𝐒𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐤𝐞  𝐝𝐢𝐝  𝐧𝐨𝐭  𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞  well  to  people  trying  to  injure  a  certain  blonde,  which  some  could  argue  was  rich  on  his  part  given  the  fact  that  he  had  tried  to  injure  the  blonde  plenty  of  times  in  the  past  (  instances  he  regrets  so  much  nowadays  and  has  made  points  to  apologize  for  ).  But,  the  point  here  was  that  someone  dared  to  try  and  go  out  of  their  way  to  hurt  the  blonde,  they  were  happy  to  start  shit  and  Sasuke  was  more  than  happy  to  end  shit. 

Of  course  it  gets  to  a  point  where  Naruto  steps  right  in  and  makes  it  a  point  to  grab  his  chin  and  force  his  gaze  to  fall  onto  him  instead  before  Sasuke  can  strike  down  someone  with  every  bit  of  violence  that  he  is  capable  of.

And  he  is,  dual  colored  eyes  searching.  One  eye  hidden  behind  pieces  of  inky  locks,  another  that  is  usually  as  dark  as  night  is  instead  red  and  spinning  angrily  with  the  sharingan.  Yet,  any  anger  in  gaze  slowly  slides  away  as  gaze  continues  searching  Naruto's  blue  depths.  Hold  on  sword  slowly  eases  up,  grip  not  so  tight  that  his  knuckles  were  white  now. 

❝  I  can  end  them.  Let  me  end  them.  ❞  He  says  it  and  knows  that  Naruto  won't  let  him  let  himself  be  consumed  by  any  lingering  darkness  that  comes  out  when  he  feels  so  fiercely  protective  of  the  things  he  cares  about.
