"Travel? Hmm.." Llany asked, counting the coins in his coinpurse. He chewed on the inside of his lip, counting barely enough to buy the fabric. Would that mean tomorrow is the last time to come around?

"Well, I do hope I have time to come by tomorrow then!" he said with a soft laugh, reaching over to hand the merchant the coins...before he felt it.

He blinked, ears pinned against his head, and his warm smile faltering as a sudden chill rushed through his body.

Despite the chill, he put his smile back on and forced his hand to stay. His other hand went to clutch the pendant on his neck, panicking as he felt the pulse of purifying magic under his fingers, confirming his fears.

A demon was near.

"Mm. I live outside of towns. Never in." It was better that way for everyone. "I'll come back tomorrow to sell more, but after that I travel."

The young woman grabs her money pouch and drags it closer alongside herself as she scoots closer to the stranger and outstretches her palm.

"Thirty." Thirty gold for two squares. It might've been erring on the edge of steep pricing, but her larger squares were valuable. They took a lot of time to prepare, and many times she would have to wake up exceptionally early to get a headstart on building her stock.

But again that nagging discomfort... it suddenly feels stronger now. Did it... increase the moment she got closer to the stranger?? That would be odd, but... she had no other explanation for it. Though it may have been hard to see under the hat and cloak, and she was actively trying to hide it, but the merchant was beginning to look slightly unwell. It wouldn't have been so bad if it weren't for the fact that Shade was writhing uncomfortably beneath the surface...
