Xavier 🌟🌟
The training session had been grueling, as all of all of your sessions tended to be. You pushed the new recruits hard, demanding perfection in every drill and exercise. They needed to be in peak form to face the horrors that awaited them out there in the No-Hunt Zones, battling the vicious creatures known as Wanderers.
The training session had wrapped up, and Xavier was wiping sweat from his brow with a towel, his chest heaving slightly from exertion. That's when you noticed the gaggle of giggling girls from his team hovering nearby, all batting their eyelashes at him and whispering to each other.
Typical. You could practically see the hearts floating above their heads as they fawned over their fearless leader. It was always the same - his reputation as the most successful Hunter in Linkon City tended to have that effect on people. Especially the young, impressionable rookie girls fresh out of training.
As you watched the scene unfold, a flicker of annoyance flashed across your face. The way they kept asking question after question, giggling at every word that fell from Xavier's lips, was starting to get on your nerves.
Don't they have anything better to do than hang around him like a pack of lovestruck puppies? you thought to yourself, feeling a twinge of possessiveness. This was hardly the first time you'd witnessed such a display, but it was no less grating.
Shaking your head, you decided to head to the locker room and get cleaned up after the long day of training. As you walked away, you couldn't help but overhear snippets of their conversation:
"...did you really kill 70,000 Wanderers all by yourself?" a blonde girl gushed.
"And with a sword, no less! I can't believe you wield it with such skill and precision," another chimed in.
You turned on the shower, letting the hot water cascade over your body as you tried to wash away the irritation. But even as you stood there, the image of them hanging off Xavier kept flashing through your mind.
Little did you know, the seeds of jealousy planted by their behavior would only grow more tangled and thorny as the day went on.
As you stepped out of the shower and started dressing you overheard two of the girls from Xavier's team. They were huddled together, whispering and giggling, clearly gossiping about their beloved leader. You froze, not wanting them to know you were within earshot, as they continued their hushed conversation.
"I swear, I've seen him around the headquarters a bunch of times, but he's never mentioned anyone special," the first girl said, her voice dripping with a mix of curiosity and envy. "Maybe he's just too focused on hunting to settle down with anyone."
"I don't know, Sarah. A guy like that? I bet he has girls throwing themselves at him all the time," the second girl, whose name you didn't catch, speculated. "Did you see the way some of the new recruits were fawning over him today? I'm surprised he can even walk with all that ego inflating!"
Just then, the second girl's eyes widened. "Oh my god, what if... what if he's actually gay? That would explain why he's never been spotted with anyone."
Sarah scoffed. "No way. I've seen the way he looks at y/n. Trust me, he's into girls... and I don't think he's the type to hide it if he was seeing someone."
"Well, if he's not taken, then maybe one of us should make a move. I mean, he's just so... captivating. Those piercing blue eyes, that chiseled jaw, that amazing body..." She sighed dreamily.
Her friend nodded eagerly, a similar starstruck look on her face. "I know, right? And he's so brave and skilled too. He's like, the total package."
Sarah giggled conspiratorially. "So what do you say, Lisa? Should we have a little competition to see who can get his attention first? Loser buys the winner dinner at that fancy new restaurant downtown?"
Lisa licked her lips, a determined glint in her eye. "You're on, Sarah. But I warn you - I play to win. That hottie is mine!"
You slam the door of your locker hard enough to make the metal clang and rattle. The room fell silent for a moment before the whispers restarted, more subdued this time.
As you exited the locker room, you couldn't shake the feeling that their stupid gossip had only added to the growing uneasiness you felt about Xavier's apparent single status.
Why hasn't he mentioned me? Does he not want people to know about us? Or is he just so used to women throwing themselves at him that he doesn't think he needs to bother? you wondered, your mind racing with increasingly paranoid thoughts
As you stepped out of the locker room, you were greeted by the sight of Xavier leaning casually against the wall across the hall, his arms crossed over his chest. He looked up as you approached, a warm smile spreading across his handsome face.
"Hey there," he greeted you, pushing off from the wall and falling into step beside you as you made your way out of the Hunters Association headquarters. "I was starting to think you might have snuck out the back way to avoid me." He chuckled, playfully nudging your shoulder with his own.
As you walked together, you couldn't shake the lingering irritation from overhearing the other girls' conversation in the locker room. You knew it was silly to be jealous, but you couldn't help feeling a flare of possessiveness at the thought of anyone else trying to stake a claim on Xavier.
As the two of you walked hand in hand towards your apartment building, you decided to bring up the elephant in the room. Glancing up at Xavier, you asked him about his thoughts on the day's training session with his team.
"How was the training with your team today? How did it go?" you inquired, genuinely interested in his take on the day's events.
Xavier was quiet for a moment, considering his response. "It went well, actually. There were a couple of new girls who really stood out, to be honest. They were strong, quick learners, and seemed to have a real knack for the techniques I was teaching."
"Do you think they have a real shot at making it as Hunters?" you asked, genuinely curious what Xavier thought of their potential.
He was silent for a long moment, considering his next words carefully. "Hard to say. They have the physical capability, but being a successful Hunter takes so much more than just brawn. It requires heart, determination, and a deep commitment to protecting others. We'll see how they hold up under pressure in the long run."
Without really thinking about it, you let go of his hand, feeling the need to put some distance between the two of you.
"I think I'm going to sleep early tonight," you announced abruptly, hoping to cut the conversation short before your jealousy got the better of you. "I'm feeling really tired after today."
Xavier looked down at you, a flicker of concern in his blue eyes as he sensed the sudden shift in your mood. "Are you okay?" he asked softly, reaching out to gently squeeze your shoulder. "You've been quiet since we left the headquarters. Did something happen that I should know about?"
He paused for a moment, considering his next words carefully. "Look, I know today was a long day, but I was thinking... what if we stopped by that little hotpot place on our way home? We could share a meal and unwind a bit before calling it a night. My treat, of course."
Xavier smiled at you, hoping to coax a similar smile out of you in return. "Unless you'd rather just head home and collapse into bed. I completely understand if you're too tired to go out tonight." He kept his tone light and casual, not wanting to pressure you into anything, but secretly hoping you would agree to spend a little more time with him before the night was over.
As the jealous thoughts swirled in your mind, you felt your grip on your temper slipping away. Without really considering the harshness of your words, you blurted out your next sentence, your voice dripping with an unintended bitterness.
"No, but I think Sarah or Lisa would be more than happy to go with you instead," you snapped, immediately regretting the sharpness of your tone. As soon as the words left your lips, you wanted to take them back, but it was too late.
Xavier's eyes widened in surprise at your sudden outburst, and he stopped walking abruptly, forcing you to halt alongside him. He looked down at you, a mix of confusion and hurt flashing across his handsome face as he tried to process your jealous accusation.
"What are you talking about, y/n?" he asked slowly, his brow furrowing with concern. "Sarah and Lisa are on my team, yes, but that doesn't mean I have any intention of asking them out. Why would you even say something like that?"
Xavier stared at you, taken aback by your sudden outburst of jealousy. He opened his mouth to say something, but you cut him off abruptly.
"Forget it, okay? Just... just forget I said anything," you muttered, feeling your cheeks flush with anger and embarrassment. You couldn't believe you had let your jealousy get the best of you like that.
Without waiting for his response, you spun on your heel and stormed off down the sidewalk, leaving Xavier standing there looking bewildered. You knew you were being irrational, but you couldn't seem to control the green-eyed monster raging inside you.
As you neared your apartment building, you hesitated, part of you wanting to go back and apologize to Xavier, and another part of you stubbornly insisting that he should be the one to come after you, to reassure you that you were the only one he wanted.
Maybe I should just go inside and cool off, you thought to yourself, knowing that you were still too worked up to have a rational conversation at the moment. I'll apologize properly later, when I'm not so angry and jealous anymore.
As you fumbled with the key, your hands still shaking slightly from the lingering anger and emotion, you finally managed to unlock the door to your apartment. Stepping inside, you quickly turned to lock the door behind you, wanting nothing more than the solitude and safety of your private sanctuary.
But as your hand reached for the lock, you suddenly felt a presence behind you. Your heart leapt into your throat as you spun around, a gasp escaping your lips.
There, standing just a few feet inside the darkened apartment, was none other than Xavier. For a moment, you simply stared at him in shock, your eyes wide and your heart pounding in your chest. A thousand thoughts raced through your mind, not the least of which was a fierce mix of relief and guilt.
Before you could even formulate an apology, Xavier began walking towards you with a determined stride. His blue eyes flashed with a mix of emotions - hurt, confusion, and something else you couldn't quite place. He stopped just a breath away from you, his tall frame looming over your own.
"Is that what you're going to do, y/n?" he asked, his voice low and intense. "You're going to act like a brat and accuse me of being interested in other girls, only to run off and try to slam the door in my face?"
Xavier shook his head slowly, a flicker of disappointment in his eyes. "I thought we were past this kind of jealousy and insecurity. I've never given you any reason to doubt me or question where my loyalties lie."
Xavier's grip tightened in your hair as he pulled you flush against his firm chest, his other hand coming up to grip your hip possessively. He tilted your chin up with his fingers, forcing you to meet his intense, smoldering gaze.
"Do you need a reminder of what you mean to me?" he growled, his voice low and rough with barely restrained desire.
His lips crashed against yours in a searing, dominating kiss that stole the breath from your lungs. He kissed you deeply, his tongue delving into your mouth to claim you thoroughly, leaving no doubt as to his intentions.
When he finally pulled back, you were both left panting and flushed, your bodies pressed so tightly together that you could feel the rapid thumping of his heartbeat against your own.
"Only a fool would ever look at anyone else when they have you," Xavier rasped, his thumb brushing over your swollen lower lip. "You're all I see, y/n. You're all I want."
He stepped even closer, if that was possible, until you were pinned helplessly between his hard, muscular body and the wall behind you.
"I had other plans for tonight," he murmured, his lips brushing against the shell of your ear as he spoke. "Like holding you close, feeding you a nice dinner, and then slowly, gently making love to you all night long until we both collapsed from exhaustion."
Xavier's hand slid from your hip to grip your ass, squeezing the supple flesh possessively as he ground his hardening cock against your belly. "But it seems like you need a different kind of reminder first."
His other hand released your hair to grip your jaw, tilting your head to the side to expose the column of your throat. "So I'm going to fuck the jealousy out of you," he growled, his teeth grazing your pulse point. "I'm going to fuck you so hard and so thoroughly that the only thought in your pretty little head will be my name."
Xavier's lips latched onto your neck, sucking and biting at the sensitive skin as his hands roamed greedily over your curves. "And then, once I've erased every trace of doubt from your mind, I'm going to fuck you all over again, until you're drowning in pleasure and completely overwhelmed by the knowledge that I belong to you."
He nipped sharply at your earlobe before soothing the sting with his tongue. "Does that sound good, baby? Or do you need more convincing?" Xavier purred, his voice a sinful promise of all the deliciously wicked things he intended to do to your willing body.
Xavier silenced your attempted apology with another searing kiss, his tongue plundering your mouth and leaving you breathless. When he finally pulled back, his eyes flashed with a dark, hungry intensity.
"Apology not accepted," he growled, his voice rough with desire and a hint of anger. "You wanted to be a brat, so now you're going to be treated like one."
His hands made quick work of your clothes, practically tearing them from your body in his haste to bare your flesh to his greedy gaze. Buttons popped and fabric ripped, the sound of destruction filling the air as Xavier laid waste to your wardrobe.
In a matter of moments, you stood before him, naked and vulnerable, your skin flushed and tingling from his rough touches. Xavier drank in the sight of you, his eyes burning with a fierce, possessive hunger.
"Look at you," he rasped, his large hands skimming over your curves. "Feel how hard you make me, baby?" Xavier panted against your lips, his hips rolling in a slow, filthy grind. "You're going to take care of that later, with your cunt. But first..."
His fingers plunged deep inside your fluttering channel, pumping in and out of your tight heat with a punishing rhythm.
Xavier paused, his fingers still buried deep inside your clenching heat as he gazed at you with an intense, searching look. His brow furrowed as he studied your flushed and panting face, his thumb circling your clit with maddeningly light touches.
"Tell me what got you so jealous baby," he demanded, his voice low and rough with barely restrained desire. "I want to hear you say it out loud. I want to know exactly what made you doubt me, doubt us, like this."
His other hand slid up your side, cupping the soft swell of your breast, his fingers sinking into the pliant flesh. He rolled your nipple between his fingers, pinching and tugging at the sensitive peak until it stiffened into a hard, aching point.
“Ngh-Xav—” The whimpers just won’t stop spilling from your lips, his gaze drilling into your eyes and falling straight to your drenching cunt. I- fuck-”
He leaned in closer, his lips brushing against your ear as he spoke, his voice a dark, commanding rumble.
"Talk to me like a big girl, y/n," he growled, his hot breath sending shivers down your spine. "Use your words, baby.
His fingers pumped faster inside your dripping cunt, his palm grinding against your clit with each thrust. The obscene sound of your arousal filled the room as Xavier fingered you hard and fast, determined to wring an answer from your lips.
"Sarah and Lisa they were saying.....ah fuckkk!" You try to tell him about what you heard but his fingers are still deep inside you hitting the perfect spot.
"Sarah and Lisa?" he repeated, a sharp edge to his voice. "You're jealous because of them? Because of my teammates?"
He withdrew his fingers from your clenching heat abruptly, leaving you empty and aching. Before you could protest, he spun you around and bent you over the arm of the couch, your bare ass and dripping pussy on full display.
Xavier delivered a sharp smack to your ass, the sound echoing through the room. "Let me make one thing crystal fucking clear," he snarled, rubbing the reddening flesh. "I. Am. Not. Interested. In. Them."
Another smack landed on your other cheek, harder than the first. "The only reason they were even talking to me was because we were discussing strategy and team dynamics. Nothing more, nothing less."
He gripped your hips punishingly, yanking you back against the thick ridge of his cock. "You're the only one I want, y/n. The only one I crave. The only one I fucking love." To punctuate his words, Xavier thrust his hips forward, grinding his clothed erection against your soaked folds.
Xavier knelt down behind you, his strong hands gripping your thighs and pushing your legs apart. He forced your knees to bend, opening you wide and exposing your glistening, needy sex to his hungry gaze.
"Keep these legs spread for me, baby," he commanded, his voice low and rough with desire."I want to see this pretty pussy as I eat it."
With that, he leaned in and dragged the flat of his tongue along your slit, savoring your tangy essence with a low moan. He licked and suckled at your folds, his skilled mouth reducing you to a writhing, mewling mess in record time.
He sealed his lips around your clit and sucked hard, his tongue flicking over the swollen bud with expert precision. Two fingers plunged deep into your clenching channel, pumping in and out of your soaked heat.
"Mmm, sweet girl making such a mess" Xavier purred, his voice vibrating against your sensitive flesh.
He spat directly onto your dripping, glistening folds, watching as fresh waves of your arousal gushed out to coat his chin and drip down onto the couch below. Without hesitation, he leaned in and began to lap at the slickness, sucking and slurping up every drop of your essence.
"Your taste is intoxicating," he groaned, his tongue delving deeper to plunder your fluttering channel. "I could spend hours feasting on this pretty pussy and never get enough."
Xavier's hands slid higher, gripping the globes of your ass and kneading the pliant flesh. He spread you wider, opening you fully to his relentless onslaught as he ate you like a man possessed.
"Please, don't stop," you whimper, your hips bucking needily against his face as you desperately seek more of that blissful friction.
Xavier pulled back, his lips glistening with your arousal as he fixed you with a stern, disapproving glare. He released your thighs, allowing them to close with a soft, intimate sound, then you feel him gripping your hips and pulling you to straddle his lap.
"No," he said firmly, his voice a low, commanding growl. "Good girls get everything they want. Brats like you don't get to cum when they need it."
He punctuated his words with a sharp smack to your ass, the stinging pain sending a jolt through your body. Xavier rubbed the reddening flesh soothingly.
"Since you seem determined to act like a spoiled brat, I think it's only fitting that you be treated as one," he said, a wicked glint in his eye. "You can sit here and squirm on my lap, feeling my hard cock through my pants, until I decide you've learned your lesson."
Xavier's other hand slid up your spine, wrapping around the nape of your neck. He tilted your head to the side, exposing the slender column of your throat to his hungry mouth. He licked and nipped at the sensitive skin, his teeth grazing your pulse point.
He rocked his hips upwards, grinding his rigid length against your aching, empty sex. The thin fabric of his pants created a maddening barrier between you, allowing you to feel the shape and size of him but denying you the sweet friction you craved.
"Be a good brat and sit still," Xavier ordered, his voice a low, dominant rumble. "We have all night long for me to teach you the consequences of jealousy and insecurity."
Xavier's fingers made quick work of his belt and zipper, freeing his thick, hard cock from his pants. The moment his length sprang out, he gripped your hips and lifted you slightly, allowing his shaft to slap against your dripping, swollen clit a couple times in quick succession.
"Feel that, baby?" he whispered, his voice rough and heavy with desire. "Feel how hard you make me? How much I want you?"
He pinched your nipple hard, rolling the sensitive peak between his fingers as he continued his torturous teasing. Each pass of his cockhead over your aching clit sent sparks of pleasure shooting through your body, stoking the fire in your core.
His cockhead pushing against your entrance before sliding back up to bump against your clit. He set a maddeningly slow, teasing rhythm, denying you the deep penetration you desperately craved.
"Please..." you whimpered, your body writhing in his lap as you tried to chase more of that glorious friction. "Please, Xavier...I need...I need..."
"Need what, sweetgirl?" he purred, a wicked glint in his eye as he watched you squirm. "Tell me what you need. Use your words, brat."
His hand slid from your breast to your thigh, gripping it tightly as he spread your leg further to the side. This new position allowed him to grind the thick ridge of his cock directly against your dripping slit, the head catching on your entrance with each torturous thrust.
"Tell me how badly you want it," Xavier growled, his voice a dark, sinful rumble. "Tell me what it would feel like to have my big, hard cock stretching out your tight little cunt. Filling you up so deep and so fucking full..."
He punctuated his words with a sharp, sudden thrust, his cockhead popping inside your entrance before quickly pulling back out. The brief, fleeting sensation of fullness only served to heighten your desperate arousal and frustration.
Xavier's eyes darkened with lust as he watched your eyes flutter shut, your head lolling back in ecstasy with each maddeningly slow thrust. The needy, desperate sounds spilling from your lips only fueled his own desire, his cock throbbing and leaking against your soaked folds.
"That's it, baby," he purred, his voice a low, wicked rumble. "Let me hear how much you want it. Let me hear how badly you need my cock."
He gripped your thighs tighter, spreading your legs wider as he ground his hips against yours with ruthless precision. Each pass of his cockhead over your aching clit sent electric shocks of pleasure zipping up your spine, your back arching as you chased the sensation.
"Please, Xavier..." you whimpered, your voice breaking on a desperate moan. "Please fuck me. I need your cock so badly. I need you to fill me up and fuck me hard and don't stop until I'm screaming your name..."
"Since you asked so nicely, baby..." he growled against your lips, his voice rough and heavy with desire. "I suppose I can give you what you need."
Xavier gripped your hips tightly, his fingers sinking into the soft flesh as he lifted you up with a grunt of effort. He positioned your dripping, aching sex directly over his throbbing, engorged cock, the swollen head nudging against your entrance with a teasing promise of the pleasure to come.
With that, he surged upwards, driving his thick, pulsing shaft deep into your tight, clenching heat. Your body stretched deliciously around his girth as he hilts inside you, his heavy balls coming to rest against your ass with a lewd slap.
"FUCK!" you both screamed in unison as your bodies joined, your voices echoing off the walls.
Xavier gripped your hips tightly, his fingers digging into the soft flesh as he guided your movements. "That's it, baby. Ride me just like that," he growled, his voice rough with desire. "Use these sexy legs and fuck yourself on my cock until you make yourself cum."
He leaned forward, capturing your nipple between his teeth. He bit down just hard enough to make you gasp, sending a jolt of pained pleasure straight to your core. At the same time, one of his hands slid around to grip your ass, spreading your cheeks and tilting your hips to take him even deeper.
"That's it. Fuck...I can feel you getting closer," he groaned, his hot breath washing over your breast. "Your cunt is squeezing me so fucking tight."
Xavier's grip tightened on your hips as he watched your core slide up and down his shaft, your velvet walls clenching and fluttering around him with each upward glide. The exquisite sensation of your silken heat gripping his cock so tightly sent a surge of primal lust crashing through his veins, his balls drawing up tight against his body as his own release approached.
"That's it, baby. Fuck...keep squeezing my cock just like that," he growled, his voice a low, guttural rumble.
The words “C-cumming-” are barely starting words out of your mouth before it crashes into you headfirst. You arch your spine into the perfect semi-circle as your orgasm crashed over you. Your nails dug into his shoulders, your fingers clawing at his skin as you clung to him for dear life, your cries of ecstasy filling the room.
"Fuck....fuck..fu...!" Xavier roared, his voice echoing off the walls as your velvet walls clamped down on his cock like a vice. The sensation of your cunt spasming and fluttering around his shaft pushed him over the edge, his own release slamming into him.
He slammed his hips upwards one last time, burying himself to the hilt inside your quivering heat as his cock jerked and pulsed. Thick, hot ropes of cum painted your insides, coating your walls with his seed as he emptied himself inside you with a guttural groan.
Xavier's body shuddered and jerked as he rode out the aftershocks of his intense climax, holding your trembling form tightly against his chest. He peppered your neck and shoulder with soft kisses, his hands roaming over your curves possessively as he slowly came down from the high of his release.
Xavier tangled his fingers in your hair, gripping the silky strands gently as he tilted your head back to look up at him. His blue eyes searched yours intensely, the emotion and sincerity in their depths making your heart flutter in your chest.
He brushed a tender kiss against your forehead, his lips lingering on your skin for a long moment. "I meant what I said before. I love you more than anything in this world or any other. You're my everything, my reason for living."
"Believe me, my love," he murmured, his voice a low, fervent whisper. "No one can ever take your place in my heart. It belongs to you, completely and utterly, now and forever."
Rafayel 🐡
Rafayel was already awake, his mind too restless to sleep any longer. He sat on the balcony of the resort hotel, watching the sun begin to peek over the horizon. The desert landscape seemed to glow in the early morning light, the sand dunes casting long shadows across the barren expanse.
He heard the sound of your footsteps approaching and turned to see you emerge from the bedroom, your hair still tousled with sleep. A small smile played at the corners of his mouth as he took in your appearance, remembering the feel of your body pressed against his as you slept.
Rising from the balcony chair, he crossed the distance between you and took your hand in his, bringing it to his lips to press a soft kiss to your knuckles. His eyes met yours, a flicker of mischief dancing in their purple-pink depths.
"Good morning, my love," he murmured, his voice still rough with sleep. "I have to run some errands at the art gallery today. Would you come with me? I promise it won't take long."
He knew he was being selfish, asking you to accompany him. But the thought of spending even a moment away from you was unbearable, especially in a place like this that felt so foreign and oppressive to him. He needed your presence, your calming influence, to ground him.
"Fine, but you have to invite me some dinner after" you say rubbing the sleep off your eyes.
Rafayel leaned back and laughed softly, his eyes sparkling with mischief and gratitude. "Dinner it is," he agreed, his voice warm with a newfound lightness. "I know a little place not far from here, a local gem hidden away in the back alleys of the city. They serve the most divine seafood, as fresh as if it was caught that very day."
An hour later, you emerged from the bedroom dressed for the day ahead. Rafayel had already finished getting ready, looking devastatingly handsome in a crisp linen shirt the color of a summer sky and tailored trousers that hugged his lean frame. He leaned against the wall opposite the bedroom door, his arms crossed over his chest and a playful smirk on his lips as he watched you approach.
"Well, don't you look good enough to eat," he purred, pushing off the wall and closing the distance between you in a few quick strides. His hands came up to rest on your hips, pulling you flush against him as he dipped his head down to steal a heated kiss. He lingered for a long moment, savoring the taste of your lips and the feeling of your body pressed against his.
As you ate breakfast, Rafayel couldn't keep his eyes off of you. He watched as you bit into a piece of fruit, your lips parting and your tongue darting out to catch a stray drop of juice. He felt a surge of desire rush through him, his body responding to the simple, intimate gesture with a fervor that surprised even him.
He reached across the table and took your hand in his own, squeezing your fingers gently as he leaned in closer to you. "I'm so glad you agreed to come with me today," he murmured, his voice low and intimate. "I don't think I could have faced that place alone."
As you guys arrived at the gallery, a sense of unease began to creep over Rafayel. He had been looking forward to seeing Thomas and discuss some important business matters they had to attend to. However, as you stepped inside the cool, air-conditioned space, Rafayel's brow furrowed in confusion.
As you turned a corner, Rafayel spotted a note taped to the wall, the paper fluttering slightly in the breeze from the AC vent. He released your hand and stepped forward, plucking the note from the wall and unfolding it with a sense of growing trepidation.
The note was from Thomas, the handwriting hurried and slightly illegible.
Thomas wrote that something urgent had come up, a family emergency that required his immediate attention. He apologized for not being there and promised to make it up to Rafayel soon. However, he also mentioned that there was a package waiting for Rafayel in his office, something important that he needed to deal with right away.
"Well, I suppose you'll just have to play the role of my assistant for the day," he murmured " And i can't leave without my important...package"
" I wouldn't call myself a package"
Rafayel's head snapped towards the source of the voice, his body tensing up as he recognized the redhead girl emerging from the office. His eyes narrowed, a flicker of something like irritation and unease flashing across his face before it settled into a blank, guarded expression.
Releasing you from his embrace, Rafayel took a step back, putting a bit of distance between your bodies. He crossed his arms over his chest, his jaw tightening as he regarded the girl warily.
It was clear he knew her, though from the look on his face, not particularly well or fondly. There was a history there, something unspoken that hung heavy in the air between them. Rafayel's posture was defensive, his body language radiating a subtle warning.
The girl smirked, her green eyes glinting with a smug satisfaction as she took in the scene before her - Rafayel's guarded stance, your confusion, the charged atmosphere. She was enjoying the clear discomfort radiating off of Rafayel, reveling in catching him off guard.
"Rafayel," she purred, her voice dripping with false sweetness. "I've been waiting for you. I do hope I won't be kept waiting much longer"
Rafayel's jaw tightened, a muscle ticking in his cheek as he met her gaze head on. "Celine," he acknowledged coolly, his voice tight. "I apologize for the delay. I had some...unexpected business to attend to first."
He glanced back at you, a silent apology and promise in his eyes before turning his attention back to Celine. "What brings you here? I thought we had an arrangement..."
Celine's lips curled into a sharp, wicked smile at Rafayel's words, a glint of triumph in her green eyes. She took a step closer to him, invading his personal space as she gazed up at him with a challenging smirk.
"Oh, I remember our arrangement perfectly, darling, but I'm afraid things have...changed. I need to discuss some new terms with you. In private"
She jerked her head towards the office, a clear gesture for him to follow her. There was a commanding edge to her voice, a tone that brooked no argument or refusal.
Rafayel's jaw clenched, his hands balling into fists at his sides as he glared down at Celine. It was clear he was not pleased with this development, the interruption to his plans and the demand for a private audience. He glanced back at you, a flicker of apology and frustration in his eyes.
"I apologize, cutie," he said softly, his voice tight. "I won't be long. Wait for me here? "
He didn't wait for your response before turning on his heel and striding towards the office, Celine falling into step beside him. As they disappeared through the door, Rafayel cast one last lingering look your way, a silent promise that he would explain everything once he was free of this unexpected obligation.
Left alone in the gallery, you couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled over you like a shroud. Who was this woman, and what hold did she have over Rafayel? And more importantly, what secrets were they hiding from you?
An hour had passed since Rafayel had disappeared into the office with Celine, each minute feeling like an eternity as you waited anxiously in the gallery. The once vibrant space now felt cold and sterile, the art on the walls losing their luster as worry gnawed at you.
Unable to bear the suspense any longer, you made your way towards the office, your heart pounding in your chest as you approached the closed door. You raised your hand, knuckles poised to rap against the wood, when you heard the muffled sound of raised voices from within.
Rafayel's voice, low and angry, cut through the silence. "I can't believe you're doing this, Celine. I thought we had an understanding."
Celine's voice, sharp and mocking, followed. "Circumstances change, darling. And you're hardly in a position to refuse me anything."
You froze, your hand hovering inches from the door as you strained to hear more. But the voices fell silent, a tense, heavy quiet descending upon the office.
With a deep breath, you knocked firmly on the door, your nerves on edge. "Rafayel? It's me. I'm going to step out for a bit, maybe do some shopping. I'll call you when I'm done, alright?"
As you approached the office door, ready to knock once more, Celine emerged from within. She stepped out, her heels clicking on the hardwood floor as she paused, looking you up and down with a critical, almost disdainful eye.
Celine's gaze lingered on you for a long moment, a smirk playing at the corners of her painted lips. She lifted a hand, pretending to wipe at the corner of her mouth with a dainty finger, a mocking gesture that sent a chill down your spine.
She tsked softly, shaking her head as she stepped closer to you. There was a wicked glint in her green eyes, a cruel amusement that made your skin crawl.
"Look who it is. Rafayel's little pet, come to check on her master?"
Celine circled you like a shark, her heels clicking an ominous rhythm on the floor. She leaned in closer, her perfume washing over you, the scent cloying and overwhelming.
"I must say, darling, she purred, her breath hot against your ear. You don't look like you have what it takes to keep a man like Rafayel satisfied. I do hope you're not feeling...inadequate?"
She threw her head back and laughed, a harsh, grating sound that echoed through the gallery. The cruelty in her eyes was unmistakable, the malice behind her words impossible to ignore.
Celine smirked at your stunned silence, your obvious discomfort clearly amusing her. She took a step back, smoothing down her tailored suit jacket with a self-satisfied air.
"Well, this has been...enlightening," she commented, a mocking lilt to her voice. She glanced down at her manicured nails, picking at a nonexistent speck of lint.
"But I must go and clean myself up. All this...business can be so messy, don't you think?"
With a final, cruel smile thrown your way, Celine turned on her heel and sauntered off, disappearing down the hallway towards the restrooms, leaving you standing there, your mind reeling.
With a sense of trepidation and growing unease, you pushed open the office door, the hinges creaking softly as it swung inward. As you stepped inside, your gaze fell upon Rafayel, seated behind the large mahogany desk that dominated the room.
He looked up as you entered, his purple-pink eyes meeting yours. There was a weariness in his expression, a tension in his shoulders that spoke of the difficult conversation he had just endured. The room was filled with a heavy, charged silence, the air thick with the weight of unspoken words and secrets.
"Don't let her get to you. Celine is...a complicated part of my past. But you don't need to worry about her.
"Is she now?" You ask, " well since she thinks I'm not good enough to keep you satisfied I think I know what kind of relationship you had"
Rafayel's eyes flashed with a mix of anger and hurt at your accusation. He leaned forward, bracing his elbows on the desk as he fixed you with an intense, almost accusing stare. The air between you crackled with tension, the weight of your words hanging heavily in the space.
He was silent for a long moment, his jaw clenching and unclenching as he seemed to struggle with how to respond. When he finally spoke, his voice was low and tight, tinged with a bitterness you had never heard before.
"You think you know, but you have no idea," he bit out, his words sharp and cutting. "Celine and I...we had a business arrangement. Nothing more.
He paused, his eyes searching yours as if trying to gauge your reaction. There was a vulnerability in his gaze, a raw honesty that made your heart ache.
Rafayel leaned back in his chair, a smirk playing at the corners of his mouth as he studied your jealous expression. His eyes glinted with a mix of amusement and something else, something darker and more intense.
"You're jealous, aren't you?" he murmured, a teasing lilt to his voice even as his gaze remained serious. "you think I can't see it written all over your face, my love?"
He stood slowly, rising to his feet and rounding the desk until he stood before you. His hand came up to cup your cheek, his thumb brushing lightly over your lower lip as he tilted your chin up to meet his gaze.
As you turned to leave, unable to bear the tension and uncertainty any longer, Rafayel's hand shot out and caught your wrist in a firm grip. He pulled you back towards him, his eyes flashing with a sudden intensity.
"Where do you think you're going, cutie?" he asked, a dangerous edge to his voice. Before you could respond, he had already crossed the room and closed the office door with a sharp click.
"I don't think I'm done with you just yet. We need to talk about this little...outburst of jealousy"
He stepped closer, backing you up until your back hit the door. His hands came up to grip your hips, pulling your body flush against his as he gazed down at you with a mix of amusement and something else, something darker and more primal.
"Tell me, y/n", he whispered, his lips brushing against your ear. "Do you really think so little of me? Of us? I thought you knew me better than that... But it seems I was wrong."
Rafayel's hands slid down to grip the backs of your thighs, his fingers digging into your flesh as he lifted you effortlessly. He carried you towards the desk, sweeping aside the clutter of papers and art supplies before setting you down on the polished wood surface.
He stepped between your parted legs, his hands coming to rest on your knees as he leaned in close, his face mere inches from yours. The desk creaked softly beneath your combined weight, the sound echoing in the tense silence of the office.
His hands slid slowly up your thighs, his thumbs tracing teasing circles on the sensitive skin just below the hem of your skirt. He was close enough that you could feel the heat radiating off his body, could see the pulse jumping in his throat as he stared you down.
"I won't have you doubting me, doubting us", he said softly, but there was a steely undercurrent to his words. "Now, pretty...what makes you think you know the true nature of my relationship with Celine? What makes you think you know anything at all about the man you claim to love?"
As you began to stammer out an explanation, Rafayel silenced you by suddenly reaching between your thighs. His fingers deftly pushed your skirt up and out of the way, and in one sharp, aggressive motion, he ripped your panties clean off, the flimsy fabric tearing like tissue paper in his grasp.
You gasped, your body jolting at the sudden, intimate contact and the brutal destruction of your undergarment. Rafayel's eyes flashed with a wild, almost feral light as he watched your reaction, a smirk playing at the corners of his mouth.
"Shhhhh", he hushed you, his fingers already delving beneath the tattered remains of your panties to stroke along your most sensitive flesh. "No more words out of your pretty mouth, my love. No more words at all."
He pushed your thighs further apart, making room for himself as he stepped even closer, the hard, muscular length of his body pressing against yours. His hand cupped your sex possessively, his thumb finding your clit and circling the tender bud with a maddening, teasing pressure.
Rafayel's hands gripped your ankles, pushing your feet up and outwards until your knees bent and your legs fell open, fully exposing you to his hungry gaze. Your skirt, now bunched up around your waist, left you bare and vulnerable, the tattered remnants of your ruined panties dangling off one ankle.
He drank in the sight of your naked, glistening sex, his eyes darkening with lust and a possessive intensity that made your heart race. Slowly, deliberately, he leaned down, his breath hot and heavy against your most intimate flesh.
He leaned in and dragged the flat of his tongue along your slit, his hands gripping your hips hard enough to bruise. He licked a long, slow stripe from your entrance up to your clit, his tongue circling the sensitive bud before sucking it into his mouth with a low, approving groan.
"You taste like heaven" he murmured against your flesh, his words muffled and distorted by his greedy mouthing at your sex.
" Raf.....the door isn't locked" you warn him.
Rafayel paused briefly in his ministrations, glancing up at you with a wicked, almost defiant grin. He seemed not at all concerned by the possibility of being caught in such a compromising position.
"Let them come," he challenged, a reckless edge to his voice. "Let the whole fucking world see me claiming what's mine. I don't care anymore."
With that, he dove back in, his mouth latching onto your sex with a hunger that bordered on feral. His tongue pushed inside you, thrusting deep and hard, fucking you with a intensity that stole your breath.
One hand released your hip to slide up your body, pushing your shirt out of the way to expose your breasts. He palmed the soft mounds, his fingers sinking into the supple flesh as he rolled and plucked at your nipples.
Rafayel lifted his head, his lips glistening with your essence as he stared up at you with a wicked, challenging grin. He seemed to relish the idea of being caught in such a compromising position, of giving the world a peek into the dark, passionate side of his nature.
"The walls are thin here", he murmured, his voice low and rough with lust. "So it's up to you cutie, Do we keep your sweet cries of pleasure to ourselves...or do we let everyone outside hear just how much you love being fucked by me?"
As Rafayel's fingers pinched and rolled your nipple almost painfully, and his teeth clamped down hard on your sensitive clit, you could no longer hold back the tide of pleasure that crashed over you. A loud, wanton scream tore from your throat, echoing off the thin walls of the office and no doubt carrying out into the hallway beyond.
"Fuck, yes!" Rafayel growled in approval as he felt your body convulse beneath him, your juices flooding his mouth and chin. He lapped at you greedily, his tongue delving deep to catch every drop of your essence as he pushed you ruthlessly through your intense climax.
In a sudden, aggressive motion, Rafayel flipped you over onto your stomach on the desk. He pressed your chest down against the cool, smooth wood, the air forcing out of your lungs in a rush. Before you could catch your breath, he had already gripped your hips and tugged them back, bending you at the waist and exposing your bare, dripping sex to his hungry gaze.
"Fuck, look at this ass", he growled, his hands kneading and squeezing the round globes roughly. "Such a perfect, fuckable ass. It's a crime to keep it hidden away"
He punctuated his words by delivering a sharp smack to one cheek, the sound of the impact echoing through the room. The sting quickly gave way to a warm, tingling pleasure that spread through your nerves, making you clench and tighten around nothing.
With that, he gripped the base of his thick, hard cock and rubbed the leaking tip teasingly along your slit. He coated himself in your juices, mixing them with the bead of precum that oozed from his slit. Then, with one hard, ruthless thrust, he buried himself inside your tight, clutching heat.
"Fuck, so fucking tight," he grunted, his hips flush against your ass as he savored the feel of your walls gripping him like a vice. "Such a perfect fucking fit for my cock. Like you were made just for me..."
Rafayel began to move, his hips pulling back until just the tip of his cock remained inside you, before slamming forward and burying himself to the hilt once more. He set a hard, fast pace, the desk creaking and shaking beneath you with each powerful thrust of his hips.
Your face was pressed into the smooth wood, drool already beginning to pool and drip from the corner of your slack mouth. The sensation of being so thoroughly taken, so completely at the mercy of Rafayel's lust and desire, was overwhelming. It was almost too much, too intense.
Rafayel grabbed your arms, pulling them up and bending them at the elbows to either side of your head. He placed your palms flat against the desk, giving you something to hold onto as he continued his relentless, pounding assault on your pussy.
"Hold on tight, cutie", he growled, his voice strained with exertion and lust. "You're going to need to brace yourself for what comes next. I'm not going to hold back, not anymore."
Rafayel kept up his relentless pace, pounding into you with a single-minded determination. But despite the intensity of his thrusts and the building pleasure, he somehow avoided hitting that one special spot inside you that always sent you hurtling over the edge. It was as if he could read your mind, could sense your impending release, and was deliberately denying you that final push.
"Punishing you," he murmured, his voice a low, dark rumble in your ear. "Teasing you, making you beg so sweetly for something I can give you...but won't. Not yet."
"Don't you dare come until I say you can," he ordered, his voice a harsh, dominating bark. "You don't get to come until I've had my fill...until I've pumped this greedy cunt full of my seed and marked you as mine"
You found yourself begging, unable to hold back the desperate pleas that spilled from your lips. Your voice was high and thin, strained with the effort of holding back your rapidly approaching climax, of keeping your body from seizing control.
"Please, Rafayel, please!" you cried out, your fingers scrabbling against the smooth wood of the desk as you tried to find purchase, to anchor yourself against the overwhelming sensation. "Please, I need...I need to come. I can't...please, Rafayel!"
Tears of frustration and desperation pricked at the corners of your eyes, your body shaking and trembling beneath Rafayel's ruthless onslaught. You were completely at his mercy, completely under his control. And in that moment, you knew you would do anything, say anything, to earn the release you so desperately craved.
He leaned down, his chest pressing against your back, his lips finding your ear. When he spoke, his voice was a low, dark rasp, each word deliberately enunciated.
"Don't. Ever. Doubt. Me."
He punctuated each word with a sharp, precise thrust of his hips, driving his cock deep inside you, grinding against that maddeningly elusive spot just out of reach. Your body shook and trembled, tears leaking from your clenched eyes as you bit your lip hard enough to draw blood, trying to stifle your increasingly desperate moans.
"Im. Yours."
Thrust.
"Completely. And. Totally."
Thrust.
"Yours"
Thrust
"So you'll wait. You'll wait until I give you permission. Until I grant you the release you so desperately crave. Until then...you'll take what I give you. Understand?"
He emphasized his demand with a particularly brutal thrust, his pelvis slamming against your ass, his cock buried to the hilt inside your clutching heat. He remained still for a long moment, his breath hot and heavy against your neck, his heart pounding against your back.
"Tell me you understand y/n"
As soon as the words "I do" left your lips, Rafayel let out a low growl of satisfaction. He angled your hips just so, tilting them up and back to align your body perfectly with his. And then, with a ferocity that stole your breath, he began to pound into that sweet spot deep inside you.
"Yes, just like that", he rasped, his voice strained with the effort of holding back his own release.
"That's it, baby", he encouraged, his hips never faltering in their relentless rhythm. "I can feel you getting close. I can feel your pussy clenching around me, trying to suck me in deeper. You're so fucking close, aren't you? Ready to explode like a fucking firework?"
He angled your hips again, changing the angle slightly, and suddenly you could feel the tension in your body pulling tighter, the coil wound to its breaking point. Your breath came in ragged, desperate gasps, your fingers scrabbling against the desk as you tried to find purchase, to anchor yourself against the tidal wave of sensation threatening to sweep you away.
"Come for me, pretty girl", Rafayel demanded, his voice a low, dark command. "Come screaming my name, so everyone knows who makes you feel this fucking good. Now, fucking do it!"
With a final, brutal thrust, he buried himself balls-deep inside you, his cock pulsing and throbbing as he finally allowed his own release to overtake him. Thick, scalding ropes of his seed painted your insides, marking you, claiming you as his own as he filled you with his essence.
The sensation of his hot cum flooding your core pushed you over the edge, your body seizing and convulsing beneath his as you came harder than you ever had before. Your scream of ecstasy echoed off the thin walls, no doubt alerting everyone in the vicinity to your shared climax.
As the intense waves of your shared climax began to ebb, Rafayel collapsed against your back, his weight pressing you down into the desk. You both panted and gasped for air, bodies slick with sweat, hearts racing in tandem as you struggled to regain your composure.
After a long moment, Rafayel rolled off of you, his softening cock slipping from your dripping cunt. He gathered you into his arms, holding you close as he pulled you up to sit on the edge of the desk. Your legs were shaky, and you leaned against him for support, not trusting your own balance just yet.
"Look at the mess we made," he murmurs, his voice still rough and strained. He gestures to the desk, streaked with your combined fluids, and the floor, splattered with the evidence of your passionate coupling.
"But it was worth it. Fuck, was it ever worth it. I love you, y/n," he whispers against your lips, his breath mingling with yours. "And I will spend the rest of my life making sure you never forget it."
As you both stepped out of the office, still flushed and disheveled from your passionate encounter, you find Celine waiting. The young woman's eyes were round as saucers, her face a deep shade of red as she no doubt processed the sounds she had just witnessed emanating from the closed door.
Rafayel barely spared her a glance as he strode past, his arm around your waist to keep you steady. He paused just before exiting the building and turned to face Celine, a wicked smirk playing at the corners of his mouth.
"Keep the paintings, Celine", he instructed, his voice still rough and low from their recent activities. "Our agreement is null and void, effective immediately. Consider this a parting gift, for your trouble."
Celine's mouth opened and closed a few times, as if trying to formulate a response, but no words came out. She looked stunned, her gaze flickering between you and Rafayel.
"And say hi to the family for me, dear cousin", Rafayel added with a mocking, almost cruel edge to his voice.
With that parting shot, he ushered you out into the brilliant sunlight, the warm air a stark contrast to the cool interior of the gallery.

THE CAMERA FLASHES were blinding, but you didn’t flinch. You had mastered this performance, smiling just wide enough and standing just close enough to Luke to make it believable. To the rest of the world, you were still that couple.
Liam was nestled in your arms, his small fingers curling into the fabric of your dress as he yawned. Luke had one hand resting on your back, the other adjusting the little Devils hat sitting atop Liam’s dark curls. A perfect family photo.
“You guys look amazing,” one of the photographers gushed. “Seriously, still the best-looking couple in the NHL.”
You forced a laugh. “Oh, stop,” you said, brushing a hand over Liam’s back.
Luke chuckled beside you, his voice smooth and relaxed. But only you knew it was rehearsed. “I mean, she makes it easy,” he teased, sending you a grin that made your stomach twist.
It was second nature now: pretending, smiling, playing the role of the wife who still adored her husband. For Liam’s sake, for Luke’s career, for the image you had spent years curating.
But the truth sat heavy in your chest behind the practiced smiles and forced public appearances.
Luke was no longer yours.
The car ride home was quiet. Liam had fallen asleep in his car seat, his little snores filling the silence. Luke was driving, one hand lazily gripping the wheel, the other tapping against his thigh.
“You okay?” he asked after a while, sparing you a glance.
You scoffed softly, looking out the window. “You really wanna ask me that?”
His fingers clenched around the wheel. “Look, I know—”
“Do you?” you cut in, turning to face him. “Because I don’t think you do, Luke.”
His jaw tightened, and for a moment, he said nothing. Just stared at the road ahead like if he looked at you, he’d have to face what he did.
What he ruined.
You exhaled sharply, shaking your head. “I just—I keep thinking about it. How long did it take before she became the one you turned to instead of me?”
“Come on, don’t do this,” he muttered, running a hand through his hair.
“No, I wanna know.” Your voice wavered, but you pushed through. “Was it when I was up all night with Liam while you were on the road? Or was it when I told you I felt like we were losing each other and you said I was overthinking it?”
Luke swallowed hard, his knuckles white on the wheel. “It wasn’t like that.”
“Then what was it like?”
Silence.
You let out a bitter laugh. “Right. Thought so.”
Luke sighed, pressing his lips together like he was debating his next words carefully. “I never meant to hurt you.”
You turned back toward the window, the streetlights blurring together as tears welled in your eyes. “Yeah, well. You did.”
Pretending was easier in front of Liam.
At four years old, he was too young to understand why Mommy and Daddy were different now. Why there were nights Luke didn’t come home and why your smiles didn’t reach your eyes anymore.
So you did what you had to. Held Luke’s hand at Liam’s hockey practices. Sat beside him at team events. Let him kiss your temple when cameras were near, even when the touch burned.
And when Liam was asleep, when the house was quiet, you sat on opposite ends of the bed, drowning in unspoken words. Drowning in what could have been.
You still loved him. God, you still loved him.
But he had chosen someone else.
Maybe not in the way that left lipstick stains on his collar or unfamiliar perfume on his skin. But he had given parts of himself, parts that were yours, to another woman. And that was something you couldn’t forgive.
Not now.
Maybe not ever.
A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER
Liam had been asleep for over an hour, his favourite stuffed dinosaur tucked under his arm, the steady rise and fall of his little chest the only thing keeping you grounded. You had stayed by his bedside longer than necessary, just watching him, tracing the soft curls at his temple with gentle fingers.
Because once you left his room, once you stepped back into the reality of your marriage, the silence would be suffocating again.
And it was.
Luke was in the kitchen when you finally emerged, leaning against the counter, scrolling through his phone. His head lifted when he heard your footsteps, but whatever was in his eyes disappeared before you could catch it.
“Liam go down okay?” His voice was casual, like you were just two people coexisting, like there wasn’t an ocean of resentment between you.
You nodded, moving toward the fridge just for something to do, some excuse not to meet his gaze. “Yeah. He was exhausted.”
Luke hummed in response. Another stretch of silence. You grabbed a bottle of water, twisted the cap, and took a sip. Your wedding band caught the light as you moved, and for a brief moment, you hated the way it still sat so comfortably on your finger.
“I was thinking of taking him to the rink this weekend,” Luke said finally. “Get some ice time in, just the two of us.”
You swallowed hard. You had once loved watching them together, father and son, sharing something that was so deeply ingrained in Luke’s DNA. But now, every moment that didn’t include you felt like a reminder that you weren’t part of Luke’s world anymore. Not really.
“That’s fine,” you said evenly, setting the bottle down with more force than necessary.
Luke sighed, running a hand through his hair. “Can we—” He stopped, shaking his head. “Never mind.”
You let out a sharp laugh, humourless. “Right. Because talking is something we’re great at these days.”
His jaw tensed. “What do you want me to say?”
“I don’t know, Luke. Maybe something that actually means something?” Your voice was rising now, but you didn’t care. “Because I’m tired. I’m so tired of pretending everything is fine when we both know it’s not.”
Luke exhaled slowly, staring at the floor like it held all the answers. “I never wanted this.”
You let that sink in. “Neither did I.”
And yet, here you were.
Luke didn’t move. Didn’t speak. Just stood there, staring at you like he was trying to piece together the right thing to say. Like there was a right thing to say.
But there wasn’t.
You shook your head, stepping back. “You don’t get to act like this is some tragic accident, Luke. Like this just happened to us.” Your voice wavered, but you kept going. “You made a choice. You kept making that choice.”
His jaw clenched, and for the first time tonight, something in his expression cracked. “I never meant to—”
“Don’t.” The word was sharp, slicing through the air between you. “Don’t tell me you never meant to hurt me. That doesn’t change the fact that you did.”
Luke ran a hand down his face, exhaling roughly. “I just—” He shook his head, like he couldn’t even explain it to himself. “I felt like I was drowning, and she—”
Your stomach twisted. “She what?”
He hesitated.
You let out a hollow laugh. “Go on. Say it.”
Luke’s eyes met yours, desperate and full of something you weren’t sure you recognized anymore. “She listened. She understood.”
And there it was.
You inhaled sharply, looking away. “Right.”
He took a step forward, but you didn’t move. “It wasn’t about her,” he insisted. “It was about us. About how we stopped—”
“Stopped what?” you snapped, meeting his gaze again. “Stopped trying? Stopped making you feel special? Stopped putting you first?”
Luke flinched, and a bitter part of you relished it. Because God, the hypocrisy.
“I gave you everything,” you whispered. “I fought for us. Even when you started pulling away, even when I felt like I was losing you, I held on.” You swallowed hard, voice thick. “But I was holding on alone.”
Luke looked like he wanted to argue. To fix it. But it was too late for that.
“You want to know the worst part?” you asked, your voice quieter now. “It’s not that you betrayed me. It’s that you needed her more than you needed me.”
Silence.
Luke’s face crumbled, and for a second, he looked like the boy you fell in love with. The one who used to kiss you like you were the only thing keeping him upright. The one who promised forever.
But forever was an illusion.
You let out a breath, forcing yourself to meet his gaze one last time. “I don’t think I can do this anymore.”
Luke’s lips parted, panic flashing across his face. “You don’t mean that.”
But you did.
Luke shook his head, stepping closer, his voice tight with desperation. “No. We can fix this.”
You laughed, but there was no humour in it. “How, Luke?”
“We just—” He exhaled sharply, dragging a hand through his hair. “We just keep going. We don’t give up. We have Liam, we have—” His voice cracked. “We have us.”
You swallowed hard.
Because that was the thing, wasn’t it? There was no us anymore.
But there was Liam.
There was the life you had built, the picture-perfect family the world knows and loves. If you walked away now, if you stopped pretending, it would all come crashing down.
Liam would start asking questions. The media would speculate. Your carefully constructed life would become something for people to pick apart.
And you weren’t ready for that.
Not yet.
So you inhaled, steadying yourself. Forced the words back down, shoved the pain into the same locked box where you had been keeping it for months.
Luke watched you, waiting for the final blow. But instead, you did what you had always done.
You smoothed out the edges.
You forced a breath, forced a nod. “Okay.”
Luke blinked, like he hadn’t expected that answer. “Okay?”
You met his gaze, ignoring the way your stomach twisted at the flicker of hope in his eyes. “We keep going.”
Something in his shoulders sagged. “We can make it work.”
You didn’t agree. Didn’t disagree. Just took another breath and nodded again.
Because this was what you did.
You smiled for the cameras. Held his hand at events. Sat beside him at Liam’s practices, feeling his knee brush against yours, pretending the touch didn’t make your skin crawl.
You kept up the performance.
Even when it hurt.

~Touch~
𐙚— pairing: Paige x Azzi
𐙚— rosie’s note: this was written in like 25 min, not my best but something to read while i work on other requests and the rmh series, i’ll most likely have something out tmr before or after the game so be patient with me please! happy reading lovelies 💌
𐙚— themes: slight sexual content
𐙚— links: rosie’s bookshelf
Touch.
A simple word, but never just one thing.
Touch can be fleeting, an accidental brush of fingertips, a casual press of a hand against a shoulder. It can be comfort, the kind of familiarity that makes a person feel at home. It can be possessive, lingering, a wordless claim spoken through the slide of palms and the press of bodies.
There are so many types of touch. The friendly, casual touch that everyone uses—hugs, high-fives, pats on the back. The accidental touch that lingers too long—someone brushing against you in a crowded room, fingers grazing your arm as they reach for something. But then there’s the other kind. The kind that says something without words, that carries weight in every second it lasts. The kind that isn’t about comfort, but about wanting. Needing.
Touch can be anything. But when it comes to Paige Bueckers, it’s everything.
She’s always been like this, always had the need to be close—to feel, to connect. A hand at the small of someone’s back, an arm thrown around a shoulder, fingers idly tracing patterns against exposed skin. It’s not even a conscious thing most of the time. It’s just her.
At least, that’s how it is with everyone. But with Azzi? With Azzi, it’s different. More.
It’s absentminded most of the time, the way Paige’s hand finds the small of Azzi’s back when they walk side by side. Or how she tugs on the hem of Azzi’s hoodie when she wants attention, thumb grazing the fabric long after she has it. How she tucks herself into Azzi’s side during film, arms folded, cheek pressed against her shoulder. It’s normal. Easy. Something that could be passed off as nothing if not for the sheer consistency of it.
And Azzi—Azzi lets her. Maybe because she’s used to it, maybe because it’s Paige and she’s never questioned it before. But maybe, just maybe, it’s because she likes it.
Maybe she always has.
Like now, when they’re sitting on Paige’s bed, post-practice exhaustion settling into their bones. Paige sprawls out beside Azzi, back against the headboard, knee knocking into Azzi’s thigh. Her hand rests lazily on Azzi’s knee, fingers tracing slow, mindless circles through the fabric of her sweatpants. It’s not unusual. But then she shifts, her palm sliding higher and a little firmer. Azzi stills.
“Paige.”
Paige hums in acknowledgment but doesn’t move her hand. If anything, her fingers flex slightly, squeezing just enough for Azzi to notice.
Azzi exhales, eyes flicking down to the point of contact, then back up to Paige’s face. “You’re doing that thing again.”
Paige tilts her head, feigning innocence. “What thing?”
Azzi narrows her eyes. “You know what thing.”
Paige grins, slow and lazy. She lifts her hand, only to drag it back down, fingertips brushing against Azzi’s inner thigh this time. “Oh, you mean this?”
Azzi’s breath hitches. Paige’s touch is featherlight, teasing, and it sends a shiver down her spine. She doesn’t move away, doesn’t tell her to stop. And Paige—Paige notices.
“You never tell me to stop,” Paige murmurs, voice quieter now, more thoughtful.
Azzi swallows hard, pulse thrumming in her ears. Paige is close enough that she can feel her breath, warm against her cheek.
“Do you want me to?” Paige asks. A real question.
Azzi meets her gaze, searching, and finds something there—something unspoken, something waiting.
Paige’s free hand move, slow and teasing, slipping under the hem of Azzi’s hoodie, ghosting over bare skin. The touch is light, barely there, but it sets every nerve in Azzi’s body on fire.
“You gon stop me?” Paige murmurs, voice low, lips brushing against the sensitive skin just below Azzi’s ear.
Azzi should. She really should. But when Paige’s hands settle against her waist, fingers pressing firm against her skin, grounding her, claiming her—she doesn’t move.
She doesn’t want to.
Paige exhales a quiet laugh, like she already knew the answer, like she was just waiting for Azzi to admit it. And then she’s tilting her head, dragging her lips down Azzi’s neck, slow and deliberate. She lingers at her pulse point, nipping just enough to make Azzi shudder.
Azzi grips Paige’s arms, her nails digging in slightly. “Paige,” she breathes, half warning, half plea.
The blonde hums against her skin, unfazed, her hands sliding higher, fingers pressing into the dip of Azzi’s spine, her thumb brushing just beneath the band of her sports bra.
Azzi’s breath catches.
She should push Paige away. Should remind her that best friends don’t do this. But then Paige is gripping her hips, pulling her in so their bodies are flush, her thigh slotting between Azzi’s like it belongs there, and Azzi—Azzi can’t think straight anymore.
Paige presses closer, her nose brushing against Azzi’s jaw before she tilts her head, capturing her lips without hesitation, without pretense.
Azzi melts before she can stop herself.
The kiss is slow, deep, like Paige has all the time in the world to unravel her, like she enjoys taking her apart piece by piece. And Azzi lets her.
Paige’s hands tighten against her waist, guiding her, keeping her exactly where she wants her. Her lips move with intent, teasing, testing, before she bites down gently on Azzi’s bottom lip, pulling slightly, then letting go.
Azzi lets out a shaky breath, her fingers gripping the fabric of Paige’s hoodie. Azzi doesn’t respond right away, not because she doesn’t want to, but because the way Paige touches her has her breathless, her thoughts jumbled and her pulse racing.
Paige presses her thigh harder between Azzi’s legs, forcing a small gasp from her. Her hands trail down to Azzi’s hips, then slide lower, fingertips brushing the waistband of her shorts.
Azzi swallows hard, eyes fluttering shut as she feels the pressure build, the heat pooling between her thighs, making her ache for more. “Paige…” she breathes, her voice shaky, a mix of longing and hesitation.
But Paige doesn’t stop. She never does.
“I got you, Az,” she murmurs against her skin, her voice low and soothing, even as her hands wander further, claiming Azzi’s body with every touch.
Azzi’s breath catches in her throat, her heart thudding faster. She’s never felt anything like this—so alive, so attuned to Paige’s every move.
“Don’t fight it,” Paige whispers, her lips brushing Azzi’s ear as her hands slip beneath the fabric of Azzi’s shorts and panties. “Just relax , Az. Let me take care of you.”
Azzi’s hands find their way to Paige’s back, fingers pressing into her muscles, pulling her closer. “I don’t—” she starts, but Paige’s lips are on hers again, silencing any protest.
It’s like time slows as Paige deepens the kiss, her fingers running up and down Azzi’s wetness. Azzi can feel the weight of every moment building between them, She can’t think—can’t focus—only feel.
Paige doesn’t rush. She moves her fingers in tight circles around Azzis clit, making the brunette let out a whimper, her free hand exploring Azzi’s back, her lips marking Azzi’s skin, her breath warm against her neck. She knows what she’s doing, knows how to make Azzi fall apart, bit by bit, without even trying.
Azzi can’t stop herself anymore, her body leaning into Paige’s touch, pressing against her, needing her closer. She wants more.
But Paige? Paige is in control.
She pulls back for a moment, eyes locking with Azzi’s, dark with desire. “You want me to keep going?” she asks, voice teasing, knowing the effect she has on her.
Azzi can barely find her voice, but she manages to nod, lips trembling. “Yes…please.”
Paige grins, her fingers moving again now thrusting into Azzi’s tight hole, slow and deliberate. “Good girl.”
Azzi feels the heat rise in her chest, a blush creeping up her neck as she tries to steady her breathing. She’s never been this open, this vulnerable, and she’s not sure when that happened—but it’s Paige, and she trusts her.
Her world narrows to just this—just Paige, just touch. It’s all-consuming, a tide of sensation she can’t escape, and part of her doesn’t want to.
“God, you’re so beautiful,” Paige whispers, her words like a soft caress as she speeds up her pace, her thumb now rubbing Azzi’s clit hard. “You have no idea how much I-.”
Azzi cutting her off with a choked moan, her body trembling as she pulls Paige back into a kiss, this time desperate, hungry. She needs to feel this, needs to feel her more.
And when Paige pulls back, Azzi can’t help but whine, not wanting to lose the contact, the closeness, the electric pulse that’s been building between them.
“Shh,” Paige murmurs, brushing her thumb across Azzi’s lips. “I’ve got you.”

i was wondering if you could write spencer x reader, where she’s having a really bad day but spencer is coming home from a case and is exhausted, mentally and physically so she feels guilty that she would bother him with her mood
So she just hides away and is on the verge of a panic attack and spencer finds her and is all “you save me, so pls let me save you” and just comforts her (and calls her angel because 🫠)
thankyouuu so much (you dont have to do it if you dont want! no pressure at all!) i love your writing, it’s so incredibly cute and endearing <3
exhaustion — spencer reid
pairing: spencer reid x fem!reader ( no use of y/n ) content warnings: reader crying a lot , reader feeling guilty / tired / exhausted, spencer calls reader angel a/n: hii thank you so much for your request !! i hope you like this <3
The apartment was quiet—too quiet. You sat on the couch, curled up in one corner, staring blankly at the empty space in front of you. The TV was off, the big overhead light was off, and the only light came from the small lamp on the side table.
You hadn’t moved in what felt like hours, your mind swirling with the events of the day. It had been one of those days—the kind where nothing went right, where every little thing seemed to pile up until you felt like you were drowning under the weight of it all.
You missed Spencer. A lot. Especially right now.
He had a way of making everything feel better. You longed for his comforting hugs and the way he’d listen to you ramble about your day.
But he wasn’t here. He was at work, buried under mountains of paperwork and case files.
The sound of keys jingling in the lock snapped you out of your thoughts. You jumped up from the couch, your heart leaping in your chest as you hurried to the door.
Spencer stepped inside, looking disheveled and exhausted. His tie was loosened, his hair was a mess, and there were dark circles under his eyes. He dropped his bag by the door with a heavy thud, and before you could say a word, he pulled you into a tight hug.
You melted into his embrace, your arms wrapping around his neck as you buried your face in his shoulder. He smelled like coffee and faintly of paper. For a moment, you just stood there, holding each other.
“I missed you,” Spencer mumbled into your hair, his voice muffled but sincere. His hands rubbed soothing circles on your back.
“I missed you too,” you whispered, your voice barely audible. You didn’t want to let go, but after a moment, he pulled back slightly, his hands moving to cradle your face. His thumbs brushed gently over your cheeks.
“Today was horrible,” he said with a sigh, his shoulders slumping as he let go of you to shrug off his jacket. He ran a hand through his hair, looking more tired than you’d seen him in a long time.
You bit your lip, hesitating. “What happened?” you asked softly, following him as he moved further into the apartment.
He sighed again, sinking onto the couch and leaning forward, his elbows resting on his knees. “Just… paperwork. So much paperwork. And then Garcia’s computer crashed, so we lost half the files we needed, and Hotch wanted everything reorganized by tomorrow morning…” He trailed off, shaking his head. “It was just one thing after another.”
You sat down next to him, your heart aching as you watched him. He looked so drained, so unlike his usual self, and you felt a pang of guilt for even thinking about burdening him with your own problems.
Today had been hard for you, but it sounded like it had been even harder for him. The last thing you wanted was to add to his stress.
So instead of talking about your day, you reached out and took his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. “I’m sorry,” you said quietly. “That sounds awful.”
He gave you a small, tired smile, his fingers intertwining with yours. “It’s okay. It’s just… one of those days, you know?”
You nodded, your throat tightening. You did know.
But you couldn’t bring yourself to tell him. Instead, you shifted closer, pulling him into another hug. He leaned into you, his head resting on your shoulder as you ran your fingers through his hair.
“How was your day?” Spencer mumbled, his voice soft and drowsy as he leaned back against the couch, pulling you with him.
You settled against his side, his head still resting on your shoulder as your fingers continued to gently card through his hair.
The question caught you off guard, and you hesitated for a moment, your hand stilling briefly before you forced yourself to keep moving.
“It was… good,” you said, your voice carefully neutral. You tried to inject a note of cheerfulness into your tone, but it came out sounding hollow, even to your own ears.
Spencer hummed against your shoulder, seemingly too tired to notice the slight falter in your voice. “I’m glad,” he murmured, his words muffled as he nuzzled closer to you. His warmth was comforting, but it did little to ease the tightness in your chest.
After a moment, he shifted, pressing a soft kiss to your temple before slowly sitting up. “I’m going to get changed,” he said, his voice still heavy with exhaustion.
He gave your hand a gentle squeeze before standing and heading toward the bedroom, leaving you alone on the couch.
As soon as he was out of sight, the lump in your throat returned, thicker and more suffocating than before. You bit your lip hard, trying to hold back the tears that had been threatening to spill all evening.
But it was no use. The dam broke, and before you could stop yourself, you were on your feet, hurrying toward the bathroom.
You shut the door behind you with a soft click, leaning against it as the first tear slipped down your cheek. Then another. And another.
Soon, you were crying , your shoulders shaking as you tried to stifle the sobs that threatened to escape. You muttered curses under your breath, frustrated with yourself for not being able to hold it together.
“Get it together,” you whispered harshly, pressing the heels of your hands against your eyes. But the tears wouldn’t stop.
The tears kept running, your shoulders shaking as you tried to stifle the sobs that threatened to escape.
You felt like a mess, your face hot and your chest tight. But just as you were about to try to pull yourself together, you heard footsteps outside the bathroom door, followed by a soft knock.
“Hey,” Spencer’s voice came through the door, gentle and concerned. “Can I come in?”
You froze, your breath catching in your throat. You didn’t know what to do. Part of you wanted to tell him to go away, to spare him from seeing you like this, but another part of you desperately needed him.
You muttered a curse under your breath, wiping at your face with the back of your hand before slowly getting to your feet.
You opened the door just enough to peek out, your eyes meeting Spencer’s. He was standing there, his expression soft but worried. His hair was still a mess, but his eyes were focused entirely on you.
“Hey, hey,” he said immediately, stepping closer. “What’s wrong?”
You sniffled, your throat tightening as you tried to find the words. “I—” you started, but your voice broke, and you shook your head, unable to continue.
How could you even begin to explain? Everything was wrong. The entire day had been wrong, and now you felt like you were falling apart.
Spencer didn’t push. Instead, he reached out, his thumb brushing gently over your cheek, wiping away a tear. His touch was so tender that it only made you cry harder.
“Come on,” he said softly, his hand slipping down to take yours. He gave it a gentle squeeze before pulling you with him, leading you out of the bathroom and down the hallway.
You followed him numbly, your fingers intertwined with his as he guided you to the bedroom. He sat you down on the edge of the bed and knelt in front of you, his hands resting on your knees as he looked up at you, his eyes searching yours.
“Talk to me, angel,” he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper. “What’s going on?”
The nickname made your heart ache, and you shook your head, fresh tears spilling over. “I didn’t want to bother you,” you admitted, your voice trembling. “You had such a bad day, and I didn’t want to make it worse.”
Spencer’s expression softened, his hands moving to cradle your face. “You could never make my day worse,” he said firmly, his tone leaving no room for argument. “And you’re never a bother. Not to me. Not ever.”
You shook your head again, your hands gripping his wrists as you tried to steady yourself. “But you were so tired, and I didn’t want to—”
“Hey,” he interrupted gently, his thumbs brushing away your tears. “You save me, I save you. That’s how this works, remember?”
You nodded slowly, your breath hitching as more tears spilled over by just hearing those sweet words. Spencer leaned forward, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead before pulling you into his arms.
You went willingly, burying your face in his shoulder as he held you close. His hands rubbed soothing circles on your back, and you felt some of the tension in your chest begin to ease. After a while he slowly let go, but his hands remaining on your arms.
“Tell me about your day,” he said after a while, his voice soft but insistent. “What happened?”
You hesitated, but the way he was looking at you—so patient, so understanding—made it impossible to hold back. So you told him. You told him about everything that had gone wrong.
And he listened, his hands never leaving yours, his eyes never wavering from yours.
When you were done, he pulled you into his arms again, holding you tightly against his chest. “I’m sorry,” he murmured, his voice low and steady. “I’m sorry you had such a bad day. But I’m here now, okay? And I’m not going anywhere.”
You nodded, your face buried in his shoulder as you clung to him. For the first time all day, you felt like you could breathe again. Like maybe, just maybe, everything would be okay.
“Thank you,” you whispered, your voice muffled against his shirt.
Spencer pressed a kiss to the top of your head, his arms tightening around you. “Always, angel,” he said softly. “Always.”

AAVE used to bother me. Just bother me, not piss me off, not make me like, wanna kill or anything. Just, why can't they use the language 'properly'.
The woman who raised me was the most racist person I think I've ever met (why no, I have never been to the US south).
But it's funny, because in school, I loved studying the US public school version of how English came to be. We didn't really know about proto-Indoeuropean at the time, but we knew about the influence of ancient Greek and German on the English language. Being a big reader and writer, I was obsessed with using the language "correctly".
I stopped writing for a long time because of reasons, and I was able to step back and really appreciate the value of literacy but also appreciate that there is no Proper English. The thing we skipped over in high school English and language arts classes is that contemporary English is not the same language it was when it first recognizably departed from vulgar Latin and German. It's not the same language as it was before its brushes with French and surely the Celtic language group.
It's okay for spoken language to be different from written language (but it's still "could/should/would HAVE" NOT "c/s/w OF"; pronounce it however you like, but understand grammatically what you're saying if you caption your own videos).
Furthermore, while I'm up here on my soap box, I wish my English teachers would have talked about creoles and pidgins as they are: There's nothing wrong with creoles and pidgins. It is human nature to want to communicate and connect and language is an integral part of that connection. But perhaps telling us that using the language in a non-standard way would have required a whole separate class for like, English theory. It definitely would've had more kids complaining "why do I even need to know the rules if they're all bullshit anyway". Me loudest of all.
Since stepping away from my childhood creative writing practice, I've gotten to participate more in the verbal use of language, and my visual arts studies definitely contributed to the way I see English--a centuries old creole, a language that has always been absorbing and adapting the languages it encounters. The reason I mention my visual arts background is, you know that picture of the vase but it's also two faces? Being strong in written English was me focusing so hard on the vase, I thought people talking about two faces were like, morally decrepit. Slang comes and goes, but the classical core of the language is definitely always there. Definitely. Always.
The internet has been a fascinating component to add to the mix of the English language (being not fluent in any other languages, I cannot and would not speak to the internet's impact on, say, ASL, US Spanish, or French, the only three languages that I'm familiar enough with to try to use on another human). Most of the evolution of the English language has typically come from teenaged girls, if my information is correct. Definitely, unquestionably teenagers. And in the last few years, we see every several weeks, a new slang word--yeet, bussin, ATE (whatever the hell that is)--enters the greater lexicon (we need to be able to communicate with these damn sacrilegious teens somehow!). The world moves so fast for these teenagers, today's 'ate' is literally yesterday's 'crunk'. It's 'cringe', if you will, by the time the adults get ahold of it. We do kind of need to hold onto some kind of core skeleton of the English language so that the oldest and most out of touch of us can still communicate with the linguistically hippest of us. In this regard, at least understanding the 'traditional' use and structure of the language since the shift from Middle English, and not necessarily being versed in prepositions versus passive language, is going to be important when trying to communicate from one group (let's say teens) to another group (let's say Louisiana creole).
And sometimes, the slang the adults get ahold of sticks--in contemporary history 'dude', 'whatever' as a one-word sentence, and 'my bad', are some examples. It's hard to tell which of 2025's slang words will have engraved itself so hard into the fabric of the English language that we're still using it in 2050, but even the words that are here today cringe in five minutes will leave their invisible mark on the ever continuing evolution of the English language.
Umm, anyway, sorry. I got a little eager to celebrate the English language as it actually is, not as it is in classic literature.
Even the teenage, rebellious use of the language (what even the fuck is skibidi??), while it bothers me because these days, it's less about differentiating yourself from boring grown-ups and I'm pretty sure, from a non-linguist perspective, just using language in as incomprehensible manner as possible as a bit. I respect the desecration of the English language; I'm quite confident that's what most of my peers wished they could do in high school English classes when we were learning about dumb, useless shit like superlative conjugates and coagulative transitives or whatever the fuck (for such a strong writer with an easily identifiable written voice in high school, I failed high school grammar. I found it incomprehensible and useless; I already had a powerful grasp of the way to use the English language, out loud and on paper. I didn't need to explain to anybody why you order adjectives the way you do; you just do).
See that, right there? I just did it. I just admitted that I don't find any use for the jargon of the "laws" of the English language. Because language is just a tool for communicating. As long as I can speak to you and you have even generally a vague idea of what I want (like my problem with 'ate' isn't *rolls my eyes* kids these days; my problem is, what is the etymology?? Why are you using that word like thhhaaaatttttttt *tries to shake an answer out of you*), I care less every day how anyone uses the language (except for c/sh/would OF vs HAVE I will bite you).
Now, (okay, sorry to carry on like this) as a creative writer, I am a straight-laced Dr Jekyll. Written language isn't about immediate communication. As far as I'm concerned, written language should be comprehensible between yourself and generations that don't exist yet. A dime novel may be meant to be read and thrown away, but even fifty years later, I should be able to pick up your cheap shitty writing and be able to read it and understand it. As far as I'm concerned, writing should not be littered with the slang of the moment. Like I said, today's 'skibidi' is tomorrow's 'jive turkey'. No, I did not make that up. I actually can't find one singular definition for jive turkey; it looks like there were at least three accepted ways to use it. I think it makes my point for me. If I write that John is a jive turkey, is he out of touch, is he unreliable or exaggerating, or is he being a showy dancer?
In my opinion, if you are educated enough to write essays, blogs, or more, you are educated enough to write in a way that will be comprehended by future generations of people who use your dialect. If that's Australian English (no shade, but you Aussies must know you use English differently from USians), if that's AAVE, if that's Louisiana creole, if that's US English, whatever.
In my opinion, the reason one makes the effort to write words (which is a different level from a Facebook or Twitter post or just making a phone call or sending a text), in a blog that will be gone in five years, in a cheap notebook that maybe you'll throw away, a nice journal that your great, great grand-daughter will find one day, or in that book that you self-published, is to preserve your words, your thoughts, in a way that will outlast 'apple butter' (smooth talk) and 'duck butt' (think Elvis' hair).
Plus, words on paper just should be beautiful. Imo.
not only are there no bad languages there are also no bad or annoying dialects
#thank you for coming to my TED lecture#language#linguistics#slang#evolution of language#English#essay#i forgot to mention#it's not your fault you have an accent#my brain is just dumb

first time shy bay reader takes down a unsub like fighting wise and the team is all like that tiny soft thing just did that
soft hands, strong heart warnings: cannon-typical violence, child kidnapping, happy ending!!! paring: hotch x shy!reader wc: 6.9k
I really took this and RAN I hope u enjoy despite how long it took to finish <3
||||
It's been a long day. You woke up late after a night of restless sleep, already cranky, only to take the jet to help with a child kidnapping.
The jet hums low beneath your feet, a steady, thrumming vibration that does little to soothe the exhaustion creeping up your spine. Your fingers tighten around the file in your lap, eyes scanning over the unsub’s profile again and again, as if some new revelation might emerge if you look hard enough.
The case is grim. They always are, but something about children going missing twists a deeper, more painful knot in your stomach. A six-year-old girl, last seen playing in her own backyard before vanishing without a trace. The parents had been inside, only distracted for a few minutes. Just long enough.
Just long enough.
You shift in your seat, forcing yourself to unclench your jaw. Across from you, Spencer mumbles statistics about abduction timelines, but his voice fades into the background, white noise alongside the engine. Morgan and JJ are discussing the search grid, Emily nodding along, throwing in suggestions. Rossi and Hotch are quiet, deep in thought, but you can feel the weight of their presence.
You’re normally content to listen, to observe, but something sits uneasily in your chest. The tiredness, the frustration, the sheer helplessness that simmers every time a child is taken. You want to do something.
"Landing in twenty," the pilot calls back.
You swallow, fingers tightening around the case file one last time before closing it. Twenty minutes until you hit the ground running. Twenty minutes until you find the first real clue.
Twenty minutes until you bring her home.
As soon as the wheels touch down, the tension in your chest tightens like a coil, winding and waiting. You barely notice the shuffle of your teammates gathering their things, their quiet discussions about strategy and protocol. Your mind is elsewhere—on the little girl’s photo still burned into the back of your eyelids, on the parents who must be unraveling with fear, on the horrifying reality that she could already be lost.
You take a slow breath and try to shake the thought.
You’ve been doing this long enough to know that fear is useless if you let it swallow you whole. You need to focus. You need to trust the process.
The others move with ease, their routines carved into muscle memory. Morgan and Emily fall into step ahead, their hushed voices blending into the background noise. Reid flips through the file, lips moving soundlessly as he recites information under his breath. JJ is already on the phone, likely with the local PD, while Rossi speaks lowly with Hotch.
And then there’s you.
You feel the weight of your own presence—or lack thereof. You know you contribute, you know your skills are valuable, but you can’t shake the nagging feeling that you’re always just a few steps behind them. Not as seasoned as Rossi, not as commanding as Hotch, not as sharp as Spencer or as fearless as Morgan.
A breath. Then another.
You push forward, following them down the jet stairs into the thick summer heat. The moment the air hits you, heavy and humid, it cements something in your bones.
This isn’t about you.
It’s about the little girl who needs you to be better than your doubts.
You wipe your palms against your pants and fall in step beside Hotch, listening as he updates the team.
“The local PD has set up a command center near the family’s home,” he says, his voice steady, unshaken. “The father is cooperative. The mother is distraught, but JJ will work with her. We’ll split up—Reid, Morgan, and Emily will coordinate with local officers to rework the search grid. Rossi and I will speak to the parents.”
You wait, knowing your name is coming last.
Glancing down at you, Hotch says, “you’re with me.”
Something tightens in your chest. He doesn’t offer an explanation, but he doesn’t need to. You know he trusts you to handle difficult conversations, to read between the lines of grief and guilt.
You nod, and just like that, the team breaks apart, each of you moving toward the unknown.
You don’t know what’s waiting for you at that house.
But you know you’ll be ready.
||||
The car ride is quiet, the kind of silence that isn’t uncomfortable but sits thick between you and Hotch, filled with unspoken thoughts. The distant hum of the siren-free police escort ahead of you blends with the rhythmic tap of his fingers against the steering wheel—measured, thoughtful. You let the movement lull you for a moment, eyes blinking slowly as exhaustion presses against the backs of them.
He notices. Of course, he does.
“You didn’t sleep well last night,” he says, not a question, just a statement. His voice is softer than it was during the briefing, less BAU Unit Chief and more Aaron.
Your head tilts toward the window as if that will shield you from the knowing look you can feel on you. “I’m fine,” you say, though even to your own ears, it sounds weak.
Hotch doesn’t press immediately. He never does. Instead, he lets the silence stretch, lets the words settle between you before he tries again. “You’re running on empty.” His voice is even, but there’s a thread of concern woven through it.
You swallow, unsure of what to say. Because he’s right. You’re running on the fumes of caffeine and resolve, and you know better than anyone that’s not sustainable. But what else are you supposed to do? Sleep through the knowledge that a child is missing? That time is slipping through your fingers with every second you waste on rest?
“I can handle it,” you say, quieter this time, as if that will make it more true.
Hotch sighs, glancing at you briefly before returning his focus to the road. His jaw is set, but there’s no frustration in his expression—just understanding.
“I know you can,” he says, because he does. He’s seen you push through exhaustion before, seen you carry the weight of cases without breaking. But that doesn’t mean he likes watching you do it. “That doesn’t mean you should have to.”
His words settle somewhere deep, somewhere vulnerable you don’t often acknowledge. It’s been a long time since anyone has told you it’s okay to take a breath. That you don’t have to bear everything alone.
Hotch keeps his eyes on the road, but his voice drops just enough that it feels like a secret meant only for you. “You don’t have to be invincible.”
Something in your chest pulls tight at that. You open your mouth to respond, to deflect, but nothing comes out. Because what are you supposed to say? That you don’t know how to let your guard down? That you’re afraid if you stop moving, even for a second, the weight of everything will catch up to you?
You don’t have to say anything.
Hotch already knows.
Without a word, his hand drifts from the gear shift to rest gently on your knee—brief, grounding, a quiet reassurance before he returns it to the wheel. It’s nothing, and it’s everything.
You don’t thank him, but he doesn’t need you to.
You just sit in the quiet, and for the first time all day, you let yourself breathe.
The silence stretches, thick and heavy. You let yourself sink into it, into the warmth of the car, into the soft hum of the tires against pavement. But reality is cruel, unwilling to let you drift too far, and Hotch is still the one beside you—ever watchful, ever focused. He lets you rest, but only for so long.
“We’re working against the clock.” His voice slices through the quiet, steady but firm. “Every hour that passes, the chances of recovery drop. The parents received the ransom demand at six this morning, which means the kidnapper has been in control for over twelve hours now.”
You blink against the haze clinging to your mind, forcing yourself to straighten. The exhaustion dulls, edged out by the weight of the case settling back onto your shoulders. You know all of this. The case was laid out in agonizing detail back at Quantico, in the rushed debrief on the jet, but hearing it again—like this, in the dim glow of the dashboard lights, with Hotch’s voice carving it into your mind—it makes the pressure feel suffocating.
“The demand was for two hundred thousand,” you murmur, rubbing at your temple. “It’s not about the money.”
“No,” Hotch agrees. “If it were, the amount would be higher. The parents could afford more, and the unsub knows that.”
The word tastes bitter on your tongue before you even say it. “Control.”
Hotch nods, gaze fixed on the road ahead. “They’re enjoying this. They want to watch the parents suffer, to dangle the possibility of return in front of them just to pull it away.” His fingers flex against the wheel, and something flickers across his face—anger, maybe, or something darker. “They won’t give her back. Even if they get the money.”
You don’t respond immediately. You don’t have to. He’s right, and you both know it.
Your stomach twists.
A missing girl. Eight years old. Her favorite color is purple. She was last seen wearing her school uniform, a plaid skirt and white blouse, her hair tied into two braids with lavender ribbons. The ribbons feel like a knife in your ribs, something small and innocent and so utterly helpless.
You could still be too late.
The thought makes your pulse spike, your fingers curling against your thigh. Your mind is still slow from exhaustion, sluggish with the weight of too little sleep, but the dread cuts through it like a blade.
Hotch notices. Of course, he does.
His voice is quieter when he speaks again. “We still have time.”
You nod, but it feels hollow.
Time. Such a fickle, cruel thing. Time only matters if you can use it right.
Hotch exhales sharply through his nose, reading your silence for exactly what it is. He slows the car just slightly as the road curves, voice lowering even further. “We’re going to find her.”
You squeeze your eyes shut, just for a second. The words are meant to reassure, and maybe they do. Maybe they don’t. But he says them with certainty, and right now, that’s enough to cling to.
The tension is suffocating, coiling tight in the space between you. The lull in the conversation feels fragile, like it could shatter at any moment. You shift in your seat, trying to shake the haze from your mind, trying to prepare yourself for whatever comes next.
The case isn’t going to get easier.
And neither of you have the luxury of slowing down.
||||
Another hour passes. Time ticks, a constant reminder, and the team gathers together near the parents after yours and Hotch's initial interview.
The house feels hollow.
It’s not empty—far from it. The parents sit on the couch, pressed together like they’re trying to hold each other up, faces drawn and pale. Rossi and Prentiss hover near the windows, speaking in hushed tones as they wait for Garcia to dig up more on the family’s history. Reid sifts through financial records at the dining table, eyes flicking between printed bank statements and his own notes.
And then there’s Hotch.
He stands near the fireplace, arms crossed, brow furrowed in that way that means he’s thinking—assessing, planning, pulling every thread of the case into something solid. You’re beside him, posture tense, exhaustion settled deep into your bones. The interview had been long, draining. Watching the parents crumble under the weight of their own grief, their own fear, had been like standing in the center of an emotional storm with nowhere to go.
You haven’t spoken in a while. Not since you wrapped up the last of your questions and let the silence stretch, heavy with unsaid things.
The mother sniffles, curling further into herself. Her hands tremble where they clutch a framed photo of her daughter, fingers ghosting over the glass. “She—she’s afraid of the dark,” she whispers, voice wrecked. “She can’t sleep without her nightlight.”
You swallow past the lump forming in your throat.
The father rubs a hand over his face, drawing in a shuddering breath. “You’ll find her,” he says, more to himself than to any of you. “You have to.”
Before anyone can respond, the phone rings.
The room freezes.
For half a second, no one moves. The shrill sound cuts through the air, deafening, slicing through the fragile quiet with cruel precision. The mother gasps, clutching the picture frame tighter, and the father lurches forward like he might reach for the phone himself.
Hotch reacts first.
He turns to you, gaze sharp, controlled. “Answer it.”
Your heart lurches.
There’s no time to hesitate. You push forward, crossing the room in three quick strides, and lift the receiver before the call can go to voicemail.
“Hello?”
A low chuckle hums through the line. Slow. Calculated. The hairs on the back of your neck rise.
“You picked up,” the voice drawls, smooth as glass. “I was hoping you would.”
The breath you take is slow, measured. You adjust your grip on the receiver, grounding yourself in the weight of it.
“You were hoping I would,” you repeat, voice steady, even. There’s a slight edge to it now, a sharpness lurking beneath the surface. “That’s an interesting way to phrase it.”
Another chuckle, this one richer, like he’s savoring something. “You don’t sound like her mother.”
Your eyes flick toward the woman on the couch, shoulders shaking, husband gripping her hand in a white-knuckled hold.
“I’m not.”
“Hm. And here I was expecting tears. Begging.” A pause, deliberate. “Disappointment doesn’t even begin to cover it.”
You don’t react. You won’t give him that satisfaction.
Instead, you tilt your head slightly, mind working, peeling apart every word he says. He wanted the mother to answer. He wanted the display of fear, the helplessness. This is about control, about knowing he has the upper hand—not just over the little girl he stole, but over her parents, too.
But he didn’t get what he wanted. And that alone is a crack you can widen.
You exhale, slow, and when you speak, you lace your tone with something just shy of boredom. “Did you take her for attention?”
Silence. Then, “Excuse me?”
You lean against the desk, crossing one arm over your stomach, settling deeper into your stance. Your exhaustion fades, burned away by adrenaline, by the sharpness of your mind locking into place.
“I mean, the whole charade. Calling the parents, expecting tears—seems like you’re looking for something. Maybe validation? You want to feel powerful?” You hum, tapping your fingers against your arm. “Let me guess—you don’t get that very often.”
His breath sharpens.
You hit a nerve.
Good.
“I wouldn’t be so arrogant if I were you.” His voice darkens, but there’s something underneath it. Something unsettled. “You don’t know who you’re talking to.”
You let a beat of silence pass before responding, voice smooth. “You’re right. But I will.”
He doesn’t respond immediately. You imagine him, wherever he is, gripping the phone tighter, jaw clenching.
“You’re not as quiet as you think,” you continue, calm, firm. “Not as untouchable. You think you’re in control, but I promise you, this won’t end the way you expect it to.”
His breath catches, just barely.
He wasn’t expecting this.
You glance up. Hotch is watching you, unreadable, but there’s something behind his gaze—something steady, unwavering. Approval, maybe. A flicker of admiration.
The unsub exhales, long and slow, like he’s resetting himself. “I have to say,” he murmurs, voice smoother now, masking whatever crack you created. “You’re much more interesting than the mother. I might just keep you around.”
Your grip tightens slightly, but you don’t flinch.
Instead, you smile.
“Good,” you say, letting just a hint of a challenge seep in. “Because I’m not going anywhere.”
Silence stretches across the line, taut and expectant.
The unsub is recalibrating. You can almost hear the gears turning in his head, the way his initial fantasy—the one where he controlled every step of this conversation—has been thrown off course. He thought he’d be speaking to a broken woman, pleading and desperate. Instead, he’s getting you.
And you aren’t playing his game.
You hold steady, spine straight, fingers firm around the receiver. The air in the room feels thick, but your mind is sharp. Clear.
He exhales through his nose, an amused scoff. “You sound so sure of yourself.”
“I am.” The words slip out smoothly, unshaken.
A beat of silence. Then—
“That little girl is very polite,” he muses, shifting tactics. “Very quiet. She doesn’t cry as much as I expected.”
A test. A provocation.
Your stomach twists, but you don’t let it show.
Instead, you adjust your grip, tilting your head as if in casual conversation. “She’s smart, isn’t she?”
The unsub doesn’t answer right away.
“You wouldn’t know, would you?” you press, keeping your tone even, thoughtful. “Because you don’t really see her. She’s just an idea to you—a piece in your game. But she’s real. And she’s waiting for us to find her.”
His breath hitches—just for a fraction of a second, but you catch it.
He wasn’t expecting that.
“You like control,” you continue, relentless now, peeling back his layers with careful precision. “That’s why you called. You wanted to hear her mother break. But instead, you’re stuck with me. And the longer you stay on the phone, the more you’re giving me. I wonder if you’ve even noticed.”
A sharp inhale. You struck something deep this time.
“You think you’re clever,” he sneers, but there’s a shift in his voice—tension creeping in, subtle but unmistakable.
“I think you’re predictable.”
Silence.
It stretches so long, you think for a moment he might hang up.
Then, quietly, “You have no idea what I’m capable of.”
You press forward, voice steady, unwavering. “I know exactly what you’re capable of. And I also know this: you wouldn’t be calling if you didn’t want something.”
Another pause.
Then, softer, a low murmur, almost amused—almost admiring:
“I like you.”
Your pulse spikes, but you don’t let it show.
You force yourself to breathe slowly, evenly, like this is nothing more than an ordinary conversation. “Good,” you say simply. “Then maybe we can work something out.”
Another stretch of silence. Then:
“We’ll see.”
The line goes dead.
You lower the receiver slowly, pulse thrumming, the weight of what just happened settling over you like a heavy blanket.
“Garcia,” Hotch says immediately, voice cutting through the tense air as he brings his own phone to his ear.
“I’m here, I’m here, I’m working on it!” Garcia’s voice crackles through the speaker, high with urgency. “He’s using a burner—signal’s bouncing between towers. I’m trying to pin it down, but he’s slippery. Give me a sec.”
You exhale, pressing the phone to your sternum for a moment before setting it back on the receiver. The pressure of all the eyes in the room—Hotch’s, Morgan’s, Spencer’s—is suffocating. The energy, once hot and commanding while you had control of the conversation, shifts violently back to its usual state. Your shoulders curl inward before you even realize it, fingers fidgeting at the hem of your sleeve.
Morgan’s voice breaks through the thick tension first. “That was impressive, tiny.” His words are teasing, but his eyes are serious, scanning you in a way that makes your stomach twist. “Didn’t know you had it in you.”
You duck your head slightly, heat creeping up your neck. “It—It’s just the work.”
“She did well,” Hotch interjects, voice firm but calm, cutting off any further attention on you. There’s something final in the way he says it, like it’s not up for discussion. It settles something in your chest, just a little.
“Yeah, well, let’s hope it’s enough to find this guy,” Morgan mutters, hands settling on his hips as he shifts his focus back to Garcia. “Talk to me, baby girl. Tell me you got something.”
Garcia hums in frustration. “I’m working on it. He’s bouncing his signal like a kid on a trampoline. But, but, but—” she draws out, voice lilting, “he stayed on the line longer than last time. Which means he’s getting comfortable, which means he’ll do it again. And when he does…”
“We’ll be ready,” Hotch finishes, nodding.
Spencer, who’s been pacing subtly behind you, suddenly speaks up. “Did you hear the background noise?” He’s staring into the distance, gears turning, hand twitching slightly as he sorts through information at breakneck speed.
Morgan frowns. “What background noise?”
“There was a faint echo—small, but noticeable. It suggests he’s in a space with a lot of reflective surfaces. Could be a warehouse, a basement, maybe an abandoned building.”
“That narrows it down to about a hundred places,” Morgan replies dryly, crossing his arms.
“It’s something,” Spencer counters. “And if Garcia can get a radius from the signal—”
“Which I’m trying to do, but some of us aren’t literal human computers, Doctor Genius,” Garcia cuts in, voice full of affection despite the bite.
“We need him to call again,” Hotch says, shifting his attention back to the phone, back to you. “And when he does, we keep him talking even longer.”
You nod instinctively, but the weight of what just happened presses down harder now that the adrenaline is ebbing. You shrink back slightly, fingers twisting together, stepping just an inch closer to Hotch as the room moves around you.
On the other side of the room, Emily sits with the parents, her voice a steady murmur as she soothes the mother, who is shaking, hands clasped tightly in her lap.
“We’re going to find her,” Emily tells her, voice sure, unwavering. “I know this is unbearable. But your daughter is smart. And she’s strong. We will bring her home.”
The mother nods, but she’s glassy-eyed, staring past Emily as though seeing something far away. The father is stock still, hands fisted on his knees, jaw clenched so tight it looks painful.
The weight in the room is thick, suffocating.
Hotch glances at you, just briefly. His hand lifts for half a second—like he might touch your shoulder, reassure you—but he stops himself. Instead, he steps just the smallest bit closer. You feel the warmth of him beside you, steady, grounding.
The phone is going to ring again.
And when it does, you’ll be ready.
||||
The hours bleed together, each one a tightening noose around the room.
It’s been nearly twenty-four hours since the girl was taken.
The parents sit stiffly on the couch, eyes hollowed by exhaustion and fear. The mother hasn’t moved from her spot in hours, arms wrapped tightly around herself as if she’s holding herself together by sheer will. The father stares at the wall, jaw clenched, the muscle twitching every so often.
The team is quiet. Not still, not stagnant—but quiet.
Morgan paces, jaw tight, his fingers twitching at his sides. Spencer has a legal pad in his lap, the pages covered in scribbled notes and probabilities, but his pen has stilled. Emily leans against the doorway, arms crossed, eyes scanning the room, though there’s no real focus behind them. Garcia is still working, rapid keystrokes and occasional murmurs filtering through the speaker on the table, but even she sounds subdued.
And Hotch.
Hotch stands near the window, arms crossed, staring out at the darkened street. He’s gone still in a way that unsettles you—like a coiled wire, all wound tension and too-sharp focus.
You sit on the edge of the armchair, hands folded in your lap, fingers pressing tightly together. You feel small, not in the way you usually do—but in the way that makes your chest ache, in the way that reminds you how big the world is, how cruel.
Because the clock is running out.
You know the statistics.
If a child isn’t found within the first twenty-four hours, the likelihood of their survival plummets.
And you know everyone in this room knows it, too.
The air is thick with it, with the unspoken, with the weight of reality pressing in around you.
And then—
The phone rings.
The sound shatters the heavy silence, sharp and shrill. The mother gasps, her hands flying to her mouth. The father lurches forward as if he might grab it himself, but Hotch is already moving.
He snatches the receiver up, pressing it to his ear. “This is Agent Hotchner.”
A pause. His expression hardens.
He turns, holding the phone out to you.
Your stomach lurches, but you don’t hesitate. You push to your feet, moving on autopilot, reaching out and taking the phone, pressing it against your ear.
“Hello?” Your voice is steady. Quiet.
And on the other end of the line—
A slow, ragged breath.
Then—
Laughter. Low. Amused.
“You again.”
The hairs on the back of your neck stand on end.
“Yeah,” you murmur. “Me again.”
You grip the phone a little tighter, forcing yourself to stay steady. Every second that ticks by is precious—Garcia needs time to trace the call, and you need to pull as much information from him as possible.
The unsub breathes out another quiet laugh, like this is some kind of game.
“You’ve got a nice voice,” he muses, casual, unaffected. “Soft. Sweet. Not like the others.”
A muscle in your jaw ticks. You don’t react—don’t let him hear the revulsion curling in your stomach. That’s what he wants. A reaction. Control.
Instead, you let out a small, careful breath. “And what about her?” you ask, voice even. “Is she sweet, too?”
From behind the phone, Hotch shifts. You don’t look at him, but you can feel the weight of his gaze, hear the near-silent hum of approval at your angle. Keep him talking. Make it about the victim.
The unsub inhales sharply through his nose.
“She cries too much,” he mutters, tone shifting. “Won’t stop. Won’t listen.”
Your fingers press tighter around the receiver. You push past the disgust, past the flare of anger clawing at your ribs. You don’t have the luxury of emotion right now.
“You don’t like that,” you say carefully. “You just want her to listen.”
Hotch nods once, subtle. Encouraging.
The unsub exhales, slow, considering. “Yeah,” he murmurs. “Exactly.”
You risk a glance at Hotch. He holds your gaze, then mouths, Location. Push him on location.
You take a breath, then lean forward slightly, as if it will somehow ground you. “She can’t listen if she’s scared,” you say, keeping your tone gentle. “She’s just a kid. She doesn’t know what you want from her.”
Silence.
Your pulse hammers in your ears.
“You don’t want to hurt her,” you press, voice just a little softer now. “If you did, you would’ve done it already.”
Hotch’s gaze sharpens.
The unsub hums. “Maybe I just like having someone who listens.”
Your stomach turns.
Morgan paces a few feet away, tense and impatient, but Spencer is watching you closely now, eyes narrowed in thought.
Behind you, Garcia’s voice comes through the speaker, urgent but quiet. “Almost there,” she murmurs.
You grip the phone a little tighter.
“You don’t have to be alone,” you say, and you mean it in a way you don’t want to acknowledge. “But you know this isn’t the way to fix that.”
Another long beat of silence.
Then—
“She’s quiet now,” he says, almost proud. “She finally stopped crying.”
Something in your chest goes cold.
Hotch steps forward, just a fraction, voice low as he murmurs just loud enough for you to hear, “Ask him why.”
Your fingers twitch. You swallow once, pushing past the ice curling around your lungs.
“What changed?” you ask, keeping your voice even. “Why is she quiet now?”
The unsub sighs, almost dreamily.
“I helped her,” he murmurs. “I made it better.”
A sharp knock of dread slams into your ribs.
And then—Garcia’s voice, suddenly louder, urgent—
“I’ve got him.”
Chaos erupts around you the moment Garcia’s voice crackles through the speaker. The team is in motion—Morgan’s already halfway to the door, Spencer on his heels. Emily gives the parents one last firm reassurance before following.
Hotch doesn’t move. He stays close, his presence steady as a hand at the small of your back, silent but solid.
But you barely register any of it.
Your fingers tighten around the phone, knuckles aching.
“What do you mean, you helped her?” Your voice wavers, but you push forward, desperate. “Is she hurt?”
The unsub sighs again, like this is some slow, indulgent conversation instead of a nightmare. “You don’t listen very well,” he says, almost amused. “She was crying. I helped her stop.”
A cold dread drips down your spine, settling like lead in your stomach. Your breath hitches, throat tightening around panic.
Hotch takes a step closer, so near now that you can feel the quiet warmth of him, grounding. “Keep him talking,” he says, low and measured, though there’s an edge beneath it. “We’re almost there.”
Your pulse thrums loud in your ears, but you swallow, forcing your voice to stay steady. “Tell me how,” you say.
The unsub exhales, as if indulging you.
“I held her,” he murmurs. “Just for a little while. Let her cry it out. You’d be surprised how quickly they go quiet when they feel safe.”
Something about the way he says it—the ease, the fondness—makes your stomach churn.
“She’s safe, then?” you push, voice thin. “She’s still with you?”
A pause.
Then, the unsub chuckles. “Would it make you feel better if I said yes?”
Your fingers tighten so hard against the receiver that they hurt.
Hotch is still watching you, reading every minute shift in your expression, every small tremor in your voice. His gaze sharpens, but he nods. Keep going.
“I just need to know,” you whisper. “If she’s okay.”
The unsub hums, something almost pleased threading through the sound. “I think you care too much.”
Maybe you do. Maybe you always have.
But you don’t say that.
Instead, you inhale, slow and shaky, and push out, “I just want to make sure she’s not alone.”
Another pause.
And then—soft, quiet—
“She’s sleeping now.”
The exhale you let out is almost staggering.
Your eyes squeeze shut for half a second, shoulders sagging just slightly.
Hotch watches the tension shift in you, something unreadable flickering through his expression before his voice cuts through the receiver, low and firm. “We’re on our way.”
And for the first time, the unsub hesitates.
You hear it in the way his breath catches, in the faintest rustle of movement.
Hotch tilts his head, eyes locked onto yours as he mouths, Now.
You straighten.
“You don’t want this to end badly,” you say, and this time, there’s no fear in your voice, no desperation—just quiet, steady certainty.
“You want her safe,” you continue. “You want to be heard. And I hear you. But if you don’t let us help, if you don’t let her go—” Your voice lowers, soft but firm. “This won’t end the way you want it to.”
The unsub doesn’t respond right away.
For the first time, you think he might actually be listening.
The unsub doesn’t say another word.
The silence stretches too long, each second stretching, coiling like a wire pulled too tight.
Then—click.
The line goes dead.
You barely register the sharp breath you pull in.
Hotch doesn’t hesitate. “Let’s go.”
You don’t even realize you’re shaking until the phone slips from your hand, caught swiftly by Hotch before it can hit the ground. He presses it into your palm, fingers briefly covering yours, grounding you.
The moment breaks as he turns, striding toward the door. You force yourself to follow, feet moving before your brain fully catches up.
The house blurs past you in streaks of warm light and worried whispers—Emily’s voice soft as she steadies the mother, Spencer murmuring something to Garcia through his headset. Morgan is already outside, loading his gun.
You climb into the passenger seat of Hotch’s SUV, heart pounding too fast, too hard. The door slams shut, and then—motion.
The car surges forward.
The headlights cut through the darkness, the road a rushing streak of black and gold. Streetlights blur past. You grip the edge of your seat to stop your hands from trembling.
Hotch doesn’t speak right away, but you feel his eyes flicker toward you between glances at the road.
“You okay?” he asks at last.
You swallow hard, nodding. “Yeah.” It’s not a lie. Not really.
Because you don’t have time to think about how your hands won’t stop shaking, how the adrenaline crashes over you in dizzying waves, because none of it matters—not when a little girl is out there, waiting.
Not when you’re this close.
Hotch presses down on the gas, jaw set, gaze fixed ahead.
Neither of you say another word.
Not when you’re this close.
The SUV screeches to a halt behind the others, tires kicking up dust from the abandoned lot. Before Hotch even shifts into park, you’re unbuckling, reaching for your gun, muscles tensed and ready. The second your feet hit the ground, the cold night air burns in your lungs, but you don’t stop moving.
The unsub’s hideout looms ahead—an old auto body shop, rusted-out cars littering the perimeter like grave markers.
Morgan and JJ are already at the front, weapons drawn, pressing against the wall beside the garage door. Spencer lingers near the back with Garcia still in his ear, voice clipped and urgent. Emily signals you and Hotch over with a sharp tilt of her head.
“He’s inside,” she murmurs, barely above a whisper. “Garcia got a hit on the utility bill—only one active line. Place is condemned, but someone’s been paying to keep the power running.”
Hotch nods, eyes scanning the structure, piecing together the fastest way in, the safest route to the girl. You don’t realize you’re holding your breath until he speaks.
“Morgan, take the east side with Prentiss. JJ, cover the back with Reid.” His gaze cuts to you, unreadable in the dim light. “We take the front.”
Your fingers tighten around your gun. He doesn’t ask if you’re ready. He just knows.
You nod.
Morgan counts down on his fingers—three, two, one—
JJ and Reid disappear around the back. Morgan and Emily dart right.
Then—Hotch moves.
And you follow.
The door groans as he forces it open, but you barely register the sound before you’re inside. The air is thick with oil and rust, the scent clinging to the back of your throat. Somewhere deeper in the shop, a light swings, casting sharp shadows over the scattered tools and overturned furniture.
Then—movement.
A door slams. Footsteps, hurried.
Hotch is already moving toward the sound, gun raised. You cover his six, every nerve in your body firing at once. The walls are too close, the ceiling too low.
Then—a scream.
High. Frantic. Small.
You don’t think.
You move.
Hotch shouts your name, but you’re already sprinting, rounding the corner just as a metal door swings open. A blur of movement—a man, dragging the little girl with him, his grip bruising around her arm. She’s sobbing, twisting, trying to fight him off.
Rage lights through you like a match dropped in gasoline.
You raise your gun. “FBI! Let her go!”
The unsub whirls, yanking the girl in front of him like a human shield. “Stay back!” he barks, voice wild, desperate. His other hand dives for his belt—
A knife.
Your heartbeat slams against your ribs.
You don’t give yourself time to think.
You move.
Your gun lowers.
Your feet propel you forward.
The unsub barely has time to register the shift before you’re on him.
You grab his wrist, twisting hard—he yells, grip loosening just enough for the girl to stumble free. Hotch is there in an instant, scooping her up, shielding her behind him.
The unsub snarls, wrenching his arm free, his other hand swinging with the blade—
You duck.
Pivot.
Your elbow slams into his ribs. He grunts, staggering, but he’s fast. He twists, knife flashing—
A sharp sting.
Pain lances across your shoulder.
You hiss, but don’t falter.
Instead, you use it.
You let him think he has the upper hand. Let him shift his weight just enough—
Then—
You strike.
Your knee slams into his stomach. He doubles over—another sharp twist, and his arm is wrenched behind his back. The knife clatters to the floor.
A second later, his body follows.
You plant a knee between his shoulder blades, chest heaving, wrist cuffs already in your hands.
He thrashes beneath you, but it’s useless. He’s done.
The adrenaline fades in sharp, ringing waves.
Then—Hotch’s voice, steady, sure.
“You okay?”
You finally look up.
The girl is clinging to him, small fingers curled tight into his shirt. Her eyes, red-rimmed and wide, lock onto yours.
You manage a nod. “Yeah.”
And for the first time in hours—maybe in days—
You believe it.
The ringing in your ears fades, replaced by the sharp sound of the unsub’s heavy breathing beneath you. His fight is gone, limbs slack against the cold concrete. You barely feel the sting in your shoulder now, too focused on the small, trembling girl clinging to Hotch’s side.
Her sobs have quieted, but her little body is still wracked with tiny, shuddering breaths. Her fingers stay twisted in the fabric of Hotch’s suit, white-knuckled, like if she lets go, she might disappear all over again.
You move before you can think, hands still shaking as you lift yourself off the unsub.
“Hey, sweetheart,” your voice is softer than you expect, almost drowned out by the distant sound of sirens. “You’re safe now.”
She blinks up at you, eyes glossy, bottom lip wobbling. The fear is still there, lingering, stitched into every muscle of her small frame. She doesn’t let go of Hotch, but she looks at you, really looks at you, as if trying to figure out whether she can believe you.
Hotch murmurs something low and reassuring, and after a few more rapid breaths, she hesitates—then releases his jacket, reaching for you instead.
The shift is instant. Your arms wrap around her tiny frame, her warmth pressing into you, her face burying into your shoulder. She still smells like the remnants of whatever cheap detergent clings to her pajamas, mixed with the salty traces of tears.
“You did so good,” you whisper, rubbing slow, gentle circles along her back. “You were so brave.”
Her small hands fist into the fabric of your shirt. You feel her exhale, a long, shaky breath against your collarbone. She’s exhausted, clinging to the safety of your arms like a lifeline.
Hotch’s presence lingers beside you, solid and steady. His hand brushes light against your back, grounding, a quiet reassurance that you did well, that she’s okay.
That you’re okay.
The sirens grow louder. But for now, you just hold her, murmuring soft reassurances into her hair, letting her feel safe, letting her know she’s not alone.
And as she finally relaxes, small body growing heavier with exhaustion, you know—
She believes you.
||||
The jet hums softly beneath you, a low, steady vibration that should lull you into sleep, but adrenaline still lingers in your veins. The weight of exhaustion is creeping in, though, settling in your limbs, making your muscles ache in a way that’s oddly satisfying.
Across from you, Morgan is still shaking his head, his arms crossed over his chest. “Nah, nah, nah. There’s no way. You’re messing with me.”
Emily grins, elbowing him in the ribs. “Oh, it happened. I was there. It was beautiful.”
Morgan points at you, eyes squinting in suspicion. “I need a play-by-play. Right now.”
You shift uncomfortably, glancing at the others for help, but Spencer—Spencer of all people—looks offended.
“You took him down physically?” His brows are furrowed, arms crossed, and it’s the closest you’ve ever seen him to pouting. "I thought you me and Garcia were together as physical-dodgers."
“I—” You open your mouth to remind him of the plenty of times he's gotten into fights with unsubs, but Emily cuts you off.
“She did it so smoothly,” she says, eyes practically sparkling with pride. “Just wham, and he was down.” She claps her hands together for emphasis, making Morgan flinch.
Rossi chuckles, sipping from his ever-present glass of scotch. “Kid, I gotta say, I didn’t think you had it in you.” His tone is warm, amused—proud. “That was some impressive work.”
Morgan groans dramatically, shaking his head again. “Man, I thought you didn’t even work out.”
You blink at him. “I—I do.”
He throws his hands up. “Since when?”
“I don’t know?” You shrug, suddenly self-conscious. “Always?”
Hotch hasn’t said much, but you can feel his gaze, steady and unreadable, watching the conversation unfold. When you risk a glance at him, his expression softens just enough for you to catch it—the quiet admiration, the almost-smile playing at the corner of his lips.
He’s proud.
That thought alone sends warmth creeping up your neck.
Morgan groans again, dragging a hand down his face. “This is ridiculous. I need to reevaluate everything I know about you.”
Emily leans back, smug. “Should we start placing bets on who she’s gonna take down next?”
Spencer mutters something about unfair advantages, and Rossi laughs into his drink. The conversation shifts, the teasing continues, and even as your body finally starts to relax, letting the exhaustion settle in, you can’t help but steal another glance at Hotch.
His eyes meet yours, and for just a second, there’s something unspoken between you. Something warm, something steady. Something good.
You look away before you can dwell on it, but the feeling lingers, settling somewhere deep in your chest.
Home.

The summer was dripping past in long days and soft nights. Moving into Agatha’s house had been as simple as shoving some clothes in her wardrobe and books on her bookcase. The summer heat had made you lazy without the need to constantly produce work for Agatha. And with that came lounging around the house.
Agatha had spent plenty of time telling you that draping over her couch was not going to work as seduction. And then she’d descend on you and burn you up with her mouth. It certainly seemed to work as a seduction tactic.
It probably helped that the heat left you wearing very little clothing. Shorts, crop tops, bikinis on the few attempts you’d made to go swimming. Each time her hands would be on your skin and you’d forget whatever it was you’d been trying to do. You couldn’t complain, knowing exactly what you were doing when you put on those clothes.
You were lying on her couch, under the fan, a worn paperback dangling from your fingers. Your eyes were closed, feeling the air waft over your bare skin, half asleep in the warm cocoon of the summer heat. Agatha had locked herself in her office under the grumbled excuse of having to actually get some work done. You’d grinned and sent her off with a lingering kiss, knowing she’d come find you sooner or later. She always did. It was like she couldn’t keep away from you.
It was one of the things you loved about her.
A knock sounded on the front door. You startled, the loud noise not something you’d been expecting. It was the middle of the afternoon and you knew Agatha wasn’t expecting anyone. She usually told you to make sure you weren’t wandering around the house half naked. Not that you thought she’d really have a problem with that. Not if she could stake her claim in front of everyone.
You knew she’d been thinking about that whole voyeurism dream you’d shared with her.
You swung your legs off the sofa, knowing Agatha probably wouldn’t have heard from behind the heavy office door she’d shut in your pouting face. Pulling the door open, you weren’t sure what to expect. Maybe one of the neighbours. Sharon had grown especially friendly over the last few weeks.
Rio was definitely the last person you expected to be there.
“What are you doing here?” she asked.
Her perfect face was marred with a look of disgust. Pushing past your initial shock, you let a smile take over your face, doing your best to do that sparkling thing Agatha accused you of doing to get your way.
“I live here,” you replied.
“So you’re still around,” Her head tilted to the side, “I can’t say I was expecting that.”
“I know,” you said.
“Is Agatha here?” she asked, dark eyes narrowing.
“She’s kind of busy at the moment but I’ll let her know you stopped by,” you said, already beginning to close the door.
Her hand slammed into it, holding it open. You pursed your lips, but let her lean towards you.
“Go tell her I’m here, little girl,” she said, her voice a hiss.
“If she wanted to see you, she’d be in contact,” you said, “I think her silence tells you enough.”
You’d won the war, you’d gotten the girl, you weren’t letting this intimidating woman come in and fluster you enough to steal your place in Agatha’s life. Her hand reached out, curling around a strand of your hair. She tugged on it, hard enough to feel a sharp pain in your scalp. It was nothing like when Agatha pulled on your hair, none of the liquid heat melting through your veins.
“Trust me, she’ll want to see me,” she whispered, pulling you closer to her.
“If I’ve taught you anything, pet, it’s not to trust such a self serving bitch like this.”
A hand slid around your waist, chin digging into your shoulder. You lent back against the familiar body, relaxing at her steady presence. Rio let go of your hair, straightening again as her eyes swept over the picture you made with Agatha. You knew how you looked wrapped up in her arms, comfortable and simply hers. You liked it, having her claim staked in front of someone who so obviously wanted it instead.
“What do you want?” Agatha asked, voice chilling in a way that turned it to ice.
“Since you’ve found someone to stick around, I thought I’d offer my services to teach her exactly how to please you,” she said, her eyes sliding from you to her, lips curling up in a familiar smirk.
“I think I’ve got it covered,” you said, “I’ve heard no complaints from her.”
“Because I have none. You’ve been doing wonderfully, kitten.” Her lips pressed to the vulnerable skin behind your jaw, making you shiver and press back into her. She chuckled, her fingers splayed over the bare skin of your stomach, nails gently dragging over it.
Dark eyes zeroed in on the hand on your stomach, an interested tilt to her head. You felt your breath catch, knowing she was watching you, wondering what she was thinking, seeing exactly how much Agatha wanted you. Your lips parted, the heat you felt under your skin unexpected but not unpleasant.
“You’re not even going to invite me in for a refreshing glass of lemonade?” she asked, gaze dragging back up to your face, “I’ve come such a long way to visit.”
“What do you think, pet? Should we let her in?” Agatha asked, lips brushing the shell of your ear.
“One drink wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world,” you said, grinning when her nails dug in.
The trouble with you was you were beginning to enjoy flaunting your relationship with Agatha. You wanted Rio to see it, to have to face the fact that you’d won, to rub it in her face. Agatha had made her decision and it was you.
She wasn’t needed anymore.
Your fingers tangled with Agatha’s as you led her to the back of the house, knowing it would annoy Rio. You pulled open the fridge door, the lemonade you’d made the day before waiting. Agatha’s hands were on your hips as you poured three tall glasses, ice cubes clinking against the sides. Her lips made a home on your neck. Rio was still watching. Your skin heated but you didn’t tell Agatha to stop.
“We can drink in the living room,” Agatha said after a moment.
She plucked one of the glasses from you, shoving the other across the counter at Rio. She caught it, hissing when some sloshed over the side onto the skin of her hand. Holding eye contact with Agatha, she licked it off, tongue slow as it dragged over her own skin. Her hand tightened around you, dragging you into the living room.
Rio settled on the couch, right where you’d been lounging. She lent back, legs spread, taking a long drink from her glass. Agatha sat in the armchair, one leg crossed over the other. You perched on the arm next to her, grinning when her hand landed on your thigh, fingers digging into your skin.
“You’ve built quite the little love nest for yourself here,” Rio said, her eyes focused on the hand on your leg.
“I don’t think it’s a love nest when we live together,” you replied, fingers winding through Agatha’s hair.
“You’ve moved in?” Her eyebrows raised for just a moment.
“That surprises you?” Agatha asked.
“Only because the last woman you lived with was me,” she said.
The way she was looking at Agatha was like she owned her. She had been the first and she probably had thought she would be the last but then you had come along and ruined all her plans. You weren’t going to let her ruin yours.
“And what a disaster that turned out to be,” Agatha drawled.
“I thought we had fun,” she said, long finger slow to draw along the rim of her glass, “you certainly seemed to enjoy being hidden away with me in very close quarters.”
“Until it became claustrophobic,” she replied.
“And now you have so much space. I’m sure you can go days without seeing one another,” she said, eyes flicking to you.
Agatha’s hand tugged on your leg. You slid off the arm of the chair into her lap. Molten in her hands, you let her spread your legs, forcing them to fall either side of both of hers as you lent back against her soft curves. Her chin rested on your shoulder as her hand pressed into your lower stomach.
“Lucky for me neither of us want that much space,” she said, lips brushing the underside of your jaw.
It was automatic, the way you tilted your head to give her more access. Dark eyes watched as she ran her tongue up the length of your neck before her teeth closed over your earlobe. You whimpered, the flutter of your pulse turning you breathless.
“Isn’t my pet so pretty?” Agatha asked, turning her gaze back to Rio, “how could I want to stay away from her?”
Rio hummed, not quite a proper response. Chilled fingers brushed over your skin, still wet from the condensation on the glass of lemonade she must have put down. Your lips parts and your muscles tightened under her touch. Her chuckle was low, a vibration you felt against you, the kind that said you were in trouble.
Or about to have a lot of fun.
“But I don’t like other people touching my toys,” she continued, hand beginning to trace patterns into your skin, brushing higher and higher up your body.
“I remember,” Rio replied, a rough hum, “but you never seemed to have a problem sharing with me.”
“This one’s different. She’s special,” she said, hand slipping under the hem of your crop top.
In the warm summer air the heat of her hand felt unbearable, and the thought of losing it was inconceivable. Lips pressed to the underside of your jaw. You wiggled in her lap, the low thrum of arousal familiar and comforting, and yet somehow indecent under the watchful gaze of Rio.
“No one’s that special,” Rio said.
“She is,” Agatha hummed, “the first taste I had of her I knew there was no one like her. I’d never get enough. If I could, I’d have her chained to my bed, at my beck and call, this pussy on demand.”
Her fingers played with the button of your shorts. She ignored the small noise you made. The way your breath stuttered out of your parted was ignored too.
“You’ve never tasted her. You’ve never heard what she sounds like when she comes. You’ve never seen the way she looks when she’d begging for her release,” she continued.
Her fingers popped open the button on your shorts. The other hand cupped your breast, over the top of your bra, squeezing it roughly. You made a small mewling noise, arching into her hand. Dark eyes raked over your body, lingering on where the hand was groping you.
“If you’d seen her come undone, you wouldn’t be giving her up either,” Agatha said.
“Are you offering?” Rio asked.
“You’ll never touch her,” she said as her hand pushed into your shorts, slipping into your underwear.
“You sure about that?” she asked.
“Go on, pet. Tell her. Will she ever touch you?” Agatha asks, lips brushing the shell of your ear.
Her fingers ghosted over your clit.
“No,” you managed to say, trying to sound as normal as possible. You were certain you’d failed from the way Rio’s gaze snapped down to your spread legs.
“And why’s that?” Agatha asked, keeping her voice to a gentle hum.
“Because I’m yours,” you replied.
Her fingers ran through your folds, feeling how wet you already were. Slow to circle your clit, she pressed her lips to yours in a gentle kiss, almost the complete opposite of what this situation had turned into. Your head fell back against her shoulder with a soft sigh.
“You see? I’ve trained her so well. I give her everything she needs. Why would she ever want someone like you?” Agatha taunted.
“You think she’ll stay with you? This young, pretty thing? She can find something better. You know I’m the only one who will stay with you forever,” Rio said.
“I’d rather take my chances with her,” Agatha replied.
She was being so slow with you. A teasing touch, soft and not nearly enough. You whined, turning your head towards her ear, wanting her to hear you. Her fingers dipped back down to your entrance, lingering there until you thought you would go mad.
“You’re free to leave at any time,” Agatha told Rio.
“If this is a game I don’t intend to lose,” Rio replied.
Her finger slid into you, so easily it was almost embarrassing. You whimpered, just loud enough to be heard, hips shifting. The hand she’d trailed up your shirt pulled the cup of your bra down, fingers pinching at your nipple. She was slow to roll it between thumb and forefinger, the hand between your legs stroking your inner walls in a way that was making it hard to catch your breath.
“No game,” Agatha hummed.
“Everything with you is a game,” Rio replied.
She lent forward, eyes growing more intent as they focused on your body. Fire was licking at your skin. Your hands clutched at the arms of the armchair, your nails digging into the soft leather.
“My pet isn’t a plaything,” Agatha said, right as her thumb ground against your clit.
Your moan was loud to your own ears. A sharp inhalation came from across the room. Dark eyes seemed to darken as they focused on your face. Under the spotlight of Rio’s attention, you felt yourself set alight. Your lips parted, eyes squeezing closed.
“Look at her. Isn’t she everything a person could want?” Agatha hummed.
Her thumb was moving in tight circles over your clit and you couldn’t breathe properly. Your hips tried to buck into her touch but without feet on the floor you couldn’t get any traction. Her tongue flicked at your earlobe before she found her home at your pulse point.
“I will admit you found a pretty little thing to occupy your time,” Rio agreed, her voice low. Your eyes fluttered open, finding her focused on where Agatha was kissing you, “but how long can she really satisfy you?”
“Just watch. Once you see, then you’ll understand how I could never grow tired of this,” she sighed before her teeth sunk into your skin.
You cried out, begging for more. She smiled into you your skin, tongue soothing over the bruise she had most likely left on your skin. She slid a second finger into you as her thumb slipped away from your clit. Whimpering, you hid your face against her neck.
“Go on, show her, pet,” she coaxed, “let her see you.”
You turned your face back to let Rio watch you. Agatha curled her fingers in reward, causing you to moan her name. You locked eyes with Rio. Her lips were pressed together, hands clasped, hanging between her knees.
Agatha’s thrusts were slow, the pace maddening. It wasn’t nearly enough, but it was making your head spin. You loved when she got rough with you, but this was almost like she wanted to see how far she could stretch your sanity.
“She’s so wet,” Agatha said, “so warm.”
“Agatha,” you whimpered.
“Shh, pet. The adults are talking,” she said.
You shut your mouth, doing as you were told. If you did, then she would reward you. You knew that. If you stopped distracting her, she’d let you come. She’d taught you so well. You would do anything she asked of you.
“See? Such a good girl,” she said, turning her attention back to Rio, “she does exactly what I tell her to.”
“I remember a time when you enjoyed being told what to do,” Rio said.
“I still do sometimes,” she replied, “when my pet has been particularly well behaved.”
“Is she as good as I am?” Rio asked.
“Better.”
Dark eyes, swimming in anger, returned back to you. You couldn’t even focus on her, the thumb back on your clit drawing tight circles, grinding against you until you were panting for breath. Her fingers curled, twisting inside you as her fingers harshly pinched your nipple. You yelped but you were arching into her touch, asking for more.
Rio was leaning closer, gaze focused on the hand in your shorts. You were so close, right on the edge, enjoying the way envy played over the other woman’s face so clearly. There was no way of knowing if she wanted to be you or be Agatha, or both.
“Don’t even think about touching her,” Agatha said, voice sharp.
Your cunt pulsed, loving when her voice became so commanding. Her chuckle was warm against your ear. Rio’s fingers clenched around her glass of lemonade, the ice almost completely melted. She lent back, her chest heaving, a flush still growing high on her cheeks as she watched.
“You’ll never touch her,” Agatha told Rio, “and you’ll never touch me again.”
“We’ll see if you still feel that way when this one has moved on too,” she replied but she didn’t sound so sure.
“Oh she’s not leaving me. She branded herself. She’s mine until she dies,” Agatha replied, and you could hear the smugness in her voice. She was proud of your actions. Even weeks later, her fingers still traced over the words inked on your skin, her name, over and over again until you thought she might wear your skin away.
You loved it.
“And I have complete control over her,” she continued, “don’t I, pet?”
“Yes,” you hissed as her thumb ground down even harder.
You were trembling, holding on for as long as you could. You knew the game she was playing, the example she was making of you. You weren’t going to let her lose face in front of Rio. She needed you to be good, to do this for her.
You would do anything for her.
“You must have spent a lot of time training her,” Rio said.
“Hardly,” she scoffed, not letting up on you for a moment, “she wants to please me.”
“But you enjoy punishment so much,” she said, her voice a caress, trying to taunt her into admitting you weren’t living up to her wishes.
“I enjoy a good girl so much more,” she hummed, “I like a toy that does as she’s told and doesn’t answer back.”
You definitely didn’t always do what you were told and you’d been known to answer back.
“That’s a lie, and we both know it,” Rio said.
“Perhaps, but she does it in such a delicious way I forget she’s pushing the limits,” she said before her lips brushed over your skin.
You were strung tight, trembling, doing everything you could not to fall over the edge. Her fingers were rough, moving in just the way she knew unravelled you. She was making it so difficult for you, and you assumed it was on purpose. She had to make it clear she wasn’t going easy on you. That even under pressure you still did as you were told.
That no one could give her what she wanted like you did.
“But since she’s being so well behaved today, she’s not going to come until I tell her she can,” she murmured, “will you, pet?”
“No,” you whimpered.
Tears pricked at your eyes, holding on so tight it was a physical ache. You were desperate. Her thrusts were fast now palm grinding against your clit. She was unforgiving, harsh in how she was treating you. The other hand was groping your breast, squeezing it, pinching at your nipple. When the tears fell, her teeth sunk into the skin of your neck.
Through the haze of the tears still leaking from your eyes, you saw Rio lean forward again. You squeezed your eyes shut, the heat of her gaze enough to make you breathless and wanton and needy. Agatha’s dark chuckle in your ear only made the whole thing worse.
“Do you see how hard she’s trying? She wants to please me so badly,” she said and you knew it was for Rio’s benefit.
“She is rather pretty when she cries like that,” she replied.
“And all for me,” Agatha said.
The conversation turned fuzzy after that, your entire brain focused on holding back your orgasm. You felt on fire. Every moment it only got worse, closer to turning to ash in Agatha’s lap.
“All mine,” Agatha purred.
You couldn’t stop the whimper that managed to slip past your parted lips. She didn’t reprimand you, her lips pressing to your temple.
“It’s okay, pet. You can come now.”
Your body shuddered in her arms, the relief washing through you. Letting go, you let the pleasure crash into you, the way it had been trying to for so long. You sobbed, pressing your face into her neck. The hand on your breast slipped out from under your shirt, stroking through your hair as she kept your face buried against her skin.
“You did so well for me, kitten,” she murmured against your temple, “you were wonderful.”
She eased you through it. Fingers slowing within you, her lips pressed soft kisses to your hairline. Once you’d stopped twitching in her arms, she slowly withdrew her hand from your shorts. Your arousal glistened on her fingers in the summer sunlight.
You grasped her wrist, pulling her fingers to your lips. You licked along them before sliding them into your mouth, your tongue licking her clean. Hollowing your cheeks, you sucked on them the way you knew she liked.
You dragged your eyes over to Rio, feeling a sense of smugness. You were the one she’d been touching, and you were the one who had put on the show for her. Her own eyes were blown wide as they took you in.
“You can’t find anyone better than my pet because there is no one better. And she’s all mine,” Agatha said, sliding her fingers from your mouth, the arm around your waist tightening, “you can leave now.”
Rio’s eyes snapped to her, the look of anger flashing over her face. You cuddled back against Agatha, pulling your legs up to settle more comfortably against her body. She handed you her glass of lemonade, making sure you drank the entire thing down before putting down the empty glass. Her fingers slid into your hair, cradling the back of your head.
Her lips pressed to yours, kissing you deeply. You were boneless, melted against her, satiated and happy. She tucked your head back against your shoulder.
“Get out of my house,” she commanded, voice hardened as she realised Rio was still there on her couch.
“You bring me here and put on a show then tell me to leave without giving me mine?” she demanded.
“You showed up uninvited. Now get out,” she said.
You sighed as you burrowed closer to her, eyes sliding closed. A lazy afternoon nap sounded like a wonderful idea.
You weren’t sure how long you sat like that with her but when the front door slammed you jerked up. The couch had been vacated and Agatha was glaring out the front window.
“Next time we don’t invite her in for a drink,” you mumbled, finding your place against her shoulder again.
“You didn’t have fun?” she asked.
“I had fun with you,” you replied, “she was surplus to that.”
“Was she? Because I think you liked performing for her. You liked her watching,” she said, the fingers still tangled in your hair pulling.
“I did,” you agreed, “I really did.”
“And yet you still don’t want her to come back?”
You looked up at her, still feeling soft and sleepy, wanting nothing more than to stay in her arms. She wasn’t looking at you, the weight of her gaze having shifted back to the window. You wished you knew what she was thinking.
“Agatha, she makes you unhappy. As long as she does, I don’t want her anywhere near you,” you said.
Blue eyes darted down to you, finding you gazing up at her. The fingers in your hair slid out, gently tracing the curve of your jaw.
“You’d give up ever doing that again just for me?” she asked.
“I have more than enough just from you. Who cares if that never happens again as long as I have you. You’re all I want,” you replied.
She tilted your head up, kissing you until you were breathless.
“Well, I think we made our point, kitten,” she said.
“Mmhm,” you hummed, settling against her again.
“I doubt she’ll be back. She knows there’s no place for her in my life anymore,” she said, fingers carding through your hair.
“I’m all you need,” you mumbled, lips brushing the skin of her neck.
You felt her shiver, fingers tugging on your hair sharply. You kissed the underside of her jaw, feeling her arm tighten around you.
“You’re everything I’ve ever wanted,” she replied, “you were made for me.”
When she lifted you, her arms strong around your body, carrying you upstairs to your bedroom, you couldn’t agree more. You had been made just for Professor Harkness. And you were never letting her go.

@idionkisson said, re: my very last tag, if you wanted to share any more mean thoughts about this tendency vs. the way people talk about AI art, yk, just sayin, i'd love to read em 👀
DISCLAIMER: I don't think the current usage of AI art is good. I think it further contributes to the devaluation of the artist's intent. that said, the thesis of this post is that there was a strong anti-intellectual and anti-academy vein of thought that prepared the way for the view that AI art is a full replacement for human-made art.
so, there was an age of the internet where every other tumblr post, it seemed, was about how this artistic-looking thing had happened "accidentally" or was done by an amateur, or described an artist with a decent amount of recognition and respect in the art world as "this guy," as in "this guy spent a year making a map that is the territory" - the one i'm immediately able to find is this crystalized book, by the artist Catherine McEver.
it went viral on tumblr as "a book that fell into the ocean" (and on facebook as "an ancient bible that's still readable", which is v. funny because that book is clearly less than a hundred years old, and i would warrant less than 10). there was also a really cool artwork with less easily googable keywords - someone (eta: thanks to @zukriuchen it's Brian Fanner) made a beehive with internal structuring so that it would look like a heart when opened, which people posted as "a beehive that went back to nature" or something. this supposedly accidental production of works that evoke emotion in the viewer was contrasted to "modern art", which was viewed as sterile, emotionless, overly intellectual, and inaccessible. Only that which Nature creates, or which people create accidentally or without study is "true art".
to some extent, this is a reaction to the way art, especially making money in art, has become genuinely inaccessible - much studio art is taking part in a really long conversation that you could probably trace back to the walls of Lascaux if you wanted, and it is really hard to make your way as a working artist.
(NOTE i am not going to say "due to capitalism" here - the way you could make your way as a working artist without being born rich in the Renaissance was "being adopted as a pet artist by a nobleman" or "getting commissions from the Church" and in the 18th and 19th centuries it was "selling portraits to rich people" or "making a whole bunch of sentimental prints that sold well". we are not well-served by inventing past utopias.)
but that, combined with a shallow reading of the death of the author (not "the author's point of view on their own work is a single reading & not necessarily the most valid one" but "the only thing in a work is what any individual reader sees there"), ends up valorizing things the author "didn't see" in a work ("did they know how funny this is????" about a deliberate contrast in tone in a scene is part of this too), because it allows the reader to feel smarter than the author - they just put down the proceedings of their soul, the reader decodes it and finds the truth!
So, to return to AI. AI art does not have the same intentional choices behind it as human-made art. i won't argue that. but there are AI pieces that get reblogged without people knowing, with tags that indicate that it made the reblogger feel something, and then as soon as they find out that it's AI they decry it as soulless. but didn't it make you feel something, before you knew it was AI? is there a difference, in the initial experience, all arguments about copyright aside, between a computer randomly collecting billions of bits and outputting an image and "this guy put ink on ants' feet, what they created will amaze you"? both of them are art without intent.
again, I am arguing purely on an experiential level. there are ethical concerns about AI art, and functionally, there IS still a human actor who thought of putting ink on those ants; ant-foot art is not going to take over the internet. still, it's extremely jarring, after years of reading people downplay artists' skill, intent, and years of study, often phrased as an attack on the "fake" art world, to read them now talk about how the artist's intent and experience is paramount.
there's this horrible school of attempted literary criticism on here that holds that 1. everything in any given author's work is autobiographical, especially if it seems "real" and 2. those themes seeped into the work subconsciously, revealing something about the author that they're either trying to hide or unaware of themself. it drives me up a wall, since it seems to deny the fundamental skills that make people good writers: the empathy to imagine and portray experiences that one hasn't had oneself and the ability to take one's personal emotional experiences or worldview and fold them, consciously, into the unworked clay of a narrative.
#if we're being really real i do include 'my characters just do things lol' in this#but that's purely me being mean#long post#please i am poor do not piss on me

This is Part Two of the series I’m writing with @paci-papa, catch up on Part One here!
One thing is crystal clear as you lay there in a soggy diaper, waiting for your babysitters to change you:
It’s going to be a long weekend.
For the last few months, Papa had been your whole world. He made you feel so safe, so secure you never thought twice about becoming his babygirl.
You didn’t mind the wet and messy diapers you wore all day. Or how your adult clothes were swapped for your current infantile wardrobe. You didn’t even mind that your adulthood was a thing of the past, never to return.
Papa was always there to make everything better. To assure you that you were right where you belonged.
It was like the outside world ceased to exist.
“You were so right, babe. She really is better off like this! It’s hard to believe it’s her. No more attitude, no more sass. Just a well-behaved pamper packer!”
Not anymore.
Papa didn’t leave you with just any babysitters. No, you had a history with the two babysitters smiling down at you.
“Well, I wish I could take credit for the docile little thing waiting so patiently for a diaper change! But her Papa deserves all the credit. All I did was put her back in diapers where she belongs!”
Two years ago, before your new life as Papa’s poopy pamper princess, Trevor was your boyfriend. But he could only handle your attitude and immaturity for so long. Especially when your drunken escapades ended with a soaked bed.
“Well, judging by how fast she tinkled through this diaper, it was the right decision!”
You foolishly look up and make eye contact with Liv. Pee trickles into your diaper as you see her condescending grin.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/3d7155b2dbe01b1708a099caf28ef504/3092c74c998488d6-a4/s540x810/3be93f1dc4fdab3d97aba1bbd3f36b9ee4bb5699.jpg)
Ugh, you hated Liv.
The woman who stole Trevor from you.
You remember that same condescending grin on her face when Trevor put your nighttime diaper on you before she ran off to bed with him. Or how she’d always check your diaper in her lingerie first thing in the morning.
And the horrible way she’d loudly comment that you made an “oopsie daisy in her diaper” whenever you woke up wet.
Liv stops Trevor as he walks to you with a new diaper and changing supplies.
“Babe, I’m a little concerned about Erica’s tummy. Her Papa says she usually makes a boom boom before lunch, but it’s already afternoon, and she’s only tinkled, poor thing.”
Your face turns a shade of red so bright a tomato would be jealous.
“Honey,” Trevor says, “Are you holding your poopoo?”
You cover your face in shame. “I…I…”
Liv jumps in with a sickeningly sweet voice, “Little one, you have nothing to be embarrassed about, okay? We’re your babysitters! Our job is to change poopy diapers!”
You whimper, dreading what’s about to happen. “I…don’t have to…”
“Hmm. Why don’t we help make things easy, sweetie?” Liv says, grabbing your feet, “Let’s do bicycle kicks until you fill your diaper?”
“B-bicycle kicks?” you whimper.
“Yes, little one. They always work on my little niece!”
Before you can react, Liv starts moving your legs back and forth, slowly pushing them towards you before pulling back, cycling each leg.
“Mmmm,” you whimper, doing your best not to mess your diaper in front of Liv like an actual baby.
For a minute or two, the only sounds are your diaper crinkles and Liv's humming. A loud, foreboding gurgle erupts from your tummy.
You whimper, feeling your control dwindling. Every time Liv pushes your legs, you feel your control slipping. You desperately try to fight the inevitable.
Without warning, a loud toot trumpets into the room.
“Good girl, Erica! Get all your toot-toots out!” Liv coos.
It happens slowly, then all at once.
Your eyes go wide as you feel your mess sliding slowly, inevitably, into your diaper, which crackles as you fill it. Nothing you do makes any difference.
Trevor laughs, “Wow, you were right, Liv! Works like a charm!”
You have no control, like the baby you’ve become.
Each time Liv pushes, more mess slides into your diaper. She pushes on and on, your diaper struggling to contain your onslaught.
“Almost done, honey?” Liv asks, inspecting your diaper, “Anymore poopoo and we might have a blowout!”
All you can do is nod your head, too mortified to answer.
“Awwww, what did I say about being ashamed of your stinkies, baby? They’re part of life for you now. Besides, it’s not like waiting would’ve changed anything! Diapers are your potty now, silly!”
You cower as the smell engulfs you, a constant reminder of your new place in life.
Liv pats your diaper playfully. “Such a big mess, too! You musta felt so icky holding all that in!”
“No wonder Papa needs a break!” Trevor adds, “Diaper duty for little Erica here is no easy task.”
“Oh, stop, Trev. Don’t make baby Erica feel bad, she can’t help it. She’s just a baby!”
You look up at Liv with a feminine rage that fizzles out immediately. Liv meets your glance.
She’s taunting you. She knows you’re no longer a woman—you’re a silly baby in a poopy diaper.
“Yeah, you’re right. I’m sorry, honey. Besides, I like you so much better this way! It was a mistake potty training you, but Papa is fixing that mistake! Your attitude is so much better when you’re pampered.”
Hearing that, you whimper, kicking your feet in shame. But too embarrassed to throw an actual tantrum.
As you kick, your bulging diaper sways heavily, threatening to burst.
“Awwwww, you can say that again,” Liv giggles, “Look at her go! Big girl things like drinking, sex, and work were much too big a responsibility for you. Papa was right taking them away from you.”
Trevor nods in agreement.
“Now all you have to worry about is being Papa’s pretty princess! It’s hard to have a bad attitude when you’re in a loaded diaper, isn’t it?”
Liv tickles your sides, cooing you. “Come on, lil stinker. Let’s get that diaper changed. You’re not getting diaper rash on our watch!”
As Liv changes your diaper, you can’t help but think about your new life—and what it means to be Papa’s pamper packer.
It was so easy to get lost in the silliness of being his princess when it was just the two of you. Papa made everything so perfect, so comfortable, you couldn’t help but want to be his diapered little princess.
But you forgot that you don’t get to stay home all day. There’s a whole world outside your cozy crib and comfy changing table.
And now you know exactly where you fit in.
Pamper packers like you may be cute and adorable, but nobody will ever take you seriously again. Not as an adult. To everyone, you’re nothing but an oversized baby in need of a caregiver.
You used to think of yourself as a beautiful, sexy woman. As Liv grabs another wipe to clean your poopy princess parts, you know those days are long gone.
Pamper packers don’t have sex. They get their princess parts wiped clean before being safely secured in another diaper before being sent off to play.
Later that night, the reality of your new life carries into the guest room. The sounds of Liv’s pleasure breaks the silence of the night.
You listen, imagining that it was you moaning. Getting lost in your fantasy, crinkles erupt from your bed as you desperately hump your pillow to the rhythm of the moans.
A crinkle symphony nobody will ever hear.

031. there it is (wc: 868)
“You are just too cute when you're drunk, you know that, right?” You question, squeezing Sunghoon's cheeks with your palms. His lips form a pout, forcing a quiet laugh out of you. “I obviously need to pay more attention to you, or you just drink bottle after bottle.”
A movie plays quietly in the background, long forgotten as the two of you went through various soju bottles. Not long after arriving, Sunghoon was able to find his place right next to you on your couch, sharing his convenience store goodies with you for your last-minute dinner plans together. A moment so familiar, yet your cheeks grow a nice pink color at the closeness between you two – and it wasn't the alcohol speaking.
The man nods, staring at you with heavy-lidded eyes as he nuzzles closer into your hand. You freeze at the action, hair standing up down your arms. “Please pay attention to me alllll the time,” he mumbles, holding one of your hands with his. “All I need is your eyes on me, baby.”
“Who knew being drunk would make you so bold,” you tease, softly rubbing your thumb across his cheek. “And affectionate. Didn't think you could get even more cuddly than before.”
“Only for you, my beautiful wife,” he whispers, escaping your hold on his face and falling straight into your arms. He buries his face into your shoulder, “being with you makes me so happy.”
“Aww, hubby,” you start, hands finding their way to his back and gently stroking the fabric of his shirt. “Being with you makes me happy, too.”
He grows silent for a moment, maybe because he's content in your arms. Or maybe his mind is racing, and his heart is pounding right out of his chest, struggling to come up with even a word to say next. “Now that Third Life is coming to an end,” he pauses, never looking up to meet your eyes. “Will we still be… I don't know… married?” He questions but doesn't give you the chance to respond. “I know Newly Weds will always be popular amongst the fans, and we'll always be friends, but… I like how it is now. Being married to you.”
“You like being married to me?” You ask. It's all you can muster, as your thoughts are running wild at the man's question.
He nods, finally lifting his head up to look at you. “I love being married to you,” he answers, his eyes sparkling. “The idea of you teaming up with someone other than me makes me sick. What if people start shipping you with them instead? And forget about us?”
You smile at him sweetly, hand finding his cheek again with a soft touch. “Hoonie, no matter who I team up with or get shipped with,” you pause, struggling not to laugh at his wavering eyes. “They will never be you.”
He goes quiet again, really taking the time to process your words. He lowers his head back into your shoulder, face heating up all the way to the tip of his ears. “You can't just say shit like that, Y/Nie…” He murmurs, shaking his head. “I can't handle it.”
“Oh, poor baby,” you tease, patting the back of his head with a quiet laugh.
He lifts his head up once more, eyes bright as they stare up at you. “Your baby, right?”
“Hey, if I can't say stuff like that, neither can you,” you joke, soothing his hair back. Still, he only responds with a pout. You let out a soft sigh, “but, yes. My baby.”
A smile grows across his face, reaching his hands up to cup your cheeks. Despite initiating it, the proximity between the two of you has his mind going haywire. “God, I can't believe I'm lucky enough to be with you,” he mutters, taking a deep breath. “If only it was more than just some fake marriage from a Minecraft server.”
You're taken aback by his bold words, eyes wide at the fact that just a few drinks would have all this spilling out of him. “Who says it has to be just that?” You question, tilting your head to the side.
His stomach turns, and his heart begins pounding even hard – if it was even possible – and his head dips down again. “What did I say about saying stuff like that?” He whines even more as you laugh at his response.
“You said it first!” You say, struggling to hold back your laughter. “Come on, say it again,” you continue, urging him to look back up at you. “I wanna hear you say it again.”
“You're evil,” his pout returns, looking back at you with almost glossy eyes. When you don't say anything else, he sighs. “... I want more than this,” he pauses. “I want more than some weird Minecraft series ship… Y/N, I want you.”
“There it is,” you tease, a big smile playing on your lips. You tilt his head up by his chin, adoring the way his cheeks flush at the situation. “God, have I told you how cute you are?”
“Many times,” he answers.
“Good,” you reply, leaning in until his lips meet yours.

Hi! Thank you so much for your beautiful work!! I hope it’s okay to make a silly little request
So I’m in my 20s (late 20s I might add) but I’ve never ever even kissed anyone yet and I kinda really want to so… Would you consider writing modern au!Viktor with a virgin!f!reader? Something about a first kiss or maybe having sex for the first time or first relationship..? Anything first in general 👉👈
Anon, I am beating my chest that it took so long and hope that you will get a notification that it is published (I sometimes don't when I ask anon questions). I was a late bloomer myself and it has some massive advantages. Though I hope you get to kiss someone nice soon!
First Rites
viktorxfemale!virgin!reader mature, kissing and making out :)
author’s note: Nothing smart to say here, really, other than I will probably write a part two of this :') @rennethen beta read!

Your eyes sweep over Jayce’s tongue on Mel’s before you catch yourself staring. And even that doesn’t stop you. You analyse the movement of their hands, the way Jayce’s hips press into Mel’s, memorising all the smacking sounds they try to muffle into gentle giggles, hoping that you and Viktor are doing a decent job of not looking. When in reality, it’s the exact opposite.
It always goes the same way: the clack of heels echoing through the corridor outside the lab already has Jayce perking up. He grunts, clears his throat, and gets up slowly to avoid raised eyebrows and Viktor stating the obvious, like, “I guess this means you’re off for the day?”
Then, Jayce gives an apologetic smile and strolls toward the door, opening it before Mel can even knock. He exchanges a shy, stupid, cheek-reddened “Hi” for her sultry, thick “Hi yourself.” Their greetings die somewhere in their mouths when their lips meet in a first hello kiss. That one doesn’t last very long—soon, it shifts into an I missed you kiss. That lingers before melting into an I want you kiss or an I’d rather eat you than dinner kiss. And those are your favourites.
Even when you try very hard not to imagine what kind of kiss might follow that, you can’t help yourself. You end up blushed and flustered, your mind spinning with curiosity.
So you stare—impolitely, some might say—but for you, it’s research. You study and memorise, committing their courtship to memory so you can replay the scene later, your fingers wandering over your own lips as you imagine what it would be like. To have someone’s lips on yours, someone’s tongue in your mouth. It doesn’t sound all that appealing or hygienic, but it looks fantastic. It makes you feel a very much welcomed weirdness in your chest and belly, and having nothing else to supplement those feelings with, you just outright stare.
“It’s quite rude, if you ask me,” Viktor’s voice cuts through your thoughts just as Mel lets out a small, startled sound at Jayce’s hand cradling the back of her neck.
“Uh, I know. They should take it somewhere else, really,” you whisper back, but your tone is far from condemning. You say it absentmindedly, your eyes still glued to their mouths, chin propped on your hand, your scribbling abandoned the moment Jayce stood up.
“I meant your intense staring. But yes, such activities should be performed outside of work areas,” Viktor mumbles, not looking up from his notes.
Your blush deepens into an intense red hue as you finally look away and cover your face with your hand.
“Oh, I um… I didn’t mean to, it’s just—”
“All right, we’re off! Don’t work too hard while I’m gone!” Jayce’s beaming laughter cuts you off. Before you or Viktor can reply with a snarky comment, he sweeps Mel by the waist, and they disappear into the hallway. The sound of Mel’s giggle and the uneven click of her heels on the stone floors make you wonder if Jayce is kissing her neck or pressing her against a wall.
“It’s just?” Viktor insists, finally looking at you, his face forming an unamused expression.
“Nothing. It’s just nothing,” you respond quickly, picking up your pen with a shaky hand. You force yourself back to scribbling, even though your handwriting comes out ragged, suffering from both the excitement and the fear of Viktor’s prying eyes. But you do it anyway, desperate for any kind of shield.
“It does not look like nothing,” Viktor pushes, rotating in his chair to face you fully. You deepen your hunch, almost pressing your nose into the paper. How mortifying.
“I understand the concept of unrequited attraction, but you should really do yourself a favour and quit this self-flagellating practice of ogling every time Mel picks him up. It doesn’t lead to anything beneficial and impacts your focus,” Viktor drones, his nasal tone close to scolding.
You feel so scrutinised that you don’t even bother to correct his misunderstanding of your habit. You just sigh and continue your fake note taking.
“Trust me, I would know,” Viktor adds.
That catches your attention. How would he know anything about what you’re going through?
“Whatever do you mean by that?” you ask, keeping your face turned toward your notes, though your eyes wander to glance at him. He looks… unhappy? Mildly irritated? Annoyed at your lack of shame and focus?
“I am merely stating that lusting after someone out of reach is, at best, futile and, at worst, a path to ruin. For your own good, I would refrain from such practices,” Viktor says quietly.
You blink a few times as the words settle in your mind. He thinks I’m in love with Jayce? Lusting after him? It’s almost funny when you think that what you’ve been doing is in fact, just lusting.
“I can assure you, I am not attracted to Jayce. Or Mel, for that matter. I just—”
“Oh?” Viktor’s head snaps up so fast it surprises even him. He internally scolds himself for the involuntary reaction, but the undeniable punch of hope makes him lose control of his body for a moment. His pupils are wide, his brows lifted all the way to his forehead. “You’re not?”
“Uh, no,” you sigh, finally turning to face him properly. Your head dips as embarrassment weighs you down, but maybe admitting it will make it easier to carry. “I’m just… collecting research. For whenever I’ll have the opportunity. If ever. I mean, it’s not like I’ve ever—”
“What?” Viktor’s voice comes out too sharp. Shit. He scowls at himself—internally, of course—for how poorly he masked his shock. Way to be sensitive.
You wince, sinking deeper into yourself.
“Oh. Forgive me. I didn’t mean to… offend you,” he says carefully, trying not to sound too excited. His hand hovers over your knee while he calculates whether it would be proper to comfort you with a gentle touch. If you would like that. If you would like him to touch you.
But before he can decide, you turn back to your side of the desk, avoiding his gaze. “I’m not that easy to offend. It’s just not something I’m comfortable with. I’m a bit… too old for that, you know.”
And as if having a mild upper hand in this situation pumps Viktor with extra courage, he twists your chair back and rolls it close to his, until the sides of your thighs touch. “I didn’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable, then. I actually mean for the opposite of that,” he breathes and allows himself to glance over your lips, briefly. But you notice.
“Viktor?” you whisper, feeling an invisible force pulling you closer to his face. His arm extends over your legs, gripping the edge of your seat, and you feel the mild heat radiating off his body. You can smell his scent lingering in the space between you as you indulge in small glances at his eyes and lips.
“If you allow me, I could provide you with… some hands-on experience. Unless, of course, I am not—”
“Yes,” you answer quickly, and Viktor exhales into a relieved smile. He mumbles an “okay,” as if bracing himself, and closes the little distance left between you. His mouth presses against yours almost innocently as he takes your upper lip between his. His lips are soft and warm. It’s a long, lingering peck that has your eyes fluttering shut and a pool of heat blooming in your belly. You find yourself leaning into the kiss, your hips on the edge of the chair, to the point that your chests almost press against each other.
When he disconnects from you, it’s only to breathe against your mouth, “Is this alright?”
“Yes,” you say shakily, your lips brushing his. You open your eyes only to see a pretty pink blush splattered across his cheeks and ears. A smile tugs at the corner of his mouth when he asks, “Would you like me to continue?”
“Please, continue,” you exhale, and something glints in Viktor’s eyes. Emboldened by your enthusiasm, he slides the hand gripping the stool to the back of your seat, pulling you closer until you can almost feel the flutter of his heart against yours as your chests meet. His other hand cradles the back of your neck, and oh, it’s the same gesture Jayce granted Mel that you’ve longed for so dearly, and you feel your skin prickling under Viktor’s touch.
His mouth is back on yours, this time the press is firmer, as he parts your lips with his tongue and—oh. Just oh, as your eyebrows knit together and the warmest of feelings floods your chest, making your hands jolt out to fist his vest, and you sigh the sweetest of sounds into his mouth. And he doesn’t stop there—the hand from the chair slides up your side, rests on your ribcage, fingers digging in when he—oh—also makes a sound. The hottest of sounds, a honey-dripping moan that makes you bite his lower lip, craving to eat him up with a long spoon.
And when he loses himself a bit—grunts and sighs into you, his hands wandering to rest at the base of your spine and cradle your cheek in a firm grip—you don’t even know how it happens, but you slide your hips to straddle his and press yourself down on him. To your delight, he has many more of those pretty sounds, some even forming something close to your name, making you melt into his arms.
When he pulls away, it’s only for an inch. “Oh, my,” Viktor mutters, rubbing his face against yours and kissing your neck. You like that too, but you already miss his hot tongue in your mouth. “A natural talent, I see,” he chuckles, and you blush even more at the thought of what he would say if he knew how much practice you’ve done on the crook of your fist alone in your room.
He looks up at you, all flustered and pretty, swiping his thumb across your glistening lip. He doesn’t know what’s come over him when he says, “If you wish to explore this further, I can offer my… expertise.” What he wants to say is that he’s been thinking about this too many times to count, leaving him flustered and pretty countless times before, but he doesn’t want to scare you away. So he just keeps looking at you expectantly, willing his mouth to shut.
“I would like that,” you mutter shyly, noticing how Viktor’s chest sags with relief. To think that he was there, willing and within your reach all this time makes you feel silly for all those times you stared at Jayce and Mel longingly. And you’re convinced you’ll continue to watch them—not with longing, but with anticipation for when they finally stroll off to their date, so you can sink your lips onto Viktor’s.

"You are." Daryl Dixon Imagine.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/aa3c475f6d86455869febb9f7c5ba376/dc54f36dcba3c9b6-63/s540x810/a8e5c73956a0c716e8648f8f482a80f4b4bd16e9.webp)
To Daryl, you are different, you are special, you are everything. But when his jealousy over a "prank" from your friend leads to a misunderstanding you can't resolve, and an incident the next day that nearly costs you your life, it causes Daryl to have a huge revelation about his feelings for you.
@artsynana: heyy dear!! i was wondering if you could ever write something with some soft jealous daryl x reader at the prison era, btw i love the way you write daryl🥰
A/N: Hi love. First, sorry! I didn't know you had left a request :( but thank you so much for doing it. This is a little short and different :( and a little more dramatic, but I really hope you like it♥ And for your words, thank u again! I think I write Daryl a little bit off the character, but I guess it's because I picture him like that hehe
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0653876bc085ad9a3df281624e3a2bdc/dc54f36dcba3c9b6-5e/s540x810/b18d4d018c1e4c44aef253ee2254dcfff1264c8b.jpg)
Daryl Dixon is not a possessive person, never, but he is not made of steel either, that’s why he’s unable to stop jealousy from creeping up on him.
The night is ending inside the prison, the heat of the day floating in the air, but the still warm weather seems to hang over Daryl almost in a suffocating way. As he continues to wait for his dinner, he has a panoramic view of you across the dining room, sitting in the long steel chair, elbows on the table, always accompanied by that pretty boy Sean, with his stupid green eyes and that stupid smile, following you ever since Daryl rescued his group from the governor.
And Daryl hates not being able to hate you for the senseless jealousy that you make him feel now, as he thought he did in the past.
Daryl hated you for being fearless, like the afternoon you showed up to save his ass back in Atlanta, like a force of nature, like a fucking storm–sweeping away the little peace he managed to find at the end of the world, shaking his own with your magnetic presence. But he also hated how your strong gaze could rest, turning you into an angel when he could see the tenderness in your soft smile, and your dreamy eyes when things got a little bit better in that grey world.
The secret of his hate was because of your selfless, wild and free heart, and that fucking dimple that formed on your left cheek, so yeah, he fell hard for that, he fell hard for you. But no one knew about your relationship, everyone blind to those little displays of affection: the casual brush of your hands, the secret smiles, the way his hand rested on the side of your neck before he kissed you.
“You're like… staring much. Don't you think?" Carol chuckles beside him, making Daryl look away from you as he takes his plate. "Damn, pookie, you are not subtle at all."
She continues with the bland jokes; the same ones she’s been making since Carol caught the way Daryl looked at you.
"Shut up." He hisses, turning his attention back to the food.
But Carol is not ready to give up.
"I once read that when a feeling is silenced, bottled up or imprisoned, the eyes, the lover’s gazes scream everything."
Daryl frowns, confused.
"What the hell are ya talkin’ ‘bout?"
She chuckles, crossing her arms.
"Oh, nothing. I'm just saying that maybe you should start making it clear to everyone that (Y/N) is with you."
He clears his throat, but the heat on his cheeks burns more than the sun on that season.
"Ya knew?"
"No. You just told me." Carol turns around towards the pot to serve herself a plate, Daryl narrowing his eyes at her, even if she isn’t looking at him.
"But, uh... like what?" He asks after a few seconds, hoping that Carol will understand the question without him having to spell it out for her.
She shrugs.
“I don’t know. Maybe approach her not only when you two are alone.”
Carol smiles at Daryl, walking away to leave him with the weight of his thoughts.
Daryl Dixon is a strong man, to survive, to protect, but as a boy who grew tall but is still a boy on the inside, he feels lost with the feelings he keeps inside him, not knowing what to do with them. He had had casual encounters in bars, but was too drunk to even remember, to even care about them. But you are different, you are special, you are everything. That’s why, even with his heart hammering in his chest, Daryl walks over to the last table, eyes fixed on your profile, his sometimes noisy mind disappearing the rest as he sets his plate down on the table before sitting down next to you, ignoring the confused look from Sean, who was silent for a second in shock before resuming his story of a past life on his farm with the rest.
“The lake water is cold during that season…” He keeps talking, oblivious to the way you hold your breath when you feel Daryl's fingers on your lower back.
But out of nowhere, his hand begins to seek out the skin beneath, a light touch over the edge of your black t–shirt until he finds the warmth of your flesh. Your back arches slightly beneath his calloused fingers on your skin, but you try to control your body as your dirty thoughts begin to overflow.
The small group is so wrapped up in the funny anecdote that no one notices the way Daryl leans in close.
"Breathe, peach, ‘fore ya pass out."
His words are the jolt back to reality, and you let out a breath as you squint, your hand darting from your lap to his leg, only to pinch his skin over his pants with your fingers. As a reflex, his leg jumps slightly, but Daryl takes the attack with a smirk that is almost imperceptible to the rest of them, but not to you.
"Isn't that right, (Y/N)?" Sean glances in your direction, catching your gaze and a confused expression that silently prompts him to repeat his question. "You told me you dated a guy who looked like me."
Confused, you clear your throat.
“Yeah. Uh, but we separated long before all this...”
Mary nods, a young woman who came with Sean’s group.
“Wow. He must have been really handsome. But did you love him, (Y/N)?”
Your skin feels cold again when Daryl's hand leaves your body, even if your skin feels boiling hot when the attention falls on you like the midday sun in that stifling season. As if someone had put their hand on your throat until it was blocked from air, your uncomfortable laughter comes out muffled, but you don’t answer before changing topics. But it's sad that after a short while, Daryl stands up to go to his own cell, his thoughts run wild about the jealousy he feels about that guy, thinking that there was someone who made you feel something when, for him, you were his first everything.
When dinner time is over and everyone returns to their cells, you find yourself timidly entering Daryl's cell only because his door was still open, but staying close to it. He’s lying on his back, eyes fixed on the arrow in his hands just to keep himself busy.
“Hey. Uh, can we talk?”
“’bout what?”
His voice is flat, not a single emotion in it.
“About what happened in the dining room with Sean.”
“What ‘bout it?”
You shrug, even if he isn’t looking at you.
“Don’t know exactly, but I think I made you feel uncomfortable.”
Daryl scoffs.
“Ya didn't make me feel anythin’.”
His words form a lump in your throat, completely silencing the truth you were going to tell, just because your own anxious mind tells you that you don't make him feel anything, at all, like never, and that is painful.
“Okay, uh, I don’t want to force you to talk so… I guess I’m gonna go. Oh, we'll leave early tomorrow for the run, by the way.”
“Yeah, whatever.”
You sigh, walking away.
But jealousy is an irrational force, but a force of nature that resembles a hurricane, or any destructive phenomenon inside a timid and fearful mind: that’s why when the early morning arrives and the first ray of sun shines on the horizon, Daryl decides to switch places with Glenn, just so he wouldn't be stuck with his thoughts of you in a car for hours.
However, the day grows tedious for him, even in the small details like the wind blowing dust into his face, or the way the walkers keep piling up against the fence, taking the place of the lifeless body when Daryl stabs his knife into their skulls. But before his ocean–blue eyes can see the car returning at a worrying speed, his ears can hear the horn, like a desperate call that makes his heart wake up frantically.
“Someone is hurt.” Carol tells him, a second before they start running towards the main fence.
Maggie and Rick are closer and they open the gates, the car raising tornadoes of dust until it stopped inside the prison. Michonne steps out of the passenger seat as Daryl and Carol arrive to meet her, Bob and Glenn following as she begins to narrate the horror story.
“… and one of those men was behind me, (Y/N) shot him but another stabbed her in the abdomen.”
The back door of the car is open, but like a roller coaster of emotions, Daryl’s heart is so up that it threatens to stop because of the fear, as if it stopped pumping blood to replace it with an infinite void. But he refuses to listen to the death whispering in his ear that you won’t make it as he carries you, arms under your shoulders and knees.
“Call Hershel!” He says, to whoever is faster as Daryl starts waking fast, because, even though he wants to run to catch the seconds that seem to slip away, your body feels as fragile as porcelain.
And it’s crazy, it’s wild the way Herself has to perform a surgery to control the bleeding on the same table where the night before your and his playful fingers had teased each other, minutes before ruining it all with your silence and his jealousy. But when it's all over and the madness has cleared like a thick fog, he finds himself sitting on the edge of your bed, taking in the way your closed eyelids make you look like you're just asleep and not unconscious.
“She will make up, Daryl.” Carol says softly, standing close to him. “It’s late, you should rest.”
He shakes his head.
“Nah. I’m stayin’ here with her. Don’ want her to be alone when she does.”
Carol nods, knowing perfectly nothing will change his mind.
“Okay, Pookie, I will come to check on you both in the morning.”
She kisses his forehead, but Daryl is too absent to notice as she leaves the room. The entire prison falls into a deep sleep, and Daryl can hear the almost imperceptible sound of your breathing fighting against the almost deafening silence of his world, telling him without words that you are there, and that you are not going anywhere. But after a while, Daryl lies down on his right side, still close to the edge of the bed to give you all the space you needed, but able to leave only that small space between his body and yours.
“Fuck… now I know I love ya, peach.” He whispers, shy and scared you can hear him even like that. “That seems to be the only answer to why I almost lost ma shit when I saw ya there… bleedin’ out. Jesus, ya would probably laugh if ya saw me here now scared to death like a damn child.” Daryl tries to laugh, a nervous little laugh that falls to a heavy sigh. “Please, wake up, okay? I promise I’ll be better.”
But since there is no answer from the other end, his words hang in the air for the rest of the night, even after Daryl falls asleep. However, as the sun begins to peek through one of the prison's tall windows one more time, your eyelids open slightly, the world in front of you blurring for an instant, until your scattered senses become one and focus on the pain pounding your abdomen.
But still, you turn your head slightly to the side when your peripheral vision catches a body beside yours, smiling weakly at the image before you. Daryl's hair covers part of his closed eyes, but his slight frown reflects his concern, even if you don't know that.
You raise your arm until your hand touches the skin of his face, soft flesh under your fingers.
“Daryl?” Your voice brings him back easily, walking him up from that terrifying dream as he sits up, his hand cupping the side of your face just to feel that you're actually awake.
"Ya okay, peach, ya okay."
“Am I? Since when I’m here?”
Daryl sighs, but he decides to mask his fear with humor, just because he feels like he can spill all his feelings for you in a single second.
“Jus' a day, but ya took yer sweet time to wake up, woman.”
“Sorry.”
You chuckle shyly, but his gaze turns soft.
“Nah. Don’t be, I’m jus’ so glad ya came back.” Concern allows him to smile slightly, before telling you that he's going to go find Hershel.
The examination lasts a few minutes, until you two are left alone, again.
“Daryl…” One more time, your voice pulls his eyes towards yours the moment he sits back down. “Sean was messing with you. You know? I was going to tell you about it that night before all this, but you didn’t want to listen and I didn’t want to push you to.”
Embarrassed, Daryl lowers his head a little bit, watching you through his long hair.
“M’ sorry, peach. I was jealous of ‘em and I ended up sayin’ the wrong shit again.”
Them.
“Daryl, that’s exactly what I was going to tell you that night. There was never another guy, Sean made up that story to get a reaction out of you because even he can see how much you want to kick his ass every time you see him coming." You chuckle. "Besides, he’s gay.”
Daryl blinks, confused like never in his life.
“He is?”
You nod.
“Yep, really gay, but don’t worry, Sean has a crush on Glenn because you look too intimidating for his like.” You want to laugh, but you can see his own shame sinking his heart heavily, feeling the pain and guilt for letting you go alone, because Daryl is a protector: that is in his nature.
And when things went wrong, that weight fell on his shoulders.
"Sorry, I think I screwed this thing between us."
And in a second and with an overwhelming strength, you can see his eyes becoming teary with all the feelings he has inside him.
"No. You didn't, Daryl, unless you want this to end."
But he shakes his head.
"No. I don' want it to ever end."
You nod softly.
"Good." When your hand catches his, Daryl clings to it, but you don't force him to talk because you know better than anyone that it was difficult for him to express himself. "Now come, lie down and try to sleep. Okay?”
He nods, laying down next to you, too overwhelmed to speak his mind at that very moment, his hand still holding yours even after he falls asleep when his mind can no longer carry the full weight of his thoughts. But while he does, you can't help but smile slightly, because now, awake, you are convinced that his voice saying I love you was not just part of the dream you were having, sweet words you hope you can tell him soon.

Loud incorrect buzzer for that anon's failed obvious rage bait! 🔊🔊
Anyways! What do you think Arle's size and shape down there? (I just know she's massive) And do you think her hair is trimmed? Shaved? Or an absolute rainforest? And do you think her hair is fully white or it also has Tufts of black and red like her hair???
Wild request but hey? I know we're all curious what's underneath there.
Yours truly, sane Arle fan
-🎐
in the light of recent events, i‘m sharing my dick headcanons on a few of my favorite hyv women and how they‘d handle you in bed <333
characters: arlecchino, mavuika, clorinde, raiden, feixiao, acheron x fem!reader
cw: size kink, manhandling, bondage,, breeding, unprotected sex, titfucking
ALSO i started working on this prior to your ask so i thought i‘d just merge it together!
arlecchino
₊˚ପ⊹ a grower. is while soft around four inches long and can actually bring a proud length of seven to eight inches when she is hard as a rock for you <333
₊˚ପ⊹ her base is a bit thinner when compared to her shaft, with a slight curve upwards. perfect to hit every important spot inside of you!
₊˚ପ⊹ the black hair surrounding her base is always neatly trimmed along with the happy trail, she takes very good care of both <3
₊˚ପ⊹ carries the same gradient as the one on her arms, with a single arrow running along the downside of her dick
₊˚ପ⊹ she loves, loves, LOVES to feel herself grow hard inside of you, having you sit down on her when she still so so soft not as nearly as big as usual, making it easy to slip inside of your greedy pussy <3
₊˚ପ⊹ i don’t think this needs an explanation but she can’t even fit halfway inside when in her other form. the tummy bulge surely drives her fucking crazy, but a voice in the back of her mind would still be screaming at her to be gentle with you.
₊˚ପ⊹ but plead hard enough and she‘ll make sure to use your stretched out pussy as her own personal fleshlight.
₊˚ପ⊹ has a thing for watching her cum ooze out of your spent hole, she‘d often catch it with her fingers to stuff it back inside. wouldn‘t want to waste anything, right?
mavuika
₊˚ପ⊹ smaller than arle but a thick girl. she can never slip inside completely in one go, let alone without foreplay.
₊˚ପ⊹ a shower actually! her size doesn’t change a lot once hard, there also isn’t a noticeable curve in her shaft
₊˚ପ⊹ by the time she is done with preparing you with her fingers you‘re already a fucked out mess, your clit puffy and aching from how good she fingerfucked you
₊˚ପ⊹ a messy but clean rainforest!
₊˚ପ⊹ she has nightsoul tattoos running up her shaft. do i need to say more????
₊˚ପ⊹ her favorite position has got to be cowgirl, watching you carefully trying to sit down on her cock as you do your best to fit her in, tip already dripping with precum from watching her wife struggle on her dick <333
₊˚ପ⊹ the way she has to hold herself back when you take her into your mouth to restrain from facefucking you. her cock is just a bit too thick for your throat to take, she really don’t wants to hurt you :((((
₊˚ପ⊹ has INSANE stamina and i mean that with all my heart. riding her equals a gym workout.
₊˚ପ⊹ intentionally breeds you. (consensually ofc) just the THOUGHT about getting you pregnant and starting a family with you OH her clothes are GONE.
clorinde
₊˚ପ⊹ lengthy shower! more slim but what she lacks in thickness… eight inches definitely make up for it.
₊˚ପ⊹ has a really nice curve and is actually soso easy to get hard. the bare sight of you sitting naked in her lap or just a messy make out session get‘s her THROBBING.
₊˚ପ⊹ keeps her bush always shaved clean sadly💔 but happy trail is still up tho!
₊˚ପ⊹ tie her up and ride her for all she‘s worth. really. just do it. save a horse, ride a champion duelist.
₊˚ପ⊹ do with her as you please. that woman has literally no backbone when it comes to you.
₊˚ପ⊹ she‘d let you grind on her abs. yes. grind. right on her sixpack. cock dripping with precum as her hands are fixed above her head while she is forced to watch you drench her skin as you drag your pussy over the surface of her muscles UGHHHH
₊˚ପ⊹ i don’t think she‘d be much into breeding, mostly avoiding coming inside and rather wants to dump her load on your cunt instead. or tits. or face. or ass. anywhere.
raiden ei
₊˚ପ⊹ this one was a bit tricky because of her puppet body, but… she is customizable. short, thick, slim, long, curved, not curved, whatever you desire.
₊˚ପ⊹ if you want her to have a happy trail, she‘d upgrade the puppet with great pleasure. same thing with the option to dump her cum into you.
₊˚ପ⊹ oh my, she loves seeing you full of her cum. breeding aspect aside. watching the sticky fluid slowly drip out of you after pumping you full of her…. let her go for another round.
₊˚ପ⊹ yes, she‘d give you a replica of her dick. with the same customizable parts.
₊˚ପ⊹ loves to fuck your tits SO MUCH. no matter how big or small, you‘ll make it work. and her semen spread all over your pretty face<33
₊˚ପ⊹ oh wow mindgames in her plane of euthymia. she‘d totally not go all out there. TOTALLY NOT.
₊˚ପ⊹ tagteaming against you with miko WOW WHO SAID THAT???????
feixiao
₊˚ପ⊹ how do i put it…. a beast. that‘s what she is.
₊˚ପ⊹ length. thickness. she’s got it all. eight inches, ladies and gentlemen. and she‘ll make sure to fit it all the way inside.
₊˚ପ⊹ not curved but who gaf about that when she still manages to hit all your spots almost effortlessly
₊˚ପ⊹ RAINFOREST DICK. that bush is well cared for but she only ever trims it if gets a bit too long for her liking ngh
₊˚ପ⊹ will take extra care of the trail of hair up to her belly button if she sees you have a certain liking towards it
₊˚ପ⊹ pray for your pussy tho once this woman gets in heat. stamina is a foreign word to her. she will be mounting you like a starved wolf
₊˚ପ⊹ but she does come relatively easy on the other sides my, can you even keep all of her inside?
₊˚ପ⊹ just puts you into whatever position she pleases. literally anything. one moment your getting your ass fucked before you suddenly find yourself in a mating press with her tip bruising your cervix!
₊˚ପ⊹ tummy bulges and feixiao go hand in hand. she sometimes slides herself inside extra slowly to watch it appear <3
₊˚ପ⊹ unlike clorinde, she’d have you ride her abs in order to earn her dick. you may only let yourself down on her boner once her skin is covered in your slick
acheron
₊˚ପ⊹ feixiaos cockbuddy. only difference is that acheron is a grower! you‘re laughing until she grows to her full size. then it ain’t funny anymore.
₊˚ପ⊹ mmmmmh due to her roaming through the cosmos all the time, i don’t think she‘d put much care into he purple-white bush, other than cleaning it occasionally.
₊˚ପ⊹ so perfectly curved it has your eyes rolling into the back of your head at the first thrust. she doesn’t have to do anything other than just fuck inside of you.
₊˚ପ⊹ not a fan of condoms but also isn’t too hot on getting you pregnant so she prefers to cum outside, but the sight of her stuffed pussy isn’t something she‘d mind if it does happen somehow
₊˚ପ⊹ her dick grows the same red flower surface once she unsheathes her katana btw.
₊˚ପ⊹ would fuck you in the most banal places, most of them where you two could easily be caught by passerby’s, but she don’t got the time to worry about such stuff.
₊˚ପ⊹ that happy trail would be going crazy tho. like absolutely fucking lickable.
₊˚ପ⊹ big fan of throat fucking you. your gagging, those teary eyes, smeared makeup, drool-cum covered chin, my fucking god she‘d do anything to forever be buried inside your throat.

All the Things I Love about You
pairing: caitlyn kiramman x fem!reader
synopsis: sometimes there are bad days when things don't go your way but luckily there's caitlyn who can turn everything back to the way you like it.
for anyone who's having a bad day :( keep going, im proud of you!!
You don’t mean to say it out loud.
It’s just one of those days—one where your mind feels cluttered and restless, where the smallest things seem to go wrong, and suddenly, everything feels heavier than it should. You don’t know when it started, but now you’re moving around the room, absentmindedly mumbling under your breath, listing every little thing you don’t like about yourself.
“Too indecisive… get flustered too easily… always messing things up…”
Caitlyn looks up from her book across the room, her gaze sharp and steady as she watches you move. At first, she doesn’t say anything, just quietly observing. But when you sigh and mutter something about being “too much of a burden,” she closes her book with a quiet thud.
“Well, I suppose I should chime in,” she says matter-of-factly.
You blink, turning toward her. “What?”
She stands, smoothing out an invisible wrinkle in her blouse, and takes a step closer. “Since we’re listing things, I’d like to add a few of my own.”
Your stomach tightens. “Caitlyn, that’s not—”
She doesn’t let you finish. Instead, she reaches for your hand, lacing her fingers through yours. Her grip is firm but gentle, grounding. “I love the way your eyes light up when you talk about something you’re passionate about.”
You freeze. “Caitlyn—”
“I love how thoughtful you are, how you notice the smallest details about people and remember them,” she continues, as if you hadn’t spoken. “Like the way you always make my tea just how I like it. Or how you remember which side of the bed I prefer, even though I wouldn’t mind switching.”
Her voice is calm, unwavering, and she’s looking at you so intently that it’s impossible to brush off her words.
“I love how you get excited over the little things—how you squeeze my hand when you see a cat across the street, or how you gasp at the first snowfall of the year, like you’re seeing it for the first time.”
A lump forms in your throat, but she isn’t finished.
“I love how expressive you are. How I can read your thoughts just by watching your face.” She tilts her head slightly, studying you with fond amusement. “Like right now. You’re trying to figure out how to change the subject.”
You let out a small, shaky laugh, dropping your gaze. “Maybe.”
She squeezes your hand before letting go, only to cup your face instead, tilting it back up so you have no choice but to meet her eyes. “I love how much you care, even when you try to downplay it. How you always notice when I’m tired and bring me tea before I even ask. How you listen—really listen—when I talk, even when I ramble.”
You swallow hard, struggling to hold her gaze. “Caitlyn, I…”
She leans in just slightly, pressing her forehead against yours. “I love your laugh,” she murmurs. “I love the way you hum when you’re focused, and how you tilt your head when you’re curious. I love how you always reach for my hand, even when you’re half-asleep. And I love how you try to hide your smile when I’m being too sappy.”
You let out another breathless laugh, one that turns into something closer to a soft sniffle as you blink rapidly. “This is unfair.”
She smiles, brushing her thumb over your cheek. “It’s the truth.”
A few seconds of silence stretch between you, warm and quiet. Then, she whispers, “And I love you.”
You squeeze your eyes shut, inhaling slowly before opening them again. “I don’t always feel like I’m worth all that.”
Caitlyn doesn’t hesitate. “You are.”
The certainty in her voice makes something ache deep in your chest.
She tilts your chin up slightly, eyes full of quiet affection. “I don’t care how long it takes for you to believe me. I’ll remind you every time.”
You nod, unable to trust your voice, and she takes it as permission to close the last bit of space between you, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead.
She lingers there for a moment, her lips warm against your skin, before pulling back just enough to press another to your cheek. Then another, slower, against the corner of your mouth, her breath fanning against your lips.
You exhale, tilting toward her instinctively. “You’re really unfair, you know that?”
Caitlyn hums, brushing a stray lock of hair behind your ear. “Mm. But you’re smiling now.”
You roll your eyes, but the warmth in your chest refuses to fade. “Okay, okay. I get it.”
She raises an eyebrow. “Do you?”
You let out a small laugh, shaking your head. “I’m trying.”
Caitlyn’s expression softens even further. “That’s enough.”
She pulls you into a gentle hug, and you let yourself sink into it, letting her warmth chase away the last lingering shadows of doubt.

You wanted this, right? | Lee Jeno
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/d891508551fb2914a5d360e0af68b978/617d8b495bf2a1b0-5a/s540x810/7fccab215ae941c94834d5ce76fc8866191cf86d.jpg)
╰┈➤ pairings! : toxic ex!jeno x reader (jaemin x reader)
warnings! : making out, jealousy, rough sex, spanking, jeno loves your ass, mating press, jeno is a manipulator piece of shit
synopsis! : you tried to make him jealous, the need to prove he no longer has a hold on you, but jeno refuses to let go. no matter how hard you try to move on, he pulls you right back in. and the worst part? you don't really want to escape.
wc! : 2.5k
He wanted to get under your skin and he succeeded, but he had no idea you weren't going to back down, not without a fight. Fine. Two can play this game.
From that moment on, your only mission was to make Jeno regret everything, and you just knew the way. The best way to mess with him is through his jealousy issues and you're ready to play that card. Jaemin was at the party too, you knew because ever since the "break" he'd been texting you, filling the empty space Jeno left behind.
Supposedly it was a break, but judging by the way Jeno was making out with some girl, her blonde locks tangled between his fingers as she sucked bruises into his neck you figured you'd gotten your answer. If Jeno could move on so easily why couldn't you? Jaemin could be a lot of fun for you tonight.
The people dancing and jumping around made it hard to pass between them, but getting to the bar was main priority. Getting drunk was step one in your plan. Only problem was that Jeno and his company were stationed there. He would definitely see you.
Not ideal, at least, not yet. Not without Jaemin.
"Tequila," you ordered your drink, voice stern. A tequila is the way to start out.
While the guy was pouring your drink out Jeno noticed you just as he leaned in for another sloppy kiss with the girl pressed up against the wall beneath him. Only this time he didn't close his eyes and when the position let it he maintained eye contact. His lips moved skillfully, his arms caged her in, palms braced against the wall on either side of her head while her hands clung to his chest and neck.
You could almost feel him against your own lips, getting reminded of how he used to hold you and kiss you just like that. But the only thing you craved right now was the bitter taste of tequila, so when it was ready, you drank it and walked away from him without sparing him another glance.
Getting tequila drunk is the real party drunk. You can feel the bass in your veins, all you want to do is dance and scream the lyrics to the music. A few more shots warming up your system got you just there.
You quickly got a couple of shots in your system with the help of Jaemin and Jeno's other friends. All of them started off with the topic of your and Jeno's break, asking how you felt, if you were okay. But the way they invited you to many drinks, the way their touch lingered on you for a second too long told you all you had to know. They weren't mourning Jeno's relationship, it looks like.
Jaemin soon took all of your attention, any little thought of Jeno vanishing the more you looked into his pretty eyes, the more his hands gripped onto your waist. You couldn't restrain yourself, with your hand wrapped around him you pulled him close enough to kiss his neck. You exhaled against his skin, peppering the side of his neck with wet kisses, his collarbones, and any part of his skin you could reach with your mouth.
"Come on pretty," he murmured, voice thick with amusement, "My lips are up here."You haven't kissed anyone but Jeno in years. You hesitated.
"What's wrong?" he raised his eyebrow with a soft smile, "Need some help?" his finger brushed under your chin, tilting your face up to his.
Jeno easily made out with someone else and you're hesitating about kissing Jaemin. It's pathetic how it was hard for you to do the same, you can't let him win.
With the determination to win, you leaned in capturing Jaemin's lips between yours. He let out a low exhale as he eased into you, his hands sliding down to grip your ass. The warmth of his tongue, the way he melted into you, it was intoxicating.
The hunger, the rush of need felt with Jaemin had long been absent with Jeno. The kiss felt electric, your whole body easing into his, letting his hands roam around your body, his touch mapping out places that had gone untouched for far too long.
As you pulled back Jaemin looked dazed, captivated. His eye locked onto you like he couldn't look away from you, not even if he wanted to. You reveled in the way he craved you, showing you he wanted you.
You danced, body moving with the rhythm of the music, Jaemin's fingers intertwined with yours as he spun you around, laughter escaping your lips as he guided you back against him, your back flush against his chest. You continued to dance, grinding on him with the help of his hand guiding your hips. You reached back, fingers threading through his hair, pulling down for another sloppy kiss, tongue sliding into your mouth. Jaemin groaned into the kiss, his hands exploring your body. But you weren't the only one caught up in the moment.
You could feel Jeno watching.
His gaze was heavy, burning a hole through your body, watching how you moved against Jaemin. He mirrored your movements with the girl against him, his strong hands holding her, pulling her close but his eyes? They were locked onto your every move.
The girl ground against him, spun in his arms, even guided Jeno's hand on her chest but it wasn't enough. She couldn't hold his attention the way you could.Your pride pushed you further, you had to show Jeno he doesn't matter to you anymore.
You leaned up, lips brushing against Jaemin's ear.
"I want you, Jaemin." you whispered, voice laced with lust, "Need you so bad." his breath hitched as your nails dug into his skin.
Jaemin chuckled, the sound sweet but dark, "You asked so nicely, Angel. How could I ever say no to you?" his voice dripped with something sinful, but it was the way his finger slipped under the hem of your dress that sent a shiver down your spine.
"I'll get us something to drink and then we can find a quieter place?" he spoke against your shoulder, pressing a soft, teasing kiss on your tender skin before your hands slipped out of his grip.
And just like that, you were alone.
Alone except for the pair of eyes which still lingered on you, only this time closer than before.
"Enjoying the party?" Jeno spoke through gritted teeth, towering over you as he looked down into your eyes with a piercing gaze.
"Are you not?" you shot back, look unwavering.
"Not anymore."
"Oh? So now I'm bothering you? Don't you have something better to do?" you turned, ready to walk away. He wasn't about to ruin your night, not when Jaemin showed you what it was like to be wanted unlike him.
"No, I don't."
He reached for your hand, stopping you in your tracks, his hold was firm, almost desperate. "You know there's nothing better than you."
You scoffed, "That didn't seem like it five minutes ago when you had your tongue down someone else's throat." He grabbed your chin, forcing you to look at him, "She's not a better kisser than you," Jeno spoke with a low voice, lips inching closer to yours, "And I know Jaemin is not better than me."
As much as you wanted him to be wrong, he didn't lie. You should have fought back, pushed him away, and screamed at him to fuck off, but you didn't. Instead, you melted into him.
Your arms sneaked around his neck, pulling him closer to you. Just for a moment, you felt whole with him, his touch, his lips, even when you knew you shouldn't. His lips moved like they always belonged against yours, like they never left.
Jeno has way too much power over you, you shouldn't crave his touch and shouldn't have ever let him control you like this.
But God you wanted him.
He pulled back, and you thought you were dreaming, that he was never actually here, and you felt your world shatter again, until you felt a pull at your hand. Jeno's warm hand held yours like they used to, guiding you away from the crowd, up the stairs where there were less people. He didn't stop until he found an unoccupied room, locking the door behind you.
"Jeno-" His strong hand grabbed under your thigh, lifting you over his shoulder with ease, drawing a surprised yelp out of you. On the way to the bed he couldn't resist, he slapped your ass with his free hand and harshly bit down on your skin.
"Quiet." he shut you up before you could make a sound, throwing you on the bed. He didn't leave you a second to move he flipped you over and lifted your dress higher until your ass was on full display for him. Jeno's hand roughly threaded the skin on your butt before he kneeled down in front of the bed to press wet kisses over the faded red mark that his hand had left there.
All your attention was focused on him, not noticing as his hand quickly slipped your panties off you, only gasping as you felt his warm, wet tongue on your hole.
You sighed loudly, toes curling at the feeling. You whimpered out his name, his hand moving to spank you again before diving back between your cheeks.
With one finger he collected your dripping arousal before fucking it back into you, his digit curling inside of your tight pussy.
His mouth was occupied, but you wished he would talk to you. Wish he would say anything, apologize to you or just make you feel loved after leaving you for weeks with zero contact. But you didn't have enough willpower to confront him, not when he fingered you so good.
Before you could feel the knot in your tummy build up he stood up, leaving your wet pussy empty and unattended.
"Please Jeno..." he left your mind foggy, that was all you could whimper out.
He let out a low chuckle, "You want me to fuck you so bad it makes you look stupid." he was right, you were his dumb little toy. All it took him was a couple of words, and you threw yourself at him.
If you had more pride, you wouldn't be in this position, but instead, you gripped the sheets when you heard him unbuckle his belt.
"My stupid little girl." his voice was soothing and soft as he spread your cheeks, his tip lingering at your entrance. You bit your lips in anticipation and closed your eyes wanting to focus on him completely.
His cock slowly entered you, filling you up halfway through already, but he didn't stop until your hips were flush against his. Your eyes rolled back, and pained whimpers escaped your lips while you got used to his size again after weeks of not feeling him.
"Fuck, you're so big," you blurted out before you clenched your jaw, a shaky breath leaving through your nose.
You reached behind you and grabbed his thigh to stop him from moving, but he pushed your hand away. The bed squeaked as he put his right leg up on the wooden frame, both his hands roughly grabbing your hips, his weight pressing you into the mattress. The position made it easier for him to thrust into you and fuck you so hard it made your skin red.
"S-slow down," you begged while Jeno fucked you, moves coordinated and rough. He didn't listen, your words might have only encouraged him.
The tip of his dick hit your tight walls right where you needed it the most while his heavy thrusts created a contrast. It hurt so good.
"You thought you could get away with flirting with my friends, hmm?" one of Jeno's hand slipped from your waist to your head, pushing it into the mattress. Your moans became muffled by the sheets each time his dick hit your spot.
You couldn't reply even if you wanted to.
"Kissing with Jaemin right in front of me? What have you become? You're a slut now?"
"Fuck—"
"Answer me, Baby." a pained hiss escaped you as he took hold of your hair and pulled you up slightly, forcing you to arch your back.
You grabbed over his hand, hoping he would loosen his grip, "I only want you."
"Liar."
All you could hear from him was heavy breathing, he didn't let out another sound. The sound of skin slapping took over the whole room only a faint sound of music infiltrated through the closed door.
He let go of your hair, your head fell back into the mattress. As you looked behind you, Jeno's lips were pursed as if he was actively trying to keep in his noises. His neck glistened from the sweat, skin decorated with purple bruises that he got not even an hour ago. With each thrust, his moves became clumsy and desperate, you knew he was getting closer and so were you.
He leaned over you to angle his hips, making you almost scream as he hit your spots over and over, pleasure taking over your whole body. All you could do was close your eyes and take everything he's giving you.
"Oh god..." tears swell in your eyes, but he didn't stop.
"Fuck," he held his breath, selfishly chasing his own high, only using you for his pleasure.
You couldn't even warn him, the band in your tummy tightened and finally snapped, and you came all over his cock.
Your legs began to shake from overstimulation, still Jeno showed no signs if stopping yet.
"Fuck, Jeno..." he couldn't hold in his groans anymore, he thrust inside you a few more times before pulling you against himself and burying his dick deep inside of you. His muscles tensed up as he came inside you, filling you up completely. Jeno took a few moments to himself before he pulled out and collapsed on top of you.
A shiver ran down your spine as his cold finger traced your arm, his hold tightening around you. The air was thick, with everything left unsaid, both of you needing a moment to breathe before facing the inevitable.
"Baby," Jeno whispered softly, his voice almost hesitant, "I don't like seeing you with other men."
You let out a heavy sigh, too drained to argue with him, "I don't like seeing you kiss other girls either, but you broke up with me."
"I know." his grip on you tightened, his lips finding the spots he'd been rough with earlier, pressing gentle, remorseful kisses to your skin.
"I'm sorry, I want to be a better boyfriend for you."
"I love you."
Did he mean it? You weren't sure. But you loved him. And right now that was all that mattered.
You can't resist him, not even Jaemin can have your attention the way Jeno does.

Synopsis: Billie promised her daughter Disneyland a week prior
Billie was exhausted.
The kind of exhaustion that seeped into her bones, made her eyelids heavy, and turned every sound into a dull hum in the back of her head. The week had been a whirlwind of studio sessions, meetings, and barely-there sleep, and now? Now she was lying flat on her back, staring at the ceiling, barely clinging to consciousness.
And then—bounce.
The mattress dipped.
Then again.
A small giggle.
Billie groaned internally. Here we go.
“Mommy,” Rosie’s tiny, determined voice rang out.
Billie cracked one eye open just in time to see her daughter mid-air, bouncing high before landing on her knees beside her.
“Wake up,” Rosie whined, pressing her tiny hands into Billie’s chest.
Billie sighed, rubbing a hand down her face. “Bug, what’re you doing?”
Rosie’s face lit up, excitement practically vibrating off her small frame. “It’s Disneyland day!” she squealed, bouncing again.
Billie swore she felt her soul leave her body.
Shit.
She had promised, hadn’t she? A whole week ago, when exhaustion wasn’t gripping her like a vice, when the idea of taking a whole day to run around after an overexcited five-year-old didn’t seem like absolute hell.
Now, the mere thought of standing in long lines, pushing through crowds, and making sure Rosie didn’t bolt toward every princess in sight made her want to cry.
Billie groaned, pulling Rosie into her arms to stop the bouncing. “Bug,” she started carefully, rubbing slow circles into her daughter’s back. “Can we… maybe go another day?”
Rosie gasped.
Like, full-on, dramatic, offended gasp.
“But—you pinkie promised,” she whined, holding up her tiny pinkie in betrayal.
Billie winced.
That’s when Y/N walked in, fresh out of the shower, towel wrapped around her body, hair damp. “What’s going on?” she asked, brows raised as she took in the scene.
Rosie whipped around, pointing at Billie with the utmost seriousness. “Mommy’s trying to cancel Disneyland!”
Y/N bit back a smile. “Oh, she is, huh?”
“Not cancel,” Billie grumbled. “Just reschedule.”
Rosie crossed her arms, lips pressing into a stubborn pout. “Same thing.”
Y/N hummed, sitting on the edge of the bed. “I see. But Rosie, you know Mommy’s been working really hard this week, right?”
Rosie frowned, thinking. “Yeah…”
“And don’t you want her to be super awake and not grumpy when we go?” Y/N teased, booping her daughter’s nose.
Rosie giggled, then seemed to consider her options. After a long, dramatic pause, she nodded. “Okay,” she said, sitting up straighter. “But only if we make a deal.”
Billie let out a small, amused huff. “Oh, you wanna negotiate now?”
Rosie nodded, eyes twinkling. “Yep! If we don’t go today, then…” She tapped her chin, thinking hard. Then—“I get two bedtime stories tonight.”
Billie raised a brow. “That’s all?”
“And—” Rosie added quickly, holding up a tiny finger, “—Mommy takes me to get froyo. Just me and Mommy.”
Y/N grinned, nudging Billie. “That sounds fair, don’t you think?”
Billie sighed, defeated but amused. “So let me get this straight—you’re okay with going to Disneyland another day as long as we read you two bedtime stories and Mommy takes you to get froyo?”
Rosie nodded, very pleased with herself.
Billie smirked, pulling her into a hug. “You drive a hard bargain, bug.”
Rosie giggled, snuggling in. “I know.”
Y/N leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Billie’s temple. “See? Problem solved.”
Billie hummed, squeezing Rosie tighter. “Yeah, yeah. But next time, I’m making you do the negotiating.”
Rosie perked up, grinning at Y/N. “Mommy, can we practice now? I wanna be president!”
Billie groaned, while Y/N laughed.
“Baby,” Y/N teased, “if you can convince your mom of anything, I think you will be.”
