Hmmm. You didn't ask, but I'll indulge. Here's a photo of me, maybe 30 years ago? Just about when we were about to graduate and some time before joining the Tera Orb research team.

Arvie never believes I looked like that when i was younger, though I think his expression is even more hilarious when it's Clavell's photos. He's known by most as the soft gentleman he is now, but back then... haha, Clive had to come from somewhere- Though he did overdo the pomp this time.

Anyway, I was entering a male-dominated field, so the long and short of it was that I decided to embrace sticking out like a sore thumb. Leather jackets lined with some furs, metal jewellery and punk boots- I suppose I was a bit of a bad girl. Certainly not what you'd expect in a lab.

I'm glad neither Turo nor Clavell were like the majority of the men around me- snobs in their clean pressed dress shirts, ties and woolen sweaters. Though Turo did dress like them, he wasn't like them at all. At least he didn't actually mean something else when judging my clothes. Clavell... has always accepted me as me. Heh, I might have contributed to Clive, if you'd believe it.

Anyway, those are stories for another time, I'll leave your imagination to stew and simmer.
