does anyone have advice on footbraking while skateboarding, ie on not coming to a complete and abrupt stop every time
#i try to put my foot down slowly and it always catches and stops immediately 😭#at least part of it is probably a board balance issue. scared to have my foot off that long#but also learning to properly stop would go a long way for confidence -_-#because currently my options when going too fast are to: 1) bail and lose my board#2) hurtle into the grass or#3) commit and die....#also i can do a Halfway decent ollie.... while holding onto something LMAO#jumping and popping timing is being worked on cos rn its either i pop the tail#but fail to bring my back foot up high enough#or i jump high and dont pop it#<- this isnt impressive but im telling u my progress cos goddamnit i made a promise#i WILL ollie. mark my words
