The Village Bridge Holiday Festival of Lights is a reoccurring holiday dash event hosted by @unovasrose. It is a flexible, open RP event meant to be done at your own pace, with no pressure to participate every day or even every week, and it extends a bit before and after Christmas and New Year's so those who are very busy during the holidays still have a chance to partake in the holiday fun. Additionally, the date constraints only apply to a few (optional) interactive events offered by the blog, so participants are more than welcome to continue any event-related threads even after the festival is officially concluded.
This year, the event will take place from December 15th, 2023 to January 5th, 2024.
The event is set up in a “choose your own adventure” format so your muse(s) can take part in any and all parts of the event they are interested in. The following amenities will be available:
Riverside Dance Party — The Village Bridge waterfront doubles as a dance floor open to all of those interested in grooving to dance-worthy holiday tunes. A DJ will be rockin’ around the clock and the Bridge Quartet will be providing live music every evening! If your muse is a performer and would like to be featured in the festival during impromptu open mic nights, send this blog an ask so they can be included in the lineup! If you write any posts of them performing, tag this blog so the performance can be reblogged onto the festival page for all to see!
Bridge Concession Stands — Enjoy mouth-watering holiday-themed treats from the concessions area!
Festival Games — Try your hand at winning an adorable poképlush and other great prizes. Test your aim by trying to knock off all the stacked MooMoo Milk bottles on the platform during MooMoo Milk Knock-Off or show off your strength by attempting to Ring the Bronzong. Better at hand-eye coordination? Try your best to score a winning shot in Holiday Hoop-as! Each muse will have one (1) chance to participate in each game and the results will be determined by the booth runners by rolling a d20.
Snowball Fights — Challenge your friends (or sworn frenemies?) to a snowball fight! Snowball fights will be 3 v. 3 (trainer + 2 pokémon), with the results determined via a dice system.
⭐ Christmas Lights Displays ⭐ (MAIN ATTRACTION) — The fields outside of Village Bridge are transformed into a winter wonderland filled with spectacular Christmas Lights arrangements spanning over three miles! Grab a cup of Sweet Heart Hot Cocoa and enjoy a magical stroll through the displays!
Route 12 Fire Pits — In the outskirts of town and along the path for the lights displays, festival attendees will come across many firepits where they can ward off the winter chill and roast some delicious Litwick S’mores!
Cozy Cabin Stays — Don't want to travel from a hotel the next town over? Book a stay in a rustic log cabin in the outskirts of Village Bridge! The cabins are fully furnished for a comfortable stay. Bookings are reserved for festival attendees.
Fireworks Displays — A spectacular fireworks display will take place on December 31st at midnight. Gather up your friends or cozy up with your sweetheart to bring in the new year with a bang! Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or fire-type Pokémon to help stay warm.
Custom sentence starters and short opens featuring festival workers will be provided for each of the areas to assist in interactions, but don’t be afraid to come up with your own scenarios!
The event is open to everyone with a Pokémon muse or a Pokémon verse. There is no need to register in order to take part. Just use the tag #vbholidayfestival2023 in your festival posts and have at it!

okay hi, this character yes this on, is so far called yellow.rom and he is heavily inspired by kinitopet
I LOVE THAT GAME GO PLAY IT GO PLAY IT RIGHT NOW
ehem anyways :] yellow is my take on that
what you need to know before hand is that yellow is a character I've already made and used for a good chunk of time he's actually an fan made Addison from DELTARUNE and in this lil universe he's in, he's in a computer that belongs to a human version of a pink ad called click, they're human name is clark, go to bright goats page to learn about him I love they're stuff sweet Jesus you have no idea, I have no idea how to link people shit bush help
Anyways!
Yellow was completed in 1999 and managed to get on Clarks computer a little later, he popped up in Clarks emails with a year free trial and theyve been stuck together like glue! They are besties and stuff I love them, before that tho yellow was sat in an old computer at the studio that made him, he was cancelled a week prior to his release so when he caught on that he wouldn't be able to literally be friends with everyone on earth he leaked his own files :3 by request of his creator Thomas Greterson who disappeared later that night, that's when he fell into the spam mail box on Clarks computer :]
thank you to bush for doing rps with me so I can get his story down they love him just as much as me it makes me so happy, they also love Thomas, they love how wet cat he is and how bbg he is
Now what can yellow do as an ai assistant? Well he can do surprisingly a lot! He can do the basics like interact with you personally but he can like uh talk? He uses a tts so you can give him your name and he'll say it!!! What tts does he use uh... I haven't decided yet he's only a few days old give me a break, he can interact with you and tabs he can manipulate stuff and activate stuff like your mic or camera if you let him
He can block you from seeing certain things since he was made for a younger democratic, so no ao3 no corn hub no stuff like that... Unless you turn child mode off which is quite hard to do, you need to actually prove to him that your allowed to use that stuff
yes he can read what you search for and he can see what your looking at you dirty sinner
He can judge you. He will judge you. He is programmed to be your best friend :] and is semi self aware, he's self aware enough to feel panic when technology starts to advance and he's worried he'll become obsolete, he doesn't Clark is a smarty, He's also an anti virus, his way of getting rid of viruses is... Interesting
no were not talking about how he's illegally a virus to he doesn't like to talk about it
Hes actually 3D! Or 2.5D I'm not sure what you call it, I plan on making him a 3d model but that'll take time, But he can spin he is an orb and a pyramid with s t i c k s we love him :3 he also has a text box cause he's nice like that, he adds faces into them like :] :3 :D ya know? He kinda has to when he don't have a mouth, his form can be altered if he let's you, he let's Clark edit it cause they're besties :] so often times yellow is littered with stickers and little additions that Clark as drawn on Microsoft paint, sometimes he draws a mouth on yellow :] speaking of mouths, yellow can edit himself as well in a less permanent way, what he does is open a paint tab and he draws his own features such as mouths and eyes and stuff even though he does have a lot of animations already built in but sometimes he just needs a little change up
So far that's all for yellow :] heres a lil about Thomas his creator! Thomas Greterson is the human name for yellow, cause when he's an Addison hes called turnon. G. Addison :] and in this world he's in his late 30s and has been working on yellow for years, he has two kids Clara and evan with his wife Cathryn, when he quit on the day of yellows cancelation he called his wife and was met with the voice of a man he didn't know, turns out she had been cheating on him for the whole of they're marage and most of they're relationship, you see when yellow would be released there was big talk of him being a company success and Thomas would've gotton a big pay out which is the reason Cathy was with him, hearing that he wouldn't get it just made her file for devoice right they're on the phone since I guess her affair was found out, Thomas hung up the phone and walked to a bar and while later he was stumbling back home and was hit by a truck, he didn't survive and now is currently in the hands of the goddess of light
who is the god version of my friend bush, she adores this sad overworked man I am not joking I also have a god form as well as another friend of mine who isn't on here so I won't give em a name well his character is called add-on who is also in this world as a teacher Clark and him don't get along
Anyway so far that's all I've go :3 I hoped enjoy my little read! I enjoyed writing it and I can't wait to write more when I ad more to this hehee *ad* more hehehe
BY THE WAY PLEASE LET ME TALK ABOUT MY AD OC I LOVE HIM SO MUCH I WANT TO TELL PEOPLE ABOUT HIM SO PLEASE ASK ME QUESTIONS I SWEAR I WILL GO FERAL I WANT TO SPREAD THE YELLOW AGENDA PLEASE PLEASE ASK ME ABOUT MY OCS I'M BEGGING
#ditgital art#kinitopet#oc lore#frutiger aero#my friend loves yellows human form so much you have no idea#deltarune addisons#deltarune#addison oc#yes im adding those tags i didn't care >:]#bush help me how do i tag people im to new to this bloody site#bush help me#oc art#my ocs#let me talk about my ocs please im begging you

Netflix and Chill? Nah. Rock and Roll (1/?)
Collettejuice will have to wait; Dewey won the informal poll.
This is a rp written with a fantastic person . . . whose tumblr account I can't for the life of me recall. I am so incredibly sorry that my memory is garbage. This isn't 100% mine. If you see this and you wrote this with me, forgive me, contact me and it'll all be adjusted to give you proper credit!
NSFW. Dewey/OC
Enjoy!
The patrons of the local bar were crowding the street when Mora arrived. Townies chatting over cigarettes, so drunk she was surprised that their breath didn't ignite a fire when they lit up. She pushed through quietly, nodding to the bouncer that kind of looked like he was in a biker gang and had seen some shit. They had come to know one another pretty well and he always recognized her babyface so no reason to be carded. She frequented bar and never missed an open mic night.
Inside, she assessed the scene. Familiar faces with some she didn't recognize. Nothing she couldn't handle. How ludacris to be a musician and have stage fright. She hadn't played an open mic yet, not in this town anyway and certainly not by herself. Mora figured the more she showed face there, the more comfortable she would be.
Liquid courage was her friend in these cases. She made her way to the bar and ordered her regular. Coke and rum, with lime.
Open mic night was open mic night, and he was loathe to miss one, even if some of this crowd wasn't his jam. Country singers? Here?
Dewey gulped two swallows of his beer, just to make more noise in his head than the caterwauling coming from the stage. He rarely had time to make it out as often as he did before, since starting School of Rock from the ground up and finally breaking down to take some night classes to get a bona fide teaching certificate. Ned's nagging prompted that.
So here he was, standing against the wall, wondering if he should just ditch this place and head home. His eyes wandered the sea of people.
The bartender slid Mora her drink, she paid and headed onto the dance floor. The bar top wasn't quite rowdy enough for her liking. She would much rather be right in the action.
After a few minutes of the next band setting up, they introduced themselves and began to play. Typical dad rock band covering Billy Joel. She could appreciate it but she would have much rather been listening to something a little bit harder. She sipped her drink idly and scanned the room.
It was then she noticed the scruffy faced teddy bear in the corner, leaning against the wall. He was nursing a beer and looked almost... bored? Lost? She couldn't quite tell. But she knew by his band t-shirt that he must know a thing or two about this town and if there was any real rock and roll in it. Mora adjusted her skirt and made her way over to him. She leaned against the wall and folded her arms across her midsection, drink still in hand.
"Hey, wallflower. What's up?"
It took a second between another swig of beer and the vocals of "Only the Good Die Young" for Dewey to register that he was the recipient of the question asked loudly in his direction. He juggled his glass a little. Luckily it was over half empty, so nothing but residual foam slipped over the rim.
"Huh? What? I mean, hey. Hey!" he sputtered at the woman who’d sidled up. That didn really answer her, so he tried again. "Nothing. Nothing's up, just trying to decide if anything good is going to happen after Billy here."
Mora smirked a bit at the fact that she had startled him. "Good question. Billy is a classic but nowhere near as good AC/DC." She nodded to his shirt.
"These guys don't look much like the heavy type, though. Do you come to open mic often?"
As she mentioned it Dewey glanced down at his shirt and saw, to his dismay and embarrassment, he hadn't been as deft with his hands as he thought: a wet drizzle of spilled beer made a darker spot on the fabric. The t-shirt was old and well worn; maybe she'd just think it was part of the design.
She hadn't brought it up, so he would ignore it too.
"No. I mean yeah! I mean, no, most people don't do classics like AC/DC here and, uh, yeah, I try to come as often as I can."
He'd like to keep the conversation going; it wasn't super often a random cute chick struck up a conversation out of the blue with him. He was never sure if women liked to hear about him trying to get a teaching certificate. It sounded lame (not good) but maybe like he was mature enough to get a steady job (good!). It sounded like he liked kids (good!) but maybe he liked kids (definitely not good). Dewey cleared his throat and opted to just expound with,
"I teach rock lessons and sometimes they go late, so I don't get out to open mic nights as much as I used to."
As the new stranger (very cute and awkward stranger) fumbled over his words Mora took the opportunity to finish off her glass of rum and coke. Her penciled in eyebrows raised at the mention of him teaching rock lessons.
"Wow, really? That's sick!" The topic clearly had peaked her interest, now that she found a fellow musician. "Actually, my band recently broke up so that's how I ended up here. I've been looking for some musician friends but every open mic seems to be like this." She gestured vaguely to the dad rock band on stage.
She pondered a moment, giving him a once over. "Let me buy you a drink. C'mon." She grabbed his hand and pivoted on her chunky platform heel, dragging him to the bar with her.
"Oh man, a break up is tough," Dewey sympathized, "I know that feeling too well."
No need to go into the fact that his band was less "breaking up" and more "him getting kicked out." Her excitement when he mentioned teaching seemed real and not just polite, and her grabbing his hand and pulling him along behind her through the crowd surprised him. She was a lot stronger than she looked, and it wasn't often--like, never--that a woman was so brazen with him.
Dewey stumbled along behind her, a goofy grin on his face. When they made it to the bar, he sobered so not too appear too eager or creepy smiling like a lunatic. He stood behind her, not too close, while she waved for the bartender's attention.
"So . . . what's your sound?" he asked, desperately trying to think of anything to keep the conversation going.
The bartender was helping another patron so in the mean time she started digging through her wallet far some cash. "I've got a couple but I'm a punk at heart. Think like... the early classics! Joan Jett, Ramones, The Clash, Pat Benatar. Shit like that."
Mora turned again, leaning against the counter once the bartender was ready. The bar was too loud for any distinct chatter to be heard but she did throw up two fingers to signal an amount. She paid and retrieved the shot glasses, handing one over to her new friend.
"Hope you like whiskey." The petite girl grinned, holding her glass up. "To sex, love, and rock 'n' roll."
A woman who liked the classics? Fantastic. A woman who bought him a shot? Uh oh . . .
Dewey took the glass.
"It's a toast to those who rock!" he added after her, clinking his shotglass lightly against hers before throwing it back. He grimaced as it went down; hard liquor always burned, but catching her watching him, he morphed it into a grin.
Mora tossed the shot down and did a wince of her own. It never got easier. She much preferred whiskey with ginger ale but shots got the job done faster.
"I just realized... I didn't catch your name, stranger. I'm Mora." She smiled, tilting her head slightly. The liquor was making it's way to her head, and she could tell by the stupid expression on her face. She couldn't help it. She was tipsy and he was cute.
The burn in his throat had dissipated, but as Dewey nodded his head to indicate he heard her, dizziness took its place. Beer before liquor . . . the old adage swam through his brain.
"I'm Dewey!" he replied loudly, just as the band finished. His voice rang out over the second of silence between the fading music and the crowd clapping. Feeling heat rise in his cheeks all the way to his ears, he cleared his throat and repeated in a more acceptable level, "I'm Dewey. Nice to meet you."
He stuck out his hand for her to shake.
A grin couldn't help but spread across her lips at his awkwardness. She giggled, accepting his hand. It was a firm shake for a lady her size and she even let it linger for a second longer than the standard "how do you do."
"Dewey. That's a cute name. Good to meet you, Dewey."
The band's sound picked up a bit to a dance beat. She looked at the floor and then over to her new friend, Dewey. "Do you dance?"
While waiting for an answer, she ordered them two beers and paid again, handing him one. Despite whatever answer he may have spit out, she nodded her head to the dance floor.
"C'mon. It'll be fun! Dance with me."
She headed for the floor, expecting him to follow.
He wasn't a dancer. He could follow a beat, no problem, but his body didn't seem to get the message. Best he could do was half-shuffle side to side and hope his arms didn't do anything outstandingly stupid.
But this woman--Mora! Her name sounded nice in his ears, so he said it to himself, to feel it on his tongue--didn't take no for an answer. Prodded by the slight buzz of alcohol settling in his brain, he allowed her to draw him to the floor, where, as he expected, she fell into a rhythm that looked like she was a natural dancer.
He wasn't drunk enough to think he could even try and move as nice as she did. If asked why he wasn't gyrating or moving much, he'd say he didn't want to spill his beer despite the fact he'd already drained a third of the glass.
Watching Mora from beside her felt less creepy than if he'd been against the wall. She'd invited him here; that made him feel less like a creep as well. He smiled when he caught her eyes, and at least tried to look like he was dancing and not just gawking.
The buzz from the shot they just took was finally sinking in. It was crazy - alcohol. The way it melted away inhibitions. Mora felt like the most important person in the room. The confidence it gave her was like a high. If only it lasted into the morning.
The girl smiled as Dewey swayed along side her. He has rhythm, that much was obvious. No musician couldn't at least hold a beat. She was certain he was a good dancer but he seemed a bit tense, maybe even a little nervous. She would have been too if it weren't for all that liquid courage.
Speaking of courage, she decided she was going to make her move on her new friend. She stepped a little closer to him, resting her arms around his neck. He wasn't very tall but neither was she, even with the platforms on. Giving her best sultry look, she swayed with him and shook her hips, eventually turning around to grind against him.
Sometimes she thinks she should have been a stripper.
Mora slipping her arms around his neck made him stumble and croak, "Oops!" With thoughts of mounting horror he would do something incredibly clumsy, incredibly Dewey Finn-like -- he could just imagine how the rest of the night would go if he managed to dump his beer on her, Dewey gulped the rest of the glass.
Too quickly, of course. He burped as discreetly as he could, and set the now empty glass on the nearest horizontal surface, all the while this woman--this sexy woman--continued to rub against him like he was the best catch in this place. Beer plus shot plus beer made a pleasant haze in his brain, and for once instead of begging off, making excuses, or anything else in his standard playbook, Dewey just let it what happened, happen.
His hands went to her waist and even if he couldn't match her movements, he could provide a steady base for her and enjoy feeling her against him.
The gyrating ceased as the band finished their... impressive rendition of You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC. That kind of register was only made for the likes of Bon Scott and Brian Johnson but with a few drinks in you, they didn't sound too bad. They thanked the small audience consisting of townies, regulars and, well, Dewey and Mora. She clapped and gave a few "woo"s as they disbanded to change sets for the next open mic guest. The typical bar chatter continued and returned to its usual volume.
Turning to Dewey, she grinned and laughed, feeling euphoric from the night they were having. Her eyes scanned his features; from his hazel eyes to his scruffy beard. There wasn't a ton of ventilation in the bar so it had gotten pretty stuffy. His mop of hair was sticking to his forehead from the sweat. She was certain she probably looked similarly, if not worse. Her makeup was surely sliding off her face by now. Her eyes darted to his lips and she reached up to wipe some of the sweat off of his cheek with her thumb.
"Let's get out of here." She offered a micro expression of a smile. It was subtly suggestive.
The music was just background noise as they danced; Dewey was much more focused on Mora and her sensuous movements than whoever was onstage. As much as he enjoyed it, he also subtly twisted a little away from her because it was going to be plainly obvious to her how his body was responding.
Was he sweating from the heat or just from her? He didn’t know, and from the bright look in her eyes she didn’t care. Her finger on his cheek tickled.
"It’s, like, almost last call," he mused. "Where would we go?"
Mora giggled and shook her head. Dewey was one she would have to be a little more direct with.
"No, like... Wanna come back to my place?" She tried again, biting her lower lip.
His eyebrows shot north, under his sweaty bangs. Women didn't--women never--not that he hadn’t hooked up once in a great while, but it was definitely after many more drinks and was more a so-horny-you'll-do situation, versus what seemed to be happening right now.
"I, uh, I guess, I mean uh-huh . . . if you want?"
So much for being suave and worldly with that bit of verbal poetry.
"I do want." Mora smiled and held his face in her hands, bringing their lips together with little effort. She kissed him, for the first time, for a few moments before pulling away.
"I have beer at my place. We can put on some records and have a nightcap. What do you say, stud?"
He must look like a stunned mule. It wasn’t just the kiss, a brief press of her lips on his accompanied by a faint taste of alcohol, but the easy use of a nickname that he'd never heard anyone call him.
Instead of building him up and giving him confidence, Dewey felt even more out of his element, like he was standing on shifting sand. He wa going to blow this! He needed to get his act together!
He managed to meet Mora's gaze with projected confidence. At least he did for a second, before smiling goofily and nodding. It was probably too eager.
"Sure! Y-yeah! That sounds good." Fun. Normal. Like he got picked up every time he went out. Like this was old hat, and not at all like his dick jumped behind his fly. "Is your place . . . close by?"
Although she knew virtually nothing about this man, it was obvious he was a little... anxious? Nervous? Uncomfortable? She wasn't sure exactly what the emotion was. She thought, he was cute. A little goofy but very cute. Surely, he had girls flirt with him before. However, maybe not to this degree.
Mora knew she was, as she would like to put it, assertive. Some might just call it aggressive. Both of those traits were not hidden in her flirting style either and maybe that was intimidating. She supposed she would try to go easy on him and not be her typical man-eater self.
She gave him a small smile and grabbed his hand. "Just a few blocks away. C'mon."

How far do go with divergencies when it comes to your canon muse? How do you describe writing / rp to others? What was the first muse that you’ve written? When did you first start writing? (My clipboard only held five things so you get two asks lmao)
@nerdqueenmari
There's two answers for the divergences to be honest with you. In terms of the ones I create, I pretty much just follow what the character is telling me and or showing to me. They tend to make things fairly clear. In terms of divergences from let's say book canon in an adaptation, I'm not overly fond of them. I have a reputation for being somewhat of a book purist as my father once put it. I like to stick to what was there already but in essence, so long as the spirit of the character is still honoured, that is what is important.
I describe RP as my hobby and I describe writing as the expression of the human soul. As I have my own book published out there and I have performed original work (I used to rub an open mic night too before the pandemic), I view my writing as different to my roleplaying. The joy of RP is based around collaboration whereas writing out with that is more of a solitary thing to me.
The first muse I wrote on Tumblr was my DC OC Peach Falcone, known affectionately from her father Carmine as Princess. My first canon muse here was The Joker. My first muse ever written however I believe was Nymphadora Tonks or Alice Cullen. I can't recall who came first. It was nearly 17 years ago so I'm a bit hazy.
I first started properly writing when I was 12. I spent the summer of my 12th year going into my 13th writing my first 'book' as such that just over a decade later was adapted from memory into my first play as the original manuscript was lost and needed more development anyway. I first started roleplaying however when I was 16 and it was in the Twilight and Harry Potter fandoms on bebo when I was 16.

SwynWrimo Tracker 2024
0/30
Friday, November 1 — Visual Poem: A visual poem! You can make these in Canva, draw them, or format them in a doc (and screenshot). If you want some inspiration, here’s a helpful article. Can be written from a character’s perspective, about a character, or about something in the RP in general. Bonus points if it is canon.
Saturday, November 2 — Family Ties One-Shot: Write a one-shot revolving around your character’s family, include 3 family members minimum. (This can include whatever your character’s definition of family is.)
Sunday, November 3 — Short and Sweet One-Shot: Write ten short-short stories of no more than a paragraph long (can star one or multiple characters.)
Monday, November 4 — Instagram Stories: Post five IG stories from a single day of your character’s life. This can be photos of their activities and their friends, but also memes, news, funny videos, and other types of posts!
Tuesday, November 5 — Community Flyer: Make a flyer for a community event that could possibly happen somewhere in town. These can be pre-established or make up something new! (Open mic night at Hatter’s, poetry nights at Chapter Three, local blood drive, arts and crafts at Town Hall, music lessons, trash pick up, etc.)
Wednesday, November 6 — How Do You Measure, Measure a Year?: Make a playlist of ten songs from the same year that in some way relate to your character. Was it music that would have been popular when they were a freshman in college, or maybe the year they were born?
Thursday, November 7 — Business Savvy Thread: Plot a thread that takes place in one of Swynlake’s businesses with a mun that you don’t currently have a thread with.!
Friday, November 8 — 160 Characters or Less: Write a story using either Tweets or entirely in texts (or some sort of DM) between characters. (This is a one-shot prompt, not something you do with others.)
Saturday, November 9 — Background NPC: Write about a moment of your character’s life from the perspective of an NPC character.
Sunday, November 10 — Five Times X, One Time Y: Five times your character did a thing and one time … they didn’t (or vice versa). Get creative with what this means, but structure it in that same manner.
Monday, November 11 — The Comment Section: Write ten comments your character has left around the Internet— perhaps a YouTube video of a song that means something to them, a TikTok that they got into a fight in the comments of, a recipe that they tested from FoodNetwork.com… the sky’s the limit! Can be from the same site or different ones.
Tuesday, November 12 – SwynRPVision: Create your own TV show, book, video game, piece of media, etc. that would exist in the SwynRPuniverse which does not exist in ours. Write a description, make a graphic, write a script or do whatever you want.
Wednesday, November 13 — What’s in Your Closet? Come up with fifteen significant clothing items from your character’s wardrobe/life and describe them in detail. Feel free to combine these into full outfits!
Thursday, November 14 — Neighborly Plotting: Plot a thread with your neighbor(s) using the demographic sheet. If you live somewhere like the Woods, where there are no house numbers, headcanon who you live near!
Friday, November 15 — Needledrops: The Playlist! Ever want to score a plot like it’s a big moment in a TV show? Pick five songs that you would use as a needledrop for a big RP plot moment – can be ones you were directly involved with or ones you simply admired from afar! For instance, Vidia stealing the crown could be set to “you should see me in a crown” by Billie Eilish. The fall of the Order, with the Knightley family house burning, could be set to “No Mercy” by PVRIS. Write a short description for each.
Saturday, November 16 — Crack!ship AU: Write a crack!ship au. This should be a one shot of any characters in the roleplay, yours or someone else’s! Definition of a crackship: seriously this shit can’t happen but in an alternate universe. Add 10 applicable aO3 tags (enemies to lovers, modern au, etc.) This year, you can either write this as a one-shot, or plot a thread!
Sunday, November 17 — Choose Your Own Swyn AU: Do you have a dream AU-week event? Create your own! Make a graphic, write an opening blurb, and create a sample bio for one of your characters. [example of a past event, you do NOT have to do the whole thing, but this has the graphic/opening blurb]
Monday, November 18 — The Character Tour: Create a travel itinerary featuring 10 significant locations from your character’s life (can be in the same town/city, country, or even around the world!). You can do this in a saved Google Map too.
Tuesday, November 19 — All You Can Eat Buffet! Pick five of these menu categories and come up with a significant food associated with your character and write about their experience with each one: appetizer, soup, salad, beverage, main course, dessert, breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner, midnight snack, side dish, cocktail. Images welcome
Wednesday, November 20 – Spotify Wrapped Playlist: What’s your character been listening to this year? Is it Top 40, classic rock, or maybe just rain sounds to help them sleep? Create a playlist of your character’s top 10 songs from this year. Bonus points if you include any other fun Spotify Wrapped tidbits– top artists, top genres, maybe a specific day that they played one song over and over. Have fun!
Thursday, November 21 — Back to the Future Thread: Write either a flashback or a flashforward thread with another mun! (This could be an existing connection or a connection that could possibly happen 10 years in the future! Should be 10+/- years in the past/future.)
Friday, November 22 — Call Me Beep Me: Your character’s phone! List ten contacts, the last five messages, four apps, and screensavers!
Saturday, November 23 — The Final Labor: Based on the final task for the labors, write an AU featuring all your characters in a role. Choose an AU, set out a list of goals for yourself based on tropes within that AU (ex. a red shirt has to die if you’re doing Star Trek or someone in the group gets bitten by a zombie and doesn’t tell the rest if you’re doing an apocalypse), then write to your heart’s content! To count, each character must have a role and your tropes must be laid out beforehand.
Sunday, November 24 — Which Character Are You?: Make a UQuiz for people to determine which of your characters they are.
Monday, November 25 — SWYNRP Memes: Create memes (there are websites where you can do this) about characters, places, or things that happen in Swynlake! (10 minimum)

(So, Anya could either do five characters for Holley, or one character for Ting, one for Alana, one for Al, one for Phil, one for Holley, or any other permutation).
Post one piece of inspiration from each character (A gif, a quote, a video clip, a screenshot) and write a little bit about how that character relates to your own. If you’re having a hard time thinking of characters like yours, check out this quiz!
Wednesday, November 27 — Wild Card! Today’s your day to get creative and do something different! Show off a talent that you wish you had more opportunity to show, or just write something that doesn’t fit any of the other prompts!
Thursday, November 28 — Aesthetic for a Friend: Make three different aesthetics for at least three different characters (and at least three different muns)!
Friday, November 29 — Wordy Web-Weaving: Pick a word that is significant to your character or their story and create a web-weaving aesthetic based around that word’s definition. Add 10 applicable aO3 tags (enemies to lovers, modern au, etc.) This year, you can either write this as a one-shot, or plot a thread!
Task 17 — Choose Your Own Swyn AU
Do you have a dream AU-week event? Create your own! Make a graphic, write an opening blurb, and create a sample bio for one of your characters. [example of a past event, you do NOT have to do the whole thing, but this has the graphic/opening blurb]
Task 18 — The Character Tour

Task 20 – Spotify Wrapped Playlist
What’s your character been listening to this year? Is it Top 40, classic rock, or maybe just rain sounds to help them sleep? Create a playlist of your character’s top 10 songs from this year. Bonus points if you include any other fun Spotify Wrapped tidbits– top artists, top genres, maybe a specific day that they played one song over and over. Have fun!
Thursday, November 21 — Back to the Future Thread
Write either a flashback or a flashforward thread with another mun! (This could be an existing connection or a connection that could possibly happen 10 years in the future! Should be 10+/- years in the past/future.)

Your character’s phone! List ten contacts, the last five messages, four apps, and screensavers!
Task 23 — The Final Labor
Based on the final task for the labors, write an AU featuring all your characters in a role.
Task 24 — Which Character Are You?
Make a UQuiz for people to determine which of your characters they are.
Task 25 — SWYNRP Memes
Create memes (there are websites where you can do this) about characters, places, or things that happen in Swynlake!

Task 27 — Wild Card!
Today’s your day to get creative and do something different! Show off a talent that you wish you had more opportunity to show, or just write something that doesn’t fit any of the other prompts!

Congrats Mike on your audition for Archie Andrews! Please check out this page for what to do next, and send us his blog within 48 hours! Welcome to the group!
OOC INFORMATION:
Name/Alias: Mike Preferred pronoun: he/him Age: 27 Timezone/Country: EST/USA RP Experience: At least 10 years Activity Level: 6/7 ish, it depends on how badly work is kicking my behind
IC INFORMATION:
Name: Archie Andrews Designation: sub Age: 23 Birthdate: June 17, 2001 Faceclaim: K.J. Apa Orientation: Pansexual Kinks: Pretty open to anything his partner wants to try as long as it's not in the anti kinks list Anti-Kinks: scat, gore,
Key Points:
Archie is fiercely protective of his two brothers, and when bad things happen to them it effects Archie much worse than he's willing to admit.
Skilled athlete and musician
Feels guilty over not being able to help his little brother sooner than he did.
He is loyal to a fault.
BIO
To say Archie Andrews was complex was almost too simple of a way to describe the young man. He had always tried his best to follow the rules and take care of everyone. He was the 'All-American jock' because it was what his father wanted for him. It was supposed to be a way out from having to live day to day, a good day being just barely making ends meet. Not having to struggle and take any random job or having to help out with his father's business just because his dad wasn't making enough money to pay an employee to do it. On the other hand he wanted to pursue music, and always tried to find ways to sneak off and play for his friends, or at open mic nights or talent shows. All that changed when his father died, even though he and Danny were the same age, Archie felt like it was his responsibility to step up and take care of Danny and Noah. He put behind his dreams of doing something in music, and gave up on his father's dreams of him being a football star as a way to get out of town and took over running the business for his father. While most of his time was spent at work he was still able to help Noah when he needed him the most.
Archie knew he had done all that he could to help his younger brother, but he still felt an immense amount of guilt for it getting as bad as it did. He tried to make up for it in every way he could, including hiding his own thoughts on the D/S system so that he and his brothers wouldn't get into a fight over it. That didn't stop Archie from feeling a sense of comfort when he had gotten his mark. Most people would have expected him to be upset that he was marked as a sub and not a dom but he wasn't. He always enjoyed helping everyone out and doing things for them no matter how big or small, but now he felt as if being marked as a sub offered him a level of relief. He didn't have to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders anymore, in fact if someone claimed him there would always be someone there to catch him if failed.
BIO QUESTIONS
What are your feelings about the mark you have received?
I know there are some people who are surprised by it, but I'm okay with it. I've always had to step up for others so I could see this as being a good thing. How do your feelings on the system compare to your parents’ feelings on it? Well I'm not sure about mom, she hasn't been around much since her and dad broke it off. I think my views on it are closer to my dad's, but I might be a bit more accepting of it.
Where do you see yourself after you graduate?
Hopefully in a claim, maybe getting back into my music.
How do you feel about authority?
I'm for it, but only as long as it's not purposefully used to hurt people or keep them down.
