Walking down the street unsuspecting, stumbling over an headline that in the city near me some people planted some daffodils in shape of a giant penis.
Here is the article about it (in german)

i am choosing to believe that this panel of damian is actually a photo that talia took
tim has a copy. no one knows how he got it. and every single time damian starts going off about how the batman mantle is HIS and all the others are inferior tim whips it out all faux innocent like "but i thought you already tried the cowl and it didn't fit?"
dick has had to literally lift damian off of tim multiple times because of this.

Hi! Fun fact: Gaskell went on the record to say that, had she known at the beginning that Cranford was going to expand to 16 chapters, she wouldn't have killed Captain Brown so early on. We also know that John Ruskin (me and the homies hate John Ruskin as a person, BUT) rage-quitted when he reached Captain Brown's death, and had to be persuaded by his mom (who had reread Cranford several times) to push past it. He told this to Gaskell on a letter, and added that he found the book too short and was surprised that she didn't go on, considering it would have given her the chance to kill more characters. Apparently the Victorians as a rule didn't like death so much, Gaskell just was the Character Death Georg that gave them that fame.
first i need to know the tea on John Ruskin, i know very little of him other than he has a quote that I like and that he features often in a book i read about how capitalism is the new religion lol

Hero Chat was like the 3rd fanfic I read, and it opened up the whole world of fanfiction to me. Now I am wholly immersed. This means that my naive and inexperienced older brother, who is just discovering fanfic, asks me questions, seeing as how I am a seasoned expert or something. A non-exhauarive list of things I have now explained to him that I am going to blame you for:
The vast majority of fanfiction is gay slash
Why I know more about MHA than I have any right to, seeing as how I've never watched the show
Everyone is trans if the author says so, fuck you.
The Omegaverse Exists
Possible reasons that he finds more smutty fanart for straight ships and more fluffy wholesome fanart for gay ships even though he doesn't go looking for shipping fanart of any type on the regular
AO3 cultural phenomenons
AO3 authors are fucking insane (affectionate)
What a crack fic is
ML and salt fics
ML's. . .complicated relationship with the show's canon
ML's complicated relationship with Chloe
ML's complicated relationship with TA
In depth explanation of gen vs slash
The words Canon Compliant and Canon Divergence will make your life infinitely better
The words "tism stick" which is now in his vernacular (he calls Bad Batch "Clone Wars but everyone got hit with the tism stick")
DC stands for Disregard Canon
DC's obsession with whole universe reboots
The concept of Don't Like Don't Read
Such popular fanfic genres as the Highschool AU, the coffee shop AU, the modern AU, the no powers AU, and several erotic tropes we now both regrettably know about.
Possible reasons most fan creators are queer.
Thank you for the mess that is my life right now (genuine gratitude).
I'm glad to have been such an awful influence!
