"Not to mention there are those of Heaven's Court that are still on the long ass case about Randy. Even if we've shown that he's already reformed into sanity, and we do have the best lawyer...They still are convinced that he might revert back."

Meanwhile, back with Rose, Aladin and Charlie.

"Oh my gosh! Nice to meet you!" Charlie was always up to meeting new friends and shaking Rose's hand with a smile, "Mates, huh?"

"Er, it's nice to meet you as well," Rose glanced at Aladin and saw he was cool and relaxed, giving a warm smile, "Welcome to the Mansion. I hope that you feel comfortable and I've heard all about you. And Al is right, if there's anything you wanna ask or talk, we're here for you,"

"Gosh t-thanks..." Charlie looked like she was going to cry again, but this time, it was more of being grateful to have someone listen to her, and Rose was almost alarmed, looking to Aladin helplessly.

"Are you guys seriously spying on people again?" Lee was stepping into the room, hands on his hips as he looked almost scolding, even though his eyes showed he was amused, "I thought I told you guys to clean up because of the newcomers into the Mansion are coming."

"Hello, Dear." He replied and hugged her before he nodded. "Charlie, this is my mate, Rose. Rose, Charlie Morningstar." He introduced the girls to one another, smiling since he had a good idea that Charlie and Rose would understand one another on a different level than he could.

"Charlie, if you ever want to talk about whatever is on your chest, we'll listen."

Aladin didn't know that a few of his stepsiblings were watching from the shadows using their mother's mirror and smirking as they watched the scene unfold. "About time." "Easy Clipsy." "Aye, ye canna expect her to accept dis right off de bat." "Anyone else getting soap opera vibes from this?" "We got to get you away from those, Li..."

Khan huffed a little longer before he nipped at Felix's neck and sighed. "No, I can't...damn you for being cute." He grumbled before he soon asked Felix what he could do to help. "Mom's in Heaven trying to reinstate Peter and Emily, the council told me to make myself scarce for a bit."

3. What is your writing ritual and why is it cursed?

picture this, if you will:

i wake up. i am groggy for roughly three business days. i slam an energy drink such that i do not taste it. i do a little bit of light reading while waiting for the energy drink to take hold, then i take my WONDERFUL daily antibiotic for my WONDERFUL lyme disease that definitely doesn't make my insides feel like a battleground, then, once i feel those first tingles of artificial energy pumpin through my veins, i crack open my writing docs and see where the spirit moves me that day

i should note this ritual does not always take, but when it does, often i am lost in a writing trance that lasts several hours and ends only once my attention breaks and i realize how very, very hungry i am 😔

10. Has a piece of writing ever “haunted” you? Has your own writing haunted you? What does that mean to you?

weARY SIGH. yeah. yeahhhhh if we're going to talk about hauntings, we may as well. i am deeply, deeply haunted by my silent hill 2 fic, soft reset, that's been gathering dust since...about 2015 lol. it's about half-finished, and i want to finish it someday, really i do, but um, as it turns out...for anyone who hasn't played sh2, a really, really key part of the plot itself revolves around serious illness and the horror that surrounds, like...not just the person who is sick having to suffer, but also their family and loved ones being impacted by it, and UNFORTUNATELY for that fic, i started posting it riiiight as i was coming off taking care of a sick family member...aaaaaand right as i myself became sick, so. it's sort of. stuck in limbo right now. i still love it, i still really, really want to finish it, and i have SO MUCH written for it just sitting on my computer, but...idk man, it's been hard to think about going back to since it's...too relevant to stuff i'm dealing with atm, if that makes sense

maybe when that sh2 remaster/remake comes out for ps5, though. mayyyyyybe. we will see.

16. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever used as a bookmark?

aw man, i don't know how CURSED it is, but since i mostly dog-ear books to keep my place, really the only memory of an out-of-the-ordinary bookmark i use/have used is, uh...i can't remember when or why this habit started, but i...only use paperclips as bookmarks while reading house of leaves??? it's just like. that is my house of leaves bookmark, a paperclip, and idk it's just always been that way XD

Sooooo, we're getting the 10 option polls for this round, aren't we? Well, then, this is gonna be a short and sweet one. It's weird to think how this round will end before Artfight, when you consider the length of the others.

I don't really have anything else to note, except that the things I've said at the start of round 3 apply even more here. In this round, the amount of rooms I don't feel positively about, is at most in the single digits. They're gonna be getting low placements for the smallest of reasons (as well as personal biases, cus those will absolutely play a huge part in these lategame polls :>)

Extra comment: Well, you guys have an interesting taste here, that's for sure.

I'm genuinely very surprised that RAIL02 is holding out this well. I mean, do get it, but also… it's not a very popular room to visit, is it? I have been around OE a couple times (doing all the endings, and finding all the collectibles), and I think I have only went there once, and it didn't really stick with me. But that absolutely can happen. Sometimes, you get a fan favorite thing in a video game that just doesn't click, while something that nobody enjoys ends up becoming the thing for adore. And what do ya know, this ends up happening to me quite frequently in every video game I play, and Rain World is certainly no exception. (Because, as a reminder - I'm like, one of the only people in the community that wouldn't rank Past Garbage Wastes as an F- region. I actually sort of enjoyed that place, especially when I got to utilize the acid in combat)

Basement and C02 getting through makes much more sense. Sure, you could call the authenticity of the voters into questions, but those rooms do have enough going for them, that I'm willing to look past their iconic nature, of being 'the MSC team graffiti' and 'everyone's new favorite Echo'. Especially because the way C02 works with its Drainage System counterpart…. it's fricking masterful!

…..aaaaaand this is where I'd normally end it off, but I'm just noticing that there's a bit of a change, and that we're actually getting 5 rooms through, instead of having the threshold at the usual 10% or 15%? That's…. an interesting way to go about it, for sure. But I'm a bit confused on how this might work, since the 5th spot is currently shared between 4 rooms, meaning that you're either bringing 8 to the next round, or just 4. This is why the cutoff point worked so well, since the distinction between the winners and the loosers was always crystal clear. I suppose the goal here was to increase the amount of rooms that will get to the next round, since we've most commonly had 3 or 4 per poll before (we've seen some 5s and 6s, but they were quite rare). And if that's the case, then the tying rooms should probably all be allowed through, cus otherwise, we'd be back at less than half rooms getting through on average, just with a little more leniency.

But it's still your call, of course.

I don't think I have much to add to the other ones, since them being on the lower end of votes does make sense. Except splitpath. Y'all are sleeping on that one. It's such a unique and well thought out and surprisingly memorable place. It's a very important part of the introduction to Metropolis, too. But I'm not gonna ramble more about that, the reblog is already quite long xd
