soooo past my bedtime but i have a craving to make another new character so don’t mind me listing ideas ( yes, they’re going to be wacky but let me know what sounds more interesting ☝🏼)

cursed furby …. thing. can change shape at will ( you know, like this, this, and this ). only sustenance needed are batteries. can take on a humanoid form and is quite attractive! but oh so …… unsettling in a way … maybe it’s how he always blinks one eye at a time … or the frighteningly demonic voice that sounds just like a furby voice box ….

rework ransom ( info here )! harpy that specializes in memories & runs an extremely hard to find shop that deals in that specific trade. can take memories ( happier ones are more valuable, while more troubled ones aren’t ) and even fabricate new ones. very strict with his own set of rules when it comes to business and always lays out explicit warnings of how disastrous meddling with memories can be. yet he’s never short on customers.

the peril — meant to embody the very gravity within the fringe but can be seen in plenty of other realms as well. within the fringe, their influence is shown by lands turned upside down or sideways and the visceral sense of falling without stop. outside of it, their presence manifests in deep rumbling storms and pressure — sometimes to the point of vertigo. when encountered, the manner of which they impact another varies person to person. some will experience the falling, vertigo, or threat of imminent thunder. the peril’s gravity is like a sirens call by proximity — meant to be oh so alluring to anyone within vicinity. often confused as a double agent of good and evil. moonlights as a radio talk show host, but in the way where a dial skipping ritual is needed to actually uncover their station. and when someone does? it's conversational. too personal. like they know things that have never been spoken aloud, but it's all truths — though the energy and emotion might be skewed. more of than not, it drives the listeners quite literally insane.
