Q: What are these? A: These are cards from the Case Closed TCG!

Promotional cards are only distinct from their base counterparts by the white-colored icon in the top right corner. Promos are just alt art versions of existing cards, but are exceptionally rare as they could not be obtained in booster packs or starter boxes, instead only being available as tournament prizes or coupled with other media.

Two sets of CC TCG promo cards exist, one for each booster release. Every Premier starter box comes with a small poster which includes these alt art cards in its set count, however no such list exists for Crime and Punishment that was released to the public (there is only an equally rare promotional poster).

This card is from the Premier release and was obtained via a first-edition print copy of Viz's release of Case Closed Vol. 7 in 2005. A sticker on the front of the volume claims this version was limited to 8000 copies; the card was contained in a sleeve behind the back cover and is the alt-art release of Premier #120 (rare rarity). Interestingly, the wrong art is used on the sleeve the alt-art version is packaged in, instead depicting the standard release.

Early sale sheets for the Premier set show that Score Entertainment intended to print foil cards for this TCG (1 per booster pack). I imagine this was also the plan for promo cards but have heard from other collectors that they ultimately didn't bother as the TCG had already been written off prior to production (however, info about this game being so scarce... I cannot confirm with a source).

00. INTRODUCTION. this is an independent mutuals - only tendo akane roleplay blog written by berry ( they / she / he ).

01. MANGA BASED. i've fully watched the anime + ovas + movies ( dubbed ), read the manga and i'm planning to watch the remake yet my akane will be entirely manga based. akane and ranma are equals and the 80s manga has been the only media so far reflecting this so i'm sticking with it.

02. FOLLOWING. this is a semi selective mutuals only blog. open to other fandoms, multimuses, ocs, and even doubles. having a rules page is a must for me, i won't follow without one. i have the right to unfollow and block at any moment. if i follow it means i'm interested in interacting ! feel free to send an ask, like old starter calls or approach to plot.

** be aware that i'll eventually soft block blogs that only interact with a limited group of people or those that i haven't interacted with at all in months. feel free to refollow later on if you do wish to interact. ** i don't support the use of ai ""art"" to make icons, edits or anything really. i'll softblock anyone who does so and won't follow back blogs using such tools. ** i will block personal blogs. i have had enough bad experiences with them so i would prefer if no personal blogs followed me or interacted with this blog or else i will block.

03. DNI. the basic dni criteria. i won't follow blogs with muses of the following fandoms unless they're a multimuse and the appearance of said characters isn't the main focus : voltron, hazbin hotel, helluva boss.

** i won't follow back rp blogs from the inuyasha sequel : 'yashahime: princess half-demon' unless there's a heavy divergence from canon. i don't acknowledge this anime and the outcome ( not to mention how it ruinied the inuyasha characters ) makes me incredibly uncomfortable, sorry

04. TAGS. ( # TW. EXAMPLE ), will tag ranma leaks and remake spoilers under : #TW. 2K24 RANMA SPOILERS.

05. IMS. open to mutuals. there's a little detail to have in consideration though: i suck at consistent messaging. i either reply right away or take weeks, months even, but that doesn't mean that i don't care about you or our plot, i'm simply forgetful and a general mess. i got a busy life so giving me reminders are pretty much welcome. with this said, feel free to reach out whenever !

Rules

I'm good with any rp style! Please don't feel like you're writing too much or too little when writing with me. I'll do my best to match where you're at!

All my muses are good for multishipping, and I'm down for shipping muses with mine! However, please ask first! I need communication on this. Please don't force ships on me!

Please, do not godmod, or tell me how I'm writing my muses wrong, etc. At least, not without any previous communication! If we agree on something happening beforehand, that's different. Again, I need communication on this!

Please be patient! I work a full-time job, I have lots of doctor's appointments, I also write fanfiction, and I have a life outside of rp! I don't know how often I'll be able to post! I will do my best! Sometimes my anxiety gets the best of me as well, but I will do my best!

I am down for crossovers, I am down for AUs, I am down for interacting with doubles/duplicates, I am down for rping with OCs! I am a big fan of the yugioh spinoffs and am down to rp with characters from the spinoffs!

I am down to write pretty much anything! Most dark topics are probably not going to be too much for me. Feel free to ask ahead of time if something's okay!

If I've reblogged a meme (sentence starters, etc.) then I will accept them at pretty much any time. There's no time limit.

Icons are not an expectation I have for anyone. Rio, Shark, Rua, Jun, and Johan have anime icons from ygoicons. Yuri and Yugo I'm making some of my own icons for, but I also am using manga icons by sassyrookie.

I don't really have solid set verses in mind right now, I'll probably default to canon-compliant with headcanons for my muses, but I'm very down to switch up what I'm doing to any sort of AU you might have in mind! I like to try to be adaptable and meet people where they're at.

RULES.

going to try and keep this pretty simple & straightforward.

I. You must be 18+ to interact with me. I am 42 years old.

There will be not safe for work content on this blog of the sexual and potentially of the graphic violence nature. I do tag everything that might be triggering and am happy to tag whatever you ask me to so long as I remember!

I ask that you tag any visuals containing spiders with spider tw* spiders tw* arachnophobia tw* etc etc and yes, I know it’s a weird one but anything about the taste of soap or eating soap is a trigger so just tag it with soap tw* or penny don’t look* as I have that blacklisted too. I don’t have any triggering fcs or what not.

II. This blog is multi-ship, multi-verse, crossover & au friendly.

Every ship is in its’ own verse unless previously discussed with all parties. Every thread or set of threads takes place in its own universe unless previously discussed with all parties.

III. I write anything from one-liners to novellas, it really just depends on life, my headspace, how much sleep I’ve been getting, how much else I have going on in real life, etc.

IV. My activity is NOT consistent. I am infamous for blog hopping. I have literally replied to some starters / replies two years+ after they were originally written. I am not fast. If I am fast, it’s by some small miracle and perfect storm of brain, muse and free time. It will not last.

V. I have kids, cats and dogs; I am in college, I have a household to take care of and I have many physical and mental handicaps that can affect my ability to function and write, including but not limited to rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, spinal stenosis, ganglion cysts, torn meniscus, migraines, hypothyroidism, PMDD, nerve damage, herniated disc, ADHD, depression, anxiety, C-PTSD and severe insomnia.

Roleplay is something I do for fun.

If it isn’t fun, I don’t do it.

If it’s stressing me out, I’ll avoid it.

VI. I do graphic commissions.

I run @tuppencetrinkets where I post the millions of screencaps and 200x100 icons that I make. The resources are free but donations are always appreciated as I pay about $40 in hosting / program fees a month. My commissions are always pay what you can. I hate setting prices because I want everyone to have pretties if they want them and I don’t know what anyone can afford at any given time. I do everything from base icons to edited icons, backgrounds, headers, dividers, promos, videos, you name it. I try to be quick with turnaround but again – sometimes I just can’t be.

VII. I am fine with plotting things out in advance or winging it. I really don’t care, whatever you are more comfortable with is fine with me.

I like all kinds of plots. I like fluffy things, slice of life, broships, frenemies, enemies, familial, found family, long arcing, one shot throwaway, dark and twisted, you name it plots. I will not write n*ncon or anything nsfw themed /even hinted at with minor characters and I won’t write any explicit child death etc. but most everything else is fair game.

VIII. You can throw a million memes at me any time you want to.

IX. You can throw any and all starters at me any time you want to.

I’m not necessarily mutual exclusive but I don’t guarantee I’ll respond to memes or starters from non-mutual blogs.

X. I use icons, headers, promos etc. that I make myself 99% of the time. Please do not use any of my edited graphics. All base icons I use are free and available on my resource blog.

XI. I use small text and my icons are 200x100 with empty space to make them 540x130 so that they don’t stretch out on mobile. I prefer not heavily edited replies in terms of font variance and colors but really don’t care that much.

XII. I’ve probably forgotten relevant things but, who knows.

XIII. No drama. Period. I’m not interested.

XIV. I’m here for fun. I’m really pretty easy going. If you have any questions feel free to toss them into my inbox!

Multi-ship, multi-verse. Each and every romance played will be in its own verse, so rest assured there’s no infidelity going on between muses.

18+ only but 21+ preferred. 25+? Super bonus points.

I am very friendly but I have limits. I have had to abandon many blogs in the past, including recent past, due to stress from passive aggressive rp partners, self-pitying rp partners, rp partners who only liked me for the gifts I gave them, or rp partners who completely misconstrued information which I supplied for my own boundaries/comfort. With that said, I WILL HARD BLOCK WITHOUT NOTICE IF YOU HAVE MADE ME FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE FOR ANY REASON.

Do not follow me or interact if you think of yourself (the mun) as a satanist or if your muse is a satanist. Additionally, I would prefer not to write with muns who practice witchcraft irl.

I have three personal triggers, please respect them. They are: arachnids, throwing up, phlegm

Please don't use problematic fcs - I don't keep up with gossip, personally, but if you know they're problematic then please refrain from using them when interacting w/ me. I try to avoid drama at all costs. No internet personalities/youtubers. Some very close friends (people I’ve known for years) use the latter but that is absolutely an EXCEPTION to this rule. No singers/other either unless they also act. Again, old friends are an exception to this.

I will not ship the Hatter and the Hare romantically. Period.

going to try and keep this pretty simple & straightforward.

I. You must be 18+ to interact with me. 21+ is preferred.

There will be not safe for work content on this blog of the sexual and potentially of the graphic violence nature. I do tag everything that might be triggering and am happy to tag whatever you ask me to so long as I remember!

I ask that you tag any visuals containing spiders with spider tw* spiders tw* arachnophobia tw* etc etc and yes, I know it’s a weird one but anything about the taste of soap or eating soap is a trigger so just tag it with soap tw* or penny don’t look* as I have that blacklisted too. I don’t have any triggering fcs or what not.

II. This blog is multi-ship, multi-verse, crossover & au friendly.

Every ship is in its’ own verse unless previously discussed with all parties. Every thread or set of threads takes place in its own universe unless previously discussed with all parties.

III. I write anything from one-liners to novellas, it really just depends on life, my headspace, how much sleep I’ve been getting, how much else I have going on in real life, etc.

IV. My activity is NOT consistent. I am infamous for blog hopping. I have literally replied to some starters / replies years+ after they were originally written. I am not fast. If I am fast, it’s by some small miracle and perfect storm of brain, muse and free time. It will not last.

V. I’m 42. I have kids, cats, & dogs; I am in college, I have a household to take care of and I have many physical and mental handicaps that can affect my ability to function and write, including but not limited to rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, spinal stenosis, ganglion cysts, torn meniscus, migraines, hypothyroidism, PMDD, nerve damage, herniated disc, ADHD, depression, anxiety, C-PTSD and severe insomnia.
