HEADCANON :: Poppy is capable of speaking to and being understood by things other than pokémon. In fact, she’d be pretty confused if you somehow mistook her every word as “ace!” this and “cin! cin!” that all the time. How on earth is she supposed to have a conversation like that? Why she can do such a thing while the majority of her kind seem to just repeat their names over and over in the ears of others is still a mystery to her however. Perhaps it’s a talent she was born with or maybe it’s something that she ate. Who can say really? She’s not one to look a gift horse in the mouth.
