Dawn hasn't even broken past the horizon and he's already here. Mostly awake, but still a smidgen frazzled from waking up extra early. And for what? All to present a small token of gratitude when struck by overnight inspiration. Truly, it's not much ( to him ), but he doesn't waste such words when sliding a rather tall cake box across the counter.

"Saw this in a store the other day and reminded me of you," he admits, trying his hardest to stifling a rising yawn. "Thought I'd recreate it."
