man poor ch3 kaito. imagine being incredibly freaked out by the possibility of ghosts the whole chapter and then the scary ass murderer this chapter is like "Haha ghosts are real as fuck. And I'm gonna watch over you. As a ghost. Which are real as fuck." And then you see him get turned into a real ass ghost. And get killed by another ghost.

“Thanks for the clarification.” For a few moments Teru simply mutters softly to themself after that, tilting their head from side to side. Something Trik says causes them pause but not for very long. They hum once after Trik finishes speaking, tapping their chin before nodding. Quickly they drop down low to the ground, stretching their arms and one leg although their left arm is still carefully moved. Just as quickly they snap back up again before clapping their hands together. “This could be wildly wrong but I’m gonna take a crack at it anyways. Working with everything we have, and a few smaller guesses and assumptions...” They clap once more, glancing around the trial room. “Please suspend your disbelief until the end of this theory, you’re going to have to indulge in Fully Conspiracy Mode for a few Hot Minutes.” They look to Trik and finger gun. “I am going to potentially prove and add onto this theory.”

“It would make sense for it to be one Tamatsuki Sen. Arc said that Tama’s secret was selling weapons he made to criminal organizations so like that right there really suspicious. Powerful weapons. And do you know what’s not good for business? Scandal. Potentially Iron Grip was a sort of way around that, switching over to work for them thus losing all the disadvantages that Tama’s company saddled them with. A way to start over, start clean slate. The news article said that the Police were looking into ‘their competitor’ for potentially causing something. We don’t have anything that points to what that something was so this is where we need to make some assumptions. Whatever it was it was bad enough that The Authorities were looking into it and suspected, most likely, Tama’s family business was involved. Probably from the illegal weapons dealings.”

“Point is, who else here has ties to weapons and their creation? I even stole a gun from Sen’s room during the first investigation, all the bullets in there were rubber rounds though. And Luki said that some of Sen’s own blueprints were in the workshop. Suspicious no?” They rummage through their bag before pulling out a revolver. “Had this bad boy on me for reference since way back then. Again it’s only got rubber bullets in it but still, like this is sus right?” They turn the gun over in their hands. “There was more than just this gun in there also, but it was the only one I was interested in and the only one I took. Clearly Tama liked weapons, this is something we can all agree on I am sure. If the scandal and… whatever they might have had responsibility in, whatever event, was ruining business then well, there would be no way to salvage the company. Too many black marks in the ledger, too many blood stains on the carpet. So becoming part of a new company would make sense right?”

“The submarine also, that’s a sort of military type ship, what sort of organization would have access to something like that? Likely something working With A Military right? Who exactly needs and can afford a Navy ship used for spying and such? The gas also, the fear gas that was ‘hard to get’, that was literally ‘developed for the use of torture’ and you know where that would be useful?” They clap their hands together a few more times, to emphasize their next words, “also the military. Sure would be useful for interrogations right? Hell maybe even the police force who can say, but it’s conjecture so let’s move on from that. Whatever killed the real Ayame was a powerful weapon, and the poison used to kill Yui was also powerful poison. HOWEVER-” They hold one finger up, waving it in a semi circle around the room. “So Tama is missing as a ghost, up and Vanished. Ayame had never been there. But I know were Ayame is for a fact. She’s indeed in the laptop with the A.I. Ayame, keeping the A.I. from making things worse for us right now. A.I.yame confirmed this to me, when I asked what would happen if someone broke the laptop. It keeps Ghost Ayame in control and A.I.yame in Gay Baby Jail, but she has to stay in the system, the server, to be able to control things. That is real, that is a fact. So we know where one ghost that can’t be found is, in a vessel. So what does that mean?”

They gestured outwards, rolling their wrists in circles with an expectant and excited look on their face. “It meeeeeeans….. Tama is probably in a vessel right now. I don’t know if there is a need for a program, but that part isn’t actually that important. The real Ayame was never around because she was in a vessel, we know this. And guess what we already know can be made? Robots. So Ghosts can in fact use electronics as vessels, a fact Ayame proves, this place is crawling with robots, so putting two and two together... Tama is probably in a robotic vessel, perhaps in that submarine. Human augmentation wasn’t meant to be that but damn this sure is how it’s happening huh? Don’t have to fake your death if you just die for real.” For a moment they glance at Souko’s hologram. “Arc is right about that also. Tama was the first to go, and asked to be. An easy way out of a game he made if it was Tama. I’m not sure what the point of this game is exactly, but I already told Luki a few theories made on the spot. Weapons testing, some sort of commercial, and here is a new one A cover up for Tama’s continued work in the weapons field. Don’t have to deal with whatever crimes you committed if you die in a mysterious kidnapping and continue work as a robot. But who can say for sure.” They gesture out towards the class. “Again Arc is on the same page as I, why would Tama be willing to die for a bunch of strangers? Why not just kill if he wanted to stop the poison so badly? It’s easy to cast off suspicion and absolve yourself of blame if you go out like a martyr isn’t it? It’s a smart move, the perfect red herring to throw people off. Can’t be the puppeteer if you’re dead. Except actually you can, ghosts are real, and robots can be possessed.”

“But that’s just a theory, a murder game theory. Perhaps you might say it’s mostly conjecture but- fuck you fight me. If the boot fucking fits what else do you need? I am right and I’m going to say it!” They clearly look proud of themself, a mix between smug and excited laced into their stance.
