YOU'RE TOO SWEET OMG!!! CRYING!!! I'm glad you enjoyed that bit!!! I'm at 3k words rn and Vernon and Scoups are still not fucking, so thats fun. It's always "Oh this is gonna be a short lil fic :3" and then 10k in and I still haven't gotten to the actual point. It happens too many times, big rip

Wonwoo choked on his drink, but only Mingyu cared enough to pat his back. A whole mess of a discussion erupted about who had seen whose private parts before. Vernon kept quiet, praying that this would distract everyone from him. He barely listened to any of it, but he watched them closely, going from Seungkwan to Seokmin to Soonyoung. His head hurt from all the yelling. Some of them were already too deep into their drink.

Vernon stiffened as he met Seungcheol's eyes, the only other person not participating. He stared like he was deciphering some cryptic code, furrowed brows and thinly pressed lips. Any other time, Vernon would have thought Seungcheol was pondering the ongoing discussion, but not now, not when his gaze was so intently fixated on Vernon. Like this, Vernon didn't want to think at all.

A small smile curled Seungcheol's lips. Reassuring. Gentle. Vernon's whole face burned and he looked away. He chased away whatever greedy hope was blooming in his mind, as if Seungcheol was actually interested in Vernon's sex life. Like everyone else, he was probably only curious for the fun of it.

Thankfully, the topic was dropped. Some of the members moved on to strip poker, clearly for a chance to see each other naked. Vernon only got out of this, because he wasn't the only one to decline participation, Minghao, Wonwoo and Seungcheol instead deciding to order some food. Vernon excused himself for a bathroom break and then sneaked into his room. If they found him sleeping, they wouldn't wake him. And Vernon didn't have to think about his leader's intense stare anymore.

Johnny glanced up at him, then over at Taeyong, who looked absolutely miserable. Johnny's own mind was going as slow as a snail trying to comprehend what was written on the screen. Even during the fourth time going over, it was still the same. 

Taking a deep breath, he scrolled down.

'Twitter went wild when two idols posted an instagram update, but not for the usual reasons. On the xx.xx, Stray Kids' Seo Changbin posted a selfie of himself at the N Seoul Tower with the caption "Let's get a lock for our love". Stays, the Stray Kids fandom, thought nothing much of it, just another message for them from their favorite idol. An hour later NCT member Seo Young Ho aka Johnny, also posted a selfie of himself at the tower with the caption "I wanna get a lock with all my fans". Almost immediately, both nctzen and stays pointed out the similarity between the two posts. When user @taeyussy pointed out that it appears the two selfies were also taken in the same spot, it was only a matter of time for the rumors to start.'

Johnny tightened his hand around the phone as he dropped onto the nearest chair. He opened his mouth to say something, anything, but he only gaped like a fish. Dating Rumors? Because of a damn selfie? Johnny laughed, almost hysterical. He scrolled back to the selfie from Seo Changbin that was included in the article, alongside his own picture.
