so im gonna lay it out. my cracked up theory to keep briar involved because i swear to fuck im going to be so fucking sad if she's not even hinted at or mentioned at all
LeBlanc stole info from Ambessa, we don't know what or how much she knows
This is by far the most important imo because it can tell LeBlanc a few things. For one I think that like, brair being similar to warwick in that she's unstopable animalistic killing machine is definitely there, but also on the flip side she's also similar to Vander, someone who LeBlanc would have information from via Ambessa (possibly)
If you think for a second, LeBlanc has possibly all the memories or information that Ambessa had, so she knows all about Vander and about the experiments with WarWick, this also means she understands what Vander's greatest strength is; love. Emotion. The beast is powerful and near indestructable but hard to control, but the way to "control" it is to connect to it's humanity
LeBlanc, has Briar. A creature she helped create that turned tobe a mindless killing machine that was nearly impossible to train or teach; but it's not indicated that bonding was part of this. LeBlanc now knows the way to control or harness the physical power of Briar, is to connect to her emotional side like how Powder and Vi did with Vander, and how due to that it caused Ambessa to lose whats his name.
LeBlanc has the information that if she can connect to the person that exists inside the hunger, Brair herself, she can control the immense power that Briar possesses via emotional manipulation and ect. She has the keys now to it
2. They have to be bolder.
LeBlanc states they need to stop playing "safe".
Well im sorry idfk what else is less safe and more bold, than basically releasing a 2nd warwick but one that ACTUALLY CANNOT BE KILLED, into the world.
This is anextremely bold move to release the blood golems not only because it allows LeBlanc to see how far Briar has changed in her time being locked up, but also to see if she's ready to connect to and still holds her power/strength or if the starvation, time away, and not- training has weakened her.
Both of these things can be accomplished by setting a helpless little worker clone who happens to get too close to her precious daughter, and is the perfect little snack for her to eat--- all the while, Briar's Frenzy can see the signs LeBlanc is setting--
3. WHAT IF THE WRITING ISN'T BRIAR'S HUNGER. BUT IT'S LEBLANC TRYING TO HELP CORRAL HER/LEAD HER OR REACH OUT THE SAME WAY MEL IS DOING AT THE GATES-
So at one point I thought that these symbols, writings whatever were the Hunger talking to Briar, but i think it might be something more akin to what Mel and what we see LeBlanc actually do- And I think some of these could have been set up by LeBlanc herself
We see Mel at the gate, which very clearly has a black rose mark on it, be given a vision and more of these patterns that turn into words and noxian script
and we see that
LeBlanc is also writing this same stuff--
Waving her hand the ink manifests into words, images, visions, stories-- there are traces of LeBlanc left by her in these places that Mel is reading and getting visions from by connecting to LeBlanc's magic or the remnants of it, or I assume as such since she gets a reaction by reaching out with her own magic to the symbols carved into it-
so........
What if those words, those patterns in the walls were left for Briar, who like Mel can see the patterns in the wall that others can't.
The Prison was Briar's whatever the fuck it's called that Mel was put in when she was "tested", only because of the Pillory, Briar can't access her magic the same way Mel can, she needs the help to activate her frenzy, thet blood, before she can escape and follow the messages and signs around her that LeBlanc put in place-
That's why the next move is "bold".
Because it's LeBlanc using Briar, seeing the ways she can be taught and controlled and how extremely vital and powerful she can be, if she can learn to control herself and the magic.
and who knows, maybe LeBlanc wants Mel to follow as well, because maybe Mel can help curb that hunger in Briar and the "empathy" allows Mel to also harness Briar's hunger without losing control entirely to it, or could allow briar to use it without worry.
#out of frenzy // ooc#long post#;; or maybe mel's empathy could help kill mordekaizer or whatever the fuck#;; and briar being the tank to just not be able to be killed#;; while mel siphons his powers away till hes gone#;; theyd be the ultimate team :V
