Josie goes to Belgium to visit Penelope after leaving to try and help Hope but finds herself getting on a flight somewhere she never expected to go.

Josette Laughlin:

After Lizzie becomes a heretic, Jo is resurrected for xyz reason and helps her daughter understand what it truly means to be a heretic (and what not to do)

Jo survived Kai’s attack, carries the twins to almost full term and gets to be their mother.

Klaus Mikaelson:

Camille survived, he spends his years proving he can be enough to have her love. bonus points if they have a magical baby. I’m a sucker for baby plots.

Klaus admits early in season one the depth of his feelings for Hayley, perhaps even get into a relationship.

The previous point ^^ + a second magical baby whether it be twins when Hope was born or a second baby later on.

Post TO, Klaus can’t leave his daughter as an orphan, he travels the world and tries to woo Caroline.(or has won her over and they are together)

Klaus and Caroline get together when their children were young (no Alaric in this scenario whether he left or died) so they have three talented daughters to raise.  (Inspo from Cursedbcrn’s own post like this)

Klaus helps to turn Hope’s humanity back on.

Kol Mikaelson:

Kol had been working on reverse engineering his mother’s spell that bound him as an original vampire. Finally, with help of his wife, he’s managed to undo it. (two options: one, he’s an uber old and strong witch, he is incredibly knowledgeable. two, he is a heretic ) (Davina or any muse)

Kol pretty much adopts Hope after Klaus dies, leaving his niece without a parental figure. He avoids Mystic Falls when possible but happily steals her away for weekends and holidays spent with Davina and him.
