I just like messaging you! you're nice to talk with. but yesyes!! I've got friends voice acting each of the characters, I'm so excited about that!! I'm voicing the character Woolfred Wolfgang! and thank you!! I think they're cute too. the style is fun to draw in
fun! i think woolfred is v cute, it was really fun drawing him for your icon. i've been meaning to do updated looks for all of my own ocs but i've been putting it off cause they won't get much acknowledgment from other people. but i need to suck it up and try to have the "this is for me" mindset, even tho that's really hard for me rip

The Picnic
I don't usually post writing here, but most things The Tulip Town Tragedy goes here, so! yeah here
---
Today’s the day that Rita has invited her friend Woolfred out on a picnic! She’s very excited about it, but she is also very nervous about it. They agreed to meet up by the Sunflower Fields, near the forest. She’s bringing the food in the basket with a blanket. She double checks, triple checks, and quadruple checks everything before heading out. This has to be just perfect.
When she arrives, she spots Woolfred already there. He’s looking out at the fields of sunflowers, arms behind his back and a content look on his face. He has not spotted Rita yet.
“Woolfred,” Rita runs over, basket in hand. “I’m sorry I’m late!”
“Rita Rose.” Woolfred regards her with a warm smile. “You’re quite alright, my dear. I arrived rather early.”
Woolfred chuckles quietly “It’s a nice day for a walk, so I decided ‘why not!’ and took the scenic route here from The Manse.”
Rita gives a small smile, albeit a bit strained, and nods. She starts to set up the blanket, but her hands are trembling. She struggles with the blanket, eyes narrowing as the struggle continues. Woolfred frowns before moving closer to her.
“Let me help with this, Rita” Woolfred attempts to grab a corner of the blanket.
“No!” Rita exclaims, swatting Woolfred’s hand away. “I invited you out here to-to relax! Not.. Not work! I-I got this, Woolfred.”
Woolfred’s frown deepens as he puts a hand over hers, “Sweetheart, it’s okay. Please just let me help you.”
Rita sniffles and nods. Rita takes deep breaths as they work together to set up the blanket to be just right. They set the basket in the middle and Woolfred looks upon their work with a look of satisfaction. Woolfred sits down on the blanket and offers a hand to Rita, giving her something to stabilize herself as she sits down.
Rita begins taking the food she’s made out. Sandwiches, mostly, but a couple pastries and some juice in jars. Woolfred lets out a noise of interest as he watches her take out the different foods.
“You’ve outdone yourself, Rita dear.” Woolfred smiles at her as he grabs himself a sandwich. “Thank you, Rita. I’m glad you invited me out.”
“Y-yeah. Of course, Woolfred..” Rita takes a deep breath before continuing. “I want.. I want to apologize.”
Woolfred tilts his head at her. “Whatever for, Rita dear?”
“B-Because.. Because.. U-uhm..” Rita sniffles. “I m-missed the celebration you-you worked hard on.. And I-I know you really wanted everyone to c-come and-and I felt like I couldn’t and-” Rita cuts herself off with a small sob.
“Oh.. Oh nonono, dear, it’s okay.” Woolfred holds a hand out to her, offering it for her to take.
Rita takes his hand with one of hers, and Woolfred puts his other hand on top. He just holds her hand, giving a small comforting smile.
“It’s quite alright, Rita. Yes, I would’ve liked it if you could’ve come, but I much prefer your comfort and happiness over attendance.” Woolfred explained, “you’re important to me, dear. Much more important than the parties I like to throw.”
Rita rubs her eyes with her free hand, another sob leaving her. “I-I wanted to come. I.. I r-really did, but-but I got so o-overwhelmed and-and I…”
Woolfred softly shushes her, squeezing her hand gently. “I don’t mind, Rita dear. Do what you need for your health. Your mental health is just as important as physical health.” Woolfred raises her hand to press his forehead against it, eyes closed. “All I ask is for you to take care of yourself.”
Rita nods, her whole body shaking. “I-I can do th-that.. I… I.. uhm.. T-thank you, Woolfred. It-it means a lot t-to me..”
“Of course, my dear.” Woolfred lifts his head, regarding her with a gentle smile. “If you ever need time away from others, please take that time. You will not offend us. I promise”
“Thank you… I.. I appreciate this..” Rita sniffles, taking a shaky deep breath
Woolfred hums, “Besides, we can have our own celebration with this lovely picnic you set up for us!”
Rita smiles, still teary eyed. “Y-Yeah… Yeah! We can.. Just me and you. You’re the best, Woolfred”
“Awh.. Heh.. I try my best, kiddo.” Woolfred lightly scratches the back of his neck, embarrassed. “We can always have our own celebrations, Rita. Anytime you want.”
Rita nods with a big smile. Things settle down and the two of them enjoy their picnic together, chatting away. It’s mostly Woolfred talking, but Rita doesn’t mind. She likes to listen.
