The soft sound of heels hitting the floor of the courthouse echoed within her ears as her feet carried her quickly to where Camila had instructed her to meet. There was something to be said about Ava's flighty nature, but the way she would genuinely do anything for those she cared for, truly cared for, had become a priority over the last year.
