Here he was, slumping though the heavy rain on his trusted Roach, the head of his most recent kill ---- a fiend ---- dangling on the horse’ left flank as people he passed that still didn’t find shelter from the rain gave him both curious and scared looks, perhaps more so because of the rather ugly mug of the beast than his own appearance, even if it didn’t truly compliment him either. The witcher was covered in the mix of blood and mud, both running down his face and armor due to the rain. And no matter how many times Geralt had been through it, it still fascinated him how people never understood the simple fact that the only thing separating them from the monsters were witchers.

With a heavy sigh, he halted Roach at the inn, jumping off and getting even more mud on his armor and boots before letting the mare go to the feeding and water trough. The whole village next over pitched in for the contract, which earned him enough money to actually be able to afford ---- at least he hoped so ---- a place to stay for the night and perhaps a meal if he felt like it. usually he preferred to sleep under the stars, but having a roof over his head on rainy nights such as these was also nice.

The door creaked open as he pushed it, the eyes of the local patrons on him instantly, which only had the white haired witcher keep his guard up. There was always one or the other idiot who just had the need to challenge a witcher and would end up dead one way or the other. Geralt hoped that at least this evening, he’d have his peace. Once he got a place to sleep from the innkeep ---- just a bench in the back of the inn, but even that was better than nothing ---- the witcher moved to the corner of the inn, cat-like amber eyes carefully observing the once again cheerful bunch gathered inside and drinking ale to their hearts content.

It was a pretty late night for Donald to be out and about. He'd run out of food for Lune ( his new duckling ) so was trying to find just one store that would have what he needed for her.

But that was kind of unlikely at 1am. So he was taking a stroll too. The summer night air was pretty refreshing on his feathers. He'd often taken these kinds of walks back home. It helped calm him down.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw some movement. It was intriguing to him, so he walked up to get a slightly closer look. He recognized the appearance pretty quickly, gasping in shock.

[ Uriah?? Is that you buddy? ] Donald called out. [ What'cha doing out here on the streets? I know you gotta place to sleep somewhere else. ] he was trying to keep a little bit light-hearted, but he was genuinely pretty concerned for his well-being.

Bakugo likes when you trace and touch his scars

For a guy that constantly hates when people touch him ,he sure as hell doesn’t mind when you touch and rub around his marks on his right arm.

He’s not even left handed but he takes the sacrifice and struggles to use his left to text or write whenever you come beside him and poke and rub against his bicep. He’s sensitive on some areas even 8 years later, but he loves the warm comfort you bring when you do so.

Sometimes you don’t even realize you’re doing it, your chubby cheek mashed against his arm, cuddled up by him like a cat and rubbing it up and down as you watch a show, he glances down at you and can’t help but feel his cheeks warm. You give this man cute aggression.

Some days you sneak in a few kisses on his hand. Though it’s scarred it’s never calloused, still soft and warm, it took some time for Bakugo to even get used to your clingyness, and you respected it. In the beginning, Every once in a while you’d ask “May I touch you?” Which, he’d never admit to but he appreciated your asking heavily, not a lot of people respect his boundaries to NOT touching him, but you always did.

Eventually he just told you ,”touch me whereever you want.” In his aggressive way, but you took heed and did so.

After finally getting comfortable you couldn’t stop touching and kissing him.

His skin was soft, he smelled amazing, and he always made you feel so safe. Just like he is now;

The snow is falling, the fire is burning, and it’s his day off, you’re laying beside him on the cozy big couch not even paying attention to the show but his arm and face, giving it little kisses and gentle touches, Bakugo humming every once in a while when you touch a soft spot on him. He doesn’t mind it all, he’s watching you through his phone, recording you lost in your own world of fascination with his skin—-because of course he has a staring problem just like how you have a touching problem.

being apart from you is a nightmare for hyuck. he's naturally clingy, always close whenever he's with you. but when he's away, its like his clinginess amplifies a thousand times.

if he's the one who's busy, he'll video-call you the second he has any free time, even if it's just a simple “hi”, he can't help but want to see your pretty face and hear your sweet voice.

and when you're the one who's busy? your phone will be bombarded with his texts, asking what you're doing, who you're with, and why you're not with him. if you take too long to respond, he starts sending texts like, “so what position are the two of you in rn?” or, ��i know you hate me at least say it to my face.”

and just when you're about to nag at him for being ridiculous, he always makes sure to send you a selfie of himself, teary eyed with a cute pout, accompanied with a, “i just miss you :(”

jaemin swears he misses you all the time, but when the two of you are truly apart, he goes the extra mile to make sure you feel it too.

To Lando the place he found happiness was whereever your were, but the place he found peace was always the beach.

You had met in the kitchen in the early hours of the morning, neither of you could sleep with the hot summer European air.

It took a lot of convincing from Lando for you to agree to take a walk to the beach this early in the morning, especially when you were more concerned about his busy schedule that day.

"Isn't it nice?" Lando asks turning to you, watching as you stared out to the sea "It is" you smile "I do need to talk to you, and I need you to talk to me. It's just us. Nobody else around"

He sighs, following your eyes to the water, nodding his head in agreement "Alright"

"You know how much I love you, I love everything about you, except one thing"

"Oh yeah and what's that?"

"How hard you are on yourself, why do you only see the bad things? Why not the good?" you ask resting your head on his shoulder. He leans down and kisses your head before speaking

"It took me five years for me to get my first win, a lot of people don't like me and critique me for every little mistake. If I notice my mistakes before everyone else then it won't hurt as much when I read them"

"I understand what you are saying Lando, but you only focus on the mistakes that you do, you never see the good. Look at every podium you've gotten this year alone and instead of expecting a win every single weekend, this year is tough and it's very competitive"

"I just want to be the best, look at Max, he's winning championships, winning race after race. That's what I want to do"

"It great to be inspired by someone Lan but there's no point in comparing yourself to someone when you can make a name for yourself. I wish you saw yourself the way that I saw you" you couldn't help but let the tears fall from your eyes, lifting your head to face him

"And how do you see me?" he asks wiping the tears that had fell to your cheeks, resting his forehead against your "An amazing driver, a kind person with the biggest heart, someone that would do anything for his friends. A future world champion" you whisper

He leans down, kissing your neck "You don't understand how much I love you, thank you for understanding me"

You stayed on the beach a little longer, before heading back to the apartment. You both decided to go into Lando's to the bed

You watched carefully as the end of qualifying approached, Lando setting a good lap with only a short time left.

In Monaco, qualifying mattered hugely since it was a hard track to over take on during the race.

“Come on Lan” you whispered to yourself “He’s going to do it” a voice appears behind you, you turn to see Andrea with a smile on his face as he puts a hand on your shoulder

As soon as he crossed the line and set the fastest lap time of the session, you ran to where he would be to congratulate him.

“Good qualifying ay?” Zak approaches you with a smile, you return the smile and clap your hands as Lando get out the car, he take his helmet off kissing your cheek and hugging you

“I’m so proud of you”

“Thanks princess”

He greets the rest of the team, hugging them while they congratulate him, before he goes to his interviews he squeezes your hand that held onto the barricade. You could feel your heart pounding against your chest.

“You guys are doing a good job” Zak whispers “At what?” you ask turning to face him “Pretending you’re in love with each other” he laughs as if it’s obvious

“We’re not” you stop yourself before you can safe anything more “Thanks Zak. I need to go to the bathroom, tell him that i’ll meet him outside his garage?”

“Sure thing”

Knowing Lando will take a while you don’t rush, you go to the bathroom in his drivers room and pack up some of his stuff while you wait. Leaving fresh clothes for him for after his shower.

After half an hour, you leave his drivers room and take your seat in his garage, sent a text to both your family and his family keeping them updated with their busy schedules.

“Princess!” Lando yells running towards you, you stand him and jump on him while he picks you up “Pole sitter for the Monaco Grand Prix, I never want you to doubt yourself again” you smile as he puts you down

“Princess?”

“Yeah Lan?”

“Just like when we were 11 okay?” he says putting his hand on your cheek “What?” he cut you off by pressing his lips to yours, you melt into it wrapping your arm around his neck

After a few seconds he pulls away, looking outside the garage “Do you think they got it?”

You follow his eyes to the photographers standing outside, your heart drops. He didn’t mean it. It was just for the cameras.

then, right on the cusp of eighteen and freedom, he gets outed. AND transformed into a seven-year-old.

Danny was 17, transformed into a 7 year old and hides in Bludhaven, and is 8 when the police finally figure out that, hey, this weird kid who keeps altering us to crime scenes is usually right on the money about who the killer is, we should investigate that. Officer Grayson is on the case!

And discovers that he absolutely can't STAND this kid.

He thought he liked kids! Everyone thought he liked kids! but this kid...

This isn't called the Constantine Jr AU because Danny is a supernatural detective, or because Danny might be Constantine's kid. Its because Danny is an unrepentant little bas/tard and he makes it everyone's problem.

Grayson is desperate to figure out more about this kid, but he doesn't go to batman because, time-line wise, this is right before red hood starts running around. Jason is dead/alive-in-hiding, Tim is Robin, and Dick is mad about it. (ages-- Bruce: ? Nightwing: 24 Jason: 19 Tim: 15 Danny: 8 Damien: 7-8)

he doesn't really bond with the kid until they're both kidnapped by a gang for hostages, and Danny's big kid emotions get a hold of him (he thought he could escape them bc he's an adult, he's gone through worse, but nope! child brain chemistry). Grayson is worried that he's hurt and in pain, but Danny confesses that he's always in pain. he has nerve damage all over his body, and the only thing he really trusts is CBD. He feels like shit for taking his juul away, but more importantly, because he's been treating Danny like a irritant and just a little kid.

they get rescued and Grayson tries to take him back to his home, but Danny reveals he's homeless, saying something like "I sleep where it suits me, just drop me off whereever."

Absolutely not, Grayson is taking kid back to his place for a bed, food, and a shower, in whatever order the kid wants.

Danny stays semi-perminantly at his apartment, but Nightwing tries not to push it, because this kid practically screams flight risk. unfortunately, the paparazzi have nothing better to do and snap a pick of Grayson and Danny getting dinner together, speculating that Dick's taken after Bruce

Danny doesn't care too much; I think his ghost form is the same, if glitchy, so his parents don't know about the deaging. Grayson is mildly panicking, but its not like he HASN'T been considering adopting the evil troglodyte. Even Bruce, Tim, and Alfred aren't the problem.

No, the problem is the Red Hood, a crime boss who just cut 8 people's heads off, seeing what looks like Nightwing pulling an innocent kid into the neverending fight against crime and Seeing Green.

Honestly if the affini came after me, I would just ask to be an independant for a while to enjoy the freedoms of the Affini controlled world. I mean, id be happy to be a pet eventually, but after spending so long being shackled, Id just want to run around and be free, able to do whatever I want until ive had my fill.

Something I deeply desire is actual freedom. Not this false freedom America has. I want to not be scared to leave my house, get the things I need for better health and living, and simply... run. Just going whereever the wind takes me. Honestly every issue I have could be fixed from the affini. And if I was all fixed up... I would have the motivation to pursue old beloved interests.

That and I love meeting new people and talking to them. Though a good amount would be drugged tf out of their minds, id still have fun. Now the question is, when would I get tired of being able to run around and explore? Probably when drugged to sleep by an affini.

You can’t help but admire the snow-kissed landscape around you, all the trees and bushes that are covered in a glittery layer of ice that sparkles in the down-going sun.

But what is far better is the sight next to you.

“I can’t believe you never went ice-skating before! There’s nothing better than getting out of the city onto a little frozen lake.”

Oh, but there is him. Itadori Yuji, the pink-haired boy with a heart of pure gold. Not even the stinging fact that he’s the vessel of Ryomen Sukuna now can tear your gaze away from his gleaming eyes.

“Well, I’m not particularly good at ice-skating, y’know”, you remark with a shy grin.

The truth is, you never really went onto ice in your entire life. It just never appealed to you enough to go out all by yourself and glide over frozen water on your own. But with Yuji by your side, you might change your mind. Everything seems to be better with him, after all.

“Don’t worry (y/n)! I’ll teach you some moves!”

Electricity runs through your veins when he grabs your hand in order to help you into the skates you borrowed from Nobara. Just one glance at the perfectly frozen lake makes your palms sweat. You might want to spend time with your crush, but falling onto your ass and whining in front of him definitely isn’t involved in that.

“Let’s get started!”, he announces all excited.

He makes it look so damn easy, glides around the ice as if it’s the only thing he’s ever done in his entire life. Backwards, in circles, from the left to the right, fast and steady. And if you weren’t threatened to fall over right onto your nose any given minute, you could just stand here and stare at him all evening.

But your feet start to move on the icy surface on their own. Out of instinct, you stretch out your arms, wiggle for balance. But the more you move, the harder it gets to keep your face on the ground, to not fall over-

“Don’t worry, I’ve got you.”

Just before you’re about to fall very unladylike onto your butt, Yuji catches you in his strong arms with that smile that simply takes your breath away. You can feel your cheeks heat up in an instant, doe eyes staring right into his ones.

“Do you want me to show you some moves? I might not be the best teacher, but at the end of the day you’ll be able to skate on your own and that’s pretty cool!”

The way he softly smiles at you with his hand still resting intertwined with yours makes your heart skip a beat. This boy is everything you could have ever asked for, everything you never knew you needed. Yuji Itadori is so pure and full of love that it melts your heart like hot chocolate.

“Let’s give it a try.”

“That’s the spirit. Give me your other hand, I’ll show you how it’s done.”

You don’t hesitate. The second you position yourself in front of him with both of your hands laying in his larger ones, you are lost. Lost by the way he moves, lost by his cheerful smile, lost by the atmosphere around you. You feel like floating around, the ice underneath you becoming more and more minor. It’s just you and Yuji. Yuji holding your hands. Yuji not ripping his gleaming eyes away from you.

So instead, he normally would do it himself - which he was too lazy to do this time. Still, nothing but complains about how awful his hair looked grown out like this, how it was getting too long. You were a little fed up, to say the least. Now, you had enough and pushed him into the bathroom, determined to fix his hair issue.
