YANG JUNGWON, blanket thief of the night ☆ (fluff, romance, gn!reader, wc: 504, warnings: mentions of kissing)

★ — in which jungwon doesn’t appreciate you stealing all the blankets at night, but manages to find a compromise that he’s sure will benefit you both.

Yang Jungwon found himself shivering for the fifth time in the night.

Your body laid next to his on the bed, sound asleep. He wondered how your unconscious self could snooze so guiltlessly after having once again snatched the blankets from his now freezing body.

He huffed, frustration bubbling in his chest over how hard it was to be angry at your peaceful face. You looked like an angel, the fluffy blankets you were swaddled up in your holy robes. Your eyes were closed, showing off your long, pretty eyelashes, and from your soft, slightly ajar lips came gentle snores, filling the otherwise silent space of the room. Indeed, you were a picturesque vision of tranquillity, sleeping away without a care in the world.

An angel was still a thief, however. And Jungwon was still very, very cold.

This was ridiculous, he thought. He’d never get any decent sleep at this rate.

He continued to gaze at your sleeping figure as he pondered. He knew that pulling the sheets from you would be a useless endeavour. It would only result in continuing the tug of war that had been happening the entire night. Should he grab another blanket? No. You’d probably steal that one too.

Jungwon sighed, forlorn. The cat print pyjamas covering his entire body did nothing to stop the biting cold from penetrating his skin, turning his flesh into ice. Everything he did to combat the glaciating of his body was in vain – no rubbing of his arms against his skin, curling up into a ball or violent shivering could stop the eventual frostbite he’d develop.

You, however, were probably so, so warm in comparison to him. Wrapped in stolen goods and aggravatingly unaware of his freezing form. And yet like the angel you are, you still somehow looked so sweet. So huggable.

Huggable….. Huggable?

Ah.

Jungwon may have found the solution to his dilemma.

Rolling over to your side of the bed, he gently made quick work of the blankets encasing your form, until they were evenly spread around both of your bodies. The commotion caused you to finally stir awake, eyes half-lidded as you regarded Jungwon sleepily.

“What are you doing?” Grogginess clung to your voice as you spoke.

Jungwon shushed you as he snaked his arms around your waist.

“You’re so cold….” you whined drowsily as you felt him pull you flush against him.

“I wouldn’t be so cold if you hadn’t kept stealing the blankets.”

Jungwon felt relief flood into his veins. He could feel himself finally start to defrost as he held himself against your warm frame.

“Now go to sleep,” his voice had now lowered to a whisper as he felt himself finally begin to drift off.

You simply hummed, responding with a short ‘sorry’ before snuggling further into him, face smushed against his chest, once again succumbing to sleep.

Jungwon fought the urge to roll his eyes and opted to instead kiss your temple with a smile, before finally entering the land of the dreaming.

“What? You’re joking, right?”

Mingi’s fingers falter around the strawberry gummy packet, taken aback by your snappy response — uncharacteristic of your usually gentle nature. But he quickly recovers, replacing his shock with a teasing smile.

“I finally pour my heart out to you and that’s how you respond?” he chuckles as he finally opens the packet.

“I’m sorry, I just…. what? How?”

“What do you mean ‘how’? I just told you, idiot,” he quips back, mouth full of strawberry gummy.

“Yeah, I heard what you said, but what I don’t understand is why,” you reply with an eyeroll. “And don’t talk with food in your mouth! It’s gross.”

He sticks his tongue out at you as he grabs another packet from the bowl on the coffee table.

“Then you should’ve just said ‘why’.”

Instead of responding back, you slap his shoulder. You’re not sure if his gummy smile as he laughs in response makes you want to kiss him or kill him. Maybe both.

You sigh, melting into his side and leaning your cheek against the soft fabric of his grey hoodie.

“You’re so dumb, you know that?” you mumble into his sleeve. “How could I be anything but hopelessly in love with you?”

You hear him laugh again, this time his voice holding an embarrassed tinge.

“Y/n,” he drags out your name with a whine. You aren’t looking at him, but you can clearly tell that his nose was scrunching — an endearing habit that showed itself whenever he cringed.

“I’m being serious. You’re the sweetest, coolest, most loveliest and considerate boyfriend ever and I have no idea how you don’t see that.”

You trap him in a hug as you whine, embrace tightening as you go on.

“You have the cutest smile, your laugh is probably the sweetest sound in the world and you drive me insane every day because I look at you and it’s like, ‘Wow. That’s my boyfriend. How did I pull someone so fucking hot?’”

Before you’re able to go on any further, you’re suddenly tackled into the couch, Mingi’s large frame pressing into yours as he nuzzles his face into your neck.

“Y/n. Stop it. Seriously,” you can feel him smile against your skin.

You simply grin, threading your fingers into his hair and beginning to play with his greyish blue locks.

“Do you feel better now?”

“A little,” he begins to plant kisses against your warm flesh as he speaks. You giggle at the ticklish feeling. He trails his kisses upwards, you having to stop yourself from squealing as you feel his lips reach your jawline and then finally — your lips.

“I love you,” he says as he pulls away, but he leaves just enough distance between your faces that you can still feel his lips touching yours.

“Your breath smells like strawberries,” you reply with a flushed face.

“Does it taste like strawberries too?”

His lips are back on yours before you can respond.

“I’m not sure… I think you’ll have to kiss me again so I can give you a proper answer,” you say when he pulls away, breathless.

Mingi does nothing but smirk back at you, leaning in again to envelop your lips with his own plush ones.

Yep. Definitely strawberry. And definitely delicious.

♡ ! — Jongseong would just look into your eyes, admiring your focused face a few inch closer to him. he didn’t want to just stay still and wait until you finish doing his makeup. He can’t stop himself from suddenly kissing your nose out of nowhere. A few times he did this you were surprised but you got used to it eventually. He never seems to grow tired of placing sweet peck on your nose whenever you finish a part of doing his face. 

♡ ! — Jake is such a cutie. he always gets ecstatic whenever you tell him you wanted to put makeup on him (please he gets so excited to the point he's the one to prepare your makeup kit for you!). and by the time you are applying makeup on him, whenever he gets the opportunity he would boop your nose with his finger. he would do it when you're least expecting it, so you get startled whenever he does so. It was slightly anmoying but you couldn't help but giggle and smile whenever he does so. He's just so cute. too cute.

♡ ! — Sunghoon would be a real tease. Even you couldn't last long going too close to hoon. He's a funny fucking dude cause he'd initiate an unnecessary staring contest with you; just having eye contact with him could make your face red as hell. " How cute. " that's what he says whenever you make a pause and try to breathe as fast as you can, following with him cupping the both of your cheeks, gently pulling you right in front of his stunning face once again. ♡ ! — Sunoo tells you stories, fun facts, kdrama criticisms, or just tell whatever the whole time you do his face. Kind of distracting though you don't mind since he's really balanced so it's easy for you to follow and do his look. You actually enjoy him sharing his insight to you during a supposedly really quiet process. After that he offers to do yours as well, " I look so cute! Come on love, i'll do yours. Let's match looks! "

♡ ! — Jungwon actually LISTENS to you!! Quiet and obedient the whole time. Though would lose his shit by the time you get to do his eyeliner. Also by losing his shit— what I mean is that he'd suddenly kiss you whilst doing his eyeliner! He just couldn't take it " How can I not kiss you? you were so close. too close. "

♡ ! — Ni-ki is honestly so stubborn. Would take a while to finish his makeup. He teases too much but it's tolerable. As much as you want to be frustrated, you couldn't. You like him like this and for some reason, you could focus better. After that he would just let your forehead lay on his for a short while, while your noses are in direct contact. " I know it hasn't been anytime long but i miss your face this close to mine, so let's stay like this for another few minutes. "
