Perhaps one of the most notable aspects about the Wiz/Pirate fandom is that I don't think I've ever seen anyone re-create a beloved (typically male) non-human character and proceed to draw them as your typical tumblr sexy man.
Not even to drag the people that do/have done that- like I was a teen girl once, I get it- but It's almost intriguing to me because there are so many Blorbo's in this universe that I feel would get the tumblr sexy man treatment- Bat, Kane/like any of the Armada leaders, Spider, Dasein, Pork & Beans, just to name a few.
And yet, here we are. When I see blorbo art of Bat, he is still very much his normal bat self. Not one of you have drawn Kane as a white guy in a steampunk suit, he is very much always a robot, unmasked.
And I enjoy and respect the hell out of it tbh.

So. I understand there's no connective tissue between Danny Phantom and Fallen London. In fact, they're the most tonally dissonant pairing I could think of.

Thinking how it's funny that in a way Kenny's had like multiple "face reveals" and pretty much pulled the "HOLY SHIT feels like the first time " factor every time like it's the first time we've ever seen his face even though we've again seen it multiple times. XD
Like of course the true very first time we get a full on reveal of Kenny's face is the still legendary "Good Bye, you guys." scene in the movie. But then fast forward some years after Mysterion shows up out of nowhere and for awhile we the audience don't know who is even by the end of his first episode but SURPRISE in "Mysterion Rises" his mask is "revealed" and HOLY SHIT IT'S KENNY! Another "face reveal". And even now when the immortal boi's golden hair just shows up it's again like he's had another face reveal and we react like we've never seen his face before. Esp the DikinBaus episode where Kenny just straight up showed up unhooded out of fucking nowhere and literally drove us fans NUTS. There are other examples too but that one was one of the best imo. XD
Perhaps Kenny really is indeed too powerful for this world. I swear only he could pull off face reveals more than once and still give us that true SURPRISE! feel. XD

#dreadwing#tfp dreadwing#transformers#tfp#altered loyalties#maccadam#fanart#yes babes this is going in the altered loyalties tag because i put skyke through some shit y’all#in deciding to keep breaky alive i wondered who might fill an (actually- unlike canon) emotionally charged replacement#and well- i have a corpse right on hand#because altered loyalties screamer doesn’t attempt to revive skyquake even if he does use de for a healing boost#*looks at megan and his ‘i survived a spacebridge explosion and all i got was a cocaine addiction’ ass*#shadowzone is instead the return to skyquake’s deathbed (his earth comm tower) only for de hopped up screamer to find NOTHING#something something the terrocons are an ongoing threat in altered loyalties- yada yada the ‘crime’ scene has been disturbed#the first assumption is that maybe the presence of uncloaked energon brought the dead here and got their own energon all over skyquake#but why is his hand still there? why is his hand the ONLY THING LEFT!?#why is the dirt full of small little footprints#starscream doesn’t have much time to question the details for there WAS a terrocon presence nearby and the autobots are reading loud and-#clear starscream’s dark energon signature- assumably the terrocons did too as they seem to have caught the scent#shadowzone would then play out like it does in canon but be vehicon terrocons (skyquake’s previous guardian team)#but honestly i just wanted to draw a really REALLY FUCKING PISSED dreadwing because i wanted to see that#do you think that if a bot with optics like the twins (and breakdown) can get so angry that you can see their pupil just from how bright the#optics get? just enveloped in a sea of red that all leads directly to the white hot centre?#because i like to think that :)

i have to say, playing as a medic, some of the funniest interactions ive had are with soldiers and spies
#the other day i caught a glimpse of an enemy spy and was immediately gearing up to clock them with a crossbow shot#and they just. uncloaked. said thank you. and did their gay little walk away. didnt even go for me even though i was alone.#i think i accidentally healed them a bit?#for some reason that interaction knocked me on my ass for a solid 5 seconds.

INDEFINITE HIATUS!
life has been all sorts of complicated. boyfriend’s moving in this weekend and we have a few months of trying to integrate the cats. my own cat, snow, is, for all intents and purposes, terminal (cardiomyopathy, IBD, both worsening); he could have months or year(s), no one knows. mom’s been in a nursing home for a year and we’re trying to move her to one closer to home, not to mention all of her debts and a lawsuit against her for aforementioned debts. and work is absolute hell. and my boyfriend and i are trying to get rid of/sell the stuff that was hers in the apartment; we still have so much to go through. the stress is high and life is chaos.
my own health - mental and physical - has been awful. i’m always unreasonably and ridiculously exhausted. i need to, at the very least, deal with my health before i get back here. but i really, really want to. i miss writing so much, but i’ve barely had any time to do anything that i enjoy anymore. i’m just too tired to do anything but sleep on my days off.
