“Delivering gifts to all tha’ good girls and boys of tha’ world!” Chris stated loudly, a proud smile on his lips before he tried to lurch forward past Lilli into her home. This sack was quite frankly murdering him. A fine red mark was shown on his head after his knocking attempt, yet he continued to smile brightly to his dear friend. “An’ I think someone’s been a good girl, an’ deserve their gift!” Chris hummed thoughtfully as he winked to Lilli, and then he dropped his bag between them both.

She stares and listens to the blonde, when he spoke before her eyes slided to the sack he had with him and then back to him. Oh. He was going around and giving gifts to his friends huh? Well, that would explain why she hadn’t seen him all day. And looking at that super full sack told her that she wasn’t the last one who is going to receive a gift today huh? Well... good that he was here then, because Lilli had something for him too. 

The young woman stepped a little aside so that Christopher could get inside her apartment. That sack looked heavy, and she would rather not have him get crushed by it in front of her door. The mage didn’t even reacted to his wink at all. She was used to that by now, and there was no reason for her to... mind it anymore. Though she gave him a small smile at his words. She and a ‘good girl’? Suuuuure. Whatever he says.

“You... You didn’t had to get me anything, Chris... But uh, vell... I did get you something too. Do you vant it now or later?”

He seemed busy. Heh... Like everyone today... And she didn’t wanted to load him with her present. Even if it was just something small.

Of course. Lilli had already expected that Chris comes with that mistletoe stuff again this year. In germany they didn’t had this tradition actually, yet the girl knew about it and it was probably something completely usual for the blonde. And there they stood under a mistletoe which Chris had totally hung up there. And the mage was… tempted to just hiss at him again. Yet… she felt like he… didn’t deserved that. No. Chris was so nice. Even to her who always hissed and was mean to him. So… maybe she should just do it?

With a long drawn sigh, and with her face completely red, the young woman pulled him down a little, before her lips met his. She didn’t made the kiss last to long though, and soon Lilli pullled away again while averting his gaze.

🎁 - Inside the gift, there would be a number of small items given to Lilli, alongside a small note that read 'Thank you!'. The items were a small box of chocolates, a Batman comic, and a fine, knitted scarf, in a sequence of black and orange stripes. Either due to the approach of Halloween, or Lilli's outfit, was the scarf these colours.

🎁 - give my muse a present

Lilli hadn’t really expected Christopher to give her a present. She especially didn’t knew for what reason he gave her anything at all. Her birthday was like in a few days, and she doubted he even knew when it was. The young mage had also expected something dumb, or maybe even something perverted from Chris but… it wasn’t anything of that…

Slowly she took out every item individually to look at it. First the chocolates. Followed by the comic. It had actually made her smile a little. Chris had told her that he liked to read comics. Lilli may wasn’t the biggest fan of them but it was still really cute of him to give her one. She put the comic aside for now to read it later, and finally took out the scarf and the note… The scarf was… really neat, and so soft. And the note already told her why he gave her these gifts in the first place… Though now, the young woman suddenly hesitated…

When was the last time she actually received such gifts?

On her birthdays she usually got something like coupons for something or birthday cards from friends or colleagues. But not really… gifts like these. The last time would have been from her sister… And that was like… two years ago? Had it been actually this long since she got a real thought-out gift from someone? Lilli couldn’t remember but… it made her sad?

She slowly put back the scarf and the note back into the box, before she suddenly started to sob lowly. She didn’t deserved these gifts… She didn’t deserved someone like Chris! Heck! She lied to him! She hit him! Inulted him! And he still was so nice to give her gifts just to say ‘thank you’? Why? Just because she let him stay at her place? She still had been mean to him! She didn’t even told him about what she could do! How she could help him get ride of R! But Lilli didn’t! She didn’t deserved his kindness! And neither his gifts!

By now her sobs had turned a little louder, and Lilli felt already hot tears streaming down her cheeks. No! She shouldn’t cry! She hates to cry! Quickly the mage covered her eyes with her arm, trying to stop the tears and also to hide her face. This was so pathetic… but she just…

… She didn’t deserved Christopher…

But dates usually ended with… romantic stuff… And she had literally no experience with that! Not to forget that this was Christopher! And she still couldn’t tell what she was feeling about him! Did she hate him or not?
