"All the more reason for me to stay, don't you think?" Gale asked quietly. He knew his companion struggled with her nightmares, with her... urges, for lack of a better word. And he wanted to help, in whatever way he could, even if that just meant being a shoulder when she woke up in a few hours.

He gave her an easy smile. "I have some reading to catch up on, besides, so I wasn't planning to sleep for a while yet. Let me keep watch while you try to rest, so I can be here when you wake."
