The person who saved my life, and the person who made me want to live again, were all you.

Writing this to echo what @thedeathdeelers said in her post. I'm a Seon Jae softie through and through, and yet, when anyone questions Im Sol's choices or calls her names, I want to flip a table pretty much because have you seen the effects her choices have had on people?

Because of Im Sol's choices her mom doesn't have a burn injury on her hand.

Because of Im Sol's choices their house didn't completely burn down.

Because of Im Sol's choices Hyun Joo finally has the best of both worlds, with no regrets about letting go of something for the other. Her brother who was struggling with no motivation or luck whatsoever is definitely better off now.

Because of Im Sol's choices we even have a Tae Sung in the story, otherwise all we knew at the beginning, in episode 1, was he was some guy who dropped out of school after getting into a fight over something. Not the best first introduction to a character (who goes on to become the best second ML ever). I am the most proud about Tae Sung's transformation, because you can see that even in high school, underneath the 'bad boy' facade, he craved some genuine care and attention and guidance, which Im Sol the haelmoni, the yeppo noona provided.

Im Sol's choices allowed Seon Jae in Alt 2023 to live guilt-free for 14 years (where they confess), instead of him suffering that mental anguish and longing for 15 years out of guilt which the OG Seon Jae had to go through. And we all know what my feelings are about that version of him.

Because of Im Sol's choices, Sonagi exists (/-ed). Because if the 19yo Im Sol had not held the umbrella over him, giving him that dazzling smile of hers that is sunburst and blinding and contagious, capable of stirring storms within the heart, our boy would not be smitten and a loser and a goner for life (well, lives). And now we all know what that means when she chooses not to do that.

If Im Sol's choices have made anyone's life harder, it's Im Sol herself. She carries around the memories of THREE++ timelines, with the love of her life dying/almost dying in EVERY one of them. She goes through life as if she really didn't live through all that trauma that is enough to drive someone insane. She knows her Seon Jae is gone, for good, and all she has are memories that don't even exist in this timeline, memories that not even a single person can corroborate. You know how utterly helpless and hopeless that sounds like? She has a person in this timeline that resembles her Seon Jae, but she has to constantly remind herself he is not her person, her Seon-Jae, he better not be if she wants to see him alive. Going around in the city and seeing his posters/ads with his face on it, or stumbling onto him and seeing him staring at her with no recognition whatsoever? It's not easy. Becoming a complete stranger to someone who was once your everything, who could've been your everything. Not easy.

And she decides to carry on with life still because deep down she knows that's what Seon Jae would want, that's what Seon Jae had taught her: to live for the people who are thankful to have her around, to live to see another day, rain or shine. She loves life, lives life, as a token of gratitude to Seon Jae. She lives because when she says You saved my life, and you made me live to him, those are not just words she is casually throwing around. She is thankful that he made her find reasons to live one more day, and she is going to pay him back by living a worthwhile life. Because Seon Jae truly wants/ed that. He literally died wanting that, putting her life before him, because he wanted her to live, and by living, I mean not just breathing and spending the remainder of her life with survivor's guilt. Going back to this epic confession scene, he says all that because he is afraid of how Im Sol would go on with her life if he's no more. Here, he wants her to know that she doesn't need to blame herself, or suffer, because it is his choice to save her, and it'll all be worth it to him if she gets to live the best life she possibly can.

Just like Seon Jae in any timeline never stopped living or appreciating the good things in life despite longing for Im Sol for more than a decade, she will live and keep her love for him alive through herself. Even if she comes back home at the end of the day to cry in secret, or breaks down in tears in public places.

If Im Sol didn't make the choices she did, we won't have a Seon Jae to begin with.

there is probably some way for it to be done (like im sure if someone KNEW something was up and delved into mystics they could find a solution. maybe it'd include throwing hands with kitsune because i cant think of anything equivalent to her power mystically. except for maybe mikey when he's honed all that more, considering he was the one to tear her apart in cw) but the curse threw them off any time they recognized something was off + yes it was completely reliant on donnie's death, his ninpo dying was a loophole. his death was the only way to break it normally on its own terms-- ironically, going back to the lair after running from april's is what saved his life in the end, because im sure they would've tracked him down and wouldnt have played with their prey if it festered for much longer.

I just had a diabolical thought about Bloom. What if she is a changeling? But not an actual mythological changeling.

What if instead of Daphne just dropping Bloom somewhere (inside a burning building) she swapped Bloom with the ACTUAL Bloom Peters? Daphne knew the ancestral witches would be looking for a baby, and she couldn’t have been sure those three (well two) would be defeated. So, she made a tough decision. She took Mike and Vanessa’s actual daughter and put the Princess of Domino in her place. So Daphne tried running with that baby for as long as she could, but eventually she was caught and killed. The witches tried to take the dragon flame from Bloom Peters but it didn’t work. She wasn’t Domino’s Princess. So they disposed of her. After the defeat of the Ancestral Witches the royal family of Domino was declared dead.

And Mike and Vanessa were unknowingly raising somebody else. She was called Bloom Peters sure, but she was still The Princess of Domino and Guardian of the Dragon Flame.

And imagine Bloom finding this out. That she isn’t Bloom, that she took the place of an innocent kid and has been living as her. Maybe that's what she finds out in Cloud Tower. Not that she’s a weapon created by the ancestral witches, but a fake. She isn’t Bloom Peters, she is The ‘dead’ Princess of Domino.

Imagine her trying to tell this to her ‘parents’ that she isn’t their daughter, that their actual child was buried in the tomb meant for her.

I feel like moments like these are important. It solidifies that after everything he has been through in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, he is still a child. In OOT, he really was a child trapped in an adults body.

He doesn't consider himself a grown-up and doesn't really understand what's going on in the Anju and Kafei sidequest. He isn't motivated by the stakes or to help two lovers reunite but rather to just help for the sake of it.

In Great Bay, there are, unfortunately, a bunch of weirdos. He looks at a Zora man weird, but I think rather than just finding him gross, he doesn't get it as seen in the Fish Wish sidequest. He finds them weird, but he doesn't have a full understanding of it. This showcases his innocence in the game.

Along with that, there's also a moment where Sakon the thief tries to take advantage of Link. He talks about Link's sword and how cool it is, gives advice, and compliments the sword again, asking to just see it. It's obviously suspicious to the player, but if Link says yes, Tatl immediately gets hostile and attacks Sakon to drive him away instead of letting Link hand over his sword. If Link says no but tries to talk to him again, Tatl will immediately become hostile at Sakon anyway. I feel like this can show how niave Link can be.

There's also when Link receives a Keaton mask. He doesn't really get the meaning behind it and doesn't think accepting it if it makes sense, but he does it anyway. This doesn't really further any points other than he really is just a niave kid going through the motions.

Point is Majora's Mask highlights how he is still a child at heart. He thinks and acts like one still after Ocrina of Time. He didn't just grow up when he was asleep for 7 years. After everything he's been through, he's still him: a child.

i know this is A Reach and possibly nitpicky but i think the prettification of the hunger games movies can be seen even in the small matter of katniss's hairstyle. what's described as a simple and practical braid in the books is now a fancy diagonal over-the-shoulder dutch braid in the movies (a braid that is neither functional when the purpose is to get your long hair out of the way, nor very quick/easy to do on yourself), and added to that is the fact that katniss has bangs, once again something that is very impractical when you consider that katniss hunts for a living and those loose hairs would not only be visually obstructive but would also get caught in the bowstring and yanked like hell every time she shoots. in the training sequence of catching fire you can literally see that the bangs are in her eyes. there's a reason olympic archers always have their hair tied up and tucked out of the way. if she were to have a dutch/french braid, the point of that would literally BE to get those shorter hairs out of the way. but since this is a hollywood movie of course they have to make their star have pretty hair that frames her face just so

Hi guys, I been having these comic ideas for a while but I don’t know what to start but I’ll give you a summary for one of them that involves Flaky:

-Flaky seems to have the clearest memory when it involves the death of her friends and herself. Every single detail and feeling of pain and dread she could tell you in the palm of her paw, Whenever she passed away then respawn on her bed the next day, she wakes up screaming, shaken and crying like it was all just a fuck up nightmare… Only to remember that her nightmare is her daily life occurrence… Over the years, The cursed of this town was slowly infecting Flaky’s mind, she was staring to become reactive and paranoid to the point her friends were noticing something’s off about their scary friend, Flaky have become distant to her friends, Flaky would also lock herself in her house for months on end until she runs out of food… Her nightmares have grown more detailed to the point she doesn’t have to close her eyes to see them. she would lay down on the floor for hours on end just breathing exasperatingly thinking she was going to die. Everything that she used to give her pleasure have become a distant memory when she used to take the joys of life itself. Now all she cares about it’s survival whenever it’s necessary…”-

Me when I see anti percabeth/anti Annabeth stuff and it's literally just vilifying her for problems(and things caused by these problems) girls with ADHD have that she very clearly needs help with

I'm just trying to enjoy my Tumblr experience and look at the tag of one of my favorite ships and characters of all time after some dumbass drama that happened at my school and I didn't expect to have to tag out this stuff so soon. Like... Let me live in peace! I do see someone handling their points with decorum and I absolutely adore them for it. Thank you for your service. Yes, they're not the greatest couple but they are trying. Stop getting upset over reactions caused by trauma/a chemical imbalance in their brains! Btw, I'm saying this as a girl with ADHD. It's hard, incredibly so, especially when a lot of our "symptoms" are seen as us being dramatic, it being that time of the month, or literally just us acting like women should act. Anyway, that's my two cents, no hate for anyone just think about things with a little more nuance and remember ADHD is different in girls than it is in boys and you may not know how it actually affects girls. Rick may not know it either and could be writing her like that without the nuance but he could also know! And ofc he isn't the best, he forgets stuff he established previously and sometimes has plot holes but all writers do it when they've written so many books in a continuity. This doesn't mean he's forgiven for those things, of course I'd love for some things to have been better written, but he's not the worst out there. I'm just tired, y'all. Also, if you attack me, you will be blocked, I want to have mature conversations if this does get seen by anyone and if you can't handle that then I don't want you on my blog. End of story.
