do you think they had father’s day in the last remnants of the old world? do you think max actually had a chance to celebrate it before his family was taken away from him? orrr maybe him and jess celebrated their first father’s and mother’s day when she was still pregnant –– them, their home full of plants, her growing belly. 

max was probably devastated when those days came by for the first time after they were gone. i think that sometimes max is glad the world died –– because it meant years and dates meant nothing, and he’s never had to explain anything to anyone.
