do you feel like movie sonknux got like really weird after sonic movie 2? I mean I still see some ppl ship the movie version of sonic & knuckles and I was like "oh god no they're siblings"

tbh i never really got actually into movie sonknux even before the movie came out because i kind of had a feeling that they might do something that made movie sonknux weird. and well *insert screenshot of robotnik saying "look at that. i was right"*

and i guess you could argue "well they never SAID theyre brothers" and who knows maybe im wrong but it seems obvious to me that theyre going down the route of tails and knuckles becoming part of the family? so im just. not really comfortable with the idea of shipping sonknux in the movie universe. i still like sonknux in the games comics etc though because those are set in different universes and dont even imply a familial relationship between sonic and knuckles but im just gonna have to say no thanks to movie sonknux

#sonic movie spoilers #sonic 2 spoilers #asks #and i feel similarly about movie sonadow like joking about how theyre gonna be gay is fine thats whatever #but every time i see people becoming actually invested in movie sonadow im just like #Did you guys learn nothing from the sonknux enjoyers who posted a bunch of ship stuff before the movie came out #and now regret it immensely because they may or may not be brothers #< not saying liking movie sonadow makes you a bad person or anything btw #i just dont get why people are already wanting to ship them when we dont know anyhting about their dynamic #and i also find it annoying that some people are treating shadow like hes a potential love interest and nothing else #but whatever thats a topic for another post
