To keep this more simplified, due to her lack of cursed energy in youth && being granted such a high blessing, the Kobayashi family was ready to prepare Sayuri for a life as a brilliant performer. It wasn’t until she was cursed that they would start to prime her for leading their assassination unit until having to use her as a political bargaining chip to spare her execution. Since they prefer to keep out of jushiki society’s nonsense, her birth was a surprise to the rest of the nobility in Kyoto, the last daughter of Jorōgumo was seen 100+ years ago.
