Old song parody.
Put Your Records On (Chipettes version), but this is the crap that Manifique Gerald has to deal with (aka, what le Darlen says/sends to him)

Put Your Records On (Chipettes version), but this is the crap that Manifique Gerald has to deal with (aka, what le Darlen says/sends to him)

Yo, this is allegedly the last chapter/parody thing I can make ... well, it's been fun, and I've made a lot of parodies, most being so good ... I'm actually GLAD this was my last, but didn't know it would be, and I was about to make another one, but I'm now changing my mind ... my parodies have influenced, recorded, and expressed my life, as well as been the alternative lyrics to songs I wanted to listen to, and I wouldn't have all of that, without them. Many popular songs, some that were just what I felt in the moment, or hypothetical scenarios, or even ... whatever my "Hoodie" parody is, and that was the purpose, wasn't it? This fun, consistent, and long-lasting series, has had great descriptions to follow, and many things to cover, but now the year and months have finally caught up ... I loved dissing the people who hurt me, making that one parody for my friend (who I turned into an AI after he left), and finally having the words to say what exactly happened during the bad boy situation, and so much more, and while â€s have come and gone from this vent-infused compilation, this "book" had iconic memes, a link to the mental health thing (in the Turn Me On parody), and could even work along stories, and more than I ever asked, could ask, or whatever ...
Just kidding, did you think it was over?! I will link the second part here, once I've made it, and my first parody of it - or just PUBLISHED, my first parody of it. Due to a glitch, at some point, in the early days of this, the She-Wolf parody was the preview, but the Teeth parody was actually the first one that one was on, when clicked (and then one could skip back once for the She-Wolf parody), and the cover was also supposed to be temporary - like, I wanted to change it within the hour, then just within the day, and months later, just accepted that it was too iconic to change. Oh, and the start? Well, I had thought of starting it, multiple times, and later thought several times about if I should do it due to seeing someone's favorite song of a survey in a journal-post being "Teeth" (which was also the reason for the parody, besides previous thoughts of changing it into dentistry, but it wasn't always planned to be dark, it just happened), and after more thoughts, it happened, with that cover image being a stock photo I had searched up and deemed outright "perfect" (the She-Wolf parody originally didn't have a cover), and my original plan was covers for all, except maybe the She-Wolf parody. I was actually also worried for getting in trouble for making this, yet here I am. Don't worry, like my stories, the Xanderverse meme thing, AND Separate Category, there will be a part 2 (also, RIP me claiming there was gonna be a second phase of Separate Category, and that I would leave Phase 1 stuff behind, but hey, at least things got more dramatic, I guess). Well, I guess sometimes teeth are the only thing I know, and there's *something* in the closet ... me: I'm frenchfurrygender. Downloadable song lyrics but I ruined them (I ALSO TAKE REQUESTS), compilation book: 2 Many Parodies.
đ¶Three little Tapes, sat near my window ...
And they told me I don't need to worry.
The weather came like my taxi ...
Rolling (slowly) ...
Objects smile while they talk all about life ...
Maybe sometimes ...
We, got it wrong, but it's alright ...
The more things seem to change ...
The more I stay the same -
Oh don't you hesitate -
BOY, put your playlist ON,
Tell me your favorite song!
You go ahead, lie yourself down!
Sapphire, and faded JEANS,
I hope you get your dreams,
JUST GO AHEAD, LIE YOURSELF DOWN!
You're gonna find yourself somewhere, somehow ...
Blue as my eyes,
Sleep-deprived and lonely ...
Sipping a hot drink in your office near sunlight -
Just relax, you'll be fine!
Don't you let those other folks ...
Fool you.
Gotta love how you sit like me, too ...
Maybe sometimes ...
We, feel afraid, but it's alright ...
The more they seem to change ...
The more, you stay the same -
You know what I'm about to say -
BOY, put your playlist ON,
Tell me your favorite song!
You go ahead, lie yourself down!
Sapphire, and faded JEANS,
I hope you get your dreams,
JUST GO AHEAD, LIE YOURSELF DOWN!
You're gonna find yourself somewhere, somehow ...
If it's more, than you can take,
Keep sitting, and take a break,
I'm sometimes also awake,
You know I'm just a text away -
When will you realize,
That you don't have to be ALONE any longer?!
I'll hug you 'til you fall over, and you -
BOY, put your playlist ON!
Tell me your favorite song!
You go ahead, lie yourself down!
Sapphire, and faded JEANS,
I hope you get your dreams,
JUST GO AHEAD, LIE YOURSELF DOWN!
BOY, put your playlist ON -
(Boy, put your playlist on)!
Tell me your favorite song -
(Homie, what's your favorite song) -
You go ahead -
(WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE SONG ) -
Lie yourself down -
(WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE SONG ... YEAH)!
Sapphire, and faded JEANS,
I hope you get your dreams -
(TELL ME, HOMIE)!
JUST GO AHEAD, LIE YOURSELF DOWN!
You're gonna find yourself somewhere ... SOMEHOW ...đ¶

Im not sure how long i had this blog in general. Maybe in late May??? Probably June.
But im just reflecting on things. Losing my old tumblr blog and emails before being hospitalized and sent to a facility. Then coming back making new emails and having to start over.
You'd think something like this would devastate me. But months earlier my house caught on fire and i lost all my sketches and artwork. I lost memorable items, manga collections i had since high school.
It was all gone. So some d*** hacking my phone and making me lose access to my emails and logins was the least of my problems. But when i went through living with someone who wanted to do s*xual things to me, being coerced while i was in psychosis and being assaulted.
I felt lost. Luckily when i was hospitalized i found God again. So i was working on getting back on the straight and narrow after i thought i was being spiritually attacked and realizing someone put a curse on me. (I think i know what happened but its another story for another day) And the psychosis took time to wear off.
In the meantime i managed to make a tumblr account again and start over. And i think its probably been about 2 or 3 months (getting out of that psychosis fog finally thank God!) And im not as patient and docile as i was before during the bits i was in psychosis. But im trying my best to stay close to God and Jesus and lead/live by example.
I feel like there's a lot i can thank God for and even if its just my psychosis i truly believe i am God's servant and soldier. I've been through so much and i had been so tough through it. It was scary, but braving it through and being patient taught me how to go about my life. It also taught me the importance of faith and my priorities.
I also realize that i can be really sh**ty to people i dont know online. But we can only blame negative and toxic internet culture for that. So i started vowing that i'll try to treat people the way i wanted to be treated online. Even if we are 'enemies' i'll still be nice and kind and give you advice on being a better person.
I wanna be the light for people online. Even if im posting dumb f/o and fandom related stuff. I wanna be that person where people see my icon and say "Theyre not perfect but they really try their best to be positive"
Like i said before i dont expect everyone to like me. I shouldnt care what others think of me either. But if someone says im toxic and i dont try, i'll tell them they are a liar. Because even before i got on here again i have been trying my best since the accident. I've slipped, fell, made lots of mistakes and had a hard time staying holy and righteous on my spiritual journey.
But anybody who judges me dont know what i went through. Dont know why i am the way i am. Dont know that im constantly improving me. With God and Jesus in my life, i may not know it all but i understand things a lot more than i did before. And im appreciative of Yahweh than i have ever been.
I know all of this is temporary anyway. Though i am appreciative of what i have now. Im not too keen on who we stay with for the moment, but im thankful i got a place to stay until we move. There's a lot to be grateful for now. And even though she drives me nuts, im grateful to have my mom.
These past few months in 2023 have been crazy. And i dont know how long i'll have this blog and side blogs. But im grateful it made it this far. And who knew i'd like Saitama from One Punch Man đ€·ââïž ?
But the fact i jumped from Enrico Pucci, to Joseph Joestar, to Saitama so quick worries it wont last. But i might have to force this hyperfixation somehow.
Anyway, I hope i didnt bore you too much. And i know most people on tumblr dont take time to read things. But i'd say: Count your blessings, be grateful for even the smallest things, appreciate your friends online and irl, and dont take things for granted
ty y'all have a good day, God bless, and drink plenty of waterâ©

Title: Itâs Good To Be Home
Pairings/Relationships: Core Four, Dickkory, Dick Grayson & Rachel Roth
Summary:Â The Wayne Manor was truly breathtaking. Rachel heard a few stories about the place from Dick and from Donna, she even got to sneak a glance at it through their memories but actually seeing it with her own eyes was a whole different experience.
The car slowed down rounding the fountain and her heartbeat sped up in her chest. They were here.

____________________________________________
The Wayne Manor was truly breathtaking.
Rachel kept staring at it with her nose glued to the windshield of the black SUV that was taking her there. After a twelve-hour flight from Themyscira and landing in New York the Amazons really surprised her saying that they are going to escort her to Gotham and not San Francisco. Since then she was wondering what might be the reason the team relocated there (and she was hoping it was temporary) but she didn't mind as long as she'd be reunited with her family.
Right now though she wasn't thinking about that, because her mind was occupied with this enormous castle-like mansion with giant windows and high towers and open taraces and a fountain in the center of the driveway. Rachel heard a few stories about the place from Dick and from Donna, she even got to sneak a glance at it through their memories but actually seeing it with her own eyes was a whole different experience.
The car slowed down rounding the fountain and Rachel's heartbeat sped up in her chest.
They were here.
And then there was Dick - standing next to Kory with his hands in his pockets and head held high. He looked more nervous than excited and Rachel had to resist the urge to roll her eyes thinking about how frantic and worried he must have been this whole time. But when he noticed her and their eyes met, his face instantly lit up, lips turning up in a brightest smile and Rachel was getting out of the car even before the engine stopped working.
Standing in line in front of the main entrance were Dick, Kory and Gar. She had no idea they'd be notified of her arrival but apparently they knew she was coming and now there's a whole welcoming committee waiting for her. Gar was bouncing on his feet, his excitement threatening to explode like a bomb. Rachel couldn't decide what was brighter - his smile or his green hair.
Kory, gorgeous as always, was standing in the middle with her arms crossed over her chest and lips stretched in a wide happy grin. She was dressed from head to toe in various shades of her beloved purple, from high heel boots and leather pants to the shiny glittery shirt. Her long hair was darker than Rachel remembered but she smiled when she noticed that the iconic thick curls were back.
At first she just stood there, happy to stretch her legs after a long drive and looked at them, smiling so hard her cheeks hurt. They didn't move either, as if paralyzed by some invisible force, watching her from a distance.
She's not sure who took the first step.
Maybe it was her, too eager to finally reunite with them after so long. Or maybe it was them, heading towards her together as one because they couldn't stand being apart for even one second longer.
She's not sure who took the first step but Dick got to her first.
All Rachel knew was that she was running and suddenly she found herself engulfed in his strong embrace, the sensation pushing all air out from her lungs. She linked her arms around his neck when he picked her up and started twirling around in circles with her, laughing into her ear. Her feet were dangling in the air and Rachel started giggling and squealing in delight as well, feeling like a little kid.Â
"Finally!" he sighed breathlessly when they stopped and he put her back on the ground. "Welcome back, sweetheart."
She stepped away from his hold to look at him but that's when she was captured again in two different sets of arms. She didn't even notice when Gar and Kory threw themselves at her, hugging her as tight as they could.
"It's been way too long." Kory told her, pressing a kiss to her temple. Rachel leaned her head to her and the two of them pressed their cheeks together, smiling.
"Don't leave us like that again!" Gar whined with his head on her other shoulder, squeezing her even tighter. Rachel started giggling again but this time it quickly turned into a choked up sob. She promised herself she wouldn't cry, but she couldn't hold it back now that she was with her family again.
Dick's expression softened, his eyes gazing at her affectionately.
"Oh, honey."
"I've missed you so much, guys." Rachel chuckled through tears, looking each one of them in the eyes. Dick walked up to the group and wrapped his arms around them all, pulling them into a group hug with Rachel in the middle.
"We've missed you, too, Rach." he murmured and kissed the top of her head.
"Mhmm." Kory nodded and cuddled closer.
"Like hell." Gar added and buried his face in her shoulder.Â
The three of them held her so tight she was starting to run out of air.
"Guys-" she gasped, trying not to laugh too much. "I can't- breathe-"
Mumbling their apologies they loosened their hold a bit, but none of them were planning on completely letting go of her. They surrounded her, arms still linked together and looking at their smiling faces, Rachel couldn't be happier. It's good to be home, even if it wasn't the Tower. Dick, Kory and Gar were here and her home was with them.Â
Dick's face caught her attention, his eyes to be specific and she raised an eyebrow at him, smirking.
"Are you- crying?"
"No!" he said instantly, but wiped at his cheek with the back of his hand.
"He totally is." Gar teased him, joining in on the fun. "He was one giant bubble of emotion since the moment we found out you're coming back."
"That's not true." the older man huffed.
"Oh please, that was nothing!" Kory's laugh rang in the air and Rachel turned to her with sparkling eyes. "You should have seen him in the first few weeks after you left. He was a mess!"
Gar burst out laughing, earning himself a deadly glare from Dick. Rachel couldn't stop grinning like an idiot at this entire exchange.
"Oh, yeah! He took moping around to a whole new level."
"I wasn't moping around."
"Sure, Jan."
Dick froze.
"Oh, God." Kory sighed, turning her eyes at the sky. "Here we go again." Rachel glanced between her and the boys with curiosity.
"Gar, what did I tell you about quoting memes?"
"Oh, c'mon man! It was a perfect opportunity!"
"Anyway!" Kory interrupted them with that I'm-gonna-beat-the-shit-out-of-you-if-you-don't-stop-right-now smile of hers, putting an end to their little bickering, then turned to Rachel and took her hands in hers. "After Dick finally stops denying he's overly emotional-"
"I'm not!"
"-like right now,"
"I'm not." Dick denied stubbornly, then smiled at Rachel. "I'm just happy you're back."
"-maybe you'll get to tell us how was it, hmm?" Kory finished her sentence and suddenly Rachel felt all eyes on her again. Their excitement was all over the place. She chuckled and squeezed the woman's hands back.
"Of course! I have so much to tell you!"
"Then you better start now." Gar pointed a finger at her face before walking up to her and taking her by the elbow to basically drag her in the direction of the house. "I wanna know everything! Especially if you have any new tricks up your sleeve."
Rachel shrugged innocently, but sent him a mischievous grin.
"Maybe one or two."
"Yesss!!! And wait until I'll show you around the house! This place is so dope!"
"Hey, shouldn't I be doing that?" Dick called out to them, picking up Rachel's bag from the ground where she left it.
"Exactly!" She turned to her green-haired friend. "Shouldn't he be doing that?"
"He's not gonna take you to the really cool places."
She raised an eyebrow at him, suspicious. "Such as?"
Gar glanced in both ways as if checking if no one else was listening in on their conversation, then leaned closer to Rachel and whispered. "The Batcave."
This time she couldn't hold it in anymore - she burst out laughing.
"No way!"
"Yes way!"
As Gar continued his excited rambling, Rachel looked over her shoulder at the two adults that were left behind. Dick's eyes were on her this whole time, he was smiling fondly and winked at her when their eyes met. Kory stood by his side with her hand resting on his shoulder and was sending her a look that said good luck with him now. Rachel smiled back and rolled her eyes, then followed Gar through the main entrance.
***
Dick watched his kids disappear behind the giant wooden door feeling light for the first time in months. Having Rachel back took a giant weight off his chest and he finally could breathe again. He didn't want to ask about Donna, not yet at least, he knew Rachel is gonna share the news with him sooner or later, no matter if they are good or bad. Right now all that mattered to him was that she was back with them and she was safe.Â
"You were crying." Kory pointed out in a teasing tone, smirking at him.
"I wasn't."
"I know what I saw, Grayson."
They stared at each other for a long moment but eventually he gave up. And no, it had nothing to do with the fact that he was starting to get lost in her eyes. Or with her smile that made his heart racing.
"Okay," he sighed. "Maybe a little. I'm just glad she's back with us, you know?"
Kory smiled at him and rubbed his shoulder comfortingly.
"I know, me too. Our girl is finally back home."

A Powerful Playlist
1. Respect - Aretha Franklin (Song details)
Released: April 29, 1967 Genre:
Songwriter(s): Otis Redding
Producer(s): Jerry Wexler
For me, the song "Respect" has always been one of the first songs that comes to mind when I think of Women's empowerment. Even though I have heard the song before, listening to this song takes me back to my marching band days. Researching this song promoted motived me to learn the lyrics.
"A little respect oh yeah (just a little bit)
A little respect (just a little bit)
I get tired (just a little bit) Keep on tryin' (just a little bit)
You're runnin' out of fools (just a little bit)
And I ain't lyin' (just a little bit)"
While the song wasn't originally written by Aretha, she truly made it her own by adding a few details. It is worth noting that Aretha was the first one to add the iconic âR-E-S-P-E-C-T" hook line. Thus she, and her creative team helped to make this a woman's empowerment anthem.
Aside from the amazing lyrics, there is just something so cool about the tempo and arrangement of this song. The intro is so upbeat and fun I cannot help but start to dance.
2. âMiss Independentâ â Kelly Clarkson
Released: April 10, 2003
Songwriter(s):Â Rhett Lawrence, Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Matt Morris
Producer(s): Rhett Lawrence
The song âMiss Independentâ is another that comes to mind when I personally think about the womanâs empowerment movement. Kelly Clarkson combines creative vocals and thoughtful lyrics to really drive the point home. It is also interesting to note that other artists had turned this song down before it arrived to Clarkson. It would turn out to be her first attempt at writing a song with a group and, after her American Idol Win, it really made her as a star. The lyrics:
âSo, by changing her
Misconceptions, she went in a new direction
And found inside she felt a connectionâ
really drive home the meaning. In short, a catching driving pop tempo and creative lyrics are the reason this song made my list.
3. âIndependent Women (Part 1),â â Destinyâs Child
Released:Â September 14, 2000
Songwriter(s): Tone, Poke, Cory Rooney & Beyoncé
Producer(s): Beyoncé, Cory Rooney & Trackmasters
Desitny's child has many inspiring songs about empowerment. I could list, at least five songs that I could have used for my play list! Nonetheless, âIndependent Womenâ is my favorite of their catalog and that is why I picked it for my list. The overall song has creative lyrics and a fun catchy beat. I can still really dance along to this song as a teen. Even as an adult, I still find the words fun and inspiring. This song drives home the idea that woman can provide for themselves. Fun fact, this song spent 11 weeks (about 2 and a half months) at number one on the Hot 100, becoming the groupâs longest running number one.
âTry to control me, boy, you get dismissed Pay my own car note and I pay my own bills Always fifty-fifty in relationshipsâ
The above lyrics drive home two important points, equality in the womanâs movement while still maintaining some independenceâ
4. âNone of Your Business" by Salt-N-Pepa
Released: October 1, 1993
Songwriter(s):Â Herby âLuvbugâ Azor
Producer(s):Â Herby âLuvbugâ Azor
Saltâ Peppa are another amazing female trio. They also have a catalog filled with impowering songs. While it was hard to pick just one, âNone of Your Businessâ will always be one of my favorites. I remember when this song first came out. Yet the lyrics have a different feel now that I am an adult. âNone of Your Business,â creative lyrics drive home a this fits right in with the overall theme for womanâs empowerment. This mix of rap and rock make this one of my favorites, because it crosses genres with its creation.
âSo the moral of this story is: Who are you to judge?
There's only one true judge, and that's God
So chill, and let my Father do His jobâ
These words have still stuck with me to this day.
5. âHard Out Here,â -- Lilly Allen
Released: November 17, 2013
Songwriter(s): Greg Kurstin & Lily Allen
Producer(s): Greg Kurstin
Lilly Allen has a catalog of fun quirky yet meaningful songs. I cannot recall exactly where I was when I first heard about this amazing artist... but I remember being instantly hooked. Whenever I am having a rough day, her songs were always one of my go-too. So, needless to say, âHard Out hereâ will always be one of my favorite songs by Lilly. This song is a mix of creative lyrics with the artists own brand of fun and quirky sarcasm. Thes lyrics are one of the main reasons why I picked this song for my list:7. âWe Run This,â Missy Elliott
Released: February 21, 2006
Songwriter(s):Â Rhemario âRio Beatsâ Webber, Jerry Lordan & Missy Elliott
Producer(s): Rhemario âRio Beatsâ Webber
Miss Elliot is another amazing female artist who has a lot of songs that fall under the theme over Womanâs empowerment. I picked the song âWe Run Thisâ because I thought it would best fit the overall flow of my playlist. This song mixes Electronic with hip hop genre of music. It has an upbeat tempo, making it one of those great songs with a fun âvibe.â Even though this song has some explicit lyrics, like the Liliya Allen song listed above, it also makes a point with those lyrics:
âYou don't want beef, don't take it that far with a superstar I got my foot on the clutch, see me bounce my butt Misdemeanor too much and I don't give a fuckâ
The lyrics shout âI am large and in charge,â and would make a good empowerment anthem.
âThere's a glass ceiling to break, uh-huh There's money to make And now it's time to speed it up 'Cause I can't move at this pace"
The goal to break the glass ceiling is an ongoing one for the womanâs empowerment movement. It is nice that this song gives a slight nod to that ongoing struggle. Not to mention, the music video takes a few sharp jabs at entertainment industry. The overall tempo and music arrangement also makes this song memorable.
6. âBitchâ Meredith Brooks
Released: May 20, 1997
Songwriter(s):Â Meredith Brooks & Shelly Peiken
Producer(s):Â Geza X
This song, by name will always come to mind when I think of Womanâs empowerment. Sure, the title might throw some people who are a little more sensitive. In my option its songâs main title is not used in a derogatory fashion. In my option, it feels empowering to call out the main part of the hook. I remember when it first came out... the lyrics struct me as very empowering, even at an early age. It was just fun to call out the tittle (much to the chagrin of my mother). "Bitch" starts off with a slow tempo and seems a bit unassuming, "innocent and sweet". Until the song changes up as the tempo song. Each time I hear this song I cannot help but song. The lyrics are fun yet gives you a something to think about:
âWhen you hurt, when you suffer I'm your angel undercover I've been numb, I'm revived Can't say I am not alive You know I wouldn't want it any other wayâ
8. âI'm Every Womanâ Whitney Huston
Released: November 17, 1992
Songwriter(s): Nickolas Ashford & Valerie Simpson
Producer(s): Narada Michael Walden
Whitney Huston will always be one of those amazing female artists. I can still recall when I first heard this song on the radio. As a young girl, it made me feel uplifted, as if I could grow up to be anything. That, hopefully, when I became a woman, that I would be able to go on to do remarkable things. Now, that I am older, I can full appreciate the importance of this song. As with some of the pervious songs, "I am Every Woman" has a good pace tempo. It is one of those fun, yet empowering songs, that gets people up and dancing. Hopefully, this powerful message will continue to be passed down to younger generations, and the singer's legacy will never be forgotten.
âWhatever you want
Whatever you need
Anything you want done baby
I do it naturally
Cause I'm every woman (Every woman)"
9. âSisters Are Doinâ It for Themselves,â Eurythmics feat. Aretha Franklin
Released:Â October 1, 1985
Songwriter(s):Â David A. Stewart & Annie Lennox
Producer(s): David A. Stewart
While there are many modern songs for womanâs empowerment, I wanted to add this older tune to provide a better mix. âSisters Are Doinâ It for Themselves,â is one of those classic songs that drives the point. These lyrics drive home the theme:
âThere was a time When they used to say That behind every great man There had to be a great woman But in these times of change You know that it is no longer true So [,] we're coming out of the kitchenâ
Like the other songs in my list, this one has a very upbeat tempo to match the lyrics. It is a very 80's song, but that is not a terrible thing! The arrangement is creative with that fun driving beat that brings out the amazing vocals of Eurythmics and Franklin. The music video also pokes fun of some of those old outdated ideas that once kept women back. Going back to the main theme, this song is about woman moving on to stand proud.
10. Karisome Otome - âTemporary Virginâ by Shiina Ringo
æ€ćææȘĂæè€ăăłăă«ăȘăœăĄäčć„łăăźæè©
Released: Novemberïżœïżœ11, 2006
Songwriter(s): Â Ringo Sheena, Soil & "Pimp" Sessions
Producer(s): Uni Inoue
I wanted to wrap this playlist with something a little different, but it keeps with the overall pop theme. I discovered this artist by happy accident while researching another topic. Shiina Ringo is an amazing vocal who has written most of her own songs. The fast tempo pairs nicely with Ringoâs voice. âKarisome Otomeâ is a song with an amazing mix of gernes. The tune starts of soft and sweet, much like Meredith Brooksâs âBitch.â While the theme of her songs varies, I picked this one because it pokes a little fun at the role women take when it comes to flirting and such. Here is the English translation of the entire song:
I'm just like the women Who stand next to you and stare Sweet intoxication But I'm leaving this affair You lit up my daydreams Like so many other guys Don't you look so lonely There's no sorrow in goodbye
What women want are some simple pleasures To be special We don't need you forever But I fell for your trap Girls will fall like that I was floating on a breeze What you must be feeling It was too late yesterday Despite your deceiving It was me who had my way But women always attempt to tell lies And to disguise, conceal what we want So when I try to deceive won't you believe Or say that you forgive me
In my option the song pokes some light hearted fun at the stereotype that women need men in a long-term sense. There are serval versions of this song, even one in English. Yet, like many of the songs, I wanted to mix things up by adding an artist that might be new to some of my readers.
Thanks for reading my list! Please check out the playlist, on YouTube. Drop me a line if you know any other great songs! I am open and love listening to different genres of music.
