I think about the ending scene from the Motto (Season 3's) movie ALOT.
Aiko finally overcame her trauma involving a grandparent (her mom's dad) only now being able to sit in Doremi's grandpa's lap when all the other girls did it so easily the day before. She finally musters the courage to talk to him after running away from him in tears the morning before in the tomato garden due to seeing her own grandfather's anger filed face. (I might make another post about that scene at a later date because there's alot to explain and that makes this scene so much sadder)
But I digress,
She's finally finding solace in Grandpa Harukaze…only to find out he's dying.
Listen to her: She’s absolutely DEVASTATED.
It’s the fact that out of all the girls, Aiko was crying the loudest. You can hear her the most clearly out of them.
Doremi’s crying too (all the girls are) but I feel as she’s not crying as loudly as Aiko because she’s trying to stay strong for not just her baby sister Pop but for her father (her grandfather’s son) who is sitting right there. She IS the eldest daughter, but the reality of everything sunk in and she is trying her best to keep it together, not just for her dad but for everyone else too.
But Aiko? She’s letting it ALL OUT.
This is also one of the rare times she's crying like this in front of ANYONE. She's cried like this to her parents in s2, but NEVER like this in front of her friends and especially in front of friend's parents or a person she only knew for TWO days.
When I say that this little blue haired spunky girl has trauma, HOO BOY DOES SHE HAVE TRAUMA AND A LOT OF IT TO BOOT.

"Hey hey hey, Yuki-nii san!" Called out a 12 year old girl to his 18 year old brother, Yuuki Hashira. "Hey hey hey little sister, Fuyu!" He respond back as he faces his little sister, Fuyu Hashira and gave her a pat on the head as he kneels down to match her height. "There's snow outside! Let's play!" She said with an excited yet childish tone. "Hold on, let me take our winter attire, okay?" He ruffles her silver hair before standing straight up and going to their room to get their winter attire. "C'mon Yuki-nii san! Hurry up!" Whined Fuyu as she pouts. "Hai hai, your clothes are all messed up in your closet so I can't fine your jacket and other." Said Yuki, loud enough for his little sister to hear from the other side of the room. As he gets out of the room, he was holding two thick and normal jackets, two pairs of gloves, two scarves, and two pairs of boots. Fuyu walked closer to Yuki and helps out his little sister to wear her winter attire before he could wear his.
As they finish, Fuyu ran towards the front door of their house as Yuki follows her. "Yay! Snow!" Yelled out Fuyu excitedly. Yuki puts his hands in his pockets as he lets out a sigh, a smile plastered on his face. He was happy to see his precious little sister happy while Fuyu giggles as she plays with the snow. "Hey hey hey Yuki-nii san! Let's make a snowman!" Asked Fuyu as she walks towards Yuki and pulls him somewhere where they can make a snowman. "A-Alright, let's not get too excited now, Fuyu." warned Yuki though his voice sounds warm and soft.
Both started making a snowman as they joke around and have some fun conversation. As they finish making the snowman, Yuki puts his scarf around it for the finishing touches."Woah!! Yay! A snowman!" Said Fuyu excitedly as she hugs it. "I'm calling it Mr. Suffy!" Yuki let's out a giggle while he watches his little sister giving the snowman a name. While Yuki was giggling, Fuyu made a snowball amd threw it at her older brother, making him stop giggling. "Fuyu, you know that I don't like playing child's game but I don't when it comes to you." He said with a teasing tone and quickly made a snowball and threw it at her. Fuyu protects her face with her arms, trying to shield herself from the snowball. While Yuki was busy making more snowballs, she quickly made two and threw it at Yuki. Of course, Yuki was shocked but just laughed it off and threw another snowball at her.
Giggles and laughs could be heard from the two of them. As they got tired, they sat down. Trying to catch their breath. "That was fun!" Said Fuyu as she gave his big brother her usual wide and cheerful smile. Yuki smiled back as he pats his little sister's head again. "I had fun too." He said as he ruffles her hair more. "Let's go inside now. It's getting dark." He offered as he stands up, reaching out his hands to Fuyu to help her stand up. Yuki assists his little sister stand up and went inside the house. They wipe the snow that was on their clothes and removed their thick jackets and boots as Yuki turns on the heater. "Want me to make some hot chocolate so we could enjoy them while watching by the balcony? You know, like what we used to do when winter season comes." He said as he looks at her sister with her eyes sparkling. "Yes please!!!" She said as she jumps up and down, excited. Yuki chuckles as he proceeds to go to the kitchen to make some hot chocolate.
As he finishes making their hot chocolates, Yuki puts marshmallows at it and walked out of the kitchen, holding their cup of hot chocolates. "Hey Fuyu? Can you get out thick blanket?" No response. He shrugs, knowing that Fuyu was already at the balcony. He walks up stairs, being careful every step and trying not to trip on the stairs. As he reaches the room with the balcony, he sees his little sister staring at the sky. He lets out a sigh as his lips forms a smile. "Hey hey hey, little sister Fuyu!" He called out, walking towards her with their cup of hot chocolate. Fuyu looks back, her wide cheerful smile still on her face. "Hey hey hey Yuki-nii san! Oh- wait, I'll take the bean bag and our blankie!" She said cheerfully as she runs inside the room and gets the bean bag and their thick blanket, placing it by the balcony.
Yuki sits down, leaving enough soace for Fuyu to sit down and gives his little sister's hot chocolate to her. Fuyu sits down next to her brother, drinking the hot chocolate as Yuki puts the blanket on them and puts his arms around her little sister as his fingers play with Fuyu's silver mid-length hair. They didn't mind the snow by the balcony since they got used by the cold temperature. "Hey hey hey Yuki-nii san?" Yuki hummed in response. "Will there be a day you'll leave my like mom and dad?" She asked, looking at her brother. Yuki chuckles and ruffles her hair. "Why would I? That's some pathetic question. I would never leave you." He said as he gives Fuyu his softest smile. It was rare to see Yuki smile like that. The only person that could make him smile softly is his precious little sister, Fuyu. "Yuki-nii san..." she called out again. When Yuki looked at her, tears were falling down her cheeks while looking at him, trying to smile. Saying something. "Yuki-nii san..-"
............
Silence. Silence could be heard. He didn't hear what Fuyu said. Tears started streaming down his pale cheeks. "Fuyu?" He called out. Seeing no one around. "Fuyu?!" He again called out. Panicking. He quickly stood up from the bean bag, finding her little sister in the house. "F-Fuyu?! W-Where are you?!" He called out again. She was nowhere to be seen in the house. He took his boots and thick jacket, quickly wearing them and goes outside. "Fuyu!! Fuyu!! Where are you?! Quit joking around please!!" He yelled out, looking around outside. People were weirdly looking at him. By coincidence, his friend Aiko was there. "Yuki!" Aiko called out as he rushes towards his friend. "A-Aiko! Have you seen Fuyu?! I can't find her..." He said as he still tries to look around. There was a silence. "A-Aiko! Answer me!" He shouted to his friend as he started crying too. "Yuki. Stop. Stop looking for her! She's dead! Knock out to your senses!" He said, shaking his friend to reality. More tears started to stream down his cheeks. He falls down to his knees, sobbing and hiccups could be heard from Yuki. "I'm sorry Yuki.. I know how much you love your little sister but accept it. She's gone." Said Aiko as he comforts Yuki.
"I wished I was nicer to her..."
"I wished I brought her to the places she wanna go..."
"I wish I was always there for her..."
"But it's too late... I should have love my little sister more..."
