Following the other's movements across the kitchen through the squintiest of squints, DK flinches as the sink light joins in on his post midnight misery, and a low rumble of a growl threatens the box's seams once more. It's like he knows he's being a dick, but he's just able to hide it from looking like a doofus, he thinks to himself.

Though, not one to miss an opportunity for calories like any self respecting Kong in prime bulk season, the milk mug in Luigi's possession is not lost on his radar, squinty as it is.

"Well whhhhhy NOT? I'm working double time to get big this season, and your lack of support is hittin' me real deep." And to make matters worse, Luigi confirms his suspicions by claiming a box he quite clearly FIT IN was too small. Did that mean he was too small!? Fuck!

" Without abandoning his cardboard nest, because now he's really determined to pop it open by simply sitting still so he can prove to himself the bulk was going great, he glares down Luigi through the hair curl drooping just barely over his eyes.
