#Out of Service Out of Africa (OOC)#//hot take for the day#//in fairness. I don't really think Oyelowo could pull of the seriousness of a live action remake#//but he has over the top evil cartoon villain down perfectly. Especially the laugh#//and I don't think Ejiofor is a bad actor. Far from it.#//he says a lot of interesting stuff in interviews about getting into the character#//but he was given shit to work with. At least the Lion Guard writers cared about the project#//neither can sing though. But Scar isn't necessarily a character that /needs/ to sing#//I kind of like the remake's take where Be Prepared is just an intense political speech#//but then they have him sing some of it and that angle is kind of ruined
