Eunyung and stealing
HJ | Parallels | Details
Eunyung had never stolen anything before the first time he was accused of it, after running away the first time. He didn't steal those headphones, yet still got beaten up for it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
His dad didn't even let him explain himself before starting to hit him. Only afterwards did EY get the chance to say he didn't do it so his dad could hear, who ofc didn't care enough to believe him. Instead of trusting him or at least listening to him, he asked EY to apologize for sth he didnā€™t do and just get the whole thing over with.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
^^ Here, EY was caught off guard by his dad's "gentleness" (<- not hitting him) when he leaned down and whispered to him (hence the small blush above). To me, it seems like he had a sliver of hope that his dad would be nice to him for once. But the gentleness vanished quickly as his dad then proceeded shaming and guilt-tripping him into apologizing (hence the blush below).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That tactic didn't work bc EY knows how unfair the thing he's being asked to do is. He knows he's innocent bc he really didn't steal anything. When he refused and insisted he really didn't do it, his dad pulled the "I'm so disappointed in you. You never change"-card.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, that tactic worked. In the end he just gave in and apologized as told in order to avoid more conflict and finally get out of that uncomfortable situation -> Something like resignation
(^^ This also ties into why EY was so upset with HJ's words during Thanksgiving's arc -> he hates the idea that he can't change and will stay like this forever. That's also a reason why he apologized despite being innocent -> EY wanted to prove his dad wrong: He can change. He can be something other than a disappointment not worth anyone's time.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The guy who actually did it got away with it and EY got made fun of for being stupid enough to take the blame. He sought out the guy to take revenge bc he knew there'd be no other type of justice for someone like him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
His dadā€™s actions that day (wrongly accusing and forcing EY to take the blame) is what pushed him to try stealing -> If he was going to suffer the consequences anyway, he should at least benefit from it somehow by actually stealing sth and profit from whatever he stole. That way the accusation would at least be valid.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
That day, EY learned to seek justice by himself because no one else would; and he learned to steal. He started stealing in his first year of middle school, one month after running away from home for the first time. All because of his dad. EY never had a father, he had the opposite of a role model -> he knew what he did not want to be.

What's the Wardi cultural take on Akoshos sleeping with/partnering with/marrying other Akoshos?
It's not highly regulated to a degree that there are overwhelming cultural norms about it. There's a lot of societal focus on akoshos being theoretically suitable sexual partners for both men and women due to being dual-gendered, but not to an extent that relationships with One Another are stigmatized.
They also largely get to escape from the most severe concerns about penetrator/penetrated power dynamics because they're not regarded as Men (they're regarded as dual-gendered, and they're a female social class on every practical level), there's no status of manhood to Lose by receiving sexual penetration. The only real thing you see in that department is people assuming that one acts as 'the man' and one acts as 'the woman', but this is largely due to preoccupation with a notion of sex being Penetration With A Penis (and that Penetration With A Penis means that one person is in a Man's Role and one person is in a Woman's Role). But this will not be regarded as unnatural as in same-gender male relations, akoshos will Have to take up a position in this sexual dichotomy if they want to have Real Sex (Penetration With A Penis) with each other, and this is not unnatural and doesn't involve gaining or losing status since they are simultaneously male and female, not men.
So like you might see individual culture critics finding stuff to nitpick about it as their annoyance of the week or a singular Guy here or there who thinks it's weird, but this isn't a widespread norm. The vast majority of people don't give a shit about akoshos having sex with each other. The worst thing you're likely to experience Solely by virtue of being in an akoshos-akoshos relationship is someone asking you (probably with genuine curiosity) which one does the man stuff and which one does the woman stuff.
Akoshos also don't experience Hard expectations for marriage (though there are societal pressures that make marriage an attractive safety net all the same, ESPECIALLY marriage to a man) so unofficial life-partnerships between akoshos are pretty much the Only same gender partnerships between unwed people that are going to go unquestioned. ((Sworn brotherhood is technically a same gender life partnership for men that is Functionally similar to marriage (in that it's a kin-making practice between unrelated adults), but the tradition is Built upon the assumption that both parties will be married to women and that a primary goal of this kinship is to provide security for both parties' wives and children)). Marriage obligations in general are more lax in the economically secure but not Wealthy lower mercantile classes (as obligations to support and perpetuate one's family are universal, but these obligations can be filled simply by having at least One son who can get hitched, and marriages in the lower classes have no political functions and therefore there's less reason to ensure All your children are wed (there's still incentives like dowry, but this is not desperately needed when a family is economically secure)). So akoshos in this class group tend to have a Lot more freedom in terms of their life arrangements and chosen partners (though still experience the limiting frameworks of structural misogyny in other capacities).
The only thing that is out of the picture is akoshos/akoshos marriage. Marriage in this society has a predominantly reproductive function, the concept of reproductively non-viable marriages is generally considered absurd. This is not JUST this culture's form of homophobia, as marriage is a very practical arrangement at its core - both in a reproductive capacity and as bedrock for the patriarchal blood-kinship family system that forms the core social unit. The idea of same gender marriage isn't just absurd because 'ewwww weird' it's like, that Cannot work within this system, it Cannot fill core functions of what a marriage intends to do here, the ways on which marriage and kinship are BUILT makes same gender marriage practically (rather than just socially) untenable.
The sole exception to the 'marriage = reproductively viable" rule is that akoshos can be married to men (which in practice is almost always as a remarriage after a man has secured At Least an heir). This has a Little bit of internal logic here in that they perform predominantly female social roles (thus are suited to being a wife, even if they can't bear children) (and also on practical levels of them having the same legal status as women) but it's really more of a 'this is just how it's always been' kind of thing. A lot of the older pre-Wardi identity dual-gender roles that got mashed together under the 'akoshos' name would have involved marriage to a man as a second wife/concubine, in addition to his primary wife who would bear his children. Men potentially having multiple spouses has not been retained as a cultural practice, but the notion that an akoshos Can be a wife to a man has survived into modern day legal and doctrinal practices around marriage.
So like this being said, marriage as it is legally defined is only between a man and a woman, a man and an akoshos, or a woman and an akoshos. In practice the latter two are comparatively VERY rare- a man/akoshos marriage cannot provide children (though an akoshos can practically fulfill all other obligations and duties of a wife), a woman/akoshos marriage Can provide children (and while akoshos cannot function as a male heir, these children Will take their akoshos-parent's family name (though the wife retains her father's family name)), but akoshos are legally grouped with women in terms of rights and privileges (including being permanently under legal domain of their father unless they have been legally handed off to a male husband) and Cannot provide hard power patriarchal support that this family system is built upon and therefore depends upon, which makes these marriages socio-economically insecure. They can obviously still be a good partner and parent, but this is not the same as having the Legal hard power of a patriarch.
Akoshos marrying each other would be reproductively and socially nonviable, and is treated as a similarly absurd concept to a man marrying a man or a woman marrying a woman. It's just not a part of the marriage and kinship framework, it's not a thing that you can Do.
#Akoshos are also probably like.... 1-2% of the population. Like its an Accepted gendered space but not a large one so it's less#'managed' in a lot of senses#It's actually kind of hard to 'access' the akoshos space to begin with. Like parents look for Signs In Early Childhood and most#akoshos are typically assigned their gender early.#If you don't manage to access this space there's a good chance of being Stuck as a man with any deviance from your expected#gender roles being the HIGHLY unaccepted 'male effeminacy' which is a VERY different concept than (though obviously has tensions With)#being akoshos. A lot of akoshos self-label as adults after losing support from their families in part for being '''effeminate men'''#(this is also kind of the only instance in which gender self-identification occurs on a basis that will be Broadly accepted. Though#this happens in the context of already being detached from one's familial support network and people not knowing you self-assigned)#There are also certainly Some cases where akoshos self-identify as adults and this is accepted by their fathers. For a variety#of reasons but unfortunately often it's going to be like-#'we must have missed something but whatever. glad our kid is actually supposed to be this way and isn't just effeminate'#Also much less likely to be accepted if they're an expected male heir without brothers to take up the role in their stead#And VERY unlikely in upper classes where family members are public figures. If you've been introduced as a man here you're probably#out of luck.#(Like you'll see accusations that adult-assigned akoshos are just pretending in order to disguise being male effeminates)#This position isn't freedom from gender norms or like. The equivalent of an accepted trans identity. It's its own assigned gender#space in an Expanded but strict binary with expanded but strict roles#Also the societal trends over centuries are showing signs of increasing collapse between the notions of 'effeminate man' (bad)#and 'akoshos' (normal). At this point the concepts are still very separate but the current societal trajectory is leaning towards the#akoshos role being phased out of its normalization (in tandem with Wardi culture becoming more intensely patriarchal with#the collapse of Wardi groups into one identity)#Like 600 years ago there was NOT a concept of 'effeminate man' and proto-akoshos roles were a#more central concept that enveloped divergences from expected masculinity. Whereas now the akoshos space is significantly narrower#and the concept of 'effeminate man' exists in tandem as a stigmatized descriptor. And things have gotten to the point of#people claiming that ''effeminate men'' will 'pretend' to be akoshos#The akoshos identity becoming stigmatized/phased out isn't inevitable but the tensions around it are definitely growing#Though there's also a sense that Peak Patriarchy has been hit and you're starting to see people pushing back at these norms in fairly#notable ways. There's not going to be like. A feminist revolution but civilian women getting more political freedoms (while the overall#context stays patriarchal) is a likely outcome which could also have side benefits of relaxing masculinity standards Somewhat

I have a question ā€” a post on intersex you shared said you canā€™t transition to be intersex. Why not? If mtf, aka male to female, and ftm, female to male exist why is it not possible to identify as intersex, and to do so without being ā€œbiologicallyā€ intersex? Isnā€™t it just as bioessentialist to demand people be born with the sex traits medically assigned or recognized as intersex to have an intersex identity? This isnā€™t a casual question to me. I have been questioning my gender identity and forming my transition goals for a while and it is actually coalescing around a specific intersex amab masc but with some seen as femme physical characteristics identity. I see myself as transitioning to intersex as well as to male as I go ftm. The characteristics and lived experience I will have will fit a number of intersex conditions just as well as I will fit male, and so if we donā€™t question one identity why question the other? Why act like itā€™s bigoted to identify as trans intersex when we donā€™t see it as evil to say be mtf even if afab people have unique struggles from the physical aspect of being afab that TYPICALLY happen? We know itā€™s wrong to alienate trans women and anyone else mtf or mtnb/mtx just because they can lack those experiences same as it is wrong to alienate cis women and trans men and other ftm or ftnb/ftx people who lack those experiences. In short just because my experiences as trans intersex arenā€™t the same as a natal intersex person doesnā€™t make that part of my identity invalid or my connection to an intersex identity false or a lie. It seems very transmed and transphobic to say otherwise.
what is it with you people coming into my inbox unprompted and demanding my perspective on why you can be "trans (identity that is not gender)". first someone asked me for advice on their "transautistic" experience, as in someone who is not autistic choosing to "transition" into being autistic by larping as a stereotype, which is fucking ridiculous and not worth anyone's time to discuss. now this. you stroll up to my cyberspace, anonymously, with this cocktail of inappropriate vulnerability and unflinching arrogance, treat me like a page of your personal diary, then call me a bigot, is that it? do you think this discourse is broadly productive or at all contributing to your happiness in your identity or my happiness in mine? all you've done is upset me and make me feel animosity towards you, and I don't even know you. I take no joy feeling like that towards a stranger, but when you've randomly crossed my boundaries without the decency to show yourself that's bound to be my reaction. anon, I am not an expert on intersex issues, nor have I ever invited people to address me as such. literally just found out I am intersex this month. why in the Gods' name would you ask me this and not the original poster, or an intersex advocacy group, who clearly is more equipped to discuss these hyper niche micro-issues? am I just the first intersex person sharing this viewpoint on your dash, so you felt like I was a representative of the community and thus the perfect dumping ground for your thoughts? you know that's what ignorant people do to trans people, right? barge into conversation and force me to talk about hot button issues like I'm the embodiment of the consensus of a community? it sucks extra hard because I've barely even let myself into said community and it's already led to some shit like this. it's like when I first came out as trans all over again and everyone loses their minds trying to corner me into being a perfect activist on launch day. back off.
no, I do not believe you can claim the label of intersex without having an intersex condition. intersex conditions are distinct from the complexities of gender identity/role/presentation as it applies to the experience of being transgender; they are not perfectly analogous. this distinction seems very obvious to me and is in no way related to the forced medicalization of transgender identity (transmed) or the systemic oppression of transgender people (transphobic), and I'm frankly offended that you would insinuate as such just tossing those words around. these words have organizing power and you are siphoning it off by using them here for this bullshit when there are people in my life, in my neighborhood, that want to see me publicly executed for being transgender. stop hyper focusing on yourself so much and remember what is at stake.
this is waste of my and your fucking time.
p.s. the term salmacian exists for one who would like to have physically androgynous sex characteristics/genitalia. this term can apply to dyadic and intersex people alike. it's not a new term and it's not particularly well known outside of non-binary/genderqueer/agender/multigender circles, but there is a community for it and from my brushes with it they seem like absolutely lovely people with very diverse relationships to their transition goals/sex in a way that resonates with the ambiguity most people associate with intersexism.

Yoo Ceres!! Since the last ask, I've been thinking more about your AU (or perhaps headcanon? idk) where The Narrator was given false memories of having created The Stanley Parable. Of course, as per usual, I went "well, s__t. time to f__k around and find out, I suppose" (/p)
(also is using swear words allowed in asks? genuine question btw)
SO! here are some questions that I carefully handpicked out of the chaos that is my brain <3
(also!! u don't have to answer all of them, okay? just label the questions u answered through their assigned letters. you can choose questions to answer so dw :D)
a) Not sure if this was answered already, but who gave The Narrator all those fake memories?
- Did they just appear one day?
- Did he accidentally give the memories to himself?
- Did the actual Developers decide to give it to him for the Ultra Deluxe revamp?
- Does this have anything to do with Stanley? Perhaps the Timekeeper?
b) What's the Timekeeper's main role in your AU/headcanon?
- What do they do?
- Did they exist before in the Original version of the game?
- If so, do they remember the original game? How different are the two versions of Timekeeper personality and/or programming-wise (Original vs Ultra Deluxe)?
c) What about Stanley?
- Does he remember anything related to the original version of the game?
- Is he aware of The Narrator's false memories? If he is, has he done anything in relation to the information? How did he found out, if he did?
- If he remembers the loops/resets in your AU, has he ever noticed how inconsistent the information given by The Narrator is? Has he ever tried to question/call him out for it? If he did, how did the scene play out? Did the Timekeeper have to step in?
d) Does The Narrator remember any resets/loops?
- If yes, how so? As in, does he 100% remember them or are certain parts of each ending cut out or jumbled up in his memories?
- If he doesn't, then do certain keywords give him a sense of deja vu? Does every reset/loop slowly start to fade away, as if the previous ending were just a dream (would also explain the Confusion Ending)? What about muscle memory? Does forgetting the different endings do anything to affect his instincts and/or reflexes? If yes, how so? Explain it as thoroughly as you wanna; I'd love to read your answer/s!
e) Do you have any additional information that you've [always] wanted to share about your AU/headcanon?
- Anything about The Narrator that you never had the chance to share?
- What about Stanley?
- Anything interesting about the Timekeeper?
- Or perhaps a secret 4th option? Do tell!! I absolutely love the lore of your Narrator/Pollux, and I really wanna try to provide some of my headcanons/thoughts, if you don't mind :D
Toodles! Hope you have a fantastic day! <33 /p Sorry if these questions are a bit much, hahaā€“
ā€” šŸ…°ļønon || 05/14/2023
Sweetie you have no idea how long I've been waiting to talk about my headcanons/lore/au/whatever you wanna call it, so I am so glad you asked!!!! šŸ‘€šŸ‘€šŸ‘€
(Swear words are fine, I'm not a huge stickler on them, but I prefer to keep them a minimum to none thing. I totally get it if you wanna use them, especially for comedic effect)
And! Bold of you to assume I don't wanna answer all your questions and more!!!! I am vibrating in excitement!!!! Okay, since this is going to be so long I'm putting it all under the cut.
A) I talked about this a little bit before, but I can try to explain it a little more clearly here.
There were 2 instances of false memories that the Narrator had. The first happened on its own in the Demo. The Developers/Research Team/Jim and his people who were working on the simulation had no idea what caused the Narrator to develop those fake memories. Their best guess the Narratorā€™s mind was trying to fill in the void and create a reason to explain why he didn't like The Stanley Parable anymore, just feeling that way wasn't enough for the AI, he needed a reason so his coding created a reason. That being fake memories.
Obviously, this is bad for the team's experiment here, so Jim wiped the Narratorā€™s memory and he gave the Narrator the new memories before putting him into the main game/simulation (the second instance of fake memories). Making the Narrator think he created the Parable and everything inside it, in order to help ease the transition between the Demo and The Stanley Parable.
As for if this has anything to do with Stanley, no, since him and Mariella are basically just test subjects trying to help Narry and Curie develop personhood (thats the point of the Parable in my au. Jim and his team are trying to create artificial life) from within the Parable. TK? Yes. They were on Jim's team before they got trapped inside the Parable so they had a hand in the Demo and the 2013 Parable, so thusly were involved in the Narrator's fake memories fiasco.
B) I just mentioned this but TK used to be a member on Jim's team. They were one of the developers of the Parable. No they didnā€™t enter the Parable until Ultra Deluxe, but due to literally helping make the game they know more about the game than just about anyone else in the Parable (except for one, but I'll talk about that later).
Before we get into how TK got trapped inside the Parable it is important to me personally that I inform you that TK and Jim are very in love and were in a lovely queer platonic relationship before everything went to crap with Ultra Deluxe.
Anyways, how TK got stuck. Well after the team created Ultra Deluxe (they made it to help keep Stanley from going crazy and also just to update some things a bit) but a bit before they moved the two humans and two AIs into it they wanted to see if they could make it so they could control and keep tabs on the Parable from within the simulation. TK volunteered themself to test out the new feature and it worked out great for a while! For a while. Things went south when a tragedy befell the rest of the team while TK was inside the Parable. Since there was then no one to take them out of the game they kinda became trapped inside the coding void of the game.
So TK, since they are within the code of the game, they can manipulate the Parable in specific aspects. Though with how the feature was supposed to work, they can't talk directly to the other 4 in the Parable. They can only communicate to the rest them as text on the various computer screens in the Parable. When they show up on a screen it kinda looks like one of those command prompt windows. But for the most part they kinda act as a silent observer, waiting for Stanley and the Narrator to trigger the true Escape Pod Ending and free them all from the simulation.
C) Yes, I do believe Stanley remembers everything. Well as much as he can, he's still a human and will forget a couple things. Though, his mind has probably blocked out most of what happened in the 2011 version of the game, it was not a fun version.
Does Stanley know about the false memories? Kinda? Not really? It's weird. He's a test subject so he was only ever told what was strictly necessary, so he doesn't know a whole lot about what's going on. Guy is just trying to annoy the Narrator into becoming a person.
Yes he does remember resets. Yes he noticed all the inconsistencies in the Narrator's dialogue, so he takes the dialogue in the game with a grain of salt. The moments when the Narrator speaks without the script he is much more inclined to listen to and believe, though he can tell something's up. After all, he knows the Narrator is an AI.
I'm sure Stanley has tried to bring up the inconsistencies but the Narrator just becomes very defensive and deflects any questions with something along the lines of "You know I'm just reading a script, it's all part of the story Stanley."
Eventually Stanley and the Narrator do confront TK about the nature of the Parable and Narry's memories, and they deliver. It kinda shatters Narry's entire worldview in the process, but they do find out how to escape the Parable so it balances out I guess.
D) I honestly haven't thought about this a whole ton, but I imagine he remembers most of most of the resets. Its really hard to tell sometimes because some of his dialogue sounds too genuine to just be scripted but maybe Narry is just that good at his job. Who knows?
Maybe early on his memory was infallible and he remembered every reset in perfect detail, but as time went on and he grew and developed to be more and more human-like his memory changed too. Maybe as time goes on his own memory starts acting like a human memory would and he forgets little aspects of some endings. I don't know, I'm just speculating, throwing darts at the board to see what sticks.
I genuinely belive he doesn't remember the Skip Button ending though. Like, he probably remembered having gone to the memory zone but he doesn't remember the Steam reviews. I haven't quite figured out why he doesn't remember, but I know he doesn't remember it. Perhaps since it messes with the Parables timeline so much the game just wipes his memory of it for the sake of maintaining itself. Maybe TK wipes his memory of it each time. Idk.
I wish I could give more solid answers on this one, but I will have to think about it more. :/
E) Oh boy do I?!?!?!?!
Okay, for the Narrator, I guess I just really like talking about this eye thing cuz it's really cool. Basically the short of it is in the original 2011 version of the game he had use of both his eyes (his right eye is green his left eye grey) but after he began to gain a personality and emotions some of his coding got all tangled together and his left eye became permanently closed and started to bleed whenever he got overwhelmed with emotion. Trying to "fix" the eye thing, while being able to open his left eye and stop the bleeding, it would also make him unable to feel most emotions and he'd lose a lot of memories in the process. This is the basis of the angst fanfic I'm writing :)))
Stanley? He'll he's just your average guy isn't he? The main things of note for my Stanley would probably be that he's Irish and speaks with a heavy accent (he's selectively mute, so he can talk when he feels like it), also he knows both BSL and ISL. The Narrator only knows BSL though so Stanley uses it more often, but sometimes he will use ISL just to annoy Narry or when he really wants to say something but doesn't want the Narrator to know what he's saying (like professing his undying love for Narry pre-relationship).
Okay Timekeeper time! As I said before TK was on the development team for the Parable with Jim but got trapped inside the Parable after an accident occurred to the rest of the team while they were inside. I explained a lot already about TK, so i kinda wanna talk some more about Jim and his involvement with everything.
Jim basically acts as the player most of the time (sometimes TK would fill in that role as well) but also he's the creator of the Parable. This is why the name button says his name. Anyways, Jim made the Parable to see if he could create artificial life, so he put two AIs (Narry and Curie) into a simulation with two humans (Stanley and Mariella). Stan and Mari are basically in a sort of stasis pod or whatever while their consciousness are put into the game and they can control their avatars (kinda like the movie Avatar if I remember correctly how that worked). So time passes and stuff happens, new versions of the game are made, eventually we make it to Untra Deluxe. They've been doing TSPUD for a while, everything's going great, and then while TK is checking some things from within the game and Jim is monitoring while the rest of the team is on lunch break or smth, Jim hears an alarm for a toxin leak. Unfortunately for him, there is no way for him to get out in time so he does the only thing he can think of to not die. He puts himself into the Parable.
This plan wasn't the wisest, but it was the only option. In the rush he just transfers his conscious into the first avatar he finds. This turns out to be the Adventure Lineā„¢ because it was at the top of the list (alphabetical order and all). So without anyone to release the now 4 humans and 2 AI stuck within the Parable, all they can do is wait for Stanley and the Narrator to trigger the true Escape Pod Ending which would release them all and put both AI into their own bodies in the real world.
I'm thinking the whole getting bodies for Narry and Curie to inhabit thing will be similar to how Vision was created in the Marvel movies. Basically 3d printing humans. The "3d printers" are set to kick into life when the true Escape Pod Ending is triggered, and they print out two bodies based on DNA gathered previously and construction files and stuff so they will look similar to their in-game models, but still human. Is this more complicated than just making them robots? Yes. Do I care? No. They are humans now.
Anyways, you'd think TK and Jim would try to speed up this process right? Well they sure would love to, but Jim is an effing line and cannot talk, and TK can only communicate if someone happens to be looking at a computer screen and they're able to get a message through. So it's a lot harder than they might like. The poor guys just gotta bide their time till they can actually get Stanley and Narry's attention long enough to tell them how to free everyone.
So yeah, this was definitely my longest post. There is a lot to say about my headcanons my gosh. Um, yeah. But if you have any thoughts, more questions, or what have you, feel free to share. I am open for suggestions to help flesh everything out a bit more. So ye :)

ooo n about finding jeonghan's colour,,, u looked at his pictures to figure out what colour he is ?? that's super intriguing actually. bcs the thing is idk if i have this type of synesthesia,,, im afraid what im doing is just strongly associating colours with people ? like the aspects of their personality play a major role in determining their colour but similar to the process of getting to know someone, it's v hard for me to decide on their colour. for example, jihoon. it's like, , the more i see him the more i feel like i don't even know him yk? for hansol, even tho i don't know what his colour is, i can at least tell that his colour would most prolly be a cooler shade. but for jihoon n sometimes even mingyu i can't rly figure them out? it's like i have options but i don't know for sure. n i don't rly know if this is synesthesia ?? lmdoajdjska i think i should just take the test by synesthesia battery but im just scared lmao </3

and abt jeonghan: yeah! honestly synaesthesia is a really really different experience for anyone so i like to think of it as one of those sexuality labels. if you feel like it fits, then you're allowed to use it! those tests online are sketchy af anyways unless you wanna pay for a Real and Scientific Test
i think assigning colours to vibes and personalities is very interesting though!! i don't think i could do that haha, personalities have always just been so complex and different for me that a colour just doesn't come to mind at all (i don't think my synaesthesia works in that way lmao) so that's really really fascinating! honestly tho,,, im also struggling w jihoon too and maybe that's bc i haven't spent several minutes just Staring at his face yet but i just have a gut feeling that he's gonna be one tough cookie

youā€™re clearly not a feminist if you do r even know that radfems are for gender ABOLITION
Yet you've spent this entire time grossly misunderstanding sex polarity and arguing in favor of the idea of gender differentiation. You cannot abolish gender if you're opposed to epicenity.
no transwoman has ever had any female biology. they all have male characteristics. thatā€™s how they can even BE trans in the first place, dipshit.
Pretty sure the argument I was making was as follows:
...male dominant society has long striven to define "woman" as a discrete biological category: female, with the purpose of stripping certain people of personhood...
[B]iology, biological discourse, and the terms and words we use to refer to our material reality are structured by historic and current social and political views. A biological reality becomes cognitively significant through this discourse and these terms we use and concepts we engage with. So, defining 'women' as 'females' -- and thus emphasizing a label that is ascribed to all at birth along patriarchal standards of 'correct' genitalia and 'best' fertility -- is itself a political choice influenced by oneā€™s socialization rather than one that can claim to neutrally reflect what the world is 'really' and 'materially' like.
The fact society already defines 'women' as ova producers and child bearers (i.e. the very definition of human female; the sex that has the ability or potential to bear offspring or produce eggs) or even as vagina havers and uterus havers (i.e. the insistence that, 'only someone with a uterus or vagina is a woman') is a result of socialization in a male dominant society that has striven to define 'woman' as a discrete biological class, female.
Even radical feminist Catharine MacKinnon understood that to be defined as female is to be an object. You do not get to consent to yourself; to your femaleness. It has been defined and ascribed to you and for you. Because male dominant society must see to it that female is a woman and "clearly" a woman, opposite that of "man." It must see to it that women are women and men are men and that the two ought be separate because this allows said society to prescribe certain bounds to each group.
Certain bounds of behavior. Certain bounds of public life. Certain bounds of private life. Certain bounds of presentation.
And this all helps foster the reification of gendered associations that decrease theĀ perception of women as empowered agents and even human. These bounds of behavior assign to men the role of Aggressor and to women the role of passive Recipient, helping to reproduce sexual violence against women by decreasing their agency. These social prescriptions encourage men to act on behalf of women from making financial or relationship decisions, to deciding when and where and how a woman has sex, to the definition and social prescription of 'female,' and to the reproductive alienation of those assigned female.
Thus, 'female' is far from a neutral scientific observation and 'woman' is far from a scientific category. It was defined by the patriarchy and the white supremacist power structure and it was designed to strip certain people of their agency and humanity. It is a classification that popped up during the period of enlightenment rationality as the European colonial system began to control the world. Enlightenment rationality brought to Europeans a renewed fascination with analyzing and categorizing the world, most especially its people. The enlightenment fascination with categorization was the justification for the colonization of and dominance over non-white, non-European people. (It also brought them a renewed fascination with human biology and is about the time that the two-sex model was popularized.)
But from the enlightenment also emerged the idea that a 'natural law' governed all people; that we were subject to a natural hierarchy; that there were some individuals more human than others. The modern definitions of "male" and "female" evolved alongside our creation of the definitions for "black" and "white" and alongside our definitions of and prescriptions of personhood.
And not arguing that trans women were never assigned male at birth.
youā€™re ready to throw out Criado-Perezā€™s entire book simply because she only did her research in society that sheā€™s familiar with
Literally already explained that I read it. And I explained several of my critiques with it, including the gaps in data for black and brown and poor and neurodivergent and disabled women, which all exist in the UK, just so you're aware. This, plus her complete disregard for intersectionality, (which is made more evident by her data gaps in the book) are perfectly fine reasons to keep that book in the last decade.
Seeing as you can't read, I'll quote a paragraph of my critique:
Caroline Criado-Perez herself has a history of refusing to use and engage with an intersectional model of feminism and that is never more clear than the book you just mentioned. While she mentions the gaps in her data and references black and brown women, the book still has glaring gaps in data for women in developing countries, black and brown women, poor women, and neurodivergent and disabled women. Also, her perspective on issues is clearly western-centric throughout. It also does not address the invisibility of trans women or trans men in data sets, especially those trans people with different physiology. Trans people are also more likely to be homeless and poor and more likely to need to rely on things that are underfunded, like public transit.
just because you canā€™t accept that sex is all down to gamete production and how our bodies are built around that purpose because weā€™re animals just like gorillas and monkeys and giraffes
Can't wait to develop a fur coat with spots on it like a giraffe. But, no, sex is not alone determined by spermatogenesis or oogenesis.
Also, again, none of what I was arguing had anything to do with gametes.
do you think that animals have gender identities too
Other animals don't have math or brains large enough to create language or words to categorize themselves or the ability to build skyscrapers. Does that mean we should move to a system where we sleep in the trees or the savannah floor again *just because* other animals do it?
Humans are not giraffes.
This is just a poorly disguised naturalistic fallacy: giraffes do not have identities, so we ought not have identities too because that's more "natural."
adult human males should be accommodated in female liberation
Trans women are women.
And do I have to explain to you, again, the way "female" has been used rhetorically, socially, and culturally to refer to someone less than human, again?
fuck off you misogynist
You've literally taken the side in favor of gender differentiation and are using a patriarchally-defined word to define 'woman.' You also refuse to accept the feminist premise that 'woman' is socialized; not biological.
"Gender-crit" activism is founded upon a sex-essentialist ideology where the definition of ā€˜womanā€™ is reducible to any number essential biological attributes or characteristics like chromosomes, fecundity, gametes, or bone morphology, where the presence or absence of these essential attributes defines a woman's material condition. This provides a stark contrast to the feminism they claim to be the ideological descendants of: radical feminism.
For the original radical feminist philosophers ā€˜womanā€™ was "not a sexed class constructed with reference to an essential or reductive attribute. Rather, ā€˜womanā€™ was defined by material conditions within culture." I think a disconnect between this belief and the modern rad-fem ideology comes from what is meant by "material." For the modern rad fem, material refers to a sex caste constructed by an essential attribute; constructed by something corporeal: gametes. The modern rad-fem's philosophical monism has lead to a misunderstanding of what was meant by "material reality." But, for feminists like Wittig and Dworkin, the move to "root feminism in an inherent biological, psychological, or reified ontology was to endorse the very essentialism upon which patriarchy was built." The modern "gender-crit" has spent decades promoting the ideological position that a woman is defined by her "nature" while the trans feminist has joined the intersectional feminist, the decolonial feminist, and early radical feminists in "questioning systems predicated upon discrete, natural, and unconstructed body binaries."
You're the only one of the two of us who has come out in support of the idea of unconstructed body binaries. But, yah (/sar), I'm a misogynist.
trying to peak my friend rn. she actually came to me about it first shes struggling so bad but goes to an echo chamber liberal farts university where TIMs run the show, and shes so afraid to peak. its like she thinks if she stands up for females for half a second itll be bigotry against the transes. she is literally spiraling doing impossible mental gymnastics trying to continue holding males up on this pedestal. she is so afraid of hurting anyone it is heartbreaking. she has disregarded her own feelings and comfort so much. jesus christ.

obi-wan and his padawan spend a day with the younglings.Ā
word count: 2k
warnings: teeth rotting fluff. enjoy!Ā
the soul purpose of this drabble is that it was soft for obi hours, but i think iā€™m going to turn this into a series so stay tuned!Ā
You had come to a crossroads in your training as a padawan. You were no longer a youngling, but still a student beneath your master, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You were one of the eldest padawans which you never minded, you liked putting on the role of big sister, but it was hard to still be a padawan when in your head you felt much more grown. If it hadn't been for you older brother Anakin being the star of the show when the two of you arrived at the temple many years ago, maybe you would've been a Jedi Knight by now. You loved your brother dearly, but you had always lived in his shadow. His grand title of "Chosen One" loomed above you like dark cloud while he wore it on his head like a crown. It wasn't until three years ago that he outgrew his Master and earned a padawan of his own. It soon became your time to be Master Kenobi's student. Now, every day you woke up with the sun and trained, just as you had watched your big brother do when you were young. It was rewarding, but it soon became old news. You had begun to feel like a grown woman trying to sleep in her childhood bed. You had the mind of a Knight, but your skills just weren't there yet. If you were your brother, you'd throw a fit about not being good enough, but you were patient and devoted to learning. Your Master admired this trait in you. You and your brother were like night and day to him. Anakin was the sun, firey and opinionated, while you were the moon, quiet and wise beyond your years.
You awoke to your friend and your brother's padawan, Ahsoka Tano, shaking you awake. The younger Togruta hung above you in bed, her striped montrals and padawan beads brushing against your groggy face. "I'm awake, I'm awake" You laughed, sitting up in bed. Ahsoka plopped down at the foot of your bed, watching you with cat-like curiousity. "Are you going to get out of bed?" She asked. You stretched your arms up over your head and glanced at the flickering analog clock that sat on your nightstand. The time was nearly obscured by all the things you had crowded on the table. Copies of Jedi texts, spare saber parts, jewelry, and pictures of you and your friends and family. "I have a few minuets to spare." You shrugged, falling back against your sea of pillows with a quiet thud. "You weren't up all night fantasizing about your Master again were you?" The younger teased, which earned her a swat on the leg from you. "Ahsoka!" You gasped, now blushing furiously. She was the first person to catch onto your little crush on your master, and now she teased you relentlessly for it. "You know I'd never tell, I'm just playing with you." A tender look swam in her blue eyes, she always meant any word she said. Ahsoka was the most loyal friend you could ever ask for. "I was actually up all night studying." You replied, finally forcing yourself out of bed. "I wanted to make sure I had all my information straight for the presentation for the younglings today." You caught a glimpse of yourself in the mirror as you walked past and wrinkled your nose. Your hair stuck up in ever single direction and your eyes remained puffy from sleep. Perhaps you had underestimated the amount of time you'd need to get ready this morning. "I'm sure you'll do just fine, you have me after all." Ahsoka sang, batting her eyes in your direction. "I just really need to prove myself. I'm getting old you know." You said as you retrieved a fresh pair of clothes from the closet. "You're only eighteen, Y/N." The togruta folded her legs beneath herself on the corner of your mattress. "Your starting to sound more and more like Master Kenobi every day. I think you're around him too much." You let out an airy chuckle as you changed out of your pajamas. "Yes, but Anakin was so much farther ahead of me when he was my age. I'm afraid Obi-Wan will start to lose faith in me." "Don't be silly, Y/N." Ahsoka sighed, now stood behind you. In the mirror before you two she could be seen, barely, considering she was a head shorter than you, with her hands placed tenderly on your shoulders. "Can I do your hair?" You watched the clock tick by as your friend separated out your strands of hair and twisted them into an intricate up-do. For someone with no hair, she was quite good at doing it. "Done with three minuets to spare. We better go find our masters."
The pair of you met your masters just in time as they appeared in the lift the moment you hit the button to summon it up. "There you are, Y/N." Master Kenobi said, Anakin stood smugly by his side. "You were almost late." Anakin added before Obi-Wan gave him a swift kick in the ankle. Your brother let out a hiss as you and his padawan enter into the now cramped lift. You were stood in front of your master, your back nearly press flush against his chest, and you could feel Ahsoka's knowing stare burning into the left side of your head. "Did you do something different with your hair?" Master Kenobi asked, his Couscanti drawl lingering in your chest and making your face burn red. "Ahsoka did it for me." You replied. The girl could be seen beaming from out of the corner of your eye as the doors of the lift slid open. Your quickly stepped out and filled your lungs with air, you could hardly breathe in there. "Would you relax?" Ahsoka laughed once the two of you got ahead of your masters. "Sorry," You stuttered, rubbing your hands up and down the length of your arms in attempt to rub away the goosebumps the mere sound of his voice had given you. "You are so head over heels." "Wrong way you two," You heard Anakin call out. You turned around on your heel to see that you had missed your turn toward the nursery. While you blushed with embarrassment Ahsoka dragged your frozen form down the right hallway. "He probably thinks I'm such a fool-" "Please for the love of Stars get out of your head." The togruta muttered as she set you down in front of the nursery door. "There you are," Master Kenobi said, poking his head out of the door. You let out a yelp, his appearance had caught you by surprise. "Are you feeling well, Y/N?" His blue eyes shifted towards Ahsoka with his brow furrowed in worry. "I just turned the wrong way coming here." You answered for yourself. "Silly girl," Obi-Wan sighed, ushering you and your friend into the dimly lit classroom. The children were sat in a circle, immersed in the blue glow of the hologram in the center of the room. A map of Coruscant and the planets that surrounded it flickered before their small and intrigued faces. "Master Kenobi!" One of the younglings babbled excitedly. Obi-Wan pressed his finger to his lips with a soft smile. "Listen carefully to Master Yoda, young one." "You're kind of a celebrity, aren't you?" Ahsoka teased, gently nudging Master Kenobi's shoulder. "Oh, he's always a big hit with the younglings." You quietly laughed. "Do you remember the other day at the library?" You asked your master. He smiled fondly at the memory and your heart fluttered at the way his eyes crinkled at the sides when he grinned "We were trying to find texts on the Coruscant system for today's lesson and some younglings also happened to be there learning how to use the data pads. Needless to say it ended in them all hanging onto Master Kenobi's cloak." Ahsoka and Anakin laughed while your master just shook his head and grinned. "Master Kenobi, would you like to introduce the padawans?" Master Yoda said, summoning Obi-Wan in front of the group of students. You admired him bathed in hologram stars and surrounded by planets. Just like you, they orbited around him. Without him there they'd be lost, he was their beacon, their guiding force.
You and Ahsoka's presentation on the Coruscant system was well received by the younglings. At the end of it you were bombarded with all sorts of questions and excited remarks. Now you were sat in a chair, not made for someone your size, watching the children intently color and label a map of the system they had just learned about. Your master soon pulled up a chair beside you, it looked even smaller beneath him. "Is something funny?" He playfully asked, watching as you snickered at the seat dwarfed under him. "Oh, nothing at all!" "Do you want a coloring page?" You teased, gesturing toward the stack in the middle of the table. "Not for me, but it seems Ahsoka and Anakin have already helped themselves." You looked across the room to see your brother and Ahsoka both hunched over a shared coloring page shading in all the various planets. "Does mine look alright, Master Kenobi?" One of the younglings, a small green Twi'Lek girl, asked. "It looks very nice! What do you think, Y/N?" Your master said. "That is lovely, Amida!" You gushed. "Everyone's looks so wonderful. I'm very proud of all of you."
Master Yoda had given you and Ahsoka free reign over his lesson so it was up to the two of you to plan all of the activities. Next was a game of what you had named Planet Tag. Each youngling was assigned a planet and if they were tagged by another student, they'd have to say a fact about that planet. There were two other extra planets left, so Ashoka and Anakin took it up to themselves to also play, but after a while they grew tired. "Want to switch out?" Anakin panted, slyly nudging Obi-Wan's shoulder. "Why don't Ahsoka and Y/N play?" He suggested, stroking his beard. "I'm beat, Master Kenobi." The togruta huffed. "Come on! It will be fun!" You said, tugging him towards the center of the room by his wrist. "I don't know, Padawan-" "Did you not listen to my presentation?" You gasped. "Do you not know your planets, Master Kenobi?" He sighed and stood up from his too small chair. "Well, now I must since you've challenged me." He said before teasingly narrowing his eyes at you. The two of you joined the children in their game and Obi-Wan kept getting tagged. He was tagged so many times that he started to run out of facts to say. "You've already said that one, Master Kenobi!" The younglings giggled. "Well then I guess the game is done." You announced, looking out at the small crowd of worn out children in front of you.
You ended the class by reading a story. All the younglings gathered in front of you on the carpet, all surrounding your Master who was sat in the center of them. It didn't take long until the younglings grew sleepy, some fell asleep with their heads in Obi-Wan's lap, other's leaned up against him while they snored softly. In the very back row even Anakin and Ahsoka could be seen nodding off, leaned up against each other's backs for support. "I think that's enough of that." You said, watching as Obi-Wan smiled fondly down at the youngling asleep in his lap. "Very good job, Y/N." Master Kenobi quietly congratulated as he stroked the head of the sleeping wookie in his lap. "Thank you, Master." You replied. After a long moment of quiet, Obi-Wan spoke again. "I remember when you and your brother were younglings." He said with a fond laugh. "You've grown up a lot since then. I'm very proud of you, Y/N." Yet again your master had you blushing, you were thankful that the lights of the classroom had since dimmed. "Get some rest, young one." "I can't fall asleep in here." You laughed with a shake of your head. Obi-Wan stealthily stood up and tip toed his way over the sleeping children curled up on the floor until he finally made his way to you and sat down on the floor again beside you. "Sleep," He repeated, patting his shoulder. You hesitantly rested your head against him, letting the warm smell of his skin and his robes lull you to sleep.
let me know if youā€™d like to be added to my obi taglist! also feel free to send in requests my ask box is open and in need of some lovinā€™. thanks for reading! <3

Do you feel there are instances that are specifically "transphobia" instead of something like homophobia or misogyny? Like, i feel you've seen both the GC and QT sides takes on the application of that word (including takes such as "transphobia ain't real" and "transphobia is everywhere"), so what IS actual transphobia to you? And what are some things that are labeled as such but in your opinion is something else? (just in case, don't worry abt long answers! I love ur takes with other ppl).TYSM
I think transphobia as a phenomenom is primarily a combination of homophobia and misogyny - it all comes back to people fearing and loathing individuals who break gender norms. That doesnā€™t mean itā€™s not a real thing, though; ultimately homophobia tends to come down to misogyny, too, as itā€™s about men who lower themselves to the level of women, and women who deny their true purpose of being vessels for a manā€™s pleasure and offspring, and I highly doubt that anybody around here denies that homophobia is real. The same goes for transphobia. It exists. It is its own distinctive combination of prejudices and hatred that targets a specific subgroup of people as well as those who are perceived to be a part of said group. If transphobia wasnā€™t real or distinctive, we wouldnā€™t have words like ā€œtrannyā€ to show for it. Weā€™d just be called the usual homophobic/misogynistic slurs. Instead, weā€™ve got plenty that very deliberately target us as trans individuals - not gay people, not women, but something ā€œin betweenā€, something despicable, ruined and freakish.
So yeah, weā€™ve got slurs. Weā€™ve got my lovely combatants here on Tumblr mocking me for my ā€œmutilatedā€ body, my ā€œarm penisā€ and my ā€œaxe woundā€, both of which I apparently have at once. These are very specific forms of abuse targeting me as a transitioned trans person - not homophobia, not misogyny.
Itā€™s a wide subject. Thereā€™s the kind of violence that primarily straight men dish out for us: corrective rape, ā€œtrans panicā€. Thereā€™s medical malpractice and neglect such as doctors and nurses refusing to treat a patient because of their trans status, sometimes leaving said patients to literally die from a lack of care. Thereā€™s emotional abuse and ostracism, bullying, sexual violence because trans individuals are seen as a fetish, as pornish and always available. Job discrimination, housing discrimination.
Then thereā€™s the wide array of things that are frequently claimed to be transphobia but really, really arenā€™t, like mean old gays not having sex with us. Itā€™s been said a thousand times but you donā€™t do activism with your body and accepting, even defending a personā€™s humanity and rights does not equate to inviting them in as a sexual partner. This is ridiculous and disgusting. Purposeful misgendering falls under emotional abuse - this is prevalently used as a harassment tactic - but casual misgendering like a stranger referring to you with the ā€œwrongā€ pronouns, or being perceived as your birth sex, is not transphobic. People owe us basic human decency, nothing more than that. It is very easy to spot the line where misgendering becomes a form of abuse and where it is innocent, and as people who simply are gender nonconforming, we have to cut the slack to other people in how they perceive and refer to us. It sucks sometimes, but it really isnā€™t that hard to forgive and forget. Most people mean no harm. I always assume best intentions when facing misgendering; itā€™s the other personā€™s right to read me as female, they donā€™t know me and they donā€™t owe me the time of the day to figure out. Furthermore, Iā€™d rather not be asked in a casual setting. Itā€™s easier to get out quickly than give details of my personal identity, medical history and sexuality to a stranger for no real benefit.
What else is there. A lot of things, really. GNC men and women being GNC and even ā€œpassingā€ as the opposite sex while not being trans is not transphobic. Everyone has the right to appear, dress and behave as they feel comfortable; clothing and gender play are not reserved to trans people only. We are not the sole heirs to the genderbending and genderblending lifestyle, even if we probably are the most hardcore participants in it. Besides, the fact remains that gender is a harmful construct: the more people we have breaking through the boundaries, the better. And no, evil cis people are not in fact stealing our only means for validation when they dress contrary to their assigned gender role. Theyā€™re helping us. Not everything is about our validation. Trans people have the right to live unharrassed, and in order to achieve that, we as a society have to build a world where everyone can dress and behave as they wish. Only then can we really be at peace. Sorry about your euphoria and validation, buddy, but theyā€™re the sacrificial lamb on this altar. We all often have to give up something for a better world - progress is not painless.
Thatā€™s a lot already. Either way, thanks for the kind words!

I'm truly sorry if this comes off as invasive and you can definitely just ignore this ask if you want to but I was wondering if you've come to some kind of conclusion with the gender thing? (this sounds so stalker-y but I remember you hinting at some kind of a confusion a while back and now your about-page says any other pronouns along with she/her are fine so I was just curious.) Sorry again if this is in any way too nosy!
hey, itā€™s okay! I totally get the curiosity! this is going to be a fricking long rant (sorry for having to scroll through this in advance but read more links won't work with mobile). Also: this is the first time I properly address this publicly on my blog and it feels sort of terrifying, so donā€™t be surprised if I delete this answer in a couple days of time.Ā the answer is nope, I havenā€™t really come to any sort of a solid conclusion that I would have been able to stick with for more than a couple of days without feeling like I was over-exaggerating the issue (I donā€™t even know if there is an issue.) this is not to say that gender confusion isnā€™t acceptable or normal, I think that it absolutely is, but I really am just such an overthinker that I wouldnā€™t be surprised if all of this just turned out to be something that I completely made up for myself to be even more confused of whatĀ ā€œmeā€ means.thatā€™s a confusing clusterfuck of a statement. Iā€™m going to try again.basically, all Iā€™ve ever addressed publicly on my blog is that Iā€™ve sort of always had weird periods of time where I find myself unsure whether or not I am 100% a girl. Most times this is something Iā€™ve brushed off by telling myself that this confusion only comes from the mindset that society has brought me up with: which is to say that my internalized idea of a girl/a woman is so narrow, that I find it hard to relate to it because I donā€™t relate/conform to the roles or characteristics that are often associated with my assigned gender.for as long as I know, this could actually be true. It might just be that I still have those ideas so profoundly ingrained into my brain, that something inside me tells me thatĀ ā€œno, you cannot be a girl, because you are not like girls are supposed to beā€ which is bullshit because fuck gender roles and blah blah, so forth. Also: I find no particular discomfort in being referred to as a girl. I understand that thatā€™s at least what society views me as, and I donā€™t find it necessary to correct anyone, no matter if the confusion actually leads to some kind of a moment of enlightenment at some point. she/her pronouns are also completely fine and so is my name, which is also very feminine.so, what exactly even is the problem? there are a few. first off as much as itā€™s ok for me to be called a girl, for some reason the wordĀ ā€œwomanā€ when used to describe me, feels very off. I donā€™t know if itā€™s just an age thing - maybe Iā€™m just so used to thinking of myself as a kid, that the implication of being grown up feels wrong to me. might just be that, or might not be. time will probably tell.secondly: as much as being called a girl and being seen as a girl is okay, I sometimes get the feeling that thatā€™s not the whole picture. when it comes to labeling myself, ever since I was taught the difference between girls and boys, I felt the need to place myself a bit in the middle. this was when I was just a kid. also, at 12, I vividly remember writing an essay aboutĀ ā€œinstead of being blue or red, I want to be purpleā€ (this sounds like a fucking halsey song all of a sudden) and at 13 after learning about nonbinary identities for the first time, I actually went through a short phase during which I identified as demigirl (I stopped when I learned more about trans identities and struggles, and started to feel extremely gross and distasteful for invading something that wasnā€™t meant for my cis ass.) so, thisĀ ā€œproblemā€(/confusion) has been around for a while.Iā€™ve found it hard to talk about this for the longest time, and I think there are actually likeā€¦three people Iā€™ve ever really talked about it with properly? the truth is that as much as I believe that nonbinary identities are valid (science backs me up there) and not about seeking attention or trying to be special, I know that seeking attention and trying to be special are both very strong personality traits of mine so lmaooooo basically ngl I would not be surprised if this is something I completely made up in my head.Ā btw the things mentioned above that cause this confusion arenā€™t the only things that have made me think about this, but this is where my ability to express them ends. I cannot describe the feeling of something I barely even know myself with words. thatā€™s all it is, really. a feeling, that could also be wrong.then thereā€™s also the whole deal with my body image issues and whether or not they play a part in this whiCH I DONT FUCKING KNOW but weā€™re not going to get into those bc this would turn into a fucking novel with three sequels if I did thatif you read this whole thing, congrats. basically nothing has to change. I might come into conclusions, or I might not. I do however fully realize that Iā€™m privileged as fuck with all the time I have to figure myself out, and I really donā€™t want to compare this fuckery to the actual struggles people go through with their gender identities when being trans/nb.btw if all of this is sounds like a bunch of bullshit that I made up to be Cool and Hip then I suggest you move along instead of beating me up about it bc the chances are that whatever nasty you have to say, I have already told myself the exact same thing a thousand timespeace
