your first thought is to panic, but instead you're annoyed. you dial him again, but it rings until you are greeted by his voicemail.

"uh, call me back ricciardo. its not polite to hang up on your girlfriend after she tells you she's on her period."

its radio silent for almost an hour. the next time you hear from your boyfriend is when he's walking through your door with a wide grin on his face. he has a couple of bags in hand, and he sets them down on the coffee table.

by that time, you've transferred to the couch to watch friends. you return daniel's grin with a glare, wrapping your blanket tighter around your body.

daniel pouts, sitting by you. "don't be that way. i know hanging up on you wasn't the smartest thing i've done, but it was for a good cause."

daniel leans over to grab one of the bags, showing off its contents. chocolates, chips, and even a tub of your favorite ice cream.

you wished you had the willpower to feign being upset, but the bag of cool ranch doritos look a little all too appealing. so you release the blanket, pressing a kiss to your boyfriend's stubbly cheek and mumble a quick thank you.

"you're welcome bug. i bought some feminine products too... didn't know what you prefer so i bought a couple of things. and..." he grabs a paper bag, pulling out a honey badger stuffy, "what are the chances they had a microwaveable stuffed honey badger?"
