She chews at her fingers as she paces in front of him. Her worn boots scuff up his luxurious rug as she speaks although, she doesn't meet his eye or stop pacing. She felt like if she held too still, it would cement this further into reality.

She stops to meet his eyes then and can't help but look sorry.

"Yeah," Sabrina answered instinctively, but then quickly autocorrected. "I mean, it's nothing really. It's just..." She trailed off, finding it difficult to explain what it was she was feeling. How was she supposed to say it without sounding super insulting? Especially when no one else seemed to be getting these vibes. Was she being crazy? Or did the Morningstar in her mean she had like an extra celestial sense?

Wait, was that even a thing?

"I'm getting this really weird vibe. Not like in a creepy way, in a..." In a 'can't put my finger on it' way that's making me wonder whether I need to be suspicious, she thought to herself. "You haven't like, I don't know, summoned Lucifer, or some other celestial thing, lately, have you? Or maybe had a day trip to Hell?"

with lupin's head still nested on her lap, she easily catches his wrist before he could boop her nose for the tenth time today and gazes down at him with a daring, yet playful look in her eye, almost as if she was trying to coax him into poking her nose again.

❝ having fun down there? ❞ louise's tone is slow and deliberate with a loving murmur added at the end of her rhetorical question — all intended to shatter that handsome, stone cold face of his, of course. this old game of theirs will never grow old as per usual.

without giving lupin the chance to answer; she begins to release her gentle grip on him and boops his nose with a frozen index finger, watching as the blue ice slowly starts to sprawl. it'll probably take a few minutes for it to melt, maybe more, but for now? now she'll admire the sight of her frost glittering against the dim lights of the living room, making his pale complexion seemingly come back to life. ❝ hmm. look at you, mon cœur. you're glowing. just like the full moon tonight. ❞

Hilda carried on with finishing the final touches on the fifth batch of jars of the homemade lemon curd. Each jar was glistening in the sunlight streaming through the kitchen window, the yellow gingham ribbons tied in pretty bows around each gold lid. Hilda took a step back to check that the final bow was just as inviting as the rest, gave a little nod of approval and set it aside with the rest.

It was only then that she realised he'd been speaking.

"Sorry," she asked, blinking in surprise, giving a little an apologetic smile. "Miles away there; did you say something?"

Closing her eyes, Zelda took a deep breath and counted to ten. It was just a broken window, she reminded herself, and it was something easily replaced. "How.." Zelda took another breath before opening her eyes to better address the young warlock. "What happened exactly," she asked, voice under tight control.

@v011d sacrificed: "What is your opinion on the dark and the void?" He'd always wanted to ask Peter this but had never found the right moment to ask him until now and he felt his question was fitting now that the nights were starting to draw in.

     ❛ hm. i hate to admit it, but i was one of those guys who was scared of it. like, slept-with-a-night-light scared of it. i always had to fall asleep with my tv or the landing light on. honestly, ever since my mom tried to burn me alive in my sleep, i was pretty scared to close my eyes, nevermind lay in the dark... ❜

     peter pauses, shuffling a little. his perspective has inevitably changed as he's aged. it would have regardless of whether he'd endured the trauma he did or not, but the fact that he did warped his opinions all the further.

     ❛ but now, it's like... i dunno. ever since paimon and am, i view things differently. because i know more, y'know? so now, i find the dark pretty comforting. it's quiet and peaceful and it obscures me as much as it obscures everything else. you really can just be when it's dark. ❜ he smiles then, a lofty shrug performed.  ❛ no opinion on the void. that was just my head for years. nothing special. a little scary from time to time, though. ❜

She often wonders about the relationship that Lupin has with his family, with his sister. If they are close knit, or if they are widespread and don't particularly interact; intrinsically the same way she is with her family and what of she considers to be The Cult. Also, does it bother him if she is The Anti, and if she accepts her destiny, would it change the way they interact with each other? Would he automatically deem her as soulless and evil, or if he would still care about her enough to save her from herself. Many would try to fix her, as though she were made of fragments. But she finds that the more she delves into her darkness, the more she likes it ─── the more that she thrives there. Would he challenge her, oppose her? He wouldn't be the first person that would and certainly won't be the last, but she is a morbidly curious girl by nature.
