It had been roughly three weeks since Dam first went missing, and due to that, Shuichi felt it necessary to avoid falling for someone from the same family. But then... well, it happened. Kokichi would just have to suck it up, he told himself, he could have his cake and eat it, too.

Immediately wrapping an arm around he younger detective's neck, Dazai beamed excitedly.

"Tell me dear investigator! How well is your deductive reasoning? Any famous cases I should know about? Anything special to your heart?"

"Perhaps something with a Carnival Games you'd like to share?~"

"H-huh?!"

Nearly jumping away from the other, Shuichi dropped the book and pen residing in his hands. The younger detective visibly tensed up once the other’s arm was wrapped around his neck. Trying his best not to make eye contact, he looked towards the ground; more specifically towards the fallen book and pen.

"I’m.. not really much of a detective- I uh. just got.. lucky, with a case, that’s all."

"You’ve been here longer than me, haven’t you? I’m sure whatever I have to say about those.. “games” you would probably already know.."

"I'm not sure if you'd care or not, but I've got something to tell you.."

Shuichi is very anxious. He's still not sure if Kotoko trusts him or not, and he just has the anxiety in general. However, he eventually does work up the courage, and knocks on Kotoko's door.

Luckily, rather than Kokichi or Hiyoko answering the door, because Mod can't bear to see Shuichi upset, Kotoko answers.

"Saihara-San! You came! Ouma told me you probably wouldn't come because you're 'such a recluse', whatever that means!"

                          kaede’s words make him  freeze  for a moment,  golden eyes a little wide as he looks at her,  stunned.�� it’s so rare for people to recognize his efforts  --  recognize that sometimes things are just  so hard  for him and yet he keeps trying anyway  --  that he genuinely doesn’t know how to respond.  but then again ...  he’s never really gotten why kaede is so nice to him,  treats him with so much kindness.

                           “ akamatsu - san ... ”  his voice is quiet,  almost as shy as their first few conversations.  he clears his throat.  “ i ,,,  thank you. ”

❥: Shuichi isn’t the fondest of punishments. He just wants to treat his darling right..with just a little..well a little? Some manipulation here and there. But mostly, he’s touch starved and craves affection. He’s very clingy and wants to be by your side. He wants to protect you.

❥: Which is why he takes ‘punishments’ as actual punishments. He really does want you to learn that what you did was bad.

❥: His punishments, like most yandere’s vary from the severity of what you’ve done. Refusing affection? All you’re gonna get is an annoyed grumble.

❥: Shuichi doesn’t exactly like physical punishments. He doesn’t want his ‘lover’ to hate him! But, if that’s how you choose to learn from your actions..so be it.

❥: Shuichi’s non physical punishments usually result and you getting scolded.

“Why are you being..so distant from me. I don’t wanna hurt you but you REALLY are making it hard for me not to.”

❥: The first time he says it..it’s a bluff. The second time, not at all.

❥: But he usually only indorse physical punishments once you escape. When he gets you back, your ropes are extremely tight around your arms as you’re met with a..parental like Shuichi? He tells you off and then..grabs a knife. He stab you in the shoulder as he cries a little.

“I don’t want to do this again! Please, sweetheart..I don’t wanna hurt you.”

❥: Out of guilt, he immediately aids you and starts cuddling with you. Against your will of course. But you really shouldn’t fight back. That pity could turn into anger if you don’t watch out. Shuichi isn’t at all what he is like now when he snaps.

❥: If you really are a nuisance…Shuichi would have no choice but to lock you up. Completely isolated. No phone. No window, only some air conditioning and some food. All you get to see is his hand giving the food to you.

❥: He gets you out..once more out of pity after a week or so. He then embraces you and hopes you learned your lesson..really..don’t act up after that. If he has to , he can get as cruel as..Well.. Kokichi..but only if you REALLY manage to get on his bad side. Of course he still loves you! But you need to learn!

❥: Shuichi has a lot of patience. I mean, being a detective solving a case also takes a long time..so..he thinks before he does things to you. He doesn’t snap easily, as I’ve mentioned.

❥: Shuichi doesn’t want to hurt you. So please, don’t make him.

Hiii, Leeann! 🤗💜 I’m doing just fine, thanks for asking! In fact, I have MANY Danganronpa related plans and topics to talk about… but recently, their implementation has been seriously hampered by the latest tasks before my graduation from the university 😅 Anyway, you made a request the day I have some free time, so I’m happy to spend it by answering ✨

Maybe for a change we should talk a little bit about Ougoku!🐞🎲 The only thing: I’m not sure it’s going to be full-blown headcanons, more like the thoughts that come into my mind..~

To tell you the truth, I’ve been deciding for a VERY long time whether I want to ship Kokichi and Gonta 😅 The problem was… how problematic Ouma is in such matters xD I can’t call myself an expert in his personality, and I haven’t played the game to saying things like "it's undeniable truth"… But I think it’s incredibly difficult to gain his trust in any kind of relationship. Moreover, in the game (as far as I know), Kokichi openly and repeatedly uses Gonta’s physical strength, kindness, and credulity – it can alienate many people; make them think that this relationship would be unhealthy :<

That’s what happened to me until I started looking into their art, fantasizing, and read a little comic ^^ Now I'm strongly believe that Kokichi blamed himself for the Gonta's death and didn't want to proceed with such measures. Their early relationship still seems to me full of drama (or just strained) because it's gonna be hard for Ouma to get over himself anyway… Perhaps he will see Gonta as an "old version of himself" who hates so much (cause' he's clearly not born a pathological liar) or, in principle, will push him away from himself, not understanding why Gonta continues to trust him 😩💢

But I’m pretty sure they’re strong enough to overcome all of this 😌After all, their recent DRS events show that they are able to understand each other better than anyone else. Kokichi sees through the Gonta, but he seems very reassured by the fact that Gokuhara always remains as he is 💜 As for Gonta, I really like the hc, that he’s insightful enough to know when Ouma’s lying and when he’s saying at least part of the truth *^* Not to mention his ability to appreciate Kokichi's tricks and foolery, 'cause it’s always fun around him 💚

Idk, it’s like there’s some sort of special bond between them… Of course, it’s possible I feel that way because of the visual contrast 😅 But I really can’t help but think that when Ougoku officially start dating, it’s gonna be an adorably comfortable couple >^< They’re so suited to some platonical interaction: quiet tight hugs before sleep; tangible protection of each other from any dangers; wordless support…

I suppose they wouldn’t advertise their relationship in any way, so for all their classmates (in a universe without a Killing Game or where most of them survived) guessing about it would be a huge shock 😂 Especially for Kaito (yeah, I’ll bring my BROT3 back here again :-P), although a little later he’ll even tease Kokichi about it 😄 Shuichi probably would have been worried about Gonta at first, but then, he would be genuinely pleased that there is a person able to understand and accept Ouma 😊

Also, I have a few more thoughts on Gonta’s meeting the Dice-gang!! It's possible that following old habits, Kokichi will want to make his boyfriend a member of his organization… ^^" But he'll quickly realize that their "activities" not suitable for Gokuhara and decide to help him in his entomological researches in end 🔎 Gonta, in turn, will be very honoured and delighted that Ouma has peoples at his side that can be with him if Gonta suddenly can't 😊

General Appearance:  looks a LOT like kaede, but has shuichi’s eye color.  likes to wear mixes of pastels and dark colors.  she has a pair of fuzzy earrings that she wears everywhere.  and of course she has an ahoge have u ever done punnet squares

Personality:  EXTREMELY  cheerful and bubbly.  remarkably smart but likes to act like an airhead so it’s hard to tell.  just a little bit clumsy;  tends to fall over a lot.  adores pastel and cutesy things;  her room is a shrine to hello kitty.  loves sweets,  too.  adores mystery novels and likes to talk to her dad about his cases.

Special Talents:  very good at baking and generally making sweet stuff;  okay at cooking too,  but prefers to stick with desserts.  perceptive and emotionally intelligent.

Who they like better: loves both her parents equally!

Personal Head canon:  conceiving her was a  VERY  difficult and expensive affair,  partially because shu being trans required a lot of treatments for them to even have a biological kid together and partially just because there was trouble getting it to stick.  as a result her parents dote on her and kind of think of her as their little miracle.
