"Fun?", the Pearl's voice wobbles as she says the word, sounding like she's spitting out an awful tasting food. She bites back the urge to wince at how sharply her voice had raised. Hopefully no one heard or paid attention to that. At least, she's hoping so as her eyes flit over to a cream colored Pearl stationed next to her.

Her brows furrow and she readjusts her posture, letting out a snort of derision, allowing her own eyes to slide shut. A modicum of peace she'd take ever since she'd been busy dealing with her Jade and this... purple pest that had been bothering her all day. "If you really have to know-" Peacock keeps her voice low, speaking through gritted teeth. "We don't do anything. We're supposed to stay here while the ball is going on."

Ophelia's behavior from earlier remains clear in her mind and she feels the need to, no, has to add, "So unless you want to make a spectacle of yourself by charging out there and interrupting it like a clod, stay here."

Queue Update + Replies

I noted in the tags for today that I like having each day kind of “self-contained,” almost like chapters or episodes. I’m going to keep doing that for the next couple of weeks, so tomorrow and Thursday’s queues will be shorter than normal--5 posts tomorrow, between 4 and 10 PM EST, and 10 on Thursday, between 4 and 12 AM EST. So if my queue gets weird some days--that’s why.

This will also PROBABLY be my last big reply post til we’re done this section. Unless something comes up that needs answering immediately.

There’s so much I can say about Halsey. I really, really love her. This was my second time seeing her live--I saw her in support of Badlands, as well. HFK was definitely more theatrical, but she’s... still very authentic, for a pop star. Towards the end, before singing “Is There Somewhere” from Room 93, she asked “Have you guys heard my EP?” And it was the cutest thing. Like she forgot for a second that “oh yeah, this is an arena tour that I’m headlining”... Which is exactly what she said afterwards.

I seriously love Halsey. I’ve been stanning her since my sister sent me a link to Room 93 and said, “OMG listen to this” and I’ll keep stanning her.

Also, Charli XCX opened which was kind of ???? for me--but she played like all of her bops... And did “Fancy” too haha.

Extra in the sense that Eggsy is the family drama queen. She’s way too damn much, nonstop 24/7. Ria doesn’t mean it in a bad way (the only one she has a negative opinion of is Tilly, and that’s just matter of fact. Tilly IS kind of a jerk!)

Luna doesn’t know the whole story just yet. Veri gave Luna and Ria an abridged version that went something like, “Ries and I were hanging out and his father showed up and he was super awful and he called me names and made us break up and it was terrible.”

But just think--no one else in the house has connected the dots just yet. Some of what Veri’s doing is totally normal for her (after all, she DID mope around the house and sleep way too much after she and Ries were separated the first time; she IS more introverted than Ria or Eggsy)....

Jokes aside: Guys, they were virgins. It was not as amazing as it could have been... It was over and done in like a minute tops, Veri didn’t even get her sweater off yet!! 

I... I really love my children, but I’ve been skipping over the more useless dialogue--I deleted a lot of writing and pictures of them being cute but awkward and a bit of “okay where does it go” type stuff--which is cute, and realistic, but didn’t fit well into the queue and dragged the scene out a looooooot longer than it was. So I cut it.

However, it WAS super unclear, so I’ll try to make it a little more clear in future :D
