So..
After getting my bearings again for a bit.. damn this site has changed a LOT from what I remember back in the day.
For anyone interested: Ever since I left I lost my Grandpa, dropped out of Uni, got an apprenticeship which I've just recently had my written finals for so I can get a proper job in the future (how the system works in my home country), picked up fandoms, kinda dropped from the 101 Fandom as the show has pretty much been killed off by Disney and no matter how much you enjoy something, everything fades away eventually. I started writing a full long term fanfiction for a character I created for World of Warcraft and became obsessed with different things at different times. (Very random recollection of the last couple of years I know)
I did miss my time here and recently have been craving getting back into Roleplay as I have had a lot of fun with it over the years, so...
I am back!
(and honestly.. I'm surprised there are still so many people on my follower list, asumption being i wasn't the only one just going dormant...)
While I do wanna get back into RP I don't think I will be reviving my old blogs as I don't really have the muse for either of these Characters anymore... its just been to long, maybe one day they'll pop back into place but for the time being I'll leave them to rest.
HOWEVER:
The WoW character I mentioned, well... I may or may not have had inspiration for her a lot recently so..
Meet my Vulpera OC, Vayreena, a world traveling alchemist and adventurer (who's usually not THAT good at the latter) and because my brain obsesses over thing WAAAY to quickly and WAAAY to much... After seeing a certain recent movie, I couldn't resist going for seconds...
(Still a WIP tho, and I'm still not 100% sure how I'll do the design but its there and it's up)
Yes I know she's received.. mixed results.. but I just couldn't help myself. (I'm also not going to be having any icons for her for the time being since the movie isn't gonna be avaiable digitally for like another month for me
Both are avaiable for interacting, but bear with me.. I'm very rusty and work a full time job now so replies will likely be a lot slower than they were in my past.
#ooc#mod ramblings#Blog resurrection#zhen kfp#vulpera#roleplay#I'm so gonna end up writing stuff with the 2 of them#you cant stop me

respond to the following prompts out of character, then tag others you'd like to get to know a little bit better. i'm days late on this but hey it's munday so I Might As Well do it today
roleplayer name : august !
pronouns : she/her or he/him
muse name(s) : as far as solo blogs, i've got jiminy cricket (You Are Here), bones from star trek at @bcnes, and then a (way more inactive) oc who i won't even bother listing because he is That Inactive. i also have a lot of video game and movie muses over at @multimoth but to be frank i tend to write the same 5 of them and everyone else is gathering dust
preferred communication : i am AWFULLL with tumblr dms so those are at the bottom of the list. i'm on discord way more often! anyone can reach out and i will probably give you my usename to add me :")
experience : uhhh i started on random forums way back in the early 2000s and stuck with those venues for like 15 years. that and neopets. i moved to dreamwidth during college and then twitter after that (it was awful). then tumblr maybe 4 years ago or so
preferred roleplay type : i tend to start most interactions out as banter because it's just easier for me to let that develop into threads naturally! ask memes are also great. i have a bit of a hard time writing out fully plotted scenarios because i like the Improv nature of rp a lot, i like to see how things change when we both throw our ideas into the mix as the interaction progresses. that and i love relationships and plots that form slowly. the slow burn of it all.........
pet peeves / dealbreakers : most of my muses are multiship (and in bones' case, polyamorous even) so i get really annoyed when people insinuate they're cheating by virtue of having multiple partners or something. or get possessive of a character. like my guy.. . there is no overlap here there is zero reason to make your character jealous. i also dislike it when it feels like my character only exists to give therapy to other characters please he has so much more going on........ he'll reach out to try to do that sort of thing sometimes, yeah, but in general i think i don't like when rps feel uneven. i want the characters to get to know each other equally.
in that same vein, if people treat my character as a joke or belittle him constantly it's going to get old very quickly. and i'm prone to drop threads that feel like they aren't going to evolve into anything significant? like if it's just characters arguing back and forth with no resolution, or one character maintains the same view of mine forever with no room to change that. not every character has to become friends or anything like that but things should move in Some direction with enough time and repeated interaction
best time to write : i have a 9-5 and usually need to take some time to decompress after that so i'm typically on around 8pm est or so!
are you like your muse ? : god i hope not. but uhh out of all my muses honestly i think i'm Least like jiminy. outside of being like... relatively stubborn and a little hotheaded (i'm an aries, i don't know what jiminy's excuse is)
tagged by ellie @lcafman aaand honestly a lot of y'all have already done this so i won't double tag you. if you see this and you haven't done it, steal it from me!

Kissing Booth
ft: @fleetsummers | In which two philosophers discuss the arts. A hug goes wrong.
Cat | She slunk up near the end of the day. Fleet was the only familiar person, and so it was Fleet Cat selected to inquire with. "Is this event commonplace?"
Fleet | "Not at all. The town's been through so much lately, and March is always such a dreary month, we just thought it would be something to lift our spirits, y'know?" Fleet smiled at her, the air of this interaction much different than the pondside one. "Honestly, I think kissing booths fell out of fashion decades ago. But we all know each other here."
Cat | Absorbing the information, she took a hesitant step closer. "Okay."
Fingertips grazed the edges of the little window. "This kindness... the familiarity helps?"
Fleet | "For most people, I think so. I was on a movie once called Sparrow's Flight and there was a kissing booth scene and even though the extras who I kissed were very nice, it still felt pretty weird by the end of a day of shooting." Fleet crinkled his nose at the memory. "So much jaw strain!"
Cat | Idle chatter froze Cat. His familiarity shifted, a younger version superimposed. "You were the love interest." How had she not noticed?
Fleet | The comment, more than the way it was delivered, made Fleet perk up immediately, his vanity stoked: "You know it? You've seen it? I was starting to think my filmography hadn't entered the pop culture vernacular like I thought it had!"
Cat | She nodded, suppressing reaction. It had paid well, that movie. Kept her afloat a good while. It wasn't Fleet's fault society required such sacrifice.
Her hands flexed open and shut against her thighs. "I've seen it. Did you feel it was accurate to the true story?"
Fleet | It was a more serious question than he expected, but Fleet dropped -- immediately, comfortably -- into interview mode, thinking on it. "I don't think any sort of fictionalization can be accurate to that degree," he said. "After all, it's meant to be watchable and to get people's interest. I did make sure to read what I could about the actual story, to try and be respectful and all, but the director wouldn't let us watch interviews and things like that. We had to make our own performances."
Cat | Heat was creeping up Cat's skin. He didn't know. Not his fault. "The real story didn't have a kissing booth," was all she managed, and stuffed her hands in the pockets of her hooded sweatshirt. Safer there.
"I was going to ask for a hug." It was blurted, stilted and without adu. "I thought you might want one, for you."
Fleet | Fleet's forehead creased slightly at that comment, and he sat up straighter. "You're familiar with the Sparrow story?" he asked. "You seem sort of young for it. Although I shouldn't say that, for all I know you're just older and prettier than I am." He was on the verge of a light laugh to accompany the comment, but Cat suggesting a hug knocked it flat. "I would love one," Fleet said instead, and came around to the front, slipping his arms around Cat's waist and leaning the side of his head against hers.
Cat | Compliments on her appearance made Cat's spine itch, so she pretended he simply hadn't spoken them. Instead, she held still until he'd settled himself against her.
Like anyone unfamiliar with casual affection, the effort was awkward. Her arms settled around Fleet's body, careful of his wounds. Butterfly touch. Her voice was low, but never whispered. "You deserved better."
Fleet | Cat's unease in a hug seemed par the course, Fleet had gleaned that much out by the pond, but he startled when she said what she said. Not out of the hug, entirely, but he did go quite still instead of his habitual constant tiny shifts in movement to meld against the other person. "What? Why would you say that? What do you mean?"
Cat | She didn't cling or grasp, entirely used to people pulling away. "Than your father," she explained simply, glancing at his eyes for the first time in minutes. "Than your uncle. Than what happened."
It seemed an obvious thing. Had he forgotten their conversation? Or had Cat stumbled into a social trap she was not aware existed?
Fleet | She had the most extraordinary eyes; dark and searching, but giving away nothing, like staring into the night sky so long it stared back. "I wonder, sometimes," Fleet said. "What exactly I deserved."
Cat | She frowned. "A real chance - the same as every infant." Except Cat, who was the shape her family made her. The great void, wretched and rotten.
Fleet | Fleet wasn't certain he wanted to commit to that, not just yet. He wasn't prone to morbidity, but here was a chance for it, with somebody who seemed so inclined, and so he said, "You don't believe in fate, then? Predestination? That maybe we're -- mostly -- living the lives that we were always meant to have, with just the slightest little bit of chance to customize things?"
Cat | His answer unexpected, Cat had no answer prepared. "Fate implies some greater intelligence, yes? A will powerful enough to shape us all." No, Cat thought. She didn't care for that at all.
"That would mean what we suffer is by design. We struggle in near futility against what cannot be escaped." It choked her, to think that killing one god was not enough.
Fleet | "So the alternative, then." Fleet subsided into glumness. "That everything happens because of free will and people exercising their free will irresponsibly, and cruelly, and without foresight. I don't know if that's much more comforting than being set on a cosmic track of destiny in the design of some higher power."
Cat | "I have met many monsters, Fleet. All were human." Cat was far from the idea comforter, if that was what Fleet sought. "Someone fated to be monstrous is pitiable - Judas never had a chance. But choice? Choice means a chance to change. To grasp your destiny and shape it."
Fleet | "Judas," Fleet repeated. He wouldn't have figured Cat for the religious sort, so that was a new thing to factor in. "He had some killer songs, though." That was a silly thing to say, and Fleet shook his head, saying, "--sorry. I resort to musical theatre references in times of stress. In the end it doesn't matter much, does it? Whether people were fated to hurt you or if they made that choice all on their own."
Cat | "I haven't seen any." The statement was dry, unapologetic in its explanation. "I didn't intend to provoke stress." This, at least, held the scent of regret.
"Wounds hurt no less if inflicted of free will or the blueprint of a greater force. Pity Judas, but it does not negate his betrayal."
Fleet | "Do you like music? If you do, I can introduce you to some. Musicals, I mean." Another reflexive response, offering music when he was trying and failing to figure out something more momentous. But it wasn't such a bad thing, Fleet didn't think, and Cat might end up discovering something she enjoyed. "Cat," he said, "there's no thirty pieces of silver, but. Would you like a kiss?"
Cat | She didn't remember how she felt about music. "Okay," was all she gave Fleet in response to the answer, rather than expose her lack of opinion.
Her eyes widened, and Cat froze again. "I don't do that." This was not Isaac - with his unshakable guarantee of chastity. Fleet contained danger she'd been foolish to forget. "I understand," she whispered, hands mindfully still, "but please don't."
Fleet | "It's fine. You're the visitor, Cat. It's about whatever you'd like." Fleet hugged her, the embrace careful and measured, his hands nowhere that she couldn't move out of easily. "I think you'd like them," he said. "Musicals. Big questions about life but set to music, with dancing, and costumes sometimes."
Cat | Breathe caught in her throat, Cat was a statue for Fleet's safety. She could understand on the surface that he wasn't truly threatening, but everything else was Fight instinct. Control was held one moment at a time, little half-moons in her palm digging deeper. "Okay," she exhaled the word, wishing she could explain to him. Knowing she should.
Instead, Cat took a step back out of his polite and respectful embrace. "Tell me more another day." Her voice was thick, one of the weaknesses she still struggled with. "You did a good job in the movie," the compliment was offered in her stilted way, an attempt to give him something positive to remember.
Fleet | "Thank you," Fleet said with reflexive politeness, though it was still puzzling, the way Cat talked about Sparrow's Flight. "It was such a sad story. Everyone kept saying how brave she was but ... I don't know. Being brave doesn't make anything feel less ruined. At least not in my experience."
Cat | Her laugh barked out, a cracked sound. "They never call the lucky ones brave, do they?"
Another step back and Cat shrugged a narrow shoulder under the sweatshirt. "Free will or destiny, Fleet. Ruined is still ruined."

hellooo i'm here for the writing asks!! can i geeeet 2 and 17? (and also 50 if u wish because i'm nosy)
2. Go to your AO3 “Works” page, to the sidebar with all the filters, and click the drop-down arrow for “Additional Tags.” What are your top 3-5 most used tags? Do you think they accurately represent your writing habits?
HIIII ROB, you asked me the stats question. bless <3
out of 24 works (18 slash, 6 gen), i got:
Humor (8)
Getting Together (7)
Post-Canon (6) / Canon Compliant (6)
Established Relationship (4) / Mutual Pining (4)
Case Fic (3) / Blow Jobs (3) / Psychic Abilities (3) / Found Family (3)
honestly, this seems pretty accurate if a bit low all-around? i might not have tagged my older fics all that well.
i think the only thing i'm surprised about is that Established Relationship is tied with Mutual Pining. nothing else is rly sticking out to me.
i told you guys i wrote a disproportionate number of bjs this yr
17. What highly specific AU do you want to read or write even though you might be the only person to appreciate it?
android au. i wish that one guy would write it already.
i think i already divulged my reishuuto x 1980s lehman bros au but that's here if anyone else wants to write it for me
for serirei, i've also always wanted to read a 90s blockbuster/video store AU, but i don't think i have the requisite knowledge to write it. same goes for weatherman!reigen and producer!serizawa. i think they'd be really fun reads.
but i think the most Specific thing i'd like to find someday is a heist-movie-esque fic with the S&S office. maybe they're stealing a highly-cursed artifact from a museum b/c the museum curator won't let them interact with it long enough to exorcize it? something like that. whatever the premise -- man, i would love to read that fic sljdklj
50. Answer any question of your choice, or talk about anything you want to talk about!
i'm gonna tell you my favorite incredibly-silly joke from TPC. it's from a voicemail from reigen's mom in chapter 6:
“You have to understand, the neighbors are talking about this. They asked about you at my water aerobics class the other day. They said, is your son really running for president of that creepy organization? “I didn’t know what to say! And you know how rare it is that I’m rendered speechless! I know you take after me. “At the end of the day, you have to think about other people. Think about your father’s job! He doesn’t want to answer questions about this. He has work to do. As you might have heard, the Federal Register for Activities and Urban Designations has been angling to rename Seasoning City Square to Seasoning City Circle for weeks now. As you can imagine, some people are bent out of shape about this, so he’s very stressed. That’s why I’m drawing a line.
gratuitous shape puns aside, my favorite joke is that reigen's dad works for FRAUD.
ask me about my writing!
#ask#crownorclover#ask game#suggestive#writing#long post#writing meme#thanks again for sending me this <3

I'm still keep thinking if Aqua likes Kana like in the chapter 83 panel, why would Aka give all that development to AquaKane's relationship? Will Kana win on the grounds that Kana is the light? Will the development take place when Akasaka gives Aqua's rescue scene to Kana and after that they will end up together? Because she is the light and she can save Aqua. If that's so, please Akasaka should make another plan. I need a good story that have dynamic and big volumes in the relationship between the characters.
Meanwhile, Kana doesn't understand Aqua and acts as she pleases with her own mind. I really want to see their development. If Aqua like Kana, so what about his development with Akane tho?
Actually i'm Aqua stan but not shipping him with anyone. I just want to know and wait to see the development between AquaKane and Aqua-Kana. And as far as we knows Aqua and Akane takes all developments and Aqua Kana looks like going nowhere. Especially with the most recent chapter between the two of them. Where Aqua takes advantage of Kana's feelings. Even though he said he didn't want to take advantage of Kana. I should go to Aqua house and ask him by myself lol
Oh, what chapter do you think the ONK manga will end? And i'm sorry to say this, are you bothered by these questions about ONK?
I know you really like ONK but I'm just worried if it takes too much will bore you🥲!
But i'm your fans for real🙌🏻☺️
I feel you anon, but sadly sometimes things really are that simple. The better developed couples don't always win. In a way, I think that sometimes when an author intends a ship to happen only at a certain point in the story, they take its development for granted because regardless of how little they may interact, they already know where it will lead.
All we can do is hope that this won't be the case here 😂
Oh, what chapter do you think the ONK manga will end?
Honestly, no idea! I can see two more arcs after the movie one (the fall-out and the conclusion), but I'm not sure how long that will take because Aka's pacing is unpredictable and the constant breaks don't help. I can see it ending anywhere between 17 and 20 volumes.
And i'm sorry to say this, are you bothered by these questions about ONK?
No worries anon, I'm not! At the contrary, thank you for taking the time to drop by and share your thoughts with me!
I've been meaning to say this, but if you feel comfortable messaging me off-anon, please don't hesitate to do so because this way I can reply to your privately.
Same goes for anyone who wants to message me: if you just want to ask a question, anon is fine, but if you want to share your thoughts with me and chat, I invite you to do so off-anon so I can reply privately and the answer directly reaches your inbox!
#onk asks convos#or do anon replies automatically go to the sender's inbox nowadays?#I have no idea lol#but if you message me off-anon I'll reply faster because I try to space out my public replies to not overwhelm people's dashes haha ;-;

I just forced my friends to watch this last night and we turned it into a try not to laugh challenge. We all failed multiple times. It's just.... everything about it is so... I'm sorry I NEED to talk about it. Because honestly, this movie deserves an analysis and I have much to say. Spoiler warning I guess
The thing about this movie is that the premise is actually... pretty good. Like, The idea of a movie about an artist who struggles to find her place in the world and with feeling like her passion/career isnt a "real career" and might become obsolete is really nice, since it's relatable to a lot of artists nowadays. And having part of the movie take place in a Harold and the Purple crayon type "drawing reality" world is a genuinely cool concept, and allows for there to be a lot of wacky and creative character and background design choices. And having Paige start out as a bit of a bad person, but learning through hardship and experiences to be a better person is awesome. Even the concept of the twist villain and his motivation is cool. Having the villain be a disillusioned art teacher who just wants people to respect his, and others, passion but is going about it the wrong way is cool! and while most of the dialogue is absolutely buttcheeks, there are rare moments where it's actually decent. There is real potential here!
But my god, I don't think I have ever seen a premise executed this badly. It's almost impressive. People like to call bad movies "fever dreams" but I've never seen a movie genuinely feel like a fever dream than this movie did. Literally everything is wrong with it.
First off, every single concept that could potentially be cool is mentioned for literally one minute and then dropped for the entirety of the movie. They bring up like 10 different major plot points and then immediately abandon them, never to be seen again. Like Paige's sister gets introduced and she's like a bad guy who's working for a big evil corporation that wants to feed drawings to AI and profit off them. Is she seen for more than 5 minutes? No. Do we ever hear about that corporation again? No. And then at one point they just randomly mention that anyone who stays in the drawing dimension for too long becomes a drawing. They mention this ONCE and it's never brought up again. Never. And this is a consistent theme throughout the movie! This movie feels like it's directed towards goldfish or mosquitos or something else that can't remember things for more than 3 seconds.
Also, the few plot points that DO stick around have the most poorly explained and inconsistent lore I have ever seen. Like the concept of the pencil of intelligence and the power of drawings is incredibly confusing. Was it the pencil that held the power? Or the drawing dimension? Or the drawings themselves? Absolutely nothing about how anything works makes any sense.
Also, the pacing. Oh God, the pacing. This movie seems to be allergic to building any kind of tension or a consistent plot. Every scene slowly fades out into a black screen (yes, I'm serious) after 5 minutes, and when it returns the characters are doing something completely different, or there are suddenly different characters shown. Coupled with them throwing random topics in like they'd been a major plot point the whole time, this makes feeling any kind of connection to the characters and the adventure impossible, because every scene feels like an out of context clip. Like, there's a scene of Paige and one of her friends having a bonding moment and opening up to each other that, in any other movie, would feel like a pivotal moment for their bond and characters, but we barely hear the friend talk, and they basically NEVER interact before this scene in any meaningful way, so it has no impact.
Oh and the Constant, CONSTANT flashbacks. Now, you can do a movie that switches between flashbacks and the present well, but the issue here is that it's very hard to tell what's a flashback and what isn't, since not only are the scenes completely random and unrelated anyway, some of the flashbacks are from things that happen FIVE SECONDS before the previous scene, which just makes it feel like the creator put the scenes in the wrong order.
This movie feels like it's trying to speed run the plot, and yet it's still an hour long, mostly because a lot of scenes just have character saying the most drawn out, repetitive dialogue ever, or straight up repeating THE SAME voice lines. Half the time I felt like I was being lectured by my mom and she was making sure I got the point for the 10th time.
The animation is also just lackluster, lacks any kind of life, and keeps repeating frames, the humor feels like if you asked a 12 year old to prompt chatGPT to write a "Gen Z joke", and even though the creator claims he was developing this for 6 years, one of the first jokes in the movie is an Ohio joke, which would have made no sense even 3 years ago.
Oh yeah I almost forgot. The most powerful and plot significant character (besides Paige) is a self insert of the creator that is literally his PROFILE PIC. And he just looks weird as hell throughout the whole movie because he's this blue child with an ice cream sandwich on his head and brightly colored clothes that for some reason has this deep man's voice. Like yes, I get it that he's a drawing in this dimension and he can look like whatever he wants and that's the point, but it doesn't change how bizarre it is to see someone's profile pic as the main character in this movie. Also I'm sorry but his design is ridiculous. It works as a PFP because that's just a still image and is kinda supposed to look weird and distinctive but I could not take this little ice cream boy seriously at all.
The whole movie is just an absolute mess. That being said, I really enjoyed watching it just for the sake of laughing my ass off, and I'd recommend you watch it too. It's funny as shit.
PLEASE watch the whole beatboxing puppy movie im BEGGING. its SO bad its called Our Drawings Princess Movie its free on youtube pleeeeease its so bad. me and my friend watched it we need a fandom for this movie
#our drawings#movie#bad movie#the wizard sounds like a pg 13 eric cartman#and looks like an adult cocomelon baby#also they unironically say “frick”#its so Fucking bad#i love it

Extra Complications PT3
Previous Chapter
"Don't bother coming back into work tomorrow."
Her words had been replaying in your mind since the final encounter, bouncing round like a taunting echo. It'd only been a week since you'd stopped working at Alchemex, yet had felt like a lifetime of boredom and fatigue. With no job or persistent villain to chase after, if you could even call Liv a villain anymore, there was no reason to get out of bed in the morning, nothing to stop you from moping around your apartment. The days blended into what felt like one long sick day, disregarding the occasional break to rescue a cat stuck in a tree.
Although, your only sickness was of the mind. Whenever you attempted to get some rest, your thoughts would inevitably drift to Liv; the cold, distanced tone to her voice, the look of betrayal in her eyes, how empty the week had felt without her. By the third night plagued with insomnia, you were starting to accept that your feelings towards her may be more than a simple crush. On the eighth night, you decided you ought to do something about it and began to formulate a plan.
Entering the building like you were still an employee would be almost impossible since anyone who left their job was rarely welcomed back with open arms. It'd also be better to avoid the security and CCTV cameras, which you'd learnt used face recognition technology. And finally, locating a security card would pose a potential problem, as walking round the facility until you happened to stumble across a janitor to steal from was unfortunately no longer a possibility. So, what was the solution to all your problems? Vents.
Which is how you found yourself scouring over blueprints like a cliched protagonist from a bygone age movie, but at least the irony hadn't escaped you, and thankfully laboratories generally required a great deal of ventilation, so you had multiple routes memorised by the time the bus had arrived at Alchemex. You'd spent the entire journey on edge, fearful that any fellow passenger might accost you for looking so suspicious. But apparently an agitated figure buried beneath a pile of blueprints wearing a spider-suit underneath a jumper was normal enough to be ignored.
Nonetheless, stepping onto the concrete ground of the car park was a relief which inspired a tad more optimism. Moreover, leaving the burdening stacks of blueprints behind further alleviated some of your anxiety. It felt like a final confirmation that this was your one and only chance, and you weren't about to mess it up. Even as the building loomed over you casting a shadow of uncertainty, nothing could discourage your determination.
There was the remarkable sense that you didn't belong here, though it was a familiar sensation. One that persuaded you to tug the mask over your head before darting toward the edge of the car park. It was your belief that as long as you stuck to the outskirts of the facility, few would pay you any attention while you were out in the open. Therefore allowing you to manoeuvre into position and take the quickest passage straight to Liv's office. Which is exactly what you did.
The first stretch of the vent system was a straight drop, a narrow plunge that went on for longer than anticipated. Like a slide with no angle of inclination and a lot less fun. You hit the metal base with an ungraceful clang, certain that your legs would've buckled upon impact had it not been for the lack of space to do so. Overall an uncomfortable start. The remainder of the journey was a lot of crawling and muscle cramps, your only incentive being the occasional grate to peer down which reassured you that your destination was drawing nearer. Everything was going to plan.
Until you heard her.
Olivia's voice rung clear as if from a dream. It stood out from the general ruckus, initially leading you to believe you were hallucinating, that it was some kind of audible mirage. Yet you refocused your senses and it didn't go away. She was almost directly below you, separated simply by a thin layer of metal. With renewed ambition, you crawled toward the nearest grate as quickly and quietly as possible, frantically lowering your head to find the perfect angle, all just to catch a glimpse of her.
"What do you mean the program hasn't worked?" Liv pinched the bridge of her nose, her words laced with an an uncharacteristic anger. You'd never known her to be an irritable person, she loved her job and every challenge that came with it. Was she uptight? Sure. Passionate? Undeniably. But never angry.
"I've tried rerunning and rewriting parts of the code. And it just doesn't work!" Some poor employee (Mark, if you remembered correctly) was fighting for his dignity below. You could see he was flushing, wildly flailing his hands around as he tried to justify his mistake.
"You've rewritten part of it?!" She repeated, volume rising in frustration.
"I- I thought I knew how to fix it."
"I told you not to mess with my work." She growled, stepping closer.
"With all due respect," He didn't back down, clearly caught off guard and unsure how to deal with an irritated Liv. "it's actually Y/N's work."
Upon hearing your name, you ducked out of view as if you'd been seen. Although, it was evident that this was not the case, so slowly you edged forward to peer down at them once more.
Liv's face had dropped at the mention of your name. But by the time you'd settled back in place, anger was already seeping into her expression, then was suddenly smoothed into disturbingly sweet smile. "Well, Y/N isn't here anymore. So I suggest you keep your incompetent hands off of things you don't understand."
Judging by her vague wording, you guessed she hadn't told anyone the real reason you'd been fired. A fond appreciation flooded your mind. Despite everything that had happened, she still respected your secret enough to keep it. You begun to consider that maybe Liv cared about you as much as you did her. Why else would she lie on your behalf?
Mark muttered an ashamed. "Ok." Then left to try and atone for his mistake.
Liv stayed where she was for another minute before taking a deep breath, shaking off her annoyance, and setting a determined path. You assumed she was heading for her office and were about to follow, but then paused. Was this really the best time for a reunion? She obviously wasn't in the best mood, and if you had to guess, it was likely due to your betrayal. Was it too soon to reappear in her life? You'd arrived here with the intention to apologise and make amends, however, you had no idea how Liv would react or what would happen after. If there would even be an after. She could attack you on first sight for all you knew.
No. You'd come too far to turn around now. You continued along the vent before you could overthink the decision. It would be foolish to turn around now: the end was in sight, and rapidly growing closer.
Reaching the final grate, you were greeted with the familiar yet new aerial view of Liv's office. It'd remained mainly the same since your departure. She hadn't even bothered to remove your lab coat, which was still carelessly thrown over the chair you'd frequented everyday. And Liv herself hadn't changed much either, disregarding the seemingly permanent anger lines upon her face. She was sitting at her desk, head in hand, mindlessly flipping through a folder. It occurred to you at that moment that she didn't look irritated, rather sad. Another unexpected emotion for her to display.
After a minute, she sighed, tossing the papers to one side and bringing her other hand up to crash forward into. She looked defeated, seeing her this way felt wrong. You honestly preferred the anger because it showed she'd maintained at least some of her usual intensity.
You sighed. It was time to fix this. With unsteady hands you delicately unscrewed the bolts holding the grate in place, careful to make as little noise as possible. It was as you were removing the final screw that you realised something: you had no idea what to say to her. No planned speech or prepared apology, you'd resigned to hoping for a spontaneous burst of thoughtfulness in the moment. You sat there for a minute, fidgeting with one of the screws while attempting to come up with what you would say. Should you start by apologising for breaking in, or for lying to her, or for applying to the job in the first place? You had a lot of things to apologise for.
And unfortunately, the chance to think it through any further was taken from you as the screw slipped out of your hand. You gasped watching it fall, hitting the ground with an faint thud. Although quiet enough for most people to ignore, you knew Liv was too thorough to not investigate. And as expected, following your sharp intake of breath was the sound of a chair scraping against the floor, then footsteps gradually approaching.
Liv appeared below you, bending down to inspect the screw before glancing up. Her eyes locked with yours through the mask and widened in shock.
"Hey." The casual tone to your voice sounded forced and you grimaced. But rather than dwelling on it, you dropped from the exposed hiding place and pulled off your mask. You smiled awkwardly, eyes scanning and overanalysing her reaction.
Liv stepped back to lean on the desk for support. Her mouth was agape, but otherwise her face was worryingly blank.
"If this is a bad time I can come back later."
Still no response. The room was drowning in a tense silence.
"Well, actually I probably can't come back." With no social cues to interact with, you began to ramble aimlessly. "I'm guessing you'll find a way to patch that particular security breach." You gestured up to the gap in the ceiling and laughed lightly. "Sorry about that. I didn't know how else to-"
You're cut off as Liv moves impossibly fast, grabbing your shoulders and shoving you backwards against the wall. A thousand different thoughts run through your mind at once, all wondering what she's about to do. The majority are focused on the possibility that she's going to hurt you in some way, although, even if she did have the intention to cause harm, you wouldn't fight back. You were tired of conflict, especially when it involved Liv.
She was standing close, breathing heavily and saying nothing. You couldn't help but let your eyes flicker down to her lips, the temptation to kiss her becoming increasingly vehement. So instead you forced your attention up to her eyes, which held an air of confusion.
"What are you doing here?" Her voice was deep, full of unvoiced emotions.
You licked your lips, glancing at her mouth one last time. "I came here to apologise. I didn't mean for any of this to go so far."
"You're lying." She backed away slightly and you immediately missed the proximity.
"I'm not! I just-" You stuttered, then admitted in a quieter voice. "I never meant to hurt you."
She inhaled shakily and swallowed, your eyes tracing the movement of her throat. "And?"
"And because I care about you too much to let you think I did any of this on purpose." You lowered your head, her invasive glare becoming overwhelming.
Soft fingers firmly gripped your chin, compelling you to look up. Her eyes displayed distrust, confusion which you suddenly feel the need to wipe away. You wanted to make your affection for her clear, but found yourself annoyingly speechless. All the recurring thoughts and confined confessions that had been plaguing you for a week suddenly gone from your mind. You were infuriatingly at a loss for words. Although, the warmth of her fingers against your skin reminded you that actions speak louder than words.
You leant in slowly, giving her sufficient time to stop you. She didn't move so you kissed her lightly at first, searingly next. Your arm shifted to wrap around her back tentatively and she moaned faintly in response. Although, it wasn't until you allowed her to take control that any remaining anger dissipated. At that point the kiss became bruising, her hold on you tightening as a wave of shared desperation rolled over the both of you. Before the desperation could reach its peak, however, you separated from her.
Liv was almost panting, her cheeks tinged pink and hair a mess. She promptly attempted to kiss you again, though you dodged the advance and she whined. Her mouth latched onto your neck, sucking at the skin there.
Your head fell back against the wall, dizzy from lust. "Does this mean I can have my job back?" You quipped, running a hand through your hair.
"Depends." She murmured in between kisses. "Do you have anymore secrets?"
"None that I can think of." You smiled, the prospect of returning to what you'd come to consider as normality was an appealing one. Of course there were things you would need to work through with Liv, and many, many extra complications alongside having a relationship with your boss. But nothing easy was ever worthwhile, and Liv was living proof of that.
"Alright. You're hired."

[F/N] = First Name
[L/N] = Last Name
[N/O/S] = Name Of School
"Arghhh! This game is so annoyingly hard! Why do I keep dying in Electrical!" Oikawa angrily said while messing up his hair, flinging his arms around as he continued to puff his cheeks.
"Pfft, calm down-- you're probably just really bad at the Game" [F/N] replied with a satisfied 'huff'
"Yeah, Yeah"
A single night has passed ever since Oikawa appeared. [F/N] and Tōru were able to get along quite well during the hours they spent together. It's still Saturday, and it's been about 2 Hours ever since they started playing Among Us.
"Could we go outside?" Tōru asked, his eyes still glued onto his Phone as he moved his character around.
"You wanna go out? In THAT?" [F/N] asked as she pointed at his outfit. He was currently wearing his jersey, he hasn't changed out of them since he got here.
"Well, I wanna go out because I want to get clothes that I could wear other than this you know? I can't just wear my jersey all my life!"
"Fair point, I'll buy the clothes you need, so pick whatever you want when we get there okay?" [F/N] slowly stared back at Tōru, with a soft smile plastered on her face.
He didn't reply, he just stared at her with wide eyes. "You know, you're really pretty when you smile~" Oikawa cooed teasingly, causing [F/N] to throw one of her pillows at his face. Earning a small 'Ouch' as he hit the ground.
"[F/N]-Chan! So mean!!"
"Pfft..sorry, anyways let's go" [F/N] reached out, he happily accepted the help and brought himself on his feet.
Both Oikawa and [F/N] head down stairs, not without having a conversation ofcourse. Despite being different in many ways, they always seem to be able to spark up a conversation. Which is something they both appreciate. Because who would want to hang out with someone who you don't get along with? Certainly not them.
"Oh, right- here wear this mask" [F/N] slowly took out a white mask from her right pocket, adjusting her own as she gave the other to Oikawa.
"What- why-" He asked with his brows furrowed.
"Corona Virus, there's a virus spreading and I don't want you to catch it"
"A VIRUS?! GIVE ME THAT-" Tōru quickly snatched the mask and furiously placed it on. "Jeez, what a World you live in"
"Well it's no different from yours Tōru, but I guess it is different in a way"
[F/N] slowly pushed the door open, exiting her house with Oikawa right behind her. She turned around to close/lock the door.
"Wow, everything looks so- different" Oikawa said while staring at his current surroundings.
"Well yeah obviously, but Anyways- Let's head over to the nearest store!" [F/N] snapped her body forward, sprinting towards the direction of the said Store.
[F/N]-CHANNN! WAIT FOR MEEEE" Tōru yelled out as he ran after her in panic.
He eventually caught up to her, angrily tugging on her sweater with a childish pout on his face. "You didn't have to run like that you know.."
"Pfft, right, sorry sorry!" [F/N] lifted her right hand to him, wiggling her fingers a bit to tease him a little.
"Huh??" Tōru took her actions as a sign to hold her hand. So without hesitation, he reached out, intertwining his fingers with hers. Causing [F/N] to blush furiously.
"Aww~ look at you, you're so cute when you blush [F/N]-Chan!" Oikawa chuckled, gripping onto her hand tightly before turning his gaze to look forward.
[F/N] has never held a guys hand before, let alone a hand she has always dreamt of holding. It made her heart flutter, jump, do laps. It made her smile ever so softly as she stared at Oikawa's tall figure leading the way.
"I'm guessing this is the store you wanna go to?" Tōru asked, pointing at the store to his right.
She nodded slowly, this time stepping forward to lead him into the store instead.
"Woahhh, not half bad" He spoke as soon as they stepped through the double doors. His eyes widening and a huge grin spreading across his face.
"Pick anything, just aslong as you have clothes to change into..- Maybe get a sweater or two"
"Alright~"
Tōru happily walked around the store picking out the clothes he preferred. Most of the clothes he picked to wear indoors are alien related which caused her to snort.
"Hey.. He looks exactly like Oikawa! We should approach him come on!!" A girl whispered from afar, tugging her friend.
[F/N]'s eyes suddenly widened, fear rushed through her body. She didn't want anybody to take Tōru away from her, nor did she want to see him flirt with anyone considering his personality.
"Babe, are you okay?" A familiar voice called out, his hand grazing against her cheek ever so softly.
"Wh- why did you call me Bab-"
"Shh.. don't blow my cover now. As much as I love my fans, I'd hate for them to interact with me while I'm out with you." Oikawa whispered in her ear with a raspy 'n deep voice.
It sent shivers down her spine. "R-Right...Ermm...nothing Babe just a bit bothered is all!"
"Lucky... He's already taken, let's just go" The girls from earlier whispered.
"Phew~ Thank God you're the one I'm stuck with [F/N]-Chan, I honestly don't think I'd survive without you! But other than that, I've finished picking out my clothes now" He said while lifting the set of clothes that he picked out.
"I-- Alien shirts and boxers?" [F/N] slowly lifted one of the boxers and Shirts he picked out, causing Oikawa to look away embarrassed.
"S-Shut up- just don't look at them!"
"Chill Tōru, I love Aliens too"
He immediately perked up, his eyes widening and a huge goofy grin spread across his face. He's never had a Friend who was into Aliens aswell.
"How about this, we could get matching pyjamas!"
[Cue Oikawa Dramatically gasping/screeching in excitement]
[F/N] and Tōru spent the rest of the day outside shopping for whatever he needed. Getting matching clothes, Icecreams, and even went for a little walk in the park.
"Today was fun, let's go out again tomorrow!" Oikawa happily said, his hands full of paper bags filled with his new clothes including hers.
"Oh, sorry I have to go to a Volleyball Match tomorrow"
"Oh? A Volleyball Match? Between who?" He asked in a curious tone, his eyes wondering to her smaller form. Dropping all the bags on the living room couch.
"My School against Shizawa, it's one of the rival School's that we're somehow close with"
"Kinda sound alike Shiratorizawa. I hate them already"
[F/N] laughed at how he began to pout at the similar School Name.
"Are you the manager of your Team?"
"Yeah, actually I am"
"Wow~ I'm impressed [F/N]-Chan" He cooed sweetly.
"When do you ever stop flirting Tōru--"
"No~ idea"
[F/N]'s eyes suddenly widened, her body swiftly turning to his. Oikawa stared back into her eyes, a confused expression plastered on his Handsome Face.
"You can come with me t-"
"YES, I WAS JUST ABOUT TO ASK!",
She burst out of laughter from Tōru's sudden out burst. Walking towards him she patted his shoulder before walking straight into the kitchen. Missing the way his cheeks turned pink.
"You hungry?"
"Starving"
"Hahhhh...you sure know how to cook [F/N]-Chan, that was amazing" Oikawa said in between his satisfied hums.
"Why thank you, also, wanna have an All Nighter? We can watch an Alien related Movie while at it"
"You read my mind [F/N]-Chan" Tōru quickly sat up, his matching Alien Pyjama's more noticeable. She thought it was adorable, about how he didn't mind getting matching pyjama's. It made her heart flutter.
[F/N] quickly ran up the stairs, Oikawa following afterwards. They immediately pushed the door to her room open with a 'Thump'
"I'm gonna bet you right now you'll fall asleep as soon as the Movie starts!"
"HAH, try me Shittykawa"
"NOOOO YOU'RE STARTING TO SOUND LIKE IWA-CHAN [F/N], STOP!"
She bursted out of laughter, plopping herself on the bed as her back leaned against the head board. Tōru did the same, his shoulder ending up brushing against hers. They sat close, a little too close. But who were they to complain about it if they had such a great time together?
[F/N] opened her laptop and began to search for an Alien related Movie on Netflix.
"I have a feeling we'll be Best Friends [F/N]-Chan"
"Aren't we basically Best Friends already?" She said without sparing a glance at him.
He simply smiled, humming in approval. "Fair Point"

The Transporter ~Part Three~ // Spencer Reid x Reader
Sorry this took so long!! I have been so busy with work lately, but here she is.
Word count ~ 2,900+
Hope you guys like it :))
I stepped back through the transporter to be met with an empty room. I glanced at the clock on the wall. It read 10:15, that wasn't *that* late. Christine is probably still awake.
I made my way to her room, which wasn't incredibly far from mine. Her door was cracked open and I could see her laying in bed, reading a book in the semi dim lighting. I knocked lightly, pulling her out of her fictional world of Harry Potter.
"Oh! Y/n, I didn't think you were coming back tonight. How was everything?" She gently set her bookmark in the book, placing it on her nightstand.
I couldn't hold back the smile on my face. It was the coolest day of my life, what could I say?
"It was so amazing Christine! I accidentally set myself right into an investigation that I knew about. I met all of them, and it felt different than I thought I would-"
"Did you talk to Spencer?" She asked, nudging my side. I could feel the blood rush to my face.
"Uh, yes." I smiled, looking down at her star clad comforter. "It was incredibly surreal and I can't wait to go back. It was kind of a funny interaction, the first one. He asked me to profile him, which was obviously easy because I know him like the back of my hand. Well I thought that was gonna be the end of our interaction that day. But I accidentally left my laptop at the Bureau."
"Oh yeah *accidentally*." She smiled, throwing air quotes.
"Shush, it was actually an accident." I giggled. "Anyway, he looked up my address I guess and he brought it to me. It was sweet."
"I guess now he knows where to send flowers." I shook my head with a smile. "Well I'm glad you had fun. I hope everything works out well, don't forget there's an actual case though." She winked.
"Thanks Christine, for everything." I waved as I slinked out of the room and down the hall.
I flopped down onto my bed with a simple grin, quickly falling asleep after my eventful day.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I slapped my hand over my phone as the alarm began blaring at 9:30. I wanted to fully commit to this whole thing, just like I was in real life. But in reality, I was waking up pretty late, considering I was going to go into their universe at 8:30.
It appeared that Christine was already awake, she was softly knocking at my slightly cracked door.
"Hey sweetie, I take it you wanna head out soon?"
"Yeah! And I'm gonna have to be gone for a couple of days for the case. Get all integrated and such. Is that alright?"
"Yeah of course! Just document some experiences, or anything that seems weird or off about their universe." Chris left the room, shutting my door with a light thud.
I slipped on a white button up, putting a maroon sweater over it to add my own little touch. I looked in the mirror to make sure my dress pants were fitting me correctly and stepped into my two inch black heels.
Since I would be gone for a few days, I grabbed a suitcase plus my go-bag that I had already had from my time interning. The navy blue bag was slung over my shoulder as I walked out my door, immediately bumping into someone. I looked up to see who I remembered as Violet Glynn, who went into the Zombieland Universe.
"Sorry, Violet, right?" I shook her hand. "How's your universe going? I've always loved that movie. Please tell me Columbus is just as sweet and endearing as he is in the actual film?"
I could see her eyes light up with glee, clearly she hadn't had anyone to fangirl properly to, I could tell she was about to explode with information.
"Yes! He is incredibly kind. Talahassee is already trying to dad me, Little Rock and I are already pretty good friends but Witchita is still kinda weary of me, which is understandable. I talked to Ryan, and he said I can only change a few major things so one I chose to do was to keep Columbus from killing Bill Murray. Bill is so fun to live with so far! I just - I am totally talking about myself for too long. How is everything going for you?" I offered her a kind smile of reassurance.
"It's completely fine, I get your excitement. It's really cool, kinda different from the real job I was working. Maybe that's because I'm permanently gawking at one of my coworkers." We both laughed for a moment. "But I'm gonna be gone with him for like 3 days straight so, I guess I'm gonna have to figure something out. When I come back we should talk more." Violet nodded enthusiastically and waved as we walked to our Transporter rooms.
"Of course! See you in a few days."
I could hear Christine's heels clicking not far behind me as I began typing in the date and time.
*February 12th, 8:30 am. 2009*
"Good luck, I will see you in a few days time, yeah?"
"Yep!" I shoved my 'Come back device' in my go-bag and turned on it's much larger counterpart, nodding at Chris as I stepped in.
I was immediately greeted by my apartments bedroom, I could hear my phone buzzing on my side table. I lifted it to see a text from a certain favorite person of mine, and she didn't even know me yet.
*Penelope G*
*Hey sweets! The plane will be ready to be boarded at 9:15. The team is meeting at the BAU first for a carpool, so be there or be square! Have a good time on your first mission, from what I've seen, you're pretty amazing. :)*
I held back a small smile from my lips, this world is just as good as I always wanted it to be.
*Thank you M'lady. I've heard amazing things about you. I hope we can gossip sometime! ;)*
I sent the text and slipped my phone into my back pocket. I chucked a piece of toast in the toaster, quickly spreading peanut butter on it and checking my watch.
*8:45*
I began my walk to the BAU, probably looking extremely weird walking down the street in work attire and a piece of toast slathered with peanut butter. But I was pretty content, continuing to eat it as I reached the doors of my favorite place.
I brushed my hands together to rid of the many crumbs that had accumulated there, seeing JJ and Penelope talking at Jennifer's desk.
"Y/n! Come over here." Penelope waved me over, I pulled at the sleeves of my sweater as I walked over as confidently as possible. "Are you ready for your first case?" She leaned in a little, clearly trying to search my face for a quicker answer.
"Yeah, I think I'm pretty ready. I've done this kinda stuff before but, I'm way more nervous about this."
"I wouldn't worry to much about. I think you already impressed Hotch and Spencer, you read people extremely well. Did you seriously gather all that stuff from Reid just by knowing him for a few minutes?" JJ was clearly now invested.
"Well, yeah. He's relatively easy to read, as long as you're paying attention." JJ nodded with a smirk.
"Well, you certainly made a good first impression, you honestly sound a lot like Reid, maybe you can..." I watched as she peered behind me, her words trailing off. Her eyes darted back and forth between me and whatever was happening behind me. I whipped my head around to see Spencer walking in, he was distracted my a book, which made me smile. But that smile quickly faded as I scanned my eyes over his outfit.
He was wearing a white button up with a black tie and a maroon vest over it with black dress pants. Sound familiar? All but the black tie.
"Maybe you are even more like Reid than I thought." JJ smirked at me. All the blood had run to my face and my feet felt bolted to the ground. Why this? Why on my first official day? I could hear Garcia holding back a laugh behind me.
"This is adorable I'm sorry." She said, giggling a little.
Spencer finally looked up from his book, hearing Penelope laughing. He furrowed his eyebrows, squinting a bit. Probably wondering why I looked like a deer in headlights. He looked down at himself.
Then back up at me.
Then down at himself again.
He just smiled at me and closed his book all the way, adjusting the go-bag he held on his shoulder. I nearly dropped mine.
"What just happened?" Penelope nudged my shoulder. I shrugged and shook my head.
This was clearly going to be quite the day.
I ended up carpooling with JJ, Morgan and Reid. JJ and I sat in the back while Morgan drove, Spencer spitting facts to him about cars and traffic.
"Well, according to the DC Department of Motor Vehicles, there are almost 450,000 active drivers registered in the District. However, millions more drivers commute to DC from neighboring communities in Maryland and Virginia. D.C. is also host to millions of tourists from around the world. In 2014, more than 20 million people visited D.C., many of them renting a car or driving their own vehicle to visit." He rambled.
"Reid, all I said was there was a lot of traffic today."
"I mean he's right though." I piped in. Spence looked back at me with confused eyes. "Washington D.C. is also home to some of the worst traffic in the country. Analysts estimate that the average driver will spend 7 hours a year in traffic, wasting 6 gallons of gas. However, for D.C. drivers, one estimate found the average driver is spending 67 hours a year in traffic, wasting 32 gallons of gas while sitting in traffic." I think hearing him so much on the show, made me a little bit like him in some ways, my friends always rolled their eyes at me whenever I rambled. The only real one who listens is my uncle. He had turned around, but I could tell he was smiling.
Success.
"Good lord there's two of them."
I'll take that as a compliment.
We boarded the plane and I decided on a window seat, leaning my head up against the cold glass. My hand was unknowingly gripping the armrest a little too tightly.
"Are you a nervous flier?" I would obviously know that voice from anywhere, but right now it was coming from right across from me. I leaned my head back on the headrest.
"Not necessarily, I've flown quite a few times. I've just never been in a jet."
"The key difference between jets and propeller planes is that jets produce thrust through the discharge of gas instead of powering a drive shaft linked to a propeller. This allows jets to fly faster and at higher altitudes." He loosened his tie a little. "So I wouldn't worry too much, it feels about the same."
"Well thank you."
It was silent for a bit, but once we were in the sky we began talking about the case. Emily was talking about how she wants to be cremated because being buried was gross and weird.
"I actually agree with you. I think cremation is more personal too, I want someone to sprinkle my ashes somewhere. Not have to visit my grave and waste money on flowers every year."
Me and Emily got into that conversation as the rest of the team slowly started to do their own things. Spencer was back to reading his book, one page every 5 seconds. He peered over his book for a moment, but only a moment.
"I like your outfit by the way." He mumbled, still focused on his book, he lowered it a bit. I could see a smirk creeping onto his features. My ears began burning as the blood rushed to them.
"Thanks." I really wanted to say more to him, but it felt like my jaw was wired shut.
Morgan was not so discreetly looking over at us with eyebrows raised. But I kept my eyes out the window.
We landed about 2 hours later. I had kept myself occupied by writing down everything that just happened, so I wouldn't forget, and for Christine.
"Morgan, Reid, y/l/n, you go with the police search party and find what you can. Prentiss and I will talk to their chief. Rossi and JJ, set us up in the station."
Once we were there, we were put on a search party with the police, they quickly found the body of another woman covered in mud and holding a cross necklace. We were bringing the evidence back to the station with the others. On the way back, Spencer was telling me about the history of gold cross necklaces. I could practically hear Morgan rolling his eyes the whole time, but I just loved hearing him talk.
Once we were there, Rossi showed his blatant coldness towards the psychic that was telling a scared mother that her daughter was okay. Hotch began sending us off again, and we were off to see the bodies.
Days here moved so fast.
Once we arrived I stared at the body on the table. I lightly touched her arm, cold as ice. Seeing these body through the screen was one thing, but knowing these are real people, it's even more sad. Of course I had seen many bodies in my time, but the thought that this wasn't fictional anymore made my stomach churn a little.
"I found trace amounts of seamen, but there is no sign of sexual assault."
"Are you saying this was consensual?" Spencer tilted his head a bit. No no sweet child.
"She's saying it's happening post-mortem." I said, looking down a little. Morgan nodded and Reids face scrunched. This poor woman.
I knew I couldn't change much, because that could royally screw some stuff up, si throughout the whole thing I decided I would change things little by little to move it along faster. What I did this time was make it so we didn't waste time and interrogate the random man who was accused of being a necrophiliac, because his timeline wouldn't match up.
We made it to the house just a smidge earlier, Brooke was found on the operating table in the abandoned home, completely fine.
The days had become exhausting, as soon as we got on the jet I sat in the same seat, dropping my bag down and grabbing a small pillow out of it. I set the pillow against the window and drifted off to sleep fast.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I woke up to JJ shaking my shoulder, opening my eyes to see a blanket that read *e=mc²* all over it.
"What is this?"
"Oh, I believe Spence put that on you while you were asleep. You were shivering and he happened to have it in his go-bag I guess." She shrugged. "Everyone is heading home, so you want a ride?"
"That would be amazing, thank you."
"No problem."
It was only 5 pm, and Christine wouldn't be expecting me back until tomorrow. So I decided I was gonna get some stuff done with my time, more specifically one big thing.
I grabbed the wad of money that Chris had given me and waved down a taxi. I had them take me to the nearest car dealership. I made a hasty decision and bought a 2007 Mini Cooper. Now I could do what I really wanted.
I looked up Spencer's address and grabbed his blanket, which I had neatly folded and threw on my coffee table. He appeared to live around 15 minutes away by car.
Once I was there, nerves had set in, but I ignored them as I reached the door and knocked 3 times.
I heard a faint "Coming!" From the other side of the dark oak door. He answered with his phone propped up on his shoulder, talking to someone.
"Sorry Mom, I gotta go, love you." He hung up and pulled his phone from his ear. "Hey, what are you doing here."
I presented his blanket to him.
"I figured I would return the favor of you bringing me my laptop by bringing you your blanket." I flopped it into his outstretched arms.
"We have got to stop meeting like this." He smiled, bringing the blanket to his chest. "Would you like to come in?" He brought his hand to the collar of his shirt, attempting to loosen the strain it clearly had on his neck. "I just made a pot of coffee. And since you're just about the only one who actually listens to my ridiculous amount of rambling, I figured we could ramble together? I mean I don't know you very well and I honestly want to be the first to befriend you, you're very intriguingly different. Not in any kind of bad way I just-" His face was slowly getting more red and I could see that his grip on the poor blanket was almost white knuckle.
"I would love to." I stepped into his apartment with a sigh.
Was this a dream?
Maybe.
If so, I wanna be asleep *forever*.

Ever met a celebrity or anybody famous? The most famous person I've met was a former pro boxer, by the name of Ray 'Boom-Boom' Mancini at a charity dinner at the banquet center I worked at 4 years ago. Nicest man you'd ever meet and he even sent me a signed autograph picture in the mail. I'm a Star Trek fan and I'd love to meet the cast of TNG, but autographs and conventions are so expensive. Of course there's the chance you could catch one of them on a bad day and get the brunt of it
If we’re including conventions, then yeah I’ve met several famous people before. I’ve met and gotten autographs and/or selfies from voice actors and screen actors, and I’ve occasionally met some artists too! Outside of that, though, I can’t really say I have. Even my best and most extensive meeting was still at a convention. You could even argue that Mario Marathon was kind of a convention in a sense, albeit a super limited one!
I wasn’t sure if I should include a list or not, so as a compromise I’m going to do so below a cut!
Voice Actors:
Sonny Strait (voice of Krillin) -- Got to spend basically an entire day with him! Unexpectedly encountered him at a convention waaaay way back in the day and he just kind of adopted me and the other handful of fans that were hanging around. He gave us all free DBZ CCG t-shirts, let us sit in the DBZ hummer, and signed anything we put in front of him!
Christopher Sabat (voice of Vegeta) -- I brought him a set of cookies made to look like dragon balls, and brought my favorite Vegeta card that I’d been saving for something like 17 years or so on the off-chance I could ever get it signed. He was so moved and impressed that he gave me two other autographs for free~
Todd Haberkorn (voice of Jaco) -- This was the same convention where I got to meet Chris Sabat, and I also brought him a box of cookies. He was so excited that he dug into them right then and there, and then when signing my card he even wrote “Thanks for the galactic cookies!
Chuck Huber (voice of Android 17/Hiei) -- I’ve gotten autographs from him a couple of times for different characters. One of the items I got signed was one of the original Hiei action figures back when Yu Yu Hakusho first debuted in the US. He was impressed that I had it at all, let alone that it was in the box. (Amusingly, the only reason I did was because I had one previous to it that was out of the box on display and whose sword had broken. I got a new one intending to replace it, but just never opened it.)
Chris Rager (voice of Mr. Satan) -- SUCH a nice guy! We had a nice little chat and I offered him some dragon ball cookies I’d been handing out that day. He signed my trading card and took a selfie with me! I caught him at a panel where he told some absolutely amazing behind-the-scenes stories that I still tell to other people to this day.
Chris Cason (voice of Tien) -- Not much to say about this encounter, I didn’t get to say much more than a hello and thank you before he had to go. I’d missed the official signing session and just happened to catch him after a panel.
Team Four Star -- I catch these guys every opportunity I can manage, and every time I bring them some DBZ-themed treat. I refer to myself as “Snack Girl” when I come to get autographs, and at my last encounter Lanipator mentioned that I looked familiar when I came to the table, so I guess I’m making an impact! I have several stories concerning these guys, way too many to list here.
Little Kuriboh (YGOA voice of Merik, DBZA voice of Freeza) -- Amusingly I met him the time I was at a convention in my Piccolo costume, and that ended up being a whole conversation by itself. It then immediately turned into a conversation about Fallout because someone had brought him some New Vegas playing cards, lol. He was enamored with the trading card I had brought him to sign, and we had a discussion about a fund raiser he’d hosted to raise money for disaster relief where I’d won one of the auctions he’d held.
Kevin Conroy (voice of Batman) -- I found out very late that he was going to be in town, like maybe a week or two before, and dropped EVERYTHING to be able to meet him. When I was in line for an autograph I was so worked up that I kept getting light headed and having heart palpitations. By the time I actually made it to the table I was so starstruck that I could barely say anything. I’m pretty sure I said “I can’t believe you’re here” (??? wtf past-me) and something about him being so talented. He thanked me and didn’t really say much. I had also paid for a photo with him, and in the photo you can see my hand gripping the side of my leg REALLY tightly because I had a very strong instinct to hug him and I WAS NOT ABOUT TO BE THAT FANGIRL.
Charles Martinet (voice of most of the Mario cast) -- Holy shit, this man is playful! He was an absolute delight to talk to, and even just to watch with other people while I was in line. He was very open to whatever sorts of fan requests each person had and was just so warm and gracious with each person that came up. I mostly just wanted to shake his hand and tell him that Mario games basically set me up for the person I grew up to be today. The thing that amused me the most is that if you had him autograph one of the prints at the table, which had all the Mario characters on it, he’d do the voices of each character while doodling little word balloons for them~
Screen Actors:
John Barrowman (Captain Jack Harkness in Doctor Who/Torchwood) -- This was one of the first times I’d gone to a convention specifically to meet an actor. He was a lot of fun and did his best to be chatty, but his handlers were kind of hurrying people along. He was especially tickled by my name (I guess he doesn’t sign too many autographs made out to “Leda”), and he even signed a second item that we happened to have for free!
Cary Elwes (Wesley in The Princess Bride, among other things) -- This was another one of those moments where the weight of just WHO I was meeting got to me and I completely lost my voice. I think I said something about having grown up watching Princess Bride ever since I was a little kid?? I honestly don’t remember what I said, it’s kind of a blur. All I know is that I was so struck by the moment that I didn’t even remember to say that I also love him in the Saw movies.
Billy Boyd (Pippin in Lord of the Rings) -- Not a lot I can say about this one because it was a very fast-paced, conveyor belt sort of affair. We exchanged greetings and he thanked us very much for coming out to see him, and we all agreed that Pippin is totes the best hobbit.
Robin Lord Taylor (Penguin in Gotham) -- One of my favorite interactions meeting a celebrity, for sure! He was actually really interested in knowing about -me-, which completely threw me off-guard. He wanted to know where I was from and what I did for a living, and when I said I was a manager at Spencer’s he got really excited and squeaked “I LOVE Spencer’s!” While he was signing my doll I explained that Penguin is by far my family’s favorite character in Gotham and that we had a joke where, anytime the show switches back to him, we say “Meanwhile, with the REAL main character...” He got a big kick out of that~
Khary Payton (King Ezekiel in The Walking Dead) -- So I don’t watch a huge amount of Walking Dead, but I watch enough that I wanted to come along when my mom went to go get an autograph from him for my brother. He’s definitely the friendliest celebrity I’ve encountered -- so much so that he wouldn’t stay behind the table! He spent the entire time in FRONT of the table so he could hug every single person that came to see him! It was a nice strong hug, too, and he was just so welcoming and pleasant. I told him that, if I had to choose one of the communities in The Walking Dead, I’d absolutely choose The Kingdom. He threw his hands up to his sides and said dramatically, “You will always have a place in my kingdom!”
Penn & Teller -- This year my mom took me on a surprise trip to Las Vegas, and while we were there we got to see Penn & Teller perform, which has always been a dream of mine! After the show they came out into the lobby and they did autographs and selfies with anyone that wanted one, and I got to meet them each. It was a little disarming hearing Teller talk, and Penn was as funny as ever because he’d loudly comment whenever someone’s phone wasn’t working. During this trip I also had my Boris plushie as my “traveling doll” and asked if they’d take pictures with him as well, which they both obliged. Teller seemed particularly amused by Boris.
James Rolfe (the Angry Video Game Nerd) -- So I actually have kind of a long history with him, which originated with me contacting the show to donate a fairly odd peripheral accessory. I given a green light and provided an address, and since I was going to be mailing him anyway, I basically just got a big box and threw in any video game related stuff that I didn’t want anymore and didn’t feel like putting the effort into selling. It ended up being a HUGE box, so much so that I included an inventory list to make sure he didn’t accidentally throw something away. To my surprise he actually mailed me back an autographed AVGN print thanking me for the donations! I thought that’d be the end of it, but he’s actually since featured that peripheral several times on the show, and even included an Easter egg that I asked for twice! This year I got to meet him at Too Many Games and introduced myself as the one that sent the item in. He mentioned that they had a lot of fun messing with it.
Mario Marathon team -- I’m known as one of the regulars since I’ve been around since the first year, and a couple of years ago I was actually invited to the marathon itself as a player! It’s definitely one of the most amazing experiences of my life, and I only wish I could do it all over again! Everyone was just... wonderful~ I was there for several days so there’s obviously way too many stories to tell, but at least in this case you can always go watch the videos on Twitch.
Artists:
Steven Butler -- This was particularly amusing because I was the one that caught him by surprise. I happened to be making my way through the Artist Alley when I realized he was there, and since no one was at the table at the time I went over to talk to him. We had an awesomely long chat about his work (I was going through a sample book on the table) and his time drawing for the Sonic comics. He tried to bring it up as a talking point, and I told him “I know, I own some of your pages!” which REALLY threw him for a loop! He showed me some art for a new Sonic-style story he’s been working on, and I completely fell in love with a character that was clearly inspired by Sally (and I’m not just assuming, he confirmed as much). I then started talking about @fini-mun and how it’s only a shame he couldn’t meet Deebs too, and was talking about Deebs’ history with art and almost getting recruited to be in the Archie art stable as well and how they now do art streams. He was particularly interested in the streams, and I was like “Oh yeah, that’s actually why they aren’t here now, they have a stream today!” so he gave me a free print to pass along to Deebs as a show of interest and support!
Veronica Vera (from the Not Enough Rings comic) -- This was another chance encounter in Artist Alley. I was just kind of poking around to see everyone’s work, and I realized I recognized the comic she was selling. I commented that I loved that comic, and she said she was selling hardcover copies of the entire series. I love the comic and I wanted to show my support, so I bought a book and she signed the inside cover! Unfortunately Oliver Bareham wasn’t there at the time, so no autograph from him. Maybe one day if I’m incredibly lucky, I suppose.
Rich Koslowski -- This was at one of my very first conventions ever. He was an inker of the Sonic comics at the time, and I was only.... 12, I think? I mostly was just excited to be meeting someone that works on Sonic stuff, and I can’t remember much about the encounter aside from just babbling about liking Sonic. I remember him being very kind.
And unfortunately... Ken Penders -- This was at the same convention I just mentioned with Koslowski. As stated above I was only 12, and I was just excited to meet someone who works on Sonic stuff. I believe I was there because of a post on Archie’s Sonic website. Anyway what strikes me as the most surprising about this encounter is how -normal- it all was, at least as far as I remember it. I’ve heard some horror stories of Penders being horrible to fans at conventions, but at least way back at this time (like 1997 or so), he was passing for a normal human. He didn’t say anything mean to me (that I noticed), and he actually gave me some free Sonic loot, which I can’t imagine him ever doing nowadays. I still have the comic book he signed, and I legit consider burning it on a regular basis.
OKAY this ended up way longer that I thought it would. I think even -I- forgot how many people I’ve met before. If I think of anyone else I’ll add it to the list later!

Transformers Dark Of The Moon
I've finally seen the movie again after these years. Let me warn you, spoilers and I have a lot to say.
Their is really a lot to say about this movie. But I'm glad I finally got my to do list of watching the first three Bayformers now.
Another thing I'll be honest about I was gonna play the Dark Of The Moon game on PS3 but it requires more MB's to clear out but I decided fuck it I don't care. Especially it's a short game but I'm not doing that shit. I just wanna watch this film especially remembering this is a long film.
But back to the movie. I'll be honest and I'm not critic and my opinion may be invalid because lots of people hate Bayformers. We have a new continuity with the Bumblebee movie which I think is the best decision this franchise has done.
To me this movie while I like the first film from 2007.
After watching this and I'm still having some feelings after being it. But I feel this is my favorite out of the Bayformers saga. This is basically where it should of ended and should of let the Bayformers end with dignity. Or at least until a new director came along like Travis Knight or others.
Especially like I remember a movie guy named Cure4 on DeviantArt but he's gone from that shit. I agree with him and I'm thinking this is the sequel the 2007 film should of had.
I'm pissed and I hate that Age Of Extinction was the follow up to this film. Despite how people feel about this film, my God Bay tried to redeem himself after Revenge Of The Fallen a film that is like some sort of weird parody there the video game tie in's I see as the best version especially the PS3/Xbox 360/PC versions and even the Wii/PS2 versions.
Another thing I wanna reveal when I saw this film for the first time in theaters I actually used this.
I seriously wore that and it worked and it was awesome. It was a experience despite I felt nervous. I was young but what the hell it's gonna be 8 years since the movie was released. Especially the 3D was awesome when I saw it in theaters.
But back to the movie again I'm sorry. I'm not gonna make this a full review I don't wanna waste anyone's time.
When I think about it Sam is a lot better in this film. While I do feel some moments could be worked on. He should of apologized to Bee after he meets him I know Sam's angry. Especially this development of Sam wants to matter. This is much better then what we had in Revenge Of The Fallen.
Carly I honestly find more likable then Mikaela. Seriously I do especially that moment where she literally tells Megatron that he will basically be Sentinel's bitch if he doesn't do anything. She basically treats Sam with a bit more respect and well I like the relationship more then what Sam and Mikaela had.
Lennox and Epps were always great. Especially Epps during the scenes in Chicago. Simmons is seriously entertaining in this and Dutch is a blessing.
Let me just talk about Dylan Gould. This guy he's been on my mind. I made two joke posts him deleted the first one of he's been waiting for that betrayal towards Sam.
Patrick Dempsey honestly and his portrayal of Dylan is a performance that left an impression on me. Because I was actually surprised by his reveal of who he actually was. But seriously this man is a dick and in a way I like him. Despite seeing in the film him talking about making tough choices and him being on the winning side. Yet over the course of the film he starts to take it a bit personal.
While I kept thinking before seeing the film he was enjoying it maybe. But my view on it changed. I just think Patrick Dempsey kind of owns the role.
Yes we should talk about the robots and let me be honest. What I love about this film it's basically the Decepticons strike back. They are basically winning in this film. I love the Chicago invasion scene.
I do feel like the entire Bayformers series yes their should of been more Transformers screen time. Especially the Decepticons in this case. While I feel in Revenge Of The Fallen I can tell Starscream feels like he's a little snarky in some parts. While I know he's kissing up to Megatron to cover his ass. I would of liked some what....I don't know more snarky shit or something Starscream would say or do. Maybe even during his confrontation with Sam he mentioning after the Decepticons win that he would overthrow Megatron and become the winner.
I remember when I was young when I saw this for the first time. For Starscream I had hoped he would betray Megatron yet that would be so much for one film. Because that's Starscream from G1, Animated, and other continuities. At least one last hurrah before he dies.
Especially I remember when I was young I wanted Skids and Mudflap, along with Leo to come back....I was young and I enjoyed Revenge Of The Fallen a lot more okay. Wouldn't mind Leo but their seems to be a bit much but what the hell I wanted Dinobots in this film.(well it's said Skids and Mudflap are shown as cars but they were supposed to die....they did die by Sentinel in the movie comic)
I dig Soundwave in this film. Even Laserbeak these guys are douches but would of liked to seen more Soundwave. Especially I like this little dynamic between Dylan and Soundwave I know that's weird of me to say. Would of liked to seen more.
Shockwave in this film seriously I was hyped for him when I was young and playing the prequel game. I feel it's stupid he's not as important. He should of had more lines and more interactions. I even agree with a comment on YouTube he should of been in the Africa scene.
While he is badass it's stupid how he goes out but give him a better send off and a fight with Optimus Prime. I wanted to see more Shockwave and I think it would of been better if he was voiced by Mark Ryan. Frank Welker didn't do a bad job and he actually had two lines spoken in English.
At least his driller creature is cool. But seriously after all the hype and I want to just put some promotional stuff.
Whatever if this one is official or not. It's just in Shockwave's own words......logical. Or my own words fucking logical.
The reason I'm saying Mark Ryan because of his English accent and I want to be reminded of Corey Burton. Sorry for sounding weird.
Let me say I feel Sentinel Prime is probably the best antagonist actually we've had in a Transformers live action film especially in the Bayformers. Characters like Shatter and Dropkick are great. Even Lockdown was nice. But I liked Sentinel. I'll be honest I was actually surprised when I witnessed his betrayal when I was young. I thought the Decepticons were gonna force him to use the Pillars maybe even Shockwave but what we got was something else.
Also I really liked the scenes with Optimus and Sentinel. I do feel we should of gotten more and had them be longer. Especially I like Optimus in this. I do see their was this father and son or brother like relationship that Bay talked about. But would of liked to seen more.
The other Autobots are alright cool. I do feel the whole Que/Wheeljack thing was just seriously stupid. Especially now before Bumblebee a Wheeljack design that was more accurate. Tragic about the way he died.
Looking back at the film theirs not a lot of Cybertronian scenes but they leave an impact.
Also I really wanna talk about the ending with Optimus, Sentinel, and Megatron. We should of gotten more Megatron I agree.
But the scene where leading up to Optimus killing Sentinel seeing it in action after going through the movie. It is awkward in a way.
Yet I'll be honest Sentinel basically deserved it. In fact of the Decepticons, and Dylan fucking deserved what they got. Because after everything they did their to me was not a way shit would end peacefully or something. Including your hearing this from a Steven Universe fan a show that deals with pacifism and other shit.
I do feel and I've talked about this before but I might delete it now because I'm gonna mention it here. But I feel if the scene went like it was Megatron who kills Sentinel or this dark idea of Sentinel killing himself or even himself dying from wounds. Especially giving Megatron and Optimus more of a fight even with Optimus haven't one arm.
Or hell seriously Bay should of gone with the original that was kept in the novel that Megatron teamed up with Optimus to kill Sentinel and Megatron would stop what he's doing. Also hearing that it would of explored Megatron more. That ending would have his look in The Last Knight make sense that he went to Cybertron after Dark Of The Moon and over time he decided to go back leading the Decepticons. Instead they had to kill him off and the whole Galvatron thing. Even though Megatron got what was coming to him.
Gonna be honest the Starscream death while I like the idea of Sam having the courage to take on Starscream and even killing him. But I do feel Starscream should of died a more I guess epic death.
Especially I weirdly wanted Sam to be all Cade Yeager shooting Decepticons and some how killing them. I mean you Sam jumping on cars and even sliding under them.
Gonna say before seeing the movie I kept thinking Dylan in his fight with Sam should of died a more brutal death. Such as Sam telling him to shut up after the messager comment and beating him to death. But Dylan's death is perfect. Seriously he gets hit in the face with some sort of pole thing and dies by the pillar.
Listen I'm sorry for rambling a lot. This became more of some review or reaction. The action was seriously nice and the special effects, score was always excellent.
Gonna be honest while I wasn't emotional much throughout the movie. Did feel emotional over the, "The fight will be your own" scene and felt a little at the, "No Prisoners Only Trophies" scene....that should of had more weight. I'll be honest when I was young I was expecting Sam for some reason come out of hiding yelling no in slow motion, surprising everyone then the Decepticon drop ship gets hijacked.
Gonna say did enjoy Wheelie and Brains I like them. Glad they we're still around in later films.
I think I've talked too much. Basically I think this is the best Bayformers sequel, this is what we should got gotten as a sequel to the 2007 film. It's better then Revenge Of The Fallen, Age Of Extinction, and The Last Knight.
My only weird complaint that isn't towards the movie.....Dinobots could of been in this some how.....during the battle of Chicago. We should of gotten Dinobots vs the Driller. Grimlock voiced by Vin Diesel or whatever I've had that weird casting idea I think for years. Or even Devastator in this because it's a huge open battle with so many opportunities. While I understand Michael Bay didn't wanna go larger like he did with Revenge Of The Fallen. I'm just disappointed that the next film we got after this was Age Of Extinction.
Tags dealt with sorry that got wrong, their was a lot to talk about. Glad I could talk about this and again I finished my to do list of rewatching the original trilogy. Bring on the new cinematic universe in the Knightverse that started out with Travis Knight's Bumblebee I'm ready for more excellent films.
