#/ poor jiaoqiu got bit a lot

today i am thinking about how moze turned to biting everyone when he was first released from the cult. it's a habit he has not grown out of, though now it's usually done out of affection, instead of anger and fear.

SO. I have a couple thoughts about this patch.

Yunli is... a mixed bag for me. As a unit, during the moments I was able to try her out, she was fine. Interesting, even! As a character... She falls kinda flat for me. She annoyed the hell out of me with the way she antagonized Yanqing and her general attitude. Her companion mission only alleviated that a little bit.

Talon Warburton sounds really off as Argenti. I truly don't mean any disrespect towards him, but I believe that Adam Michael Gold was the better choice; he made him sound gentle and gentlemanly, but also flamboyant and fun! Warburton sounds like he's trying to imitate Gold and isn't quite able to manage it, while Gold sounded natural in the role. I hope he comes back to it!!

I found out Huohuo and Tail got replaced just as I started writing this, which I did not notice while playing through the patch. The new VAs actually sound pretty okay to me! Nothing to really note there.

I honestly just want to know why Gold and Courtney Lin got replaced. A couple of people on here theorize that it might have to do with the strike, but until we get definitive confirmation then I'll take it with a grain of salt.

Poor Jing Yuan. He is really being put upon by a lot of people in the Xianzhou Alliance. I think Huaiyan said it best that people are waiting for the vaunted Divine Foresight to fall from grace just to sick satisfaction out of it.

I like Feixiao! Much more reasonable than I'd first assumed. I also love her eyes, she has one of the prettiest pairs of eyes in the whole game. (Still rather wary about her reputation as a warhawk though.)

Moze comes off as quite ass when he leaves Jiaoqiu behind, but I'm ambivalent towards him otherwise.

Speaking of Jiaoqiu, I'm glad I saw his leaked character stories before this otherwise he'd strike me as being very duplicitous. But he's just protective of his general and doing his best in his role... But I'm still baffled about him deciding to use a laxative to deal with Skott. A pretty fucking potent one at that.

I despise Hoolay and I wish to put his head on a pike.

March 7th's new outfit is super cute!! I want to wear it!

Also this first half of the patch was cut off really abruptly??? I feel like they rushed it out to meet a deadline because it's clearly not meant to be played on it's own.

I am terrified of what Ruan Mei has planned with the leviathans. I am further horrified by the implication that Tingyun has somehow been roped into it.

In spite of my gripes, I honestly like this patch!! I'm actually really excited for the second half.
