“Ah, come on, now!”  Vivi giggles aloud.  “If ya can hold still for me for just a bit longer, I can redden those cheeks a bit more if ya just let me finish your lipgloss, Honey.”  Although her words came as a warm lull, her hand was stiffly clenched onto the bottom jaw of her companion’s features.  In one hand, her fingers felt cool against the hot warmth of Riley’s cheeks, and in the other she was holding the other’s lipgloss brush between a simple thumb and index.

“Didn’t ya ask me to help put this on ya or what?”  She tilts her head in that instant.  “Or are ya being a bit fussy on purpose?”

Had it not been for Riley's ever looming anxiety of ruining her friendship with her childhood best friend, she would have replied: "You're reddening them plenty already, Viv."

Instead, she just continued to fidget and squirm under Vivi's weight as she did her make-up. Yes, she had asked Vivi for help getting ready for some fancy ass party her aunt had invited her to. But that didn't mean she was fully prepared for Vivi to pin her down to her own bed, straddling her, to do her make-up! With her cool fingers holding Riley's face in place, she couldn't deny how hot the room had suddenly become, her face flushed brighter than her hair.

"What exactly a-are you implying?" She asked as Vivi tilted her head. "'Cause if anyone here's doing somethin' on purpose, it's you."
