First, maybe I am pedantic on words, but I like to be on the same page, so:

I don't fully agree with the word "believer" in context of a fictional setting, especially given that they are people (I've seen one on YT) who genuinely seem to believe in the Legendarium as mythology/religion/I'm not sure what word to use. I don't.

I respect (or sometimes hype about maybe too much) some of Tolkien's ideas on hot his legendarium ties to the real world, can't internalize some others, but at the end of the day, it is fiction, so the question is less "what is true" and more "what makes sense with the story and world", "what Tolkien intended".

And I do believe (based on things I read and watched on YT) that Tolkien did intend to "evil cannot create true life" and "only Eru can create souls". Does "true life" mean "sentient", or "alive in general"? If "sentient", how is that different from "having a soul"? I have no idea. But anyway yea, "Morgoth can't make things that have free will" is a very safe bet about what tolkien thought of it. And does make sense with the story.

(Still, I will take this wording as a compliment. thank you.)

I don't have a single strong HC about how dragons were made. Made from lizards? From big snakes? From dinosaurs which he somehow stole from Valinor (unlikely because siege)? Probably mutated some big lizards.

Personhood? Hmm. the text is tricky there (even a bit contradictory), but I would go with the "they have bits of Morgoth's will in them, a bit like the Ring had Sauron's". No personhood.

My default assumption about various types of more-or-less monsters is:

deeply corrupted Elves/Men: full personhood, but extreme mental issues due to trauma / generational trauma and probably their free will is, how to say it, imprisoned deep inside their minds, so very unlikely to behave in a good way (think: very strong addiction, some extreme mental ilnesses): all variants of Orcs. (Yes, it makes killing them complicated, I can live with that) (Also I did a post on Orcs and how would I try to make them more metaphysically coherent. TLDR they revert after some generations of not being moderated)

fallen spirits: full personhood, self-inflicted (+ some help from evil superiors) trauma, more effective free will, could get over their bs, yes it is hard but also they aren't willing: Morgoth, Sauron, the Balrogs, some various "demons", I'm not sure about some beings. I like to see Thuringwethil here, even though it's probably not canon.

Elven ghosts who agreed to be bound by Sauron (with coercion!) or Morgoth (if he bothers to do necromancy at all), put into various (animal or engineered from parts) bodies: free will fully bound inside, because of the magic. they can regret but they can't escape: werewolves, vampires, stuff like that, also Thuringwethil

bits of Morgoth's will/mind/whatever put into modies of mutated animals: dragons, I'm not sure what else. As they are various bits, they do have some indyvidual character, something like personality, but they aren't persons. Think: OCs. The dragons are Morgoth's OCs. ;D

They (dragons) could be type 3, but from what I remember the text more suggests 4. Or was it just the musical?

And yes, dragons being active after Morgoth was thrown out doesn't contradict this. Ending of the Quenta Silmarillion says that bits of his will still circulate in the world.

Pretty sure bbb is in fact ambidextrous! We never see him write with his left hand but he uses weapons with it (sword, bows, etc) and you need a lot of coordination to do that

Boi is never alone, he always had his friends, even in movie 2 he had Gopal, this time hes alone. Not even ochobot is with him.

So there was a moment everyone went WILD it was beautiful, now obviously most people speculated that he was trying to find his dad or was searching something for Tok Aba

But there were a couple people who were like "hey guys what happens if boi split haha, who gonna get him back together haha, whos gonna remind him haha... oh god what if the elements seperate.." annnnnnddd that kinda got me thinking..

If boi got split for too long to the point of the elements becoming they're own 'person' obviously Boi's friends (and tapops) will eventually get them to combine back again

But which memories would boi get? All of them? If he split into 3 he'll have 3 memories but what if he split into 5? Which memories would dominate?

Can boi tell which are really his and which are the elements?

What if specific elements made new friends? Would boi feel guilty? Would boi care about these characters like how his elements cared for them? The elements are him after all

But where does the line end between him and the elements? Where is evern the line drawn that separates him with them?

How can he differentiate which action of his was himself and not pushed by a certain element personality?

How can boi live with himself with the fact he might be keeping 7 people from living?

Tbh, It's a wild short ride if I remembered it again. I didn't know there's the comic ver of Galaxy season 1 and movie 2; the battle card sets; action figures; magazines; heck, when the movie 2 come out in theater, I did not managed to watch it.

A funny story how I went back to this series. When I was on staycation at the hotel this year, that night, my sister stumbled upon one of my local tv(uuuuh I forgot whether it's mnc tv or rtv) that showing one of Galaxy season 1 episode. She asked me how Boboiboy's get bigger and why am I did not watch this series anymore. My reason is same as what I've mentioned about Duri and Solar here and that's the end of it.

But later when I'm back home, I somehow... Felt an urge to re-watch its series? I have to tell you first, I followed Boboiboy's account on Twitter like two years ago, I read some issues when Monsta released season 2 comic on webtoon but I stopped shortly after.

So when people hyped about the upcoming Sori, I myself didn't feel like to watch it since I constantly reminded myself to finish the galaxy season 1 first.

Therefore I hurriedly marathon-ed all series. A bit of back and forth between Galaxy series and original series to refresh my mind before went to movie 2 and Sori. And even then I stopped my read at issue 6 to watch Sori in blind. Counting all that I finished this series within.... Three... Weeks or more I guess?

For now I only own the Google play book ones, baby steps to buy all the physical comic books and the card packs too I guess. (Aaaaaaaaa I want the galaxy season 1 and movie 2 comic books SO BAD >:[ )

Windara and Gur'latan arc made me absolutely concerned with boi's mental health.

When talking about amnesia awareness. We had this line from both comic and Sori.

Yet the final episode of Sori piqued my interest.

Monsta surprisingly didn't dwell this deeper in comic book ver. They didn't show how much the effect could impact the elemental's well being.

edit: I really want to highlight how much Hali's big will to fight his amnesia illnesses. When others starts to forget their surroundings, Hali on the other hand decided to increase his pace. Desperately find a way to meet his other twins. Notice how Hali forgetting Gopal's name but not Yaya at first... Until Hali also forgotten her name.

Yet Yaya somehow understood Hali's frustration by accepting her temporary name. All that scene made my eyes wide when I compared it to comic ver.

(btw how about I call him "Oboi" like many people call him since it's cuter and easier to type? We good? moving on.)

The comic ver only portrayed a fainted Oboi, whereas Sori purposely added an extra few frames of him "suffering" and said more than just felt dizzy.

Can I say I'm very, veerry much in gratitude to Monsta that they added those extra scenes more detailed and logical? People need to remind that Boboiboy is a freaking human. A FRAGILE LIVING BEING THAT IS STILL. A MIDDLE. SCHOOLER.

Hello! First congratulations on 500 milestone! And I hope my request won't be difficult or in anyway an inconvenience to you.

I'm a quiet and calm person in general but I do have a chaotic and wild streak. Sometime I'm the one proposing silly ideas for my friends and I to do but and the same time I know my limits and boundaries. I hate inconveniencing or disrespecting people yet I don't like getting pushed around. I'm really excited about the new sinnoh remakes, but there's a lot of negativity going around about them for some reason that I don't really get. But knowing that you hold pokemon as close to your heart as I do, if not closer, I'm curious what your opinion on the remakes is, especially after the pokemon presents from today.

oh! gosh well, i can't lie and say i'm the most hyped person out there for bdsp - partially because i don't actually hold pokemon quite as close to my heart as you seem to think, it's just always there no matter what else may also be on my mind, haha - but sinnoh still means a lot to me!

i'm still not the biggest fan of its art style but it's cute in it's own way regardless and i can enjoy it, i was initially bummed that there weren't cool redesigns of the protags like in previous remakes but the new customisation options definitely make up for it! i'm also really happy to see the return and expansion on the pokeball seals and contests, lord knows i spent a lot of time on those as a kid, now will probably be no different! hehe

the music in the trailer also rlly got me, it sounded amazing and i can't wait to go back to some of the more nostalgic ones and hear new spins on them, all of this is gonna make ten year old estie very happy <3 especially all of the legendary battle themes ahh. if these games seem to have the platinum dex, i wonder if there'll be a delta episode type thing with giratina instead of its old d/p sendoff spring/turnback cave thing? distortion episode? that would be cool as hell...

the only thing i'm sure will happen that i'm not looking forward to - and this one goes out to legends arceus as well - is the inevitable downplaying of the importance of uxie, mesprit, and azelf, if not outright treating them like meaningless filler legendaries. they're still very important to me and the fact that the fans and devs always seem to forget about them or even still complain about stuff like roaming mesprit to this day because obviously only dialga, palkia, giratina, and arceus matter makes me livid

...but that's the only real thing i can think of that makes me unhappy and it's a personal and potentially avoidable gripe anyway, so!! hell yea bdsp B) thank you for asking too! hehe

i have to say that cough syrup has an unfortunate iron grip on my brain! or maybe a fortunate one, i could always use things to think about! however i have two weeks of finals and eocs and all assorted tests awaiting me so maybe i shouldn’t have filled my brain right before then but oh well!!!! i’m here now and i’m having a blast
