THE SHOULDER TOUCH. ( A PROMPT LIST! )

𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠  𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬  𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭  𝐚𝐫𝐞  crawling  with  the  supernatural  creatures  as  told  by  rumors  can  always  be  risky,  somtimes  just  the  buildings  themselves  with  how  rundown  they  are  can  be  risky  too  (  the  latter  of  the  two  is  usually  what  they  have  to  deal  with  ).  Today  though,  there's  actually  something  dangerous  and  Lesley  doesn't  even  know  it  but  it  seems  that  Cosmo  does. 

Lesley  had  been  gushing  about  something  that  they  think  might  have  something  to  do  with  some  sort  of  supernatural  creature,  completely  missing  a  looming  presence,  miss  how  two  sets  of  hands  reach  for  two  different  arms,  one  with  nails  sharp  and  digging  into  their  skin  and  other  kind  and  protective  pulling  them  away.  The  protective  set  of  hands  win,  though  not  before  those  sharp  nails  of  whatever  that  was  broke  the  skin  and  had  their  arm  bleeding.  There's  a  yelp  from  them,  a  pain  in  arm  and  a  whirlwind  of  motion  as  they  are  pulled  to  Cosmo  and  pulled  behind  him.  They  stare  with  wide  violet  eyes  and  shrink  behind  Cosmo,  confused  but  taking  it  seriously  because  they  were  injuried  by  something  and  because  when  Cosmo  reacts  like  this  then  that  means  something  is  really  wrong.  They've  never  once  doubted  Cosmo  on  something  like  this,  they've  just  never  understood  how  Cosmo  knows  things  and  does  things  so  quickly.

❝  Cosmo  ?  What  was  that  ?  ❞  Their  fingers  gently  hold  Cosmo's  sleeve,  a  slight  shake  can  be  felt  in  their  hands  as  the  peer  past  the  other  to  try  and  see  what  Cosmo  was  apparently  seeing  in  the  shadows.  Seriously,  how  did  Cosmo  pick  up  on  stuff  that  Lesley  missed  ?  Lesley  squints  as  teeth  gnaw  and  lower  lip.  Then  gaze  flickers  to  their  arm  and  the  really  take  it  seriously  after  a  moment.  ❝  Cosmo  .  .  .  My  arm  is  bleeding.  It  hurts.  ❞  .  .  .  .  They're actually scared.
