Aku bukan tipe orang yang pandai berjuang, aku pun bukan tipe orang yang akan terus berusaha. Tidak, aku bukan tipe orang seperti itu, bukan ke diri ku sendiri.

Bukan untukku, tapi untuk orang lain. Orang bilang aku sering bertindak gegabah dalam melakukan sesuatu, mereka bilang aku lebih berpikir dengan hati dibanding otakku. Mereka gak salah, karena aku sendiri merasa denyut jantungku lebih besar dari mekanisme gir di otakku. Wkwkwk, bodoh bukan?

Orang bilang aku memiliki jiwa empati yang besar, terlalu besar lebih tepatnya. Mereka bilang aku keseringan memberi daripada menerima, keseringan mendengar daripada bercerita, keseringan merasa daripada berpikir. “Kau terlalu baik kepada mereka dibanding dirimu sendiri, buka matamu bodoh, kau pikir mereka peduli dengan usahamu? Lakukanlah untuk dirimu sendiri.”

Baik? Bukan, aku bukan orang baik. Aku orang yang egois, aku orang yang lebih baik menerima penderitaan daripada melihat mereka yang kucintai terluka. Aku akan merasa lebih baik ketika melihat mereka bahagia, itu sebabnya aku memberi, mendengar, merasa. Karena itu saja yang bisa kulakukan.

Aku tidak bisa dan tidak mau menerima perlakuan yang sama dari orang lain karena aku tidak butuh, aku tidak pantas mendapatkannya. Mereka yang lebih membutuhkannya, bukan aku. Aku merasa cukup ketika aku bisa melihat mereka bersenang dan tersenyum; aku ikut senang, aku ikut senyum.

Karena bagiku, kebahagiaan orang lain berada diatas kebahagiaan ku. Egois bukan? Aku memaksakan orang lain untuk bahagia, memaksakan mereka untuk berbicara, memaksakan mereka untuk membuka mata dan melihat bahwa aku akan selalu ada untuk mereka. Meski mereka lebih memilih untuk diam seribu bahasa, aku akan tetap menunggu. Meski mereka memilih untuk mencaci maki diriku yang keras kepala, aku akan mendengar. Meski mereka memalingkan wajah dan lari ke dalam pelukan orang selain diri ku. Asal mereka bahagia, aku pun tidak keberatan.

Talking with everyone on here, sharing my art with everyone- just existing with everyone on here and seeing what y'all create has turned into such a huge aspect of my life (especially my social life like- y'all ARE my social life at this point 😅)

Plus I'm fuckin so glad I decided to try out Tumblr when I did cuz it was around a sorta traditional point in my life (moving outta a toxic ass house and away from a toxic, isolated life and my ex supposed father figure).
