Little quirks you'll notice once you start dating

Sometimes you only notice weird habits after getting very close to someone

Bennet

He definitely chews on his nails, but only when he thinks he's somewhere people won't notice he's being a worry wart

He has a morning ritual, that changes every few months, in an attempt to combat his bad luck

It usually includes things like saying goods things out loud or touching things he cherishes

(yes that includes you)

Always burns food, even if he uses just the barest of flames, and so has developed a taste for it. He likes most of his food with a bit of a char on it, even if it sounds like it shouldn't

Likes tucking his head under your chin when snuggling, even if he is taller than you

Jean

He's very ticklish so you gotta be careful where you run your hands when cuddling. He has accidentally kicked you a few times.

Twirls her hair around her finger when she's lost in thought, to the point where if she's had a spacey kind of day you can find one lock of hair is just a bit curlier than the rest of her hair

Also has a morning routine, but this is mostly in place so she can operate on autopilot. She is not really a morning person and will do the entire thing while nearly still asleep

Keeps a spare notepad just for doodling and thought mapping, usually keeps it hidden because it's counter to her put together image

When you sit next to each other on the couch to relax for the evening, she likes to tuck her hand between your thighs. Not to grope you or anything (usually), she just likes how warm and soft it is, it's like holding hands but not impeding you if you're reading or somethin

Diluc

Despite his erratic schedule, he insists upon giving you a good morning kiss every day

Any sort of hair brushing or head patting will instantly make him melt. If you like brushing or braiding his hair, he'll ask that you only do it at night so he can fully relax.

Rather than big or little spoon, he likes when you lay mostly on top of him. It's a bit like a weighted blanket with the benefit of your heartbeat and scent.

(you have woken up in the middle of the night accidentally inhaling his hair tho)

He tends to keep his gloves and accessories all together in his coat for convenience sake

He does a pocket check every time he puts his coat on anyway cause he misplaced his gloves once

When he's feeling irritable or rundown, he'll attach himself to your hip. Sometimes he wants to talk or cuddle, but most of the time he just wants to be near you and your good vibes to counter his bad day
