4. What is your favourite thing about your muse? Why did you pick them up, what do you want to explore?

// Morty might be my oldest muse that I’m still writing (even though I’ve picked Richter back up a few months ago, I still haven’t been able to properly put him into use). It’s funny to think there was a time, I really didn’t care all that much about the humans in pokemon. Things wouldn’t change, until I was introduced to Morty by @tm83s​ and subsequently sacreds.hipping!

I have been writing him for 4 years now, and he is assosciated with so many fond memories of my time as a RPer. And despite all these years, I still find myself finding new things to further expand on him. Morty was the very first muse I’ve truly set out to, expand on the canon and invest on his development. Which is a trend, I’ve stuck with for all muses I picked up after him.

He served as a model for me to follow, in regards to how, I’d like to establish and enjoy my time RPing.

Lance was also the very first muse, I intentionally chose to take risks with a muse’s development. I’m not sure about the current state of the Pokerpc, but a good few years ago, there was a lot of policing a blog’s content (I remember seeing a handful of callouts. As well as witnessed, people getting flack for daring to step out of the “norm”). I chose to write Lance going against any and all popular ideas/concepts about him, and I refused to sugarcoat how dark things can get for someone like him (which used to be the norm back then). Lance helped me to understand a lot of things about the RPC, as well as gave me a boost in my self-confidence in regards to my work (as in: don’t be afraid to follow whatever crosses your mind).

// TBH I’ve considered so many times abandoning Riley, mostly because he feels more like a fanfiction story rather than a RPing muse. Much like Lance, I also took many risks with the kinds of subjects he ends up touching on (... After being an entire year in the YGORPC then coming back here... These things feel a lot tamer, in comparison). But this time, I don’tthink things paid off quite the way I expected to. I picked him up because at the time, I was plotting with other Riley duplicates some fun shenanigans and I kinda of got carried away I guess.

I like the character I came up with, I feel like they are very fun and interesting for me to explore. However, roleplay is a collaborative work, and unfortunately I haven’t been able to find anyone else to more or less provide me with a muse I can actually write with. And it’s no one’s fault, but mine.

The Happy Shopper

Wherever you go, the sunshine follows! You start your day with a smile on your face, a cup of hot Hypno Tea, and maybe a bowl of Jigglypuffs Cereal with Clefable Coconut Milk! Your mid-day lunch has some sweets like Poliwhirl Sweet & Sour Gummies but you make up for it with a healthy Oddish Fresh Salad. And at about 8pm you sit back, relax and enjoy a Nidoqueen White Chocolate Bar - you live the good life!

You may be crazy but you’re awesome! From your first sip of Pikachu Espresso in the morning, you have a ton of energy! By noon, you’ve already finished an entire jug of Zapdos Nitro Brew and are ready to eat your first meal of the day - Slowbro Instant Ramen with a can of Aerodactyl Cola. Time to end the night with a shot (or 4) of Kakuna Tequila while munching on Venusaur Veggie Chips.
