Pyramid on Mars?!?!?!?!

Ok, Ok, I found this intriguing to say the least.

I ran across this accusation that NASA's Mars rover photographed a rock that looked just like a Pyramid. (WTF!) Turns out The Mars rover did photograph something that looks just like an egyptian pyramid like the ones we see here on earth. (again WTF!)

Furthermore, there are no additional photographs showing differing views of this "pyramid" rock formation, out of the more than 4000 photographs the mars rover took of this area it apparently only took "one" of the area the pyramid was in (WTF!),..... only one that was released to the public that is,.... Hmmmmmmmmm. (double WTF!)

Hey ya can't make this shit up people.

NASA did not highlight this particular photograph nor make any mention of a "pyramid" having been photographed on Mars, I mean just imagine all the conspiracy theories that would generate over a pyramid on mars!!

The space agency also didn't include a scale with the photograph as it routeinly does with MOST rover photographs, because apparently no one wanted to know what size anything in this photograph was I guess............

And don't go thinking,.... Well it don't look any bigger than the rest of the rocks laying around so it's not all that big, because remember this thing has been there for thousands of years collecting dust, dirt and debris burying it deeper and deeper, so this might just be the tip of the Pyramid buried for thousands of years,.... not unlike the pyramids here on earth, if we hadn't done continued maintenance on them by clearing away the tons of sand blown around them every year we probably wouldn't see them at all today.

So if you ask NASA about any photograph of a pyramid on mars you will be told "There isn't any photograph the mars rover took of a Pyramid".....

End of story!

Therefore, for now we'd have to classify this "pyramid" photograph as another example of "pareidolia", like the "human face" that was supposedly spotted on the red planet.

"Pareidolia" is like the tendency to perceive a specific image in a random or ambiguous visual pattern. The scientific explanation is the human ability to see shapes or make pictures out of randomness crap ya see in anything you look at,..... like when you see faces, and animals in the clouds, or like when religion said thousands saw Jesus part the red sea,.... very ambiguous to say the least.........

It still intrigues the hell out of me though, I rather like the Idea of Egyptians on mars and then moving to the earth because of some catastrophic event forcing them to relocate in the galaxy, and we all come from their DNA and their manipulations with genetics. Because I just don't see the whole God and creation with Adam & Eve, the snake and apple, and Noah's Arc thing being what we are all here about........... and then religion profiteering off humanity evermore,...... that scenario just don't make a damn bit of sense to me.

............... and not that the Pyramid on Mars thing being where we came from does,...... it's just easier to believe than a supreme being nobody ever met that created us and then used us as slaves to profiteer by his representative churches on earth does.

I'm thinking of the "Occam's razor principle" here, and sometimes "The simplest explanation is usually the best one." philosophically speaking that is......

interesting that they focused on junhao for everybody. can understand he probably has the most different and struggle experience so probably more interesting for dramas sake lol im surprised they dont spend more time on shengen, considering his popularity. 

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAA JUNHAO FREAKING OUT over the fact that they only learned the dance for 40 mins. LOL thats the level of tyger + kou cong + shengen, i can imagine the struggle of the yang guang nan hai group in comparison AHAHA i just imagine him running down the hall freaking out like HOW DID THEY LEARN THE DANCE IN JUST ONE CLASS WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE

lol all the kids being like zhang pd’s words are so detailed and professional... sigh theyve been missing out until now 

im glad they really pointed out how each member of this team did well! they really all did a great job with each of their parts, and they each got a little part to shine, and when put together, it was a complete performance. im proud of them and happy for them!

aw.... i feel like we’ve been waiting so long to hear lin mo get complimented.... i feel like it’s been since qcyn namanana that we’ve been waiting for him to redeem himself and climb back up to the peak. ugh its been nearly a year and a half. im just so terrified of whats gonna happen next bc im way too skeptical at this point to expect this high to continue, esp with what happened after namanana last time......... but for now, im happy. relieved hes finally getting the recognition he deserves and im happy that hes happy. lol i was also half scared we were gonna get spirit of the knight-ed again with his pink hair (nightmare flashbacks to lin mo and changxi’s deletion from that perf) i dont think ill ever get over that :( i feel like as a lin mo stan, ive been trained to not keep my hopes up and to prepare for the worst bc hes the type of person who just always gets the short end of the stick, it feels like. 

aw the part when they go back to the waiting room and jin fan is waiting for them with an encouraging smile and the whole exchange of "帥的真的帥的" "哇~可以吧" "我沒想到" "那必須的" our leader did them proud :’) 

ugh the part where luo jie calls them and tells them he can’t come back........ heart breaking. i can see why lin ran and xikan would be really affected. lin ran has been luo jie’s go-to since he left and knowing how their usual friendship involves making fun of one another and jokingly complaining about each other, it hits hard when lin ran says he cried his eyes out. it hurts that they didnt get to share the stage again before he left. xikan may not have shared the stage with luo jie during ip, but hes known him since then and has been with him through both rounds here. it interesting bc i feel like the namanana perf was very light hearted on qcyn but i cant see that happening here, esp with their outfits? 

aw shiwei and chaowen taking charge to raise their spirits :’) 

lin ran’s voice fits so well with this song wow! i really like his lines! also lol i didnt know xikan would have abs but okay and tbh im always hesitant about dances with props bc it always is so easy to look messy..... like every slight difference in angle in the way you hold your arms is immediately magnified 

and like sxl’s fan is obviously broken and having performed fan dances myself i know that that’s like the most annoying thing to happen on stage, and can be really difficult to deal with, even tho it happens ALL THE TIME with those types of fans ugh :( 

i mean its super kind of them to leave luo jie’s space empty for him, but its kinda weird to have parts of the audio missing sadly :( and also chaowen’s voice did something weird in the middle there, like its sounds weirdly weak 

wait didnt yixing tell them to close the fan? but they didnt? 

xikan’s facial expressions are perfecttt, good for him! wish they gave more screen time to shiwei during shiwei’s lines lol... but also i cant help but hear lin mo’s voice during that part LOL ugh speaking of which i miss that team dynamic namanana team a on qcyn HAHAHAH hwx being a brat and fjj running around wild and lin mo giving up on them all just laughing like idiots for hours on end while bo yuan just judges them from a corner LOL i love the beginning of the wenxuan and lin mo friendship good times :’)

I have to agree, the fan pics have not been great, no they haven’t. That could just be rubbish phone cameras, bad angles or bad lighting though. Here’s my theories re the past couple of fan pix:

The fan is apparently from Vienna and mentions ‘her favourite café’ so yes, it could have been local to her. But I’ve often referred to places in cities I’ve only visited as my favourite café/bar/restaurant so that could also be the case, and it’s somewhere she found and likes to hang out in on her trip to Budapest. She won’t say where it was taken so we probably won’t ever know. Unfortunately Jessie and Daisy are even less active on SM than Benny so no hints from them either!

The rest of the cast were on a field trip a couple of days ago, so maybe Benny & Co also headed out on one (train pic with mum/baby). It’s a possibility. I would also expect to see at least one or two more fan pix emerging of them in Vienna as no doubt Benny would insist on some sightseeing and/or museum trips and they’d surely be recognised. None so far!

Or, he never left Budapest and was on a local Metro/tram/bus for the baby pic and in a local café for this most recent one.

not to be controversial but girl groups are the only ones who ever have to 'pick a concept.' like bts and exo do different things every comeback but twice has to keep putting out cute songs and clc has to pick a concept and blackpink has to release the exact same music each comeback. girls are the only ones expected to do the same thing over and over again to be sucessful.

hmmmmmmmmm... thats i feel like a very extensive topic and it’s really interesting to me to know what kind of marketing research and creative process (business vc art) goes into selecting kpop group’s concepts.. cos bangtan were stuck in the same hyyh concept for a few years lol just because that’s what made them boom to begin with lol... 

i think if we look at groups we can find examples of each case, like ggs keeping to the same sound and concept (twice kinda, gfriend bouncing back from fingertip), and successful ggs trying out diff concepts (snsd, afterschool kinda, exid etc)

i would agree that ggs feel more stifled genre/ concept wise, and a few artists seem to be breaking the mold and getting more creative with it (some rv concepts, exid, iu, beg, ladies code, wg) but most i feel like operate on the fact that they’re already big so theyre safe if they experiment musically..

idk if twice Have to put out cute concepts really, but as long as they keep selling mad numbers and top the charts i think jyp sees no reason to risk it with a gfriend fingertip situation lol..

‘How many times are you going to ask that?’ He looked at you.

‘But Xiumin…’ You whined.

A deep sigh came from your boyfriend as he walked towards you and cradled your face in his hand, ‘I know you don’t like the idea of going to this but Irene is still my friend and label mate.’

‘And crush.’ You mumble under your breath.

‘Excuse me?’

It was no surprise that Xiumin and Irene got along very well. They had known each other for a long period of time, but their closeness was something that always irked you slightly. You and Xiumin had been a couple for three years now and it had been the best three years you could ever imagined. Irene was known to have a crush on the male singer, but now it was becoming something of a want. Sighing you just nodded your head and went back to getting ready.

‘You sure that this is just a chilled evening?’ You asked again for the nth time.

‘Just some of her friends and our label mates,’ He reassured, ‘Nothing fancy really.’

Fixing your sweater and skinny jeans in the mirror, you put on some shoes and drove to the Red Velvet dorms with your boyfriend. The weather was threatening to rain so you both dressed yo warmly. Arriving at the door he knocked and waited for the door to open. Bobbing up and down on your toes, you felt him give a slight squeeze of your hand. Turning your head, he placed a sweet kiss on your cheek just as the door opened.

The evening preceded and Irene was irritatingly clingy around Xiumin and you were getting pissed off very quickly. He was your boyfriend yet he was more of Irene’s. He forced you to come to this birthday and socialise yet he was no where close to you. Walking around the dorm, you found yourself on a balcony that looked over the city. You stood by the railing and let out a sign. It was a sigh of frustration, anger and sadness all wrapped up in one. You felt as if you were loosing your boyfriend to the person he swore he didn't like. Wiping the tear that escaped your eye, you heard the door open and close. Not turning around to see who it was, you spat out cold words.

‘If you are here to drag me to socialise, think again Xiumin.’

‘Wow, and here I wanted to have a chat.’ A voice spoke up.

‘Minho?’ You turned on your heels and smiled at the man before you

‘No, its called, ‘Xiumin wants to be around Irene, because he has feelings for her’!’ You accused, and the elder went quiet, ‘You like her, don’t you?’ Xiumin remained silent, ‘I fucking knew it! So all those lunch’s and shit you were going on with her over the past few weeks, it clearly wasn't business, more like pleasure.’

‘You are a fine one to talk!’ He pointed a finger at you, ‘At least I told you I was with her, and just having lunch, nothing more! We were busy talking about doing a collaboration together! You were busy running around with Minho behind my back.’

‘BECAUSE HE WANTED TO SPEND TIME WITH ME!’ You finally exploded, tears threatening to spill, ‘He made time for me, he never waited for me to ask, he just came! Unlike you, who are my BOYFRIEND!’

‘Stop acting like a child,Y/N, GROW UP!’ He shouted back, ‘You know everything was business!’

‘Hyung?’ Sehun poked his head, ‘Dinner is ready, but should we wait?’

Not even wanting to say anything, you turn of your heels and followed Sehun back down to the others. You wipe the tears that had formed in your eyes. This had probably been the first real fight the two of you had ever had and it was painful over other people. You loved Xiumin so much yet there seemed to be a rift forming between the two of you. He came and took a seat next to you with Irene next to him. Dinner went by as you all gathered in the lounge afterwards. The birthday girl had gone to the kitchen before coming back.

‘Let’s play a game!’ She suggested.

‘What you got in mind?’ Xiumin asked.

‘Truth or dare.’ You swore your heart sank at that moment.

‘Oh god Irene, we are not school kids.’ Sehun protested.

The female pointed at the male, ‘If you don’t want to play, then the door is that way.’ She confirmed, ‘It could be fun and why not make a memory out of it.’

‘I agree with Irene.’ Xiumin beamed.

‘Of course you do.’ You muttered under your breath, feeling someone tugging at his sleeve.

‘Come on, it could be fun.’ Minho whispered, ‘You can sit next to me.’

The boys moved the glass table from he centre of the lounge, as they took a seat on the floor in a circle. They all looked like naughty high school kids. The birthday girl placed the bottle in the centre, and looked at everyone with a mischievous grin.

‘May the best man win.’ She snickered, spinning.

The game started off as something innocent until it hit up a notch after a few bottles of soju. At one stage, Suho had to run around the block naked, while Amber had to shave the side of her head and Jonghyun had to sit in nothing but his boxers, yeah, the dares were getting worse by the second. With the bottle in the hand of Sehun once again, he spun and it landed on Irene, a smile creeping on his face.

‘Truth or dare?’ He asked.

‘Hmmmmmmmmm, dare.’ She stated, feeling adventurous.

‘I dare you to lick salt off Xiumin’s finger then the Vodka off his neck, and take the lemon from his mouth.’ The maknae smirked.

‘I must deny th-’ Xiumin was hushed by her finger on his lips.

‘It’s just a game, Xiuminne.’ She purred, ‘I will make it worth your while.’

Those words were only meant for his ears, but you got an earful. Xiumin was slightly drunk himself as he tilted his head causing you to tightened his fists. Minho lodged his thumb into your curled up fingers. You released your grip, and smiled at the elders attempt to sooth you. Your boyfriend caught the action and made up his mind right there. He allowed Irene to place the alcohol on his skin before placing the salt on his index finger and lemon in his mouth.

‘Ready?’

‘Try me, baby.’

Irene smirked, taking Xiumin’s finger in her mouth. She licked up the salt before licking the Vodka quickly, nipping at Xiumin’s sensitive neck earning a moan. Smirking, Irene placed her lips on Xiumin’s. The sight made you uncontrollably angry. Minho noticed the rage written on your face  that he placed a reassuring arm around you. Xiumin slipped a sight, lemon long gone, and kissed Irene. Irene was shocked, but took the opportunity to claim Xiumin’s lip. Pulling away, she pecked Xiumin’s nose, before spinning the bottle again. The green bottle landed on you.

‘Truth or dare?’ Irene asked you.

‘Dare.’

‘Are you sure?’

‘Try me.’

‘With pleasure.’ She took a swig of the wine she had been drinking, ‘I dare you to do a lap dance….on Minho Oppa.’ All colour drained from said male’s face as Xiumin gulped down his tenth soju, ‘And not those boring ones, the most sensual you can muster.’

‘Irene, I don’t think that is-’ You were cut short

‘No excuses,’ Irene rested a hand on Xiumin’s thigh before placing her head on the males shoulder, ‘You asked for a challenge, now do it.’

You felt your blood boil at the sight of Irene and Xiumin. Standing, you felt a bit dizzy but composed yourself. Key had played some sensual music from his phone as you began to move your hips to the music. Walking, you dropped down onto Minho’s lap and placed his hand on the your shoulder.  You were angry and irritated but you knew this was wrong on both men. Leaning in, you whispered to Minho.

‘I’m sorry.’

Xiumin took that whispering as something completely different as he watched you give a lap dance. It was a sensual one to a point where everyone was completely memorised by your movements. Once you finished they all stared at you mindlessly, clapping slowly, when Xiumin got up abruptly and grabbed you.

‘We must go.’ He stated flatly, leaving the dorm quickly.

Everyone looked at you in shock as Xiumin got your belongings, ‘Let go of me, Xiumin!’

Xiumin said nothing, but got to the car and put you in it, ‘Say a word and I swear it will not end well for you.’

You gulped, knowing your boyfriend was drunk. The vehicle drove as you both remained silent with the sound of soft rain falling outside. Arriving home, the doors opened and he dragged you inside before slamming the door behind.

‘WHAT THE FUCK!’ You finally screamed, ‘How dare you manhandle me!?’

‘What the hell was that?’ Xiumin screamed back, ‘Allowing Minho to witness that?!’

‘Minho…MINHO!’ You spat, ‘How dare you make out with Irene, and in front of me!’

‘Only because I saw Minho hold your hand and put his arm around you!’ Xiumin stood up for himself.

‘He wasn’t holding my hand, you idiot! He was unclenching my fists because your damn tongue was down someone else’s throat!’ You retorted, tears in your eyes.

‘I am going for a walk.’ Xiumin took for the door again, ‘I need to clear my head.’

‘DON’T YOU DARE WALK OUT ON ME, WE ARE NOT DONE!’ You scream at your drunk boyfriend.

Slamming the door once again, you fell to your knees in absolute defeat. Letting the tears fall from your eyes, you grunted in frustration as the sobs came. Xiumin wobbled as he walked, the rain wetting his hair. His eyesight was blurry due to his own tears. Stepping along the walkway, he found a park were he took a seat on the swing.

‘Xiumin, you idiot!’ He grunted to himself.

Truth be the matter, the elder wanted this fight to end, he hated that you found refuge in someone so easily. He mentally beat himself for not telling you the truth about the lunch meetings, but now he sat in the rain, and away from the woman he really loved. Hours passed, and it was around 1am. You sat on the bed sniffing. You hadn't stopped crying since Xiumin left, you felt yourself drifting to sleep when the sound of the rain picked up. Rubbing your eyes, you looked around the empty room.

‘Xiumin?’ You sniffed, ‘Where in god’s name is he?’

You pulled your phone out and dialled the number. After around five tries, you eventually gave up. Stepping into the rain, you shielded your eyes and looked at the early morning sky. Anger still boiled in you but you weren't about to let Xiumin wonder into traffic all drunk, or worse, someone else’s bed. Thinking to give up, you walked past the park and saw a figure sitting.

‘Xiumin?’ You shouted, the rain drowning out yours voice.

‘What do you want?’ Xiumin’s voice was cold and bitter as the rain, ‘Here to tell me that you going to leave me for Minho?’

‘Why would I do that?’  You asked with a raised brow, curious to see what the drunk man would say.

‘Because you seem more comfortable with him than with me.’ Xiumin sniffed.

At that moment, you felt your heart shatter and knew that Xiumin was now sober. Xiumin could hold his alcohol and was very quick tempered at times, but always spoke his true feelings when he was arriving at the sober stated. The man before you was truly broken, and it was all over a fight that the two of you didn't want to end. Xiumin was stubborn, but so were you, but he wasn't your friend but your lover.

‘I don’t want to loose you. He whispered, ‘And to see you in the arm of another man, I didn't like the feeling it gave me….please don’t leave me?’

‘Why have you only realised this now?’ You asked with a raised brow, ‘And I am still mad with you for making out with Irene.’

‘I was jealous okay!’ Xiumin now stood up, ‘I was jealous that Minho had his hands on you!’

‘And whose fault is that?’ You asked.

‘Don’t do this, Y/N…’ He pleaded, tears in his eyes again.

‘No!’ You snapped, ‘The only reason we are in this state is because you can’t keep it in your pants!’

‘I never cheated on you with Irene!’ Xiumin fell onto his knees, ‘I would never cheat on you… I love you.’

You could just stretch out this fight, but Xiumin was getting cold and you didn't want him to get sick. This fight was getting old, and you needed to move on from this. Sighing at the broken man before you, you bent down on your knees with the rain pouring down and took Xiumin’s face in your hand’s. The elder was crying and your expression fell soft. Wiping the tears with your thumb, you leaned forward and captured Xiumin’s cold lips with a simple peck.

‘I love you too, Xiumin.’

if i wanna just have it be neat and tidy and only use classpect pairs, then my remaining classes are +heir, -page, and -prince. my remaining aspects are doom, time, and blood. my remaining characters are Lyndel, Dahnte and Tsitas

ho boy. alright. lets just get these three fine folks defined so i can then fuck with them. Lyndel is almost 100% passive by her nature. she loves helping others. she negotiates with Dahnte, a man she doesnt particularly enjoy interacting with, for her friends benefit. she likes coordinating things and helping to lead, but crucially she doesnt WANT to be a leader. she doesnt want to make the actual plans, she just wants to help execute them properly. perhaps indecisive, requiring the guidance of others, or requiring clear instructions to give her some sort of purpose.

Dahnte is a cunt. tadaa! ok, well. he’s a manipulator. he likes getting what he wants, and he cares little for the thoughts of others. there IS a clear exception - Tsitas. Dahnte will do most anything Tsitas asks of him, even go against his own principles (to an EXTENT). if he thinks doing something with help Tsitas, he’ll do it. which would make him passive, no? noup! firstly because its SOLELY for her and not the other 6 players, and partly because it makes him look better to her, making it a selfish act.

Tsitas is a manipulator, but far less overtly a cunt. She’s a negotiator, and shes good at getting people to agree to do things they dont want to (like Dahnte) and at doing things against their own best interests. its all about her and her Squad (aka herself, Dahnte, and possibly Endlyn as one of the very few lowbloods that she can stand to be friendly to) and their interests. which could actually make her passive, which could be an interesting route to take.

ok. we’ve got a passive changer, an active destroyer, and an active server/exploiter. ok. Page as the exploiter IMMEDIATELY fits into all three, which is awkward. Lyndel is far less overt about it in terms of being a manipulator of others, but she does push responsibility unto others. she JUST wants to serve, even if being a leader might be whats required of her in the situation. she wants to help, but her way, on her terms. and that term is ‘i am not in command’. if the Page is the class that makes others into Knights (guiders), then this makes perfect sense for Lyndel, as one who doesnt want to make the choices herself. so if Lyndel is a Page, the Page of What? i dont think of Blood, because Lyndel’s relationships to others are strong enough and she doesn’t need guidance in this respect, even though a Knight of Blood (the passive counterpart) is a natural leader (but only in terms of keeping the team together, iirc). she doesnt have much stake in keeping people friendly (since she keeps holding a grudge against Iliyas and doesn’t really seek to resolve it). Page of Doom, though? i think i see it. a Knight would guide in the face of destruction, show others the way (in a vague sense, lol) and i think maybe Lyndel asking others to be that, to show her how to do this, fits in with her admiration of Junzha’s dedication to healing (and the fact that he is actually a Knight of Life - he and Lyndel are a natural fit in this respect. if inversion theory is true, these two? ho fuck). i kinda dig that. ok, lets say this is true. this means Lyndel is active, a Page of Doom. this means that Tsitas is passive, which is interesting. 

heir prince blood time. if Lyndel is active, this means the classes of the remaining two fall into place. Tsitas becomes an Heir, and Dahnte becomes a Prince. but of what. the obvious one would be Dahnte as a Prince of Blood - destroying the personal connections of those around him for his own benefit. his first show of this, of course, is when he sends the drones to cull Serren, sending rippling fractures through the group. While Iliyas eventually deflects the fractures to an extent, they are still there, especially with Lyndel, Junzha, and Rhiana. it also partly damages his relationship with Iliyas, which doesn’t really bother him. and, of course, on a literal level, he destroys Serren’s blood by killing her and triggering her Heart powers, causing her to come back as a bloodless ghost. All for the intent of bettering himself in Tsitas’ eyes! of course if he’d known Serren would revive as a ghost out for fucking blood (haha) he probably wouldnt have done that, because hes scared of ghosts. ooh, perhaps BECAUSE of that bloodless quality? he cannot kill ghosts. he is vulnerable to them. hmmmMMMMMM oh god thats good shit, actually. fuck. oh man.

which makes Tsitas the Heir of Time. A changer of it, for the benefit of others. id not call her selfless to any severe degree, but compared to Dahnte? mmm saintly. because she has mastered the art of compromise. She understands that it is truly in her best interests to support others (even before the game she understands this, and projects an air of reason. when her power base is stripped from her, this becomes completely ingrained as like, a survival mechanism.) and shes willing to go against her personal beliefs (in highblood superiority, for instance) to do things for others. in terms of Time? She rolls with the hits as they come, and her acts of time travel are almost definitely all in response to a doomed timeline, rather than preventing them. its not necessarily a lack of foresight, but she reacts to the knowledge and works backwards. so there are likely a good number of doomed timelines this session, but all of them are fairly short lived after the branch - as soon as Tsitas understands, its corrected. Reactive to the will of Time. it also speaks to her ability to accept change moving forward - for time ever marches, and time ensures change, and she accepts it. her change in status from defacto leader to Just Another Member? frustrating, but acceptable. she will manage. Perhaps she will attempt to puppeteer from the sidelines for a while, before accepting her losses and moving forward. thats possibly the most important thing - as the heir of time, she is something approximating an embodiment of it, and its dauntless march ever onward. she doesn’t let things phase her. well, usually. there are likely moments where she’ll crack, where the inevitabilities of whats around her get too much, and she experiences a crisis of faith. but she is able to recover. because time always recovers.

most of this is incredibly vague bullshit but i THINK i like these. i think these work well.
