i dont think ill be going in the ocean ever again if this radioactive waste gets poured in the ocean. i dont want higher chances of radioactive waste entering my skin and nostrils
just gonna have to live with that in addition to the unnaturally scorching heat outside i have been living inside indoor places for the past month keeping my ass glued to the ac facilities
also aliens. but like i already talked about that with a friend- aliens is just a word. first of all the spokesperson was dodging every question and its not even known when the truth is being stretched or misinfo is spreaded and answers are never going to be available in your google search at home. hypocritical bc i did some surface google searches about the ocean dump but if sending a letter is my expense in the situation i dont see harm. unless youre in their position the public wont know what the βalienβ is. if itβs dangerous or if itβs just a harmless βcorpse.β to comfort my friend and myself abt the thought of aliens (we were taught about the rapture and my friend sent me this tiktok of a girl going on about how the aliens are probably demons and the government would plan to frame the rapture as an alien abduction) because that struck a fear in my inner child, i remembered that we're only on one planet, and that there are 7 others within our solar system, how small we are, how were one species out of an entire ecosystem of animal and plant life consisting of billions of creatures or "aliens" with their own specific values and codes. on a planet in one galaxy out of millions or trillions of unknown exponential galaxies beyond "ours" and our lives will be over shortly. very shortly. i think the world is bigger than the information we hear and receive in our hearts on earth. maybe getting to heaven is just a part of our natural primal urge that craves for survival.

Why World Ocean Day?
Welcome to National Public School Kudlu! As we gather here on this special occasion of World Ocean Day, let us embark on a remarkable journey into the depths of the mighty blue that covers over 70% of our planet. Today, we celebrate the oceanβthe life-giving force that sustains us, supports biodiversity, fuels our economy, and offers us countless adventures. Join us as we dive into the depths of knowledge and discover the significance of our magnificent oceans.
The Ocean's Purpose: Why It Matters:
Did you know that the ocean is responsible for producing at least 50% of the oxygen we breathe? That's right! Each breath we take is a gift from our vast and powerful ocean. Beyond oxygen production, the ocean also acts as a sanctuary for the Earth's remarkable biodiversity. It is home to millions of unique species, from the tiniest plankton to the majestic whales that grace our seas.
But the ocean's importance doesn't stop there. It serves as the primary source of protein for over a billion people worldwide. It nourishes our bodies and sustains coastal communities by providing an abundance of fish and seafood. Moreover, the ocean plays a significant role in our global economy. By 2030, an estimated 40 million people will be employed in ocean-based industries, contributing to the growth and prosperity of nations around the world.
Conserving the Ocean: Our Collective Responsibility:
Now that we understand the immense value of our oceans, it becomes our collective responsibility to conserve them. As members of National Public School Kudlu, we have the power to create positive change and protect the oceans for future generations. Here are some ways we can contribute:
Spread Awareness: Educate others about the importance of the ocean. Share your newfound knowledge with family, friends, and classmates. Inspire them to take action and become ocean ambassadors themselves.
Reduce Plastic Pollution: Plastic waste poses a severe threat to marine life and ecosystems. Say no to single-use plastics, recycle diligently, and participate in beach cleanup drives. Let's make a conscious effort to keep our oceans clean and free from harmful debris.
Conserve Water: The ocean and its inhabitants rely on freshwater sources. By conserving water in our daily lives, we can reduce the strain on these vital resources and ensure a healthier environment for both land and sea.
Support Sustainable Seafood: When choosing seafood, opt for sustainably sourced options. This decision helps protect ocean ecosystems and ensures the long-term viability of fish populations.
Conclusion: The Time for Action is Now!
As we celebrate World Oceans Day here at National Public School Kudlu, let us recognize the incredible role the ocean plays in our lives. From providing oxygen to sustaining biodiversity and supporting livelihoods, the ocean's significance cannot be overstated. We have a duty to preserve and protect this vast and remarkable ecosystem.
So, let's join hands, dear students, and take a pledge to conserve the ocean and keep our beaches clean. Together, we can make a difference. As we move forward, let us remember that our actions today shape the future of our oceans tomorrow.
Happy World Ocean Day! Let's dive into a brighter, bluer future!

Combatting IUU Fishing: The Battle for the West Philippine Sea
The salty spray stung my eyes as I gripped the weathered wheel of my banca, a small Filipino fishing boat that had been my familyβs legacy for generations. The sunrise cast a golden glow over the endless expanse of the Philippine Sea, a familiar sight that always filled me with a sense of peace and purpose. But lately, that peace had been replaced by a gnawing worry, a feeling like there was anβ¦

Southern Dragon Publishing - World Ocean Day 2024 -Β Southern Dragon Publishing - World Ocean Day 2024 - one of my favorite things has always been sitting on the sand watching the waves roll in on a deserted beach. It did not really matter the time of day or even the season. I just wanted to breathe in the salty air, feel the breeze blowing on my face and just be still for a little while.

Learning to Live on Earth: Confronting Ocean Pollution
instagram
Repost from Angry Earth on Instagram
"Now that we have learned to fly in the air like birds and dive in the sea like fish, only one thing remains - to learn to live on earth like humans." - George Bernard Shaw
We see a disheartening scene: people aboard a boat indiscriminately throwing rubbish into the sea. This careless act of pollution reflects a broader issue affecting our oceans globally.
This post underscores a critical message: while humanity has achieved remarkable technological advancements, we must not neglect our duty to live sustainably and harmoniously with nature. Ocean pollution is a clear indicator of our failure to respect and protect our planet. It is crucial that we learn to live on Earth as conscientious stewards of our environment.
What can we do to combat ocean pollution?
To combat ocean pollution, we can start by reducing plastic use, minimizing single-use plastics, and supporting sustainable products. Participating in cleanups, whether local beach or river efforts, helps remove trash from waterways and prevents further harm to marine life. Advocating for change by supporting policies and organizations focused on reducing pollution is crucial for systemic reform. Additionally, raising awareness through social media and other platforms educates others about the impact of ocean pollution and encourages collective action. By making these small daily changes and pushing for larger reforms, we can protect our oceans and ensure a healthier planet for future generations. ππ
