SORRY FOR THE ESSAY POST IN ADVANCE BUT i feel like i need to keep y’all in the loop. long story short, i’ve been feeling v anxious about logging onto this blog for weeks. there were other issues i won’t go into that have been fixed now but another reason was bc i felt i couldn’t post the stuff i wanted to. there were lots of things i avoided reblogging much of or at all bc i knew some ppl who followed me weren’t fans or didn’t like it or w/e. 

i felt anxious & self-conscious posting anything that wasn’t my “usual content” (aka mostly HQ) bc i was scared that i was annoying ppl by reblogging things they personally might not be interested in. which i have realised is not a good way to think. it’s my blog!! i should be free to post & enjoy what i like regardless of whether i gain or lose followers. it’s 2017 and i want this year to be a good one, i want to banish negative vibes & that starts by me not censoring my interests. i did that once before when i was like, 15 bc i didn’t want to seem “uncool” (lmao me) and it just made me upset & feel penned in.

so i’m going to posting more of the things i’ve avoided from now on, in addition to the old type of content i was posting ! it won’t be a huge change, i don’t think, but i wanted to let u all kno so that you can either unfollow (if u really cant handle the new content) or so you can add to your blacklists so
