#/srs how can tubbo say hes no good at lore when hes able to pull that out like nothing???

tubbo 1000% deserves at this point to have some confidence in his ability to do lore act. some of my favorite lines have come from him:

"eret- I farmed with you for hours!" / "wilbur said he wasn't going to hurt me...!" / "the discs dont matter, tommy!" / "surely not..." / "yourself."

seriously, the kid knows what he's doing with his character. like, sure, maybe actually writing a plot for himself isnt his strong suit, but that doesn't mean he isnt good at playing whatever role hes given. in fact hes extremely good at that? hes used the pieces hes been given by others to build a really interesting character with clear and understandable modivations.

c!tubbo is one of my favorite dsmp characters for a reason. in the (now kinda distant ig) past, that reason was because he was always consistent a source of levity - be it chaotic comedic relief or a sweet moment here and there. but, for a while now, that reason has been because of his complexity. all of that childlike wonder (read: feralness) he once had has been beaten out of him through trauma after truama, harsh "lesson" after harsh "lesson". and, unlike tommy, he hasnt retained any of that old spunk they both used to have in spades. c!tommy is still at least trying desperately to cling onto his childhood (which is tragic enough to watch happen), but c!tubbo let go of his a long time ago. and (in a fictional character) that is a fascinating situation see a character to be in and cc!tubbo plays it beautifully.

I hope Tubbo saw SAD-ist’s animation today and thought “fuck it, I am good at lore”
