He. He sorta just stands there holding the plush for a second and taking in the words. His tail lowers, swishing over the floor and tucking between his legs like a scared dog.

“I’m- I’m not your son, though. I don’t understand. You know that and yet you still-”

His voice cracked as he spoke.

“Would you mind if we moved to my office? This stuff is better discussed in private, no?”

“If it helps! I can offer you something.? I gave one to William once. It helped xem. So, I got another one after I talked with you,- just in case.”

“Ah. My apologies. Thought you were Scott. I should be fine, however. Just told the guy off. Pays off having real security for a change.”

“May I ask what the thing you plan on giving me is? I know it’s useless to deny it. You’ll hand it over anyways, correct?”

He chuckled at that last bit, his tail wagging. He still remembers the good times with his dad...
