Ohmygosh I am speechless. And yet so full of words, that they’re all knocking around on each other in my head and i can’t get them to calm down enough for me to make something coherent.

I feel the same. I smile to myself all day, thinking of you, getting your messages… i’ve never laughed so much just on a daily basis. It’s to the point where family is asking me now all the time, what’s funny?

I couldn’t grasp the lyrics to mirrors, because i had never met anyone even halfway like me. The song genuinely felt like a gimmick and not genuine in my mind, because I couldn’t imagine being that close and that similar to someone, that it’s like looking in a mirror.

And then i randomly thought of that song a few days ago, and listened, and it made me tear up because i finally understood the honesty in the lyrics that I couldn’t see before.

I hear so much of my younger self in you. With insecurity, and saying i don’t have to do things for you. And it makes me jump right in to reassure you that you are worth everything and more, because i know how those feelings feel. And the right person will want to do things for you not because they have to, but the love in them compels them to serve you. To love you that extra mile. So i tell you i want to so you can hear it over and over, that i want this. I want you. I choose to love you more than the bare minimum. Much more.

It warms my entire heart and soul, when you tell me how you’re feeling and what you’re thinking. I’ll never tire of hearing that you’re excited, because i’m over the moon, too. Knowing you feel the same about me as I do you, is indescribable.

I’m very much looking forward to the beautiful parts of daily life we’ll get to do together. The little things, that are so big.

Ohmygod buying a house together is the most beautiful thought. Our own place. 🥹
